7 Year Rash

Today is the 7th Anniversary of this blog. For a long time this year I considered making this one my last because, quite simply, The Stupid Have Inherited the Earth. Intelligence and Common Sense (let alone <gasp> Logic) are Politically Incorrect. Hell, some Leftists have decreed that just saying “politically incorrect” is Politically Incorrect. 😦

So instead I thought I’d revisit one of my favorites from the last 7 years.

This also goes out the #NeverTrump -ers who are so mindlessly obsessed with hating Donald Trump that they are willing Hillary into the White House.

Hate never felt so Right. 🙂

And a special shout out to the Sabotage Republicans (The Establishment ones and their followers) WHO ALSO want Hillary.

THE ZOMBIE HOARD

Evidence John King, the CNN Liberal Moderator of the South Carolina Debate. He opens the debate with a salicious question to Gingrich about his “open marriage” and Gingrich blows him to bits for it and the crowd goes wild.

He did this to prove his “courage” to stand up to the evil “right wingers” and puff out his chest that he was “journalist” and was going to bravely confront the issue. Meanwhile, anything remotely damaging to President Obama is ignored with great speed and spin.🙂

2016: Just Like they do with Hillary. The Debate will be set up to show that Trump is grumpy, unstable and mean. The fact that Hillary is a congenital, sociopathica Liar has no bearing on the debates whatsover.

Their will be more Candy Crowley moments than ever.

John King is a hero in the Main Street media because he didn’t back down, because he continued to illustrate how it is that the media does really control the agenda. That was a demonstration of the power they hold over every public figure’s head, that they choose to hold like a guillotine. John King… There may even be some jealousy and envy within the journalist ranks (well, not journalists; within the Democrat Party ranks) because John King is a guy that got in Newt’s face, stared him down — and the fact that Newt told him off? It’s a badge of honor. If you are thinking that John King was embarrassed and ran away with his tail tucked between his legs and learned his lesson and it’ll never happen again? Ah, ah, ah, ah. You cannot shame the mainstream media. They are proud of this. They delight in their power to destroy candidates that they don’t like.

And they don’t like anyone who doesn’t cow-tow to them.

2016: They made THEIR Choice. Now it’s you’re Zombie duty to vote for it or else.

Hell, the Democrats got caught rigging the Primary, blatantly.

No one really cared.

#2: Hillary is caught re-handed on the Email Scandal. The FBI even says so. But since Comey has connections to Clinton and doesn’t want to have a mysterious “accident” she is not prosecuted.

Other people not connected to Clinton aren’t so lucky.

And “getting them while they are young” is entirely within the Zombie Liberal playbook. Make them a zombie before they even know what one is and then make them as immune as possible to any anti-virus and get them addicted to their own Kool-Aid. And as we all know from childhood development the child has to develop a sense of shame by have having boundaries and limitations and consequences. And if they don’t, they will grow up with little to no sense of shame.

So if we defeat then in 2012 will they go away?

Rock Meet Hard Place

You have to feel for the Republicans (unless your a Liberal then the only feeling you have is a seething hatred and nothing else) because they are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

UPDATE: Congressional Republicans have passed legislation to repeal Obamacare for the first time.

They know it’s an empty gesture because King Obama would never sign it.

But they have to do it to make the Rebel elements in the party happy.

But a lot of them also figure it’s a stunt to curry favor made by the disingenuous RINOs.

Both are likely true.

The Republicans spent so many years, especially under Jar Jar Boehner, being the Capitulation Weasals that they were no one quite believes them.

I know I don’t, YET. But it’s a good start.

The legislation would also significantly reduce taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, redirecting those dollars to other women’s health clinics and organizations that aren’t languishing under an ethical cloud amid credible allegations of criminality.  (When poll question wording includes the important point that no women’s health funding is actually being cut, a majority of Americans support the move).  A recent undercover journalistic investigation exposed the abortion giant’s grisly practice of harvesting and selling body parts from late-term fetuses.  The videos show Planned Parenthood officials discussing the profits associated with this endeavor, as well as altering abortion procedures in order to obtain more intact organs — both of which are illegal.  A whistleblower also alleged that aborted children were picked apart and sold without their mother’s consent, another violation of the law.  Separately, Planned Parenthood has come under fire for its active promotion among young people of the notion that an individual’s ‘right’ to sexual pleasure supersedes his or her obligation to inform a partner of an HIV-positive status.  Republicans argue that taxpayers should not subsidize an organization that engages in these horrific abortion-related activities, and that pushes breathtakingly dangerous sexual ethics.

On Obamacare, the GOP says it is keeping its word to voters and fighting on behalf of the majority of Americans who continue to oppose the failing law.  A recent Gallup survey showed that uninsured Americans — who still number in the tens of millions — are most likely to disapprove of the so-called “Affordable” Care Act, largely because they can’t afford it.  The law has broken most of the biggest promises upon which it was sold, is actively harming real people, and is hurting the US economy, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office — which has also just concluded that repealing the law would substantially reduce deficits:

The New York Times reported this week that many Americans have run the math and determined that paying Obamacare’s individual mandate tax is more affordable than paying through the nose for costly coverage that doesn’t even kick in until after consumers fork over thousands in out-of-pocket costs. Meanwhile, a recent survey finds that more than one-quarter of American households have struggled to pay medical bills over the past 12 months, several years into the full implementation of the “Affordable” Care Act.  Among this group, a majority was insured:

For the umpteenth time, coverage does not equal care — and being insured to does not mean your healthcare-related financial hardships disappear.  Indeed, under Obamacare, expensive compulsory coverage may very well exacerbate affordability woes.  Parting thought: Of the many worthy provisions in the soon-to-be-vetoed repeal legislation (exhibit A in the case for electing a Republican president), only one element will actually be the law of the land in 2016.  One of the bright spots of December’s ugly omnibus spending bill was an extension of the 2015 rollback of funding Obamacare bailout-style programs, which were designed to hide the true costs of the law for several years by defraying insurer losses with huge sums of taxpayer money.  This successful push to protect taxpayers and force policy transparency, spearheaded by Marco Rubio, constitutes a rare Obamacare win for conservatives.

But we have to start somewhere. King Obama will not relent on his Agenda one bit. He’s incapable of that.

So we have to force him to defend his Royal Majesty until we get someone that isn’t King Bernie or Queen Hillary.

Then maybe the American People have a chance. Maybe.

Guilty of Being White

You shoot up an Army post and shout “allah Ackbar” it’s “workplace violence”.

A White cop defends himself against a black suspect. The cops a racist.

But….

Sara Mutschlechner. a twenty year old white female college student was shot in the head and killed New Year’s morning in Denton, Texas. She was driving three friends home from a party. A car with five or six black males pulled up next to her and made undisclosed statements. Then one of them shot Sara in the head. She was a student at the University of North Texas.

The Dallas Morning News downplayed the murder as “road rage.” The most likely chain of events probably involved unwanted sexual catcalling and a negative reaction by the women.

She white, who cares. There were a few local news stories no great national outcry for such a senseless act.

Especially as it was gun who killed her (since the Left believes guns kill people not people).

Unfortunately, the killer was black. So even less coverage mentions that on the news!

Phew, good thing the victim was white and the murders were black or this could have been a hate crime. 🙂

“It was an amicable conversation to begin with, but quickly went downhill and some derogatory statements were made toward the female occupants of that vehicle,” the Denton Police spokesman told reporters.

Kizer described those “very derogatory” remarks as being of a “sexual nature,” adding that a male inside Mutschlechner’s vehicle responded by calling them out as offensive.

“Some comments were made back towards him, even a couple of threats were thrown,” the police spokesman said. “About that time, they were driving through the intersection … when several shots were fired.”

DENTON, Texas – U.S. Marshals have arrested an active U.S. Marine for the shooting death of a UNT student on New Year’s Eve.

Eric Jamal Johnson, 20, was taken into custody Tuesday morning in Yuma, Arizona. The U.S. Marines confirmed he is an administration specialist who was reporting for work at the Yuma Air Station when he was arrested on Tuesday.

 

The victim, 20-year-old Sara Mutschlechner, was driving friends home from a New Year’s Eve party when passengers in her car exchanged words with five or six young men in an SUV.

Denton Police Department spokesman Shane Kizer described the exchange as friendly at first. But then he said the men in the SUV started making lewd and inappropriate comments directed toward Mutschlechner and her friend.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a witness said Johnson displayed a handgun and threated to shoot. Shortly afterward, Johnson opened fire on the car and Mutschlechner was struck in the head, causing her to crash into a utility pole.

Kizer said the witnesses in Mutschlechner car recognized some of the men in the SUV from the party. They were able to provide police with descriptions of the suspects.

Investigators talked to several people who attended the party and were able to use photos and posts on social media to come up with the street names of several people believed to be in the SUV.

Many on social media are critical of the coverage, saying that the murder would have generated national attention if the races were reversed.

No gun control narrative here. 🙂

Hate Crime? Black male stabs white six year old to death

Ronald Exantus, 32, of Indianapolis has been charged with stabbing six year old Logan Tipton to death in his own home. The savage murder took place early Monday morning in the small Kentucky town of Versailles.

Exantus is believed to have walked around the house while the family slept. Then he got a butcher knife out of the kitchen, went to the boy’s bedroom, and stabbed in the head for the fun of it.

Exantus is being charged with burglary and murder.

Gunman screams racial slurs and then opens fire on mother and baby

On October 16th, 2015 a black male pulled up alongside Amanda Frey, a white female , in a Bradenton, Florida parking lot. He screamed racial slurs and then fired a gun at her three times. The woman had a one year old baby in the car with her. Bullets tore threw Frey’s car, but none of the occupants were injured.

The perpetrator may have targeted Frey because she has a Confederate flag sticker on her car. For months, major national media outlets and major left-wing organizations have been running a racially charged campaign to demonize all supporters of the Confederate flag.

This attempted double murder took place a month and a half ago and we are just now hearing about it. That is because the story received almost no media coverage at all.

Channel 9, a local station, ran a lone article on it. In their article they censor the race of the shooter, even though the media outlet states that the shooter has been identified. Channel 9 also uses insults the victim by suggesting her Confederate sticker “provoked” the attack.

Meanwhile the national media has made major news stories out of white people simply displaying a Confederate flag in public.

Patience is a Virtue Lost

Derke Hunter: There’s a reason liberals have been so successful in advancing their agenda in the past few decades. It’s not just electoral victories – they’ve played a part, and it’s easier to make things happen if you win elections. But the main factor in their victories is one thing we conservatives are losing sight of: patience. 

ObamaCare took 90 years and they still want more but are patient.

Political Correctness took 2 generations to condition stupid people to be even stupider.

Socialism is good took generations of indoctrination.

Global Warming has been going on for nearly 100 years.

Liberals are very patient for the long game.

In the time of Twitter breaking news, Tinder, microwaves, On Demand, etc., patience is as dead as detectives wearing Fedoras and calling people “Mac.” But it’s key in politics, and conservatives have forgotten that.

Ronald Reagan – the real man, not the myth created with his name – understood the importance of patience. He almost won the GOP nomination in 1976 but lost to President Gerald Ford. 

Although Ford was no conservative, Reagan didn’t turn on him. He supported him. When Ford lost, that opened the door to Reagan’s victory four years later. Had Reagan refused to support Ford, or actively criticized Ford and hurt him in the 1976 election, there’s a chance 1980 would’ve turned out differently. 

Even as president, Reagan understood the importance of patience. His victories in dealing with Congress and the Soviet Union (not much of a difference there, in many respects) didn’t come immediately. Incrementalism was a key weapon – you take what you can get and keep fighting for the rest. What Reagan didn’t do was throw up his hands when he didn’t get all he wanted, leaving small victories on the table because total victory wasn’t, at that moment, obtainable. 

 

Far too many conservatives have forgotten that political victories take time, even if the loss they’re trying to reverse is still fresh. 

Libertarians are famously inpatient. It’s why, outside of a few court victories, they are mostly irrelevant. I take no pleasure in saying this; the country would be much better off if we were significantly more libertarian. But when there’s a political fight to be had, they sit on the sidelines criticizing both sides rather than putting their weight behind the side moving the ball in the direction they want to go.

The purity of libertarians is to be admired, at least in the sense of ideals. The practical implementation of purity as a guide for conducting politics is not. Far too many oppose actions which would move the country in the direction they want because it doesn’t go far enough. They want it all, and they want it now – and anything short of that is a sell-out. 

Many conservatives have adopted this attitude. 

Liberals have been successful because they’ve adopted the opposite stance. For generations, liberals have sought to seize control over health care in the United States. They haven’t yet, but every move they’re made on health care has pushed them closer to that goal. 

Medicare covers the elderly and disabled; Medicaid covers the poor. Liberals have been fighting to lower the age of Medicare eligibility for decades, but they’ve, thankfully, been blocked. They’ve also been fighting to raise the income eligibility for Medicaid for decades, and they’ve been winning. This left a shrinking middle uncovered by government insurance. Obamacare is changing that.

For all the problems with Obamacare, it’s serving its purpose of crowding out private coverage. It was never designed to be the endgame; it’s an increment. It moves the country closer to a government takeover of health care. That was its purpose; that is their plan. And they waited decades for it.

Conservatives, on the other hand, don’t have that kind of patience. With every new electoral victory, they expect some massive shift in the country immediately, if not sooner.

Sadly, much of liberalism is engrained in our laws, our courts and our culture, so it will take time to uncouple it. 

 

Real conservatives are a small percentage of the Republican Party and Republicans in Congress. Yet many conservatives, particularly in media, think each electoral victory immediately should bring about massive conservative change. When that doesn’t happen, they attack with a ferocity they don’t reserve even for liberals. 

No single election is going to turn the tide back toward constitutionally limited government; no one person elected to office will be as pure as the wind-driven snow in their conservatism. It’s going to be a long slog; there are going to be losses. Losing a battle does not constitute losing a war. But quitting does.

There never will be a “silver bullet” election or candidate; that’s impossible. Many times you have to stop getting worse before you start getting better.

In addition to electoral victories, the courts have to change – that will take time. The culture of dependency has to change – that will take time. 

For all their shunning of Christianity, Democrats have the patience of Job when it comes to their agenda. Republicans, on the other hand, are Veruca Salt. They want a Golden Goose and they want it NOW! 

Veruca ended up going down the garbage chute. If conservatives don’t regain some strategic patience, they’ll suffer the same fate. And the country won’t be far behind…

The Best and Worst of 2015

Derek Hunter: As far as years go, 2015 certainly was one of them. The news was not wanting for content, and we columnists were not wanting for material. It was a year of tragedies and triumphs bookended by terrorist attacks in Paris. A reality TV star became the leading candidate of a major political party, “Star Wars” returned, and I got married. Yep, 2015 was quite a year.

I had a health scare that resulted in a pacemaker and a different view on mortality just months after my Dad died.

Not the best of times by far.

Politics:

The Best

Donald Trump. For all his problems, and they are legion, and the bluster, and it is constant, he’s done more than anyone in recent years to get people to pay attention to politics and just how corrupt the media and the Democrats have become. He’s been battering the media since the start, slamming his opponents since and changing how politics is done.

While, I’m still not a full on Trump guy I do like that he makes the Left and the RINOs crazy and just doesn’t give a damn. That really shakes them up.

Trump has been holding a clinic on how to run against Democrats and the media since his announcement. Aside from momentary flashes, none of the rest of the field appears to have learned a thing.

Because they are all stuck in their ways. They can’t see doing it any other way. Especially, Democrats, they have one playbook and they go to it every nanosecond of every day.

Expect all out nuclear war again on the Republicans. No atom will be lest un-nuked, no ethic or moral will not be cr0ssed in the quest for the Coronation of King Barack’s successor Queen Hillary.

The Republican RINOs are just plain lost.

If Trump is the nominee, Democrats may well win, but they will have been so battered and bruised they’d be hard-pressed to govern with any effectiveness. If he isn’t the nominee, whoever is will have learned how to be locked in a box with a rabid spider monkey and survive. The eventual nominee, whoever it ends up being, will be a much more devastating candidate thanks to Trump’s entry into the race.

The Media is still setting up the Coronation of Queen Hillary I like they have for 4 years now. I doubt they are going to change.

But maybe, just maybe, the sleeping stupid will recognize it for what it is.

That,and just maybe, the Republicans will actually run a campaign to WIN this time. Maybe.

 

The Worst

As awful as she is, Hillary Clinton is not the worst person on the national political stage. Until he leaves office, Barack Obama’s head wears the crown.

In a post-9/11, post-Paris, post-San Bernardino world, the president of the United States managed to go 12 months in which he used the words “radical Islamic terrorism” only to chastise others for saying them.

Well, you’re talking about his friends and mentors, the Muslims. They can’t be evil. That’s like Lule finding out Darth Vader is his Father…. 🙂

The economy continues to falter, our enemies are on the march, and the president has improved his short-game. The Obama presidency is a hilarious joke, but sadly it’s not the funny kind of joke.

But the Democrats continue to self-delude themselves that everything is awesome and we just need to get rid of those naybobs negativity.

One more year…

11 Months+ a few days. Don’t make it any longer than it has to be. Though if Queen Hillary wins we’re all doomed and you might as well close up shop and move to Fiji because it’s over.

Lie Of The Year

The “winner” of this category is obvious, which is why it hasn’t won any of these “awards” from the mainstream media: Hillary Clinton’s ever-evolving claims about classified material on her secret, unsecured email server.

Though I think her saying that the Benghazi families who have been ripping her for years about her You Tube cause of the incident are now lying because she never said it was pretty close.

“What Difference Does it Make?”

Her original statement at her press conference at the UN, was, “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.” High-stakes divorce settlements are less carefully worded.

Note how she specifically said she didn’t send any classified material, and how there “is” nothing classified on her server. She’d wiped it by then, though not thoroughly, so, in using present tense, she was telling her version of the truth.

After that original statement, Hillary’s story “evolved” at least two more times to she never “sent or received anything marked classified at the time.”

After that lie the media lost interest. Why wouldn’t they? Their candidate is ensnared in an FBI investigation that, were it anyone else, already would have led to an indictment and hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees by now.

But we aren’t named Clinton; we haven’t been selling, or at least renting, our positions for sums of money that rival the worth of third-world economies, and a president of her party still controls the prosecutors.

No, we’re civilians, bound by truth, and she’s Hillary, utterly unburdened by such trivialities.

As we wind up 2015, I think we’ve dwelled enough on politics. So a few notes on a couple of other things.

Sports

The year started with a great Super Bowl. What a game! But it will be remembered as the game that gave us Deflategate. Tom Brady won – everything. He continues to live a charmed life, and good for him. Unless you bet against him.

And the Seahawks created a blunder for the ages that will be talked about until Liberals outlaw football altogether sometime later in the Century.

 

The Super Bowl was the highlight of the year for New England sports fans, but the rest of the world had to suffer until the World Series. After decades of miserable losing, New England (particularly in Boston) started winning. And their fans, both in baseball and football, became even more miserable to be around during a game. And I say that as someone with many friends who fit this description.

But the highlight of the year was the World Series.

The Kansas City Royals are a lot of fun to watch. They scrap and scrape together runs in a way no other team does.

Arizona Cardinals anyone? Anyone?? 🙂

Movies

I love “Star Wars,” saw it three times the weekend it opened. But it doesn’t win for movie of the year with me. There were a lot of great “art house” movies, and I’m sure one with $48 in box office receipts will win the Oscar. But “The Martian” was the most enjoyable movie of 2015. If you haven’t seen it yet, do yourself a favor. Even if you don’t care for Matt Damon (and I wouldn’t blame you), you’ll enjoy this movie.

I love “Star Wars” but I still think either Jurassic World or Avengers 2. I never saw “The Martian”.

Television

“The Walking Dead” remains TV’s best drama.

DOCTOR WHO! 🙂

The zombie aspect might turn your off, but it’s much more than that. Moreover, it’s a show that generates true suspense, in which no one knows what’s going to happen from week to week and no character, no matter who they are, is safe.

If you’re a comic book nerd, or if you don’t mind super hero movies, might I also suggest checking out “Jessica Jones” on Netflix. It’s a surprisingly good series with humor, action and a great anti-hero. And, unlike “The Walking Dead,” you can binge-watch it over a weekend.

Haven’t got around to it yet. And that shows you how technology has changed so much.

I’m not sad to see 2015 go, though it does seem like it went fast. With 2016 being an election year, it will fly by as well. While I work and play in the first half of this column, life happens in the rest. Hope you had a great 2015, and I hope you have as much fun as possible in 2016. 

Here’s to 2016. The Hope of the future of our Country rests on your shoulders.

You Just Might Be A Liberal…

Film legend George Lucas has appealed to Star Wars fans to keep their lightsabers and blasters holstered in order not to cause alarm following the Paris terror attacks.

“We’re fine with that, it’s probably a good idea given what happened in France.”

Mr Walker added that the cinemas are asking people not to bring replica weapons but his group have found a way to get around that.

He added: “We’ll be at the Odeon for the premier and we’re putting yellow tape round the handles of our weapons.

“That’s so everyone can see we’re part of the group and we can still take our blasters and our lightsabers without scaring people. (UK Telegraph)

SERIOUSLY??  I just have no words tpo describe the idiocy and the over-reaction. It’s beyond me.

Violence fears among Star Wars theater owners may have reached a new level. 

The country’s eighth largest theater chain, Bow Tie, has decided to ban fans from wearing face paint to screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. (Presumably regular cosmetic make-up is okay). 

That’s in addition to banishing masks, capes, cloaks, blasters and other “simulated weapons” at its 59 locations. 

The chain is also specifically outlawing toy lightsabers, even though they would be pretty tough to mistake for a real weapon.

In its newly issued guidelines to give fans a heads up on what’s permitted, however, Bow Tie did note that attendees can otherwise wear a costume. 

Major chain AMC issued a less restrictive policy, yet is still clamping down on anybody who might want to come dressed as a Stormtrooper: “AMC does not permit weapons or items that would make other guests feel uncomfortable or detract from the movie-going experience. Guests are welcome to come dressed in costume, but we do not permit masks. In short, bring your lightsaber, turn it off during the movie, and leave the blaster and Darth Vader mask at home.”  

At least one chain told us they’ll let customers wear whatever they want, but are also, perhaps wisely, not looking to publicize their lenient stance.

Yeah, that would be bad. 🙂

“Star Wars” fans planning to see the premiere of “The Force Awakens” at Cinemark theaters will have to leave their clone trooper masks and light sabers at home.

The movie theater chain will implement a dress code at its theaters for the “Star Wars” premiere amid security concerns following recent deadly movie theater shooting incidents across the country. 

Cinemark’s tickets for the highly anticipated film include fine print on the bottom that reads, “no face coverings, face paint, or simulated weapons — including light sabers —will be allowed in the buildings,” CBS’s Los Angeles affiliate reported. (WT)

“You’re in a dark space. … you don’t know what their intentions are. You don’t know if they’re concealing weapons. You want to be able to identify people in the heat of the moment,” Chris Kapica told CBS.

I saved the best for last.

Then there’s MSDNC, the Home of The Ministry of Truth…

On her eponymously named Sunday morning show, MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry went into a mini-rant about racism in Star Wars as she complained about villain Darth Vader being “totally a black guy” when he was “cutting off white men’s hands” who did not “claim his son,” but then became a white man after he “claims his son and goes over to the good.”

During a segment about the upcoming The Force Awakens sequel, after a discussion about Princess Leia’s slave girl costume from the 1980s at 11:44 a.m., the MSNBC host admitted to having mixed feelings about the popular movie series:

I know why I have feelings — good, bad, and otherwise — about Star Wars. And I have a lot. I could spend the whole day talking about the whole Darth Vader situation.

After panel member Wesley Morris of the New York Times wondered, “Really? You could?” Harris-Perry took issue with a black actor voicing the iconic evil character rather than rejoicing at James Earl Jones getting such a high-profile career opportunity as she elaborated:

Yeah, like, the part where he was totally a black guy whose name basically was James Earl Jones, who, and we were all, but while he was black, he was terrible and bad and awful and used to cut off white men’s hands, and didn’t, you know, actually claim his son.

As if it would have made sense for an obviously white leading character to have had a father who was not white, she then griped:

But as soon as he claims his son and goes over to the good, he takes off his mask and he is white. Yes, I have many, many feelings about that, but I will try to put them over here.

Star Wars can be a little confusing, especially on the weak minded as Obi-Wan would say.  Anakin, who is Darth Vader, was white before, during, and after his death.  We see him as a child, an adult, and even in spirit form where he is and always was a white guy.

I can only imagine the impact that these comments would have on a young African-American child seeing Star Wars for the first time.

If there is a notion that George Lucas intentionally tried to infuse some racism into the Star Wars plot, then he did a horrible job because two of the coolest characters in the series are black men, Lando Calrissian and Mace Windu.

‘Ensure Your Holiday Party Is Not a Christmas Party in Disguise,’ University’s Holiday Guide Warns

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Office of Diversity and Inclusion has come up with a list of “best practices” in order to ensure your “inclusive” workplace holiday party is “not a Christmas party in disguise” and that it refrains from being perceived as “endorsing religion generally.”

The “Best Practices for Inclusive Holiday Celebrations in the Workplace” holiday resource guide states that the public university “does not have an official policy regarding religious and cultural décor and celebration in the workplace,” however, “we are fully committed to a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive environment.”

In order to “ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise,” the Office of Diversity and Inclusion has come up with a list of ways for supervisors to encourage individuals to celebrate their own religions and cultures without allegedly excluding anyone or even being seen as “endorsing religion”:

• Holiday parties and celebrations should celebrate and build upon workplace relationships and team morale with no emphasis on religion or culture. Ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise.
• Consider having a New Year’s party and include décor and food from multiple religions and cultures. Use it as an opportunity to reinvigorate individuals for the New Year’s goals and priorities.
• Supervisors and managers should not—as well as, not be perceived as—endorsing religion generally or a specific religion.
• If an individual chooses not to participate in a holiday party or celebration, do not pressure the person to participate. Participation should be voluntary.
• If a potluck-style party or celebration is planned, encourage employees to bring food items that reflect their personal religions, cultures, and celebrations. Use this as an opportunity for individuals to share what they brought and why it is meaningful to them.
• If sending holiday cards to campus and community partners, send a non-denominational card or token of your gratitude.
• Holiday parties and celebrations should not play games with religious and cultural themes. For example, “Dreidel” or “Secret Santa.” If you want to exchange gifts, then refer to it in a general way, such as a practical joke gift exchange or secret gift exchange.
• Décor selection should be general, not specific to any religion or culture. Identify specific dates when décor can be put up and when it must come down.
• Refreshment selection should be general, not specific to any religion or culture.
• Most importantly, celebrate your religious and cultural holidays in ways that are respectful and inclusive of our students, your colleagues, and our university.

Although the theme of the guide seems to be ensuring that supervisors are not accused of endorsing any particular religion or even “endorsing religion generally,” some of the suggestions—such as telling employees to bring in religious refreshments and asking for an explanation of their religious significance and including decor from “multiple religions”—are generally considered endorsing the idea of religion.

At the same time, putting up decor from “multiple religions” and asking employees to bring in religious food contradicts the idea that refreshments and food should be “general, not specific to any religion or culture.”

It is not clear whether the suggestion for decor from “multiple religious” and asking employees to bring in religious food means Christians cannot include decor and food related to Christmas or whether that goes against the “Christmas party in disguise” rule.

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Office of Diversity and Inclusion recently hit headlines for its “gender-neutral pronoun guide.”

You will Be Lynched

The day after a horrific shooting spree by what appears to be a radicalized Muslim man and his partner in San Bernardino, California, Attorney General Loretta Lynch pledged to a Muslim advocacy and lobbying group that she would take aggressive action against anyone who used “anti-Muslim rhetoric” that “edges toward violence.”

Yeah, the violence that killed 14 people is politically correct violence so don’t you dare react negatively to it, you Islamophobe!

Speaking to the audience at the Muslim Advocates’ 10th anniversary dinner Thursday, Lynch said her “greatest fear” is the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric” in America and vowed to prosecute any guilty of what she deemed violence-inspiring speech.

“The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence,” she said.

“Now obviously this is a country that is based on free speech, but when it edges towards violence, when we see the potential for someone lifting that mantle of anti-Muslim rhetoric—or, as we saw after 9/11, violence directed at individuals who may not even be Muslims but perceived to be Muslims, and they will suffer just as much—when we see that we will take action,” said Lynch.

After touting the numbers of “investigations into acts of anti-Muslim hatred” and “bigoted actions” against Muslims launched by her DOJ, Lynch suggested the Constitution does not protect “actions predicated on violent talk” and pledged to prosecute those responsible for such actions.

“I think it’s important that as we again talk about the importance of free speech we make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not America,” said Lynch. “They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted.”

Assuring the pro-Muslim group that “we stand with you,” Lynch said she would use her Justice Department to protect Muslims from “violence” and discrimination.

“My message not just to the Muslim community but to all Americans is ‘We cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on,'” said Lynch.

It is painfully clear that, like her predecessor Eric Holder, Lynch is far more concerned with promoting the social justice agenda than protecting the Constitutional rights of American citizens. What exactly is speech that “edges toward violence”? What exactly are “actions predicated on violent talk”? In the end, it is whatever she decides it to mean.

UPDATE: Loretta Lynch, at a press conference yesterday, termed the San Bernardino shootings a “wonderful opportunity” to change the nature of police work:

    We’re at the point where these issues have come together really like never before in law enforcement thought and in our nation’s history and it gives us a wonderful opportunity and a wonderful moment to really make significant change. (Daily Wire)

NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE!!

The NYDN (New York Daily News) struck again on Thursday, blaring that the NRA was enabling domestic terrorism. Never let a crisis go to waste, right? What better way to garner wall to wall media coverage than to implicate the left’s favorite punching bag. Katie has already detailed the NYDN’s attempt to lump in the NRA with terrorists. To those who make these despicable claims, your right to defend yourself is really just a masked effort to arm radical Islamists.

This kind of reaction is standard procedure now. President Obama’s response to the Paris terrorist attacks was to point his finger across the political aisle and declare that Republicans, his fellow citizens, were actually helping ISIS recruit more fighters. No change in strategy. No call to unite the country. And while the American people strongly reject his refugee plan, the President directs his party and his liberal allies in the media to ignore the real enemy of the American people. Our President took the moment to accuse fellow law-abiding citizens of aiding the murderous caliphate that has prospered under his leadership, or lack thereof.

Oh, and don’t even think about mentioning the radical Islamist ideology that just fueled a terrorist attack on our soil. That would be Islamophobic

Disagree with the left, and you’re picking the side of the terrorists. This is really what they’re boiling it down to. But if that’s all they’ve got, at least they’re consistent.

That about sums up the Democrats and Liberals response to 2 Arabs shooting up a Social Center.

Authorities identified one of the suspects as Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, an environmental health specialist at the San Bernardino County Health Department.  Late Wednesday night, police identified the second suspect as Tashfeen Malik, 27.

Both we killed in a Police shoot out.

I suppose that was the Police’s fault. They were being Islamophobic. 🙂

It must be “workplace violence”. (which it could be…)

The Los Angeles Times reported that Farook attended a San Bernardino County Department of Health holiday event at the Inland Regional Center, and that he got into a fight with someone before returning with two accomplices to shoot up the place.

He Was An American Citizen. The media were quick to point this out, though they did not state whether he was born in the United States or naturalized here. He graduated in 2003 from La Sierra High School and studied finance at California State University Fullerton until 2013.

He Was A Religious Muslim. According to his father, he was “very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back. He’s Muslim.” A neighbor said, “He was quiet but always polite. Maybe two years ago he became more religious. He grew a beard and started to wear religious clothing. The long shirt that’s like a dress and the cap on his head.”

Farook Worked For The Government. He was a business taxes representative for the California State Board of Equalization. His father told The New York Daily News that his son “inspected restaurants and hotels for health violations, and was married with a child,” according to The Washington Times.

Early on they even tried to float that there was a Planned Parenthood 2 blocks away so this was another attack on THEM.

The Ministry Awakens

The DOJ announced it will appoint a “domestic terrorism counsel” to focus on who the Obama administration and the controversial Southern Poverty Law Center considers “extremists.”

“Looking back over the past few years, it is clear that domestic terrorists and homegrown violent extremists remain a real and present danger to the United States,” the DOJ’s John Carlin said on Wednesday.

Just not Iran, Russia, China, Muslims, or Illegal Aliens… 🙂

Assistant Attorney General John Carlin, who oversees national security at the Justice Department, announced the new position — the Domestic Terrorism Counsel — following a number of violent attacks or plots against the U.S. that he said were motivated by “anti-government views, racism, bigotry and anarchy, and other despicable beliefs.”

In other words, off-AGENDA.

“Homegrown violent extremists can be motivated by any viewpoint on the full spectrum of hate — anti-government views, racism, bigotry, anarchy and other despicable beliefs,” he said. “When it comes to hate and intolerance, no single ideology governs.”

Except the Progressive Liberal Ideology, that is…

Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center said the same social media outreach used by ISIS has proven effective for domestic terrorists.

“We’ve seen lone actor attacks about every 33 days, mostly white supremacist or anti-government extremists,” she said.

Not strictly true, but since when did Liberal care about facts? 🙂

But the Justice Dept. and the Department of Homeland Security previously characterized libertarians, conservatives and constitutionalists as militia-inspired “domestic extremists.”

“Militia members most commonly associated with third-party political groups,” a 2009 Missouri Information Analysis Center report stated. “It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty or libertarian material.”

“These members are usually supporters of former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr.”

Even more concerning, the MIAC report encouraged law enforcement to scrutinize Americans who oppose abortion, illegal immigration and the rapid growth of the government, all of which are views shared by a plurality of Donald Trump supporters.

“The MIAC report is particularly pernicious because it indoctrinates Missouri law enforcement in the belief that people who oppose confiscatory taxation, believe in the well-documented existence of a New World Order and world government (a Google search of this phrase will pull up numerous references made by scores of establishment political leaders), and are opposed to the obvious expansion of the federal government at the expense of the states as violent extremists who are gunning for the police,” Kurt Nimmo pointed out. “It specifically targets supporters of mainstream political candidates and encourages police officers to consider them dangerous terrorists.”

The report was compiled with input from the leftist SPLC which routinely smears well-known libertarian and conservative organizations by falsely conflating them with racist, extremist groups.

“The SPLC, the well-heeled propaganda machine that smears conservatives for cash, is an integral part of the ongoing leftist effort to demonize and destroy legitimate conservative voices,” journalist Robert Spencer wrote, adding, “The SPLC turns a blind eye to the real hate that comes from the left and Islamic supremacists, and offers with its hate group listings not only an incitement to violence, but a handy tool that lazy, leftist mainstream media journalists use to try to intimidate people away from supporting … human rights.”

It’s been reported that the SPLC has made over $150 million in the past 20 years from advising law enforcement on conservative and libertarian “extremism.”

Local law enforcement officials have used SPLC reports to “justify” the deployment of former military equipment such as grenade launchers and MRAPs for domestic police use.

“I mean, we’ve got a lot of constitutionalists and a lot of people that stockpile weapons, lots of ammunition,” a Washington state sheriff’s deputy proclaimed when asked why his department used a MRAP.

And last week, a Georgia grand jury formally charged 15 Confederate flag supporters on terror charges.

“Douglas County District Attorney Brian Fortner said members of the ‘Respect the Flag’ group violated the state’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and made terroristic threats when their caravan of vehicles bearing the rebel flag drove past a neighborhood party,” Fox News reported.

Similarly, the Justice Dept. has been pressuring banks to refuse service to businesses the DOJ is targeting politically, such as gun stores, in a program entitled Operation Choke Point.

Under the program, the DOJ is attempting to shut down various legal businesses, including firearm dealers, dating services, purveyors of drug paraphernalia and pornography distributors, by coercing financial institutions to close the bank and merchant accounts associated with these businesses.

And back in April the National Guard performed “civil unrest” drills in Richmond, Calif., which featured role players screaming right-wing rhetoric.

“Why in the course of a drill for a dirty bomb, would an actor claim to be a sovereign citizen?” Keith Johnson asked, who filmed the footage. “The San Francisco Bay Area is not known for its sovereign citizen militia population and hearing this shouted during a mock terrorist scenario was disturbing.”

Say was that a knock at my door? 🙂

In response to the latest mass shooting during his presidency, President Obama is seriously considering circumventing Congress with his executive authority and imposing new background-check requirements for buyers who purchase weapons from high-volume gun dealers.

Which means he has already done so, he’s just waiting for the idle crisis tailwind to spring on you.

HE IS KING AFTER ALL IS HE NOT!

Under the proposed rule change, dealers who exceed a certain number of sales each year would be required to obtain a license from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and perform background checks on potential buyers.

As the president heads to Roseburg, Ore., on Friday to comfort the survivors and families of those killed in last week’s mass shooting at Umpqua Community College, the political calculus around his most vexing domestic policy issue is shifting once again.

After the Dec. 14, 2012, shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., claimed the lives of 20 students and six staff members, Obama asked Vice President Biden to devise a list of policy proposals in response, and on Jan. 26, 2013, the president announced 23 executive actions ranging from restarting federal research into the causes of gun violence to providing parity for mental health coverage under private insurance plans. He pushed for legislation mandating universal background checks on gun sales, an effort that failed in the Senate in April 2013. In August that year, Obama closed two gun-sale loopholes through executive authority, subjecting gun purchases by corporations and trusts to background checks and banning almost all re-imports of military surplus firearms to private entities.

In the wake of last week’s tragedy, Obama said he had asked his team “to scrub what kinds of authorities do we have to enforce the laws that we have in place more effectively to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.”

“We are hopeful we can find a way to do this,” said one senior administration official, who noted that lawyers were still working through details to ensure that the rule could pass legal muster. “It’s a lot more clear today than it was a year ago how to work this out.”

Nine days before a shooter opened fire on the Umpqua Community College campus, former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) and her husband, Mark Kelly, were at the White House to reiterate a long-standing request that those private dealers who sell a sizable number of guns conduct background checks on buyers. The proposed rule change would clarify what it means to be “engaged in the business” of selling firearms.

In a meeting with Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, Giffords and Kelly, who became gun-control activists after Giffords was seriously wounded in a mass shooting in 2011, were pushing for a regulatory change that administration officials considered — but then shelved — nearly two years ago.

The proposed executive action aims to impose background checks on individuals who buy from dealers who sell a significant number of guns each year. The current federal statute dictates that those who are “engaged in the business” of dealing firearms need to obtain a federal license — and, therefore, conduct background checks — but exempts anyone “who makes occasional sales, exchanges, or purchases of firearms for the enhancement of a personal collection or for a hobby, or who sells all or part of his personal collection of firearms.”

White House officials drafted the proposal in late 2013 to apply to those dealers who sell at least 50 guns annually, after Congress had rejected legislation that would have expanded background checks more broadly to private sellers. While the White House Office of Legal Counsel and then-Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. initially concluded the regulation was legally defensible, according to several individuals involved in the discussions, some federal lawyers remained concerned that setting an arbitrary numerical threshold could leave the rule vulnerable to a challenge.

ATF officials, moreover, objected that it would be hard to enforce and that it was unclear how many sellers would be affected by the change. “Everyone realized it would be hugely politically controversial,” said one individual, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private discussions.

On Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton listed the idea of changing the definition of who qualifies as a gun dealer as one of her top proposals to address gun violence.

The aides to Biden who worked most intently on the background-checks proposal in 2013 have since left the administration, but it has resurfaced periodically: Obama discussed the idea with Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch during a July 9 Oval Office meeting, aides said, three weeks after nine African American parishioners were gunned down in Charleston, S.C. Now, according to administration officials, a group of West Wing staffers are working in concert on this and other possible executive actions.

Pia Carusone, a senior adviser at Americans for Responsible Solutions, the group Giffords and Kelly founded, declined to discuss details surrounding private White House meetings.

“Over the last few years, Gabby, Mark and ARS staff have met with various administration officials to discuss how we can work together to address America’s gun violence problem,” Carusone said by e-mail. “Many potential solutions have been discussed in conversations that have included the president, vice president and their teams.”

Arkadi Gerney, senior vice president at the liberal think tank Center for American Progress, said tightening the definition of who is “engaged in the business” of selling guns “is a meaningful but modest step towards the goal of ensuring that all gun sales involve a background check.”

National Rifle Association spokeswoman Jennifer Baker, by contrast, said any change was unnecessary and could “ensnare” people not intended to be covered by the law, such as a widow selling off her late husband’s gun collection. “People who repeatedly sell large volumes of firearms are already covered in the current statute because they are already defined as ‘engaged in the business,’ ” she said.

Some activists, including those from the faith and community organizing group Metro Industrial Areas Foundation say Obama could be much bolder with his executive authority. On Thursday, the group, which is pushing the president to leverage the federal government’s purchasing power with gun manufacturers, held a rally in Lafayette Square to demand Obama call in industry leaders and insist that they develop safer technology and crack down on the stores that sell a disproportionate number of guns used in crimes.

“We have traveled here from across the nation to challenge you to stop whining about the power you don’t have, and start acting with the power you do have,” said Bishop Douglas Miles, who is on the group’s leadership team and serves as pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church in Baltimore.

Last week, Obama said that “this is something we should politicize” and that every American had “to for a while, be a single-issue voter” when it came to tightening the nation’s gun laws.

Gun-control activists have made significant political headway on the state level since the Newtown shooting. In the past year, they prevailed on background check fights in Washington state and Oregon; laws to carry concealed weapons without a permit were enacted in three states but defeated in 15. According to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, 55 percent of gun laws enacted so far this year loosened restrictions rather than tightened them, and many were quite minor. In 2012, by contrast, 72 percent of all enacted gun laws loosened restrictions.

“The gun lobby has done a very good job of tying up Washington, D.C.,” said John Feinblatt, president of the advocacy group Everytown. “It can’t tie up the people, and cannot, in fact, tie up state legislatures.”

While polling shows between 85 and 92 percent of Americans support expanding background checks, the broader issue of gun rights remains fraught. In Roseburg, where many have chafed at the administration’s gun policies, opinion remains sharply divided over whether Obama should even come to offer his condolences to victims’ families.

“Half the people in Roseburg say it’s wonderful, the other half say he shouldn’t show up,” said Earl Skonberg, a local gun owner who engages in sport shooting. (WP)

President Obama: “Well this is something we should politicize. This is a political choice that we make. To allow this to happen every few months in America.”

David Jacques, the publisher of the local paper in Roseburg, Oregon, where the mass shooting took place, said President Obama would not be welcome in their town.

He doesn’t care. This is Agenda Politics. The Agenda is the Agenda. Period. He could care less about the victims and the families. This about the Gun Control/Confiscation Agenda.

And when he comes to town he won’t be a “gun Free Zone” now will he? 🙂

And so he said, in that speech, that ‘people are going to accuse me of politicizing this event and frankly, it needs politicizing.’ So I think, he admitted it himself. So his visit here isn’t a re-election campaign stop, but it is a campaign stop nonetheless for an agenda that he and his associates believe is important. And that is to take away Americans’ right to own firearms.

I think that’s very inappropriate and I think it’s disrespectful to the families. The fact is, the president has no connection with this community. He has no connection with any of the families. And he made it abundantly clear, Lee, in his opening press statement just – we haven’t even identified bodies. We’ve still got Incident Command trying to contain the scene and he’s holding a press conference 3,000 miles from here telling us that he, almost implying that he single-handedly could have prevented this if the Congress would have listened to him.

And it shows, not only a total disdain and disregard for our Constitution, but our very citizens. And especially those of us right here in Douglas Country. We believe in the Second Amendment. We believe in the whole Constitution.

After spending zero time on gun control during his reelection bid, President Obama made it a top priority of his second term.

But a year after, a Pew Research Center survey found that attitudes were little changed from before the Newton killings. Obama’s plans had fizzled.

And now, a long-term Roper survey finds that public support for gun control laws is lower than it was in 1989, when 65% backed stricter laws. In fact, more now oppose stricter laws than support them.

Writing in the New York Times this week, University of Tennessee law professor and Instapundit blogger Glenn Reynolds tried to explain what, to gun control advocates, appears to be an irrational and illogical response to gun violence.

“I believe the reason is that people don’t trust the government to protect them anymore, and, in fact, that they don’t trust the government in general,” he writes. Nor does the public trust politicians who say they only want to keep guns out of the hands of “criminals and crazies,” not confiscate them from law-abiding citizens.

“If you want more gun control,” he concludes, “you need more trust. And if you want more trust, police and politicians must be more trustworthy. Good luck with that!” (IBD)

Especially, since Ferguson the Left has been hammering Cops as untrustworthy and just a bunch of racists.

After all, the Government in control of all the guns can’t be a bad thing, right? 🙂

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Dunkin’ Donuts is apologizing after one of its employees reportedly wrote #blacklivesmatter on a police officer’s coffee cup.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at a Providence, Rhode Island location. According to a Providence police union, the officer was buying a coffee and the employee serving him seemed “somewhat rude and appeared as though they did not want to serve the officer.”

The cop later discovered that the employee wrote “#blacklivesmatter” on the cup.

The store’s manager said his employee was just joking when she reportedly said, “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here,” in front of other customers.

The incident comes after employees at Arby’s and Whataburger refused service to police officers in separate episodes in September.

But when someone WITH A GUN, comes in to their Progressive little sanctuary to rob of kill them who they going to call, Al Sharpton!??

As usual, the Left is two-faced and more interested in the Control Freak/Totalitarian Agendas than actual facts or people.

“The negativity displayed by the #Blacklivesmatter organization towards police across this nation is creating a hostile environment that is not resolving any problems or issues, but making it worse for our communities,” The Executive Board of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #3 said in a statement. “They are doing this by increasing tensions amongst police and the people they serve.”

Michael Brown: When a white supremacist murdered black parishioners in Charleston, SC, there was national outrage leading to the banning of the Confederate Flag and a fresh discussion of race relations in America. But when Christians are targeted and murdered on a campus in Oregon, much of the nation yawns.

Christians are Politically Incorrect. Period. End of Story.

There are unconfirmed reports that several news outlets are trying to make the Oregon shooter more “white” than mix-race, also for The Agenda.

This pesky little fact that Harper-Mercer killed Christians on purpose gets in the way of trying to leverage a good crisis for progressive political gain. That is why we heard more about gun control in the hours after the shooting, than we did about this very integral part of the tragedy.– James Woods

According to eyewitness reports, the Oregon shooter asked students what their religion was, and if they said “Christian” he shot them in the head. Yet the secular media, for the most part, is focusing more on gun laws than on the shooter’s alleged anti-Christian motivation. Why?

Can you imagine what would have happened if the shooter went into a creative arts class, asked the students to declare their sexual orientation, and if they said “gay” shot them in the head?

Oh. god (no pun intended) the Mainstream Media would be on it 24/7 for weeks bashing into sub-atomic particles!

There would be a massive media frenzy, with instant accusations of national homophobia and pulling of quotes from Christian leaders whose failure to support same-sex “marriage” would somehow make them complicit in the deaths.

The Left wouldn’t stop at “The Dukes of Hazzard” in that case.

The same thing would have happened if the killer had targeted Muslims, with immediate charges of “Islamophobia” shouted from coast to coast.

Not so, though, when it’s Christians who are killed for their faith.

Is it any surprise, then, that hours after the eyewitness accounts had been released and well after conservative news outlets were reporting the alleged targeting of Christians, liberal news outlets had not said a word about the alleged anti-Christian connection?

James Woods: We know the shooter’s name, his age, what he looks like, and now even who his specific targets were, who all had one thing in common. Yet, coverage of this front page news story is not speaking to the most important detail of that day, completely omitting it from their reports. When Chris Harper-Mercer walked onto that campus, he asked each person he shot if they were Christian. If they answered affirmatively, standing for their faith, he shot them in the head.

This wasn’t a random massacre, it was a religious attack. But we’re not hearing about that, unlike the focus of the coverage of white boy Dylann Roof, who opened fired on a room filled with black church-goers, and the country was collectively outraged about the racial attack.

And led to absolute hysterics.

Politically outspoken Hollywood right-winger James Woods predicted this media reaction. When news broke about the shooting, he tweeted, “If it is determined that the Oregon shooter targeted Christians specifically, that’s the last we will hear of it on MSM.” Sure enough, as soon as the very important Christian piece of this story was released, proving the motive for killing, the New York Times completely left this fact out, and it could not be a coincidence.

The Agenda is The Agenda and Political Correctness must be adhered to at all costs, especially the truth.

It could well be that the Oregon shooter suffered from a mental illness, which suggests that we can’t read too much into his actions. But why, then, did we read so much into the Charleston shooter’s actions, since he reportedly suffered from a mental illness as well?

The Oregon attack is also one isolated incident, which suggest that we can’t extrapolate too much from it in terms of national sentiments towards Christianity. But why, then, did we extrapolate so much from the Charleston shooting in terms of race issues?

When it comes to the Oregon massacre, we still don’t know all the facts and, at this point, only God knows the motivation of the murderer. But we do know there is a growing national climate of extreme hostility towards Christianity, and from professional news media to popular social media, it is open season on committed followers of Jesus.

It’s one thing to have a civil debate on the meaning of marriage or to disagree on what the Bible teaches on sexuality or to have different perspectives on the best way to address transgender issues.

It’s another thing entirely when your failure to support the redefinition of marriage or your adherence to biblical sexuality or your opposition to gender-neutral bathrooms gets you branded as a sick, vile, bigot worthy of death.

Today, it is not just the Bill Mahers and Dan Savages of the world who are trashing Christianity and vilifying conservative believers. It is not just radical liberal professors on college campuses who continue their aggressive attack on people of faith.

Today, Bible-bashing and Christian-mocking is a favorite pastime on social media, replete with unprintable insults, ugly invective, and death wishes galore. Simply stated, it has become part of the larger pop culture.

True.

Within a 72-hour period last week, at least 6 different people posted death wishes on my Facebook page, some getting into graphic detail (including the person who didn’t know how to spell pancreatic), while scores of others posted comments that were so ugly they were immediately blocked.

At about the same time, a reviewer of my newest book (which, by the way, has an entire chapter calling on Christians to take the highest moral ground and to overcome evil with good and hatred with love) claimed that, “This book is in pure and perfect alignment with the views of white supremacy groups and the KKK.”

Mind you, these are the “diversity” police who are preach “tolerance”. 🙂

Also about this time, someone posted on my Facebook page, “Oh goody another neo Nazi crazy fanatical zealot posting their b****** on my wall.” (Actually, we post things on our page; we didn’t post anything on that person’s wall.)

Of course, this is nothing new for me or other conservative believers, since ridiculous rhetoric like this has been coming our way for years.

The problem is that more and more people actually believe this baseless drivel, and instead of comments like this coming from the most extreme anti-Christian groups and individuals, similar remarks are becoming more and more mainstream.

Well, if you tell a lie often enough, it can become the truth. The Left’s favorite tactic.

In short, we are not just dealing with the incremental criminalization of Christianity in America (to use the words of Janet Folger and Mike Huckabee) but with the demonization of Christianity (and Christians) in America. And while this is hardly the first time in the last 2,000 years that believers have been demonized – far from it – it may well be the first time in American history that hostility to the faith is so vile, mean-spirited and widespread.

At this point, we have no idea whether this hostile climate contributed to the Oregon massacre. But it is certain that words have consequences, that hateful people do hateful things, and that when you declare an ideological war against Christianity, the results could be deadly – literally.

This calls for renewed faith, renewed courage, and renewed boldness.

As we unashamedly confess Jesus’ name here on earth, He will unashamedly confess our names in heaven.

Life or Death: The Liberal Agenda Edition

Life or death was determined by the answer to a single question: are you a Christian?

That was the question asked by an anti-Christian gunman who stormed into a classroom at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College.

Eyewitnesses say the shooter targeted Christians.

Well, at least he was a politically correct nutjob. 🙂 Imagine the outrage from the Liberal Media if he asked them if they “Homosexual or not?” before killing them. Wooo Doggie! It would be on 24/7 for weeks and he would have gotten even more of that fame he craved.

I guess he didn’t quite think his hatred through completely. 🙂

Kortney Moore was inside the classroom. She told the Roseburg News-Review that the shooter ordered students to get on the ground – and then told them to stand up and state their religion.

“And they would stand up and he said, ‘Good, because you’re a Christian, you’re going to see God in just about one second,” Stacy Boylan said in a televised report. “And then he shot and killed them.”

Imagine if it were “Allah” and Islam, the “Islamophobia” headlines would be massive.

His 18-year-old daughter was struck in the back by a bullet – that traveled down her spine. She survived. Miss Moore, too, survived.

Davis Jaques, publisher of the Roseburg Beacon News, said he received a text message from a student who said she was inside the classroom.

“The shooter was lining people up and asking if they were Christians,” the message read. “If they said yes, then they were shot in the head. If they said no or didn’t answer, they were shot in the leg.”

Christians were martyred for their faith — on American soil — a fact mostly ignored by most of the Mainstream Media and the White House.

Well, Christians are evil, oppressive religious psychos who just want to rule a theocracy in this country after all. They are politically incorrect and we aren’t supposed to have sympathy for the Politically Incorrect.

The New York Times only mentioned that the gunman inquired about people’s “religions” and one cable television news channel opined that the shooter’s motive was unclear.

The Agenda Narrative dial on their Thought Police filters was dialed up to “High”.

President Obama’s behavior in the aftermath of the massacre was quite frankly unpresidential. Instead of calling for religious tolerance — he delivered an unhinged tirade on gun control.

“Somebody somewhere will comment and say Obama politicized this issue,” the president said. “Well, this is something we should politicize.”

Never Let a Crisis Go To Waste, especially when it’s that Agenda!

Liberals are delighted when there’s a mass shooting because as Rahm Emanuel famously said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

Of course, they’d deny they feel that way, but before the blood even cools on the floor after a mass shooting, liberals are always working en masse to take advantage of the situation. After the shooting in Oregon, Barack Obama immediately took to the airwaves to declare that, “This is something that should be politicized.“

…and that’s what it is: pure politics because inevitably, nothing liberals ever seem to suggest would make mass shootings happen less frequently. In all fairness, that’s because what liberals really want is total gun confiscation, but taking that position would cement the Democrat Party out of power for a generation.

So, if you ask Democrats what gun control law would prevent mass shootings, they inevitably lock up the same way they do when they’re asked to name a noteworthy accomplishment of Hillary Clinton that would qualify her to be President.

Of course, there are policies that would help prevent these shootings and save lives, but liberals have no interest in discussing the trade-offs any of them would require because it doesn’t further their agenda. Worse yet, they don’t want to take any measures to prevent mass shootings because fewer deaths would undercut their ultimate goal of total gun confiscation.

Given that most shootings (including the latest one) seem to happen in gun-free zones, getting rid of gun-free zones would seem to be a smart first step in stopping these shootings.

After all, people having guns is evil. Only Government should have guns so that they can point them at you and demand you do as you’re told. How dare you want to defy that!

After the shooting in Charleston, people latched onto the fact that the killer took a picture with a Confederate flag and they speculated that might have had something to do with the shooting.

In this case, maybe we should ask whether the incessant hate rhetoric that liberals aim at Christians influenced the killer.

But I reckon it’s politically incorrect to address the persecution of Christians.

Absolutely. If a Gunman runs into a room and kills everyone and yells “Allah Ackbar” repeatedly, it’s “workplace violence” after all.

If a Lesbian orders a Pizza for wedding and they say “no” it’s hatred personified and that story will run for a month non-stop.

But shooting Christians, because they are Christians, is just “gun control”. Nothing more.

That could explain why the White House has expressed less than passionate outrage over the near-genocide of Christians in the Middle East. And that could also explain why his administration has failed to secure the release of an American pastor being tortured in an Iranian jail.

Christians are evil. And the “compassionate” “sensitive” Liberal only cares about those who are with or on approved list for the THE AGENDA and Christians most certainly are on their “Most Evil” naughty list so deserve nothing but their contempt and scorn.

Good riddance to bad politically incorrect rubbish.

In a country where the Boy Scouts are being persecuted out of existence, the Obama administration has gone to court to try to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to violate their beliefs and liberals are sneering at Christians on a regular basis, no one should be surprised that someone responded to all that hate by murdering Christians for their faith.

Except the Leftists themselves. Remember, they are Holier than Thou, even though their sneer on religion, and smarter than you, at least in their own heads.

These days “lambs being led to the slaughter” is not exactly a politically correct narrative.

Unless you’re talking about what Liberals think Conservatives want to do everyone that is.

I cannot even begin to imagine the courage it took for our fellow believers to stand — knowing that to do so — would require the ultimate sacrifice.

The immortal words of the former Obama Chief of Staff rang in my ears as yet another school shooting happened in Oregon and immediately, almost before the bodies hit the ground Obama was out there pushing The Agenda, Gun Control.

Don’t make it about politics, the Left says, then makes it about THEIR politics almost before the bodies are cold.

Sickening.

Some people jumped on “muslims” early on. So the Leftist media jumped on THEM.

We are advised to not judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of lunatics.

Less than six hours after the mass shooting today in Roseburg, Ore., President Obama called a press conference to demand new gun laws, a move he predicted would spur critics to accuse him of politicizing the issue. If they don’t accuse him of that, they might accuse him of making the tragedy about himself. 

During today’s 12-minute address, President Obama referred to himself 28 times. (For those counting at home, that’s almost three times per minute.)

Harper-Mercer wrote in a post this August about how much he admired Vester Flanagan, the Roanoke shooter who killed a cameraman and newscaster at the television station where he had been employed after getting fired. 

On that same profile it also showed that just three days ago Harper-Mercer uploaded This World Surviving Sandy Hook BBC Documentary 2015 for people to watch on the file sharing site.

The Shooter posted: ‘On an interesting note, I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are. A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone,’ wrote Harper-Mercer of Flanagan. 

‘His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight.’

He closed by saying; ‘Also, if anyone gets the chance, go on youtube and see the footage of him shooting those people. It’s a short video but good nonetheless. Will post more later.’ 

So he’s learned his lessons will, the dead Padawan did.

On a Dating site he listed himself as a mixed race Republican. Well, the Leftist will have slobbering Partisan chops fun with this one.

It will be all about the politics, destroying your ‘enemy’ (Republicans) and the Agenda.

Hey GOP establishment, how about, for once, you cause your opponents pain instead your allies? You’ve managed to win back both houses of Congress – by which I mean we conservatives won them back for you – and since then you’ve accomplished exactly nothing. President Fail is handing the mullahs the Bomb, Obamacare remains a thing, and Planned Parenthood is still dismembering babies on our dime. The president has a bully pulpit and you’re satisfied with the legislative branch being a weenie pulpit.

Or being the nerd who gets the wedgie on the playground and then says, “Thank you, Mr President, may I have another!”

But the creaky Boehner and McConnell machine can choose to succeed at something other than failure. It can use the Congress to deal some pain to the left. Sure, that will require guts and a commitment to the conservative cause, but maybe the rise of Donald Trump has scared these squishes enough to fake having them.

Naw, I think they are too committed to be Squishy RINOs afraid of their own political shadows. They talk tough, sometimes, but no action.

Here is some potential legislation that might do some good if enacted, but more importantly, will put the Democrats in both houses in unpleasant, painful positions going into an election year. Yeah, I know, the filibuster…blah blah blah. How about we opt to nuke it before The Lightbringer’s new buddies in Tehran decide to nuke Tel Aviv – and before the grassroots of your party decides to nuke you a year from November?

1. The Second Amendment Protection Act. For years, Democrats in state and local governments have infringed upon the civil rights of Americans by unjustly preventing them from exercising their right to keep and bear arms throughout our great nation as God intended. Anti-gun laws in cryptofascist states and localities have unfairly victimized far too many decent Americans.

You don’t stop being an American protected by the Bill of Rights simply because you set foot into the State of New York. That’s why we need a law that will allow all American citizens the right to exercise their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms, concealed or openly as each citizen chooses, free of the constraints imposed by gunophobic state and local governments. Yeah, there will be some whining about federalism from the Republican bow tie n’ perpetual virginity crowd, but who cares?

2. The National Voter ID and Election Integrity Act. Why can’t the federal government generate a national voting ID card and distribute it free to Americans who can’t manage to find their local DMV? The law, of course, will also require a photo ID for any federal election voter. A huge majority of Americans recognize that asking for ID is no infringement except upon those who want to commit fraud, or who are frankly too damn stupid to be voting anyway.

Ge ready for the all-out nuclear tactic of “racism” though. You have to have ID to do the most mundane things in life, but if you ask an illegal for an ID or any Liberal to vote, it’s “racism!”.

Get over it.

3. The Liberal Donor Class Windfall Profits Tax. It’s time that Democrats’ favored interest groups paid their fair share! After all, those tech guys in Silicon Valley didn’t build that. They got the benefit of California’s fine infrastructure, outstanding schools, and superb business environment [*Struggles to not giggle hysterically*]. How about a 50% tax on their earnings?

Or maybe we could take Hollywood Liberal Actors, especially the one who make millions per picture. Now there’s a healthy tax. 🙂

The same with Hollywood – it’s time for the people who support Obama with lavish fundraisers to raise some funds for working American families! Spielberg, Streisand, all you Kardashians – 50% of your earnings is a small price to pay for social justice!

Oh, and any income from lobbying after serving in any governmental position? Yep, taxed 50%. Or may 90%. For America.

4. The Use the Taxes on Drivers for Drivers Act. You know that gas tax you pay every time you fill up the tank? Much of it is passed out to leftist constituencies to pay for buses, subways and bike lanes.  (or in Phoenix- Light rail boondoggles) How about a law that forces gas taxes to be used solely for improving roads? No more subsidies to underwrite Democrat inner city bus systems and light rail boondoggles. 🙂 No more pleasing rich liberals in dorky cycling shorts by forcing us normal people to pay for their stupid bike lanes.

We promise if you tax yourself into the poor house we may just built that city park for the children…

5. The College Student Civil Rights Act. Let’s make it easy to sue your university. Academia is a festering pustule on our society, and it’s time to lance the boil and drain the progressivism!

That’s one BIG swampy Tar Pit of Liberalism that is so overgrown is there anything else left that it hasn’t sucked down it maw?

We’ve all seen how young men are victimized by froth-mouthed feminists eager to convict them of the crime of existing while male.

We’ve also seen how goose-stepping administrators and commie professors seek to control the free-speech of these young Americans.

You too can have an American Flag on campus!

It’s time to protect our students‘ rights by applying expanded federal civil rights protections to the students of any university that takes even a penny of government funds. The Coward of The County– All Lives Matter

My father passed away over the weekend. He was 90 years old.

Today was the Sixth Anniversary of this blog.

The thought occurred to me that he was born into a segregated world.

A world that had just 4 years earlier had given women the right to vote.

A world where he wouldn’t see a TV until his mid 20s.

He died in a world torn apart by warfare, class warfare. A world segregated by race, sex, orientation, color and all for political advantage, not military advantage as in WWI that ended 7 years prior to his birth, nor WWII which he was veteran of in his 20s.

So he died largely in the same world he was born in, possibly worse.

So what does that say about “progress”?

A Texas man faces a capital murder charge in the “execution-style shooting” of a sheriff’s deputy while he was fueling his patrol car near Houston, authorities said.

Deputy Darren H. Goforth was in uniform when he was shot in the back Friday night in what authorities described as an unprovoked killing.

He was white. The perp was Black. What more provocation do you need these days. This is what the Left’s “Race War” has wrought.

The suspect, identified as Shannon J. Miles, has been in police custody since Saturday.

His criminal history includes convictions of resisting arrest, trespassing and disorderly conduct with a firearm, Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said.

The motive in the shooting, which Hickman described as “senseless and cowardly,” is still unclear.

He was white. The perp was Black.What other motivation do you need. All white people are racists and oppress black people. White Cops only shoot black people. They do because all White people are racists. (according to Leftist Agenda)

But Goforth appears to have been targeted “because he wore a uniform,” the sheriff said.

“We found no other motive or indication that it was anything other than that,” said Hickman, adding that he doesn’t believe the suspect and Goforth knew each other.

Hickman said “a big gun … a handgun” was used in the shooting and ballistic tests on a weapon recovered matched the one used to kill the deputy.

So you know it will be The Gun’s fault. The guy will be aggrieved, oppressed, or mentally ill. So the Agenda item is the Gun itself.

Absolutely NOT the black guy killing the White Cop because a) he was white and b) he was a cop. That is not allowed by the Left’s agenda.

It’s the gun’s fault.

“This is the kind of thing that drives you right down to your soul,” Hickman said. “It strikes at the heart of who we are as peace officers. …This was just a cold-blooded execution.”

But he the perp was Black and the “victim” was White, so it must be the guns fault.

We need more Gun control, obviously. 🙂

“Deputy Goforth was refueling his vehicle and returning to his car from inside the convenience store when, unprovoked, a man walked up behind him and literally shot him to death,” he said.

He was shot multiple times from behind and then fell to the ground, where the suspect fired at him some more, said Deputy Thomas Gilliland, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

The 10-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office died at the scene in “an unprovoked, execution-style killing,” Hickman said.

“I have been in law enforcement (for) 45 years,” the sheriff said. “I don’t recall another incident this cold-blooded and cowardly.”

He was White, it had to be his fault. The legacy of slavery provoke the killer right?

Hickman warned that the tension against officers is getting out of hand.

“When the rhetoric ramps up to the point where calculated, cold-blooded assassination of police officers happen, this rhetoric has gotten out of control,” Hickman said. “We’ve heard ‘Black Lives Matter,’ ‘All lives matter.’ Well, cops’ lives matter too. So why don’t we just drop the qualifier, and just say ‘Lives Matter,’ and take that to the bank.”

After announcing the arrest, Hickman said investigators were still trying to determine a motive.

“The general climate of the that kind of rhetoric can be influential on people that do thing like that,” he said.

The sheriff’s department posted “#BlueLivesMatter. #BlackLivesMatter. All #LivesMatter.” on its Twitter page Saturday.

Traffic incidents are the leading cause of officer fatalities in the U.S., followed by shootings.

State Representative Garnet F. Coleman, a Houston lawmaker who is heading a legislative inquiry into the death of Sandra Bland, an African-American woman found hanging in a Waller County jail cell in July, criticized the sheriff’s remarks.

“It strikes me as politicizing a death that, I don’t know that anyone knows what was in the mind of the shooter,” said Mr. Coleman, a Democrat. “I think black lives matter. I think deputy sheriffs’ lives matter. But I think the statement shows a lack of understanding of what is occurring in this country when it comes to the singling out of African-Americans.”

Besides his apparent erratic workplace demeanor, <Vester Lee> Flanagan seemed to have this mindset that he was besieged with racism at the workplace. Before his termination at WDBJ, co-workers said he thought the words “field” and “swinging” were racist. According to the Daily Mail, this is what prompted him to file a complaint in 2012 against then-intern Alison Parker, who he would eventually murder, for saying stuff like “‘swinging’ by an address,” or “going out into the ‘field.’” To no one’s surprise, Flanagan was described as “management’s worst nightmare.”

[Alison] Parker, who was referred to by her middle name as Bailey in the documents, was never disciplined for the remarks.But they appear to be the ‘racist’ comments Flanagan was referring to when he Tweeted in the aftermath of the deadly shooting.

Ryan Fuqua, a video editor at WDBJ, told The Post: ‘That’s how that guy’s mind worked. Just crazy, left-field assumptions like that.’

‘He was unstable. One time, after one of our live shots failed, he threw all his stuff down and ran into the woods for like 20 minutes.’

Trevor Fair, a 33-year-old cameraman at WDBJ, told the newspaper the words Parker used are commonplace but that they would routinely anger Flanagan.

We would say stuff like, “The reporter’s out in the field.” And he would look at us and say, “What are you saying, cotton fields? That’s racist”.’

‘We’d be like, “What?’ We all know what that means, but he took it as cotton fields, and therefore we’re all racists.’

The man who was news director during Vester Flanagan’s rocky tenure at Virginia station WDBJ-TV described him as someone who constantly saw himself being victimized by others.

Dan Dennison described Flanagan, who shot and killed a reporter and a cameraman on live television Wednesday, as a “professional victim” during his time at the station before being fired in 2013.

“He was victimized by everything and everyone and could never quite grasp the fact that he was the common denominator in all of these really sometimes serious interpersonal conflicts that he had with people,” Dennison said.

The article then went on to delve into other aspects of Flanagan’s work performance at the station, which was abysmal. He also exhibited a poor work ethic as well.

There are many Americans who get down on their luck. They may lose their jobs, face discrimination at work, and have legitimate anger as a result. Yet, they do not engage in cold-blooded murder. Only the mentally unstable engage in such behavior.

Or the product of the Liberal Media and Liberal education’s obsessions with everything being racist or bigoted, especially if you disagreed with their agenda.

After all, you speak out against Obama, you’re a racist.

Say anything against Gays, refuse them in any way for any reason, and you’re a bigot.

He was also censured for wearing an Obama sticker while recording a segment at a polling booth during the 2012 US Presidential Election – a clear breach of journalistic impartiality.

ROANOKE, Va. (CBSDC) — He planned it all so carefully — a choreographed execution of two former colleagues, broadcast live to a horrified television audience. Hours later, he shared his own recording of the killing worldwide on social media.

Vester Lee Flanagan’s own video shows him approaching WDBJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward, gun in hand, as they conduct an interview. He points the gun at Parker and then at Ward, but he waits patiently to shoot until he knows that Parker is on camera, so she will be gunned down on air.

TV viewers heard about the first eight of 15 shots. They saw Parker scream and run, and heard her crying “Oh my God!” as she fell. Ward fell, too, and the camera he had been holding on his shoulder captured a fleeting image of the suspect holding a handgun.

That man, authorities said, was Flanagan — a former staffer who used the on-air name of Bryce Williams and was fired by WDBJ, a man who always was looking for reasons to take offense, colleagues recalled. He fled the scene but then posted his own 56-second video of the murders on a Twitter account labeled @bryce_williams7 and Facebook.

He later ran off Interstate 66, just outside of D.C., while being pursued hundreds of miles away and was captured. He died around 1:30 p.m. at Inova Fairfax Hospital of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was listed in critical condition for a couple of hours.

A Virginia state trooper located Flanagan driving on I-66 using license plate recognition equipment.

State Police Sgt. Rick Garletts says the trooper followed Flanagan until backup arrived, then turned on her flashing lights. The suspect tried to evade her but after a couple of minutes, he ran off the road into the median. That’s where he was found with the self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Hope he wasn’t white, because a White Cop and a black “victim” always starts a race war these days thanks to the Leftists.

Wednesday’s on-air murders reverberated far from central Virginia because that’s just what the killer wanted — not just to avenge perceived wrongs, but to gain maximum, viral exposure. He used his insider’s knowledge of TV journalism against his victims – a 24-year-old reporter who was a rising star and a 27-year-old cameraman engaged to a producer who watched the slaughter live from the control room.

Flanagan’s planning may have started weeks ago when, ABC News said, a man claiming to be Bryce Williams called repeatedly, saying he wanted to pitch a story and needed fax information. He sent ABC’s newsroom a 23-page fax two hours after the 6:45 a.m. shooting that was part-manifesto, part-suicide note — calling himself a gay black man who had been mistreated by people of all races, and saying he bought the gun two days after nine black people were killed in a June 17 shooting at a Charleston church. The fax also included admiration for the gunmen in mass killings at places like Virginia Tech and Columbine High School in Colorado.

Remember, kiddies, guns kill people, not people with guns. 🙂

And he was an ‘oppressed’ “victim of WASP hatred so he’s the good guy right?

President Barack Obama says the fatal on-air shooting is heartbreaking.

But it’s precisely what he’s been working for all these years. It’s his Agenda. He must secretly be very proud.

Obama says “it breaks my heart every time” he reads or hears about these kinds of incidents.

Except when it’s, say Trayvon Martin or Ferguson Or Baltimore, etc.

White people shooting Black people is so much easier on his Agenda.

“What we know is that the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism,” he said.

Parker and Ward were a regular team, providing stories for the station’s “Mornin’” show on everything from breaking news to feature stories on subjects like child abuse. Their live spot Wednesday was nothing out of the ordinary: They were interviewing a local official at an outdoor shopping mall for a tourism story before the shots rang out.

The extraordinary from the ordinary.

As Parker screamed and Ward collapsed, Ward’s camera kept rolling, capturing the image of the suspect pointing the gun. WDBJ quickly switched to the anchor back at the station, clearly shocked, who told viewers, “OK, not sure what happened there.”

“We heard screaming and then we heard nothing,” Jeff Marks, the station’s general manager, said during the WDBJ broadcast.

Parker and Ward died at the scene. Their interview subject, Vicki Gardner, the head of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, also was shot. She emerged from surgery later Wednesday in stable condition.

Flanagan, 41, who was fired from WDBJ in 2013, was described by the station’s president and general manager, Jeffrey Marks, as an “an unhappy man” and “difficult to work with,” always “looking out for people to say things he could take offense to.”

Obama and Co must be so proud. The Politically Correct should erect a monument in his honor because he’s everything they’ve ever wanted.

They were white “racists” and he was a Gay Black Man. Throw in cisgender and you’d have a trifecta.

“Eventually after many incidents of his anger coming to the fore, we dismissed him. He did not take that well,” Marks said. He recalled that police had to escort Flanagan out of the building because he refused to leave when he was fired.

But since he was black and gay, he was politically correct to be offended. They should have given a promotion instead. 🙂

Tweets posted Wednesday on the gunman’s Twitter account — since suspended — described workplace conflicts with both victims. He said he filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Parker, and that Ward had reported him to human resources.

The only thing missing was a little “Allah Ackbar” and it would have been perfect. The media would have ignored him with fierce determination then.

Marks said Flanagan alleged that other employees made racially tinged comments to him, but that his EEOC claim was dismissed and none of his allegations could be corroborated.

But they are White, of course they made racist remarks, They’re White!! DUH! 🙂

“We think they were fabricated,” the station manager said.

White Privilege strikes again!

Dan Dennison, now a state government spokesman in Hawaii, was the WDBJ news director who hired Flanagan in 2012 and fired him in 2013, largely for performance issues, he said.

I’d says his Politically Correct performance should get a 10.

“We did a thorough investigation and could find no evidence that anyone had racially discriminated against this man,” Dennison said. “You just never know when you’re going to work how a potentially unhinged or unsettled person might impact your life in such a tragic way.”

Yeah, he might even be in the Military, say Fort Hood.

Court records and recollections from former colleagues at a half-dozen other small-market stations where he bounced around indicate that Flanagan was quick to file complaints. He was fired at least twice after managers said he was causing problems with other employees.

But a quick “offense” when no has occurred is precisely what The Left wants. He’s a martyr to their Agenda.

They should build a shrine to him.

A former co-worker of Flanagan says he was “off-kilter” and that he thought news anchoring was about “acting.”

It is about acting. Acting like your not an Orwellian Propagandist. That you’re a “journalist”. That takes acting talent.

Kimberly Moore Wilmoth worked with Flanagan in 1999 when he was at a Tallahassee TV station. She said Wednesday that “he didn’t laugh at our jokes or at himself when he would make a mistake.”

Because it was all YOUR fault! 🙂

Wilmoth describes Flanagan as a loner who didn’t socialize with other reporters. She says he got mad when co-workers made light of on-air mistakes. She recounted one story in which he filmed an elderly man trapped inside a car during a flood even though the man was calling out for help.

She says: “Instead of helping the man, he used the man as a prop.”

So he was the perfect Leftist then!! They use everyone as a prop for their agenda.

Flanagan sued WTWC-TV in north Florida in March 2000. The lawsuit claimed that a producer called him a “monkey” in 1999 and that other black employees had been called the same name by other workers.

Seeing racism everywhere. Such a lovely product of Leftist education. He must have been an A+ student.

He also claimed that an unnamed white supervisor at the station said black people were lazy because they did not take advantage of scholarships to attend college.

See, he was the perfect “victim” of “white privilege”.

The station generally denied the allegations of discrimination and said it had legitimate reasons for ending Flanagan’s employment, including poor performance, misbehavior with regard to co-workers, refusal to follow directions, use of profanity and budgetary reasons.

But mostly it was because he was Black and Gay. Don’t kid yourself! 🙂

Both Parker and Ward grew up in the Roanoke area, attended high school there and later interned at the station. After Parker’s internship, she moved to a smaller market in Jacksonville, North Carolina, before returning to WBDJ. She was dating Chris Hurst, an anchor at the station and had just moved in with him.

“We were together almost nine months,” Hurst posted on Facebook. “It was the best nine months of our lives. We wanted to get married. We just celebrated her 24th birthday. She was the most radiant woman I ever met.”

So it was all her fault! She was White, it had to be her fault, right?

Ward, who played high school football, was a devoted fan of his alma mater, Virginia Tech. His colleagues said he rarely, if ever, missed a game. They called him a “happy-go-lucky guy” — even during the early morning hours that are the proving ground for so many beginning journalists.

He was exercising his “white privilege”.

Ward’s fiancee, station producer Melissa Ott, was in the control room when the shots rang out, marking her last day on the job. He had planned to follow her to her new job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In an interview with CNN, Marks said: “It’s hard to imagine, isn’t it? She was moving on to a station in Charlotte. It was going to be a day of celebration.”

More “white privilege”. It just has to stop! 🙂

Marks helped lead the live coverage Wednesday after the station confirmed its two employees were dead. He said he and his staff covered the story despite their grief, to honor their slain colleagues.

“Our hearts are broken,” he said. “Our sympathy goes to the entire staff here, but also the parents and family of Alison Parker and Adam Ward, who were just out doing their job today.” (CBS Radio)

And Vester Lee Flanagan was doing the job the Left had programmed him for years to do.

He was an angry, discriminated against Gay Black man in a “white privilege” world. How unfair was that!
