Holiday placemats for Social Justice

The Libs got caught with their hand in the Orwellian Cookie Jar again. But don’t worry, they ‘meant well’ so its not their fault and they won’t learn a blessed thing from this screw up. 🙂

Harvard apologized this week after people complained about the social justice placemats the College’s Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion passed out.

The university apologized on Wednesday for the “Holiday Placemats for Social Justice,” a misguided attempt to help students navigate winter break with curious family members after a tumultuous semester at many colleges nationwide.

Misguided. Misconstrued. Misquoted. Misinterpreted.

MISSED THE POINT ALL TOGETHER!! 🙂

The placemat provides “tips for talking to families” so you can explain 1) why black students aren’t “complaining,” they’re protesting at colleges for safe environments, 2) why the U.S. should take in Syrian refugees, 2) why Harvard changed the house “master” title, and 4) why white people don’t get the same treatment as black people do by the police.

Placemat

Naturally, they won’t take their OWN “sagely” and “tolerant” advice.

In the middle of the placemat, there are more general tips for talking to family members: “listen, breathe, ask, affirm and speak.”

The placemats offered helpful responses like: “When I hear students expressing their experiences of racism on campus, I don’t hear complaining. Instead I hear young people uplifting a situation that I might not experience.”

You white male privilege asshole! (who has a White Male Asshole of RICH father who can afford to send their little cherub of Liberal Joy to Harvard in the first place!).

Their parents dropped $200k on tuition and all they  got was a lousy placemat!!

Now, that struck many people as liberal coddling, and a Harvard Crimson column argues that the diversity office should be addressing such issues “in a less shallow and simplistic manner.”

It continues:

The handout shamefully parallels a similar tendency among activists to conflate well-meaning people who have the audacity to hold contrary opinions with racists and demagogues. Either you toe the party line, or your justifications don’t matter because you are too white, too male, or too privileged in some other way. Opponents of Yale activism are portrayed as racist, and those with concerns about Syrian refugees are painted as Islamophobic.

Even for those of us who agree with the handout on all its issues, this is an area for concern. There must be debate on these issues, at Harvard’s tables and in our homes. Presenting unglorified talking points not only wrongly attempts to stifle debate, but also stands in stark contradiction to the mission of the College to transform students “with exposure to new ideas, new ways of understanding, and new ways of knowing.”

In a column for The Harvard Crimson , student Idrees M. Kalhoon pointed out that the text for the placemats was taken word-for-word from a similar credited poster created by the group Showing Up for Racial Justice, whose aim is to move “white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability.”

Stop being Racists! you white privilege bastards! 🙂

Rich kids with too much “diversity” on their hands.

Amid a national storm of college protests over racism, Harvard University released a “diversity report” that called for sweeping administrative changes on campus. That very same day, someone put tape over the faces of black professors in their law school portraits.

The act was a disheartening reminder that protesters still have a lot of work to do.

Rinne-Julie Fruster, an organizer from Lasell College, in Newton, Mass., said there’s a misconception in higher education that students of color shouldn’t complain because they’re privileged to even be getting a degree.

“It’s good to hear from students at many different schools who feel that way, that they’ve been silenced by the privilege we’re seeing as having,” she said, “and who can speak out against it.”

But the power students earned in the past has gradually been eroded over time, Johnston said. Students need to win it back by making demands like the one recently launched by Boston College activists, who want students represented on the hiring committee for the school’s new executive director of the Office of Institutional Diversity.

“When students want more power in the universe, they have to fight not only to get it, but also to keep it,” he said. “So that’s something they’ll have to consider to not repeat what happened in the past.” (Boston.com)

Thanks for nothing, MLK! 🙂

And apparently the placemats got such blowback that Harvard had to issue a statement apologizing:

December 16, 2015

Dear Harvard College students,

We write to acknowledge that the placemat distributed in some of your dining halls this week failed to account for the many viewpoints that exist on our campus on some of the most complex issues we confront as a community and society today. Our goal was to provide a framework for you to engage in conversations with peers and family members as you return home for the winter break, however, it was not effectively presented and it ultimately caused confusion in our community. On behalf of the Office of Student Life and the Freshman Dean’s Office, we offer our sincere apologies for this situation.

Academic freedom is central to all that Harvard College stands for. To suggest that there is only one point of view on each of these issues runs counter to our educational goals. We appreciate the feedback that we have received about this initiative. Moving forward we will, with your continued input, support the growth and the development of independent minds.

Sincerely,

Stephen Lassonde

The Fallacy of Socialism

To have a self-acclaimed socialist in the Senate of a nation that spent two generations fighting against it is a surprise, but to have one running to be the leader of the free world is a real wake up call as to how far removed this last generation has drifted from the truth of the abject failure of socialism and what an unworkable system it really is.

Socialism is a philosophy, a utopian ideal that has only ever worked in small groups of like-minded people, religious groups, communes or such, that have made the decision to devote themselves, their affluence and their talents, to a common cause, basically putting it all into one pot and everybody taking out what is needed for their survival.

Now, that sounds humane and charitable in theory, but in practice it is counterproductive. And in actuality, in a society where a handful of the people do all the work and the others decide that it makes no difference how hard they work, they’ll never get any farther than they are. So, why work?

In the early days of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the easing of relations between the U.S. and the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, Western companies began their push to establish a foothold in former Iron Curtain countries.

McDonald’s was among the first to move in. Upon opening a store, they were besieged with job applications from the local folks seeking a job paying Western wages.

Despite the early enthusiasm, the people hired were slackers who would work for a while and sit down and read a newspaper or just hang around, not getting the work done, causing something like a 300 percent employment turnover.

To these people who had been born and bred under the communist, socialist system, this was what a job was, just showing up, doing as little as possible and collecting a paycheck for their efforts. This was their work ethic.

Such are the fruits of socialism, and when adopted by a government as doctrine, it always ends up with disastrous results – killing ambition, destroying the work ethic and, regardless of what the socialist doctrine preaches, “from each according to his abilities and to each according to his need,” it always creates an elite ruling class who vote themselves special privileges. This, in turn, places them in a class all by themselves, a status they will never willingly give up, up to and including the creation of a totalitarian government, which would grow ever bigger and more oppressive as the paranoid ruling class desperately hangs on to their pampered existence.

The whole concept, as being presented by Bernie Sanders and his ilk, and to a somewhat less radical but similar degree by Hillary Clinton, is that you have a right to something that somebody else has acquired, something that by their wit, their willingness to work and tenacity, they have earned.

It basically fosters the feeling that somebody who has more than you do has gone about getting it in a way that has deprived you of being able to get your piece of the pie, and therefore, due to the unfairness of their actions, you are entitled to a piece of their ill-gotten gain.

The truth of the matter is that with the exception of inheritance, or crime related endeavors, the wealth of this nation is in the hands of the people who have worked for it, sacrificed for it, gone the extra mile, burned the midnight oil and, with sweat and tenacity, came up with a product or a service that translated into profit.

I have received comments from people who seem to think that one day I picked up a fiddle and a guitar, sat down, dashed off a song and became successful overnight, having done nothing except being at the right place at the right time.

They never take into account the endless hours of practice, the chances you take when you uproot your family and move to another town with no guaranteed source of income, the ceaseless process of writing a song, pulling words and melodies out of thin air, honing, polishing arranging and recording it and hoping that it can compete with the fierce competition that never lets up.

They never take into account the long periods of time spent away from your family, the missed birthdays, anniversaries, junior high football games and grammar school plays, the times you have to explain to a five-year-old why Daddy is gone so much.

There is a price to be paid, and if you’re not willing to pay it yourself, you shouldn’t resent those who are because without them there would be no innovation, no advancement and no chance for those who are willing to get their hands dirty to make something out of their lives.

Socialism, as a form of government, is nothing more than a guise, a deception, a promised Shangri-La existence that is always just around the next bend. One more tax hike, one more tightening of regulations, one more personal freedom taken away, one more election – it’s a Robin Hood fallacy that never acknowledges the iron bound fact that nothing is free, that somebody has to pay, and that finally gets around to including everybody.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops and the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless America

THE HOLIDAY PARTY!

If you see something say something! Be on the look out for Christian terrorists wanting to convert you!

Don’t be a victim of workplace violence, discrimination and intolerance…

‘Ensure Your Holiday Party Is Not a Christmas Party in Disguise,’ University’s Holiday Guide Warns

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Office of Diversity and Inclusion has come up with a list of “best practices” in order to ensure your “inclusive” workplace holiday party is “not a Christmas party in disguise” and that it refrains from being perceived as “endorsing religion generally.”

The “Best Practices for Inclusive Holiday Celebrations in the Workplace” holiday resource guide states that the public university “does not have an official policy regarding religious and cultural décor and celebration in the workplace,” however, “we are fully committed to a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive environment.”

In order to “ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise,” the Office of Diversity and Inclusion has come up with a list of ways for supervisors to encourage individuals to celebrate their own religions and cultures without allegedly excluding anyone or even being seen as “endorsing religion”:

  • Holiday parties and celebrations should celebrate and build upon workplace relationships and team morale with no emphasis on religion or culture. Ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise.
  • Consider having a New Year’s party and include décor and food from multiple religions and cultures. Use it as an opportunity to reinvigorate individuals for the New Year’s goals and priorities.
  • Supervisors and managers should not—as well as, not be perceived as—endorsing religion generally or a specific religion.
  • If an individual chooses not to participate in a holiday party or celebration, do not pressure the person to participate. Participation should be voluntary.
  • If a potluck-style party or celebration is planned, encourage employees to bring food items that reflect their personal religions, cultures, and celebrations. Use this as an opportunity for individuals to share what they brought and why it is meaningful to them.
  • If sending holiday cards to campus and community partners, send a non-denominational card or token of your gratitude.
  • Holiday parties and celebrations should not play games with religious and cultural themes. For example, “Dreidel” or “Secret Santa.” If you want to exchange gifts, then refer to it in a general way, such as a practical joke gift exchange or secret gift exchange.
  • Décor selection should be general, not specific to any religion or culture. Identify specific dates when décor can be put up and when it must come down.
  • Refreshment selection should be general, not specific to any religion or culture.
  • Most importantly, celebrate your religious and cultural holidays in ways that are respectful and inclusive of our students, your colleagues, and our university.

Although the theme of the guide seems to be ensuring that supervisors are not accused of endorsing any particular religion or even “endorsing religion generally,” some of the suggestions—such as telling employees to bring in religious refreshments and asking for an explanation of their religious significance and including decor from “multiple religions”—are generally considered endorsing the idea of religion.

At the same time, putting up decor from “multiple religions” and asking employees to bring in religious food contradicts the idea that refreshments and food should be “general, not specific to any religion or culture.”

It is not clear whether the suggestion for decor from “multiple religious” and asking employees to bring in religious food means Christians cannot include decor and food related to Christmas or whether that goes against the “Christmas party in disguise” rule.

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Office of Diversity and Inclusion recently hit headlines for its “gender-neutral pronoun guide.”

Stay Vigilant and Stay strong in the face of this domestic terrorism.

DIVERSITY must be maintained!

Don’t give in to the evil influences.

Don’t Become Radicalized!

Don’t give into the Hate. Don’t be a Victim.

*******

SO with that, Matt Walsh:

Dear Walmart,

I am writing to inform you of a terrible attack I suffered in one of your stores this week. The assault against me was so violent and oppressive that I had to immediately retreat to my healing space, where I lay whimpering on the floor for three and a half days, barely able to move or breathe. I emerge now, courageously, only because I must see that those responsible are made to answer for their crimes. I feel deeply triggered even speaking about it, but I must soldier on, in the name of #Justice.

It all started in the parking lot of my local Walmart. I was walking from my car to the store, minding my own business, when suddenly another customer, a man, walked up and accosted me. I should pause here and apologize to the transgender, agender, nongender, pangender, bigender, trigender, and quasigender communities if they feel offended or victimized because I’m labeling this individual a man. To be honest, he never mentioned his gender identity, and I would be the last person to ever assume anything about anyone. But in this case I feel comfortable guessing that the entity in question was a man because, in my experience, only cisgender white Christian Republican middle class heterosexual men are ever guilty of doing anything wrong. Anyway, I don’t really believe in labels, except for the five or six labels I just used in the previous sentence.

So, back to the incident. The man came alongside me, out of nowhere and without invitation, and immediately started sharing opinions with me. They were bad opinions. Opinions I didn’t like. Opinions that were different and confusing and scary. Opinions that shouldn’t exist. Opinions that made me feel delegimitized and otherized and vaporized. Literally vaporized. The opinions were like a death ray that zapped me and reduced me to ash and rubble.

Somehow, in the midst of this barrage, I was able to let out a desperate shriek. “STOP,” I yelled. “STOP. DEAR GOD. STOP.” He looked at me and even his look was offensive because I could tell in his head he was still thinking opinions that weren’t my opinions. “HOW DARE YOU DEVALUE MY LIFE EXPERIENCES,” I shouted.

He told me he had no idea what that meant. I could tell he’d never been to college. I put up my hands – just like they teach us in college – and started screaming “SAFE SPACE, SAFE SPACE, I’M IN MY SAFE SPACE” over and over again.

I thought that was the end of it. They told me in college nobody is allowed to think differently, and if anyone ever does think differently, all I need to do is run to my safe space. Everyone has to respect my safe space, which isn’t to be confused with my healing space, although my healing space must also be respected.

But these defenses were useless against the man. He only upped the ante. He insulted me. INSULTED ME. Do you understand what I’m saying to you? He formed words with his lips and ejected sounds from his throat and those sounds came out in the form of insults. He called me names. All kinds of names. All kinds of terrible, awful names. I’d repeat them here but I fear it would only cause others to experience the trauma I am now suffering.

I ran away from the man. I ran away as fast as I could, but he was still shouting words, and I felt like I might never escape. Eventually I made it into the store. In a haze of anxiety and confusion I grabbed several items from the shelf and tried to leave without paying for them. The manager stopped me. I explained to him that I’d just been insulted by some guy outside. He said he’s sorry about that but it doesn’t mean I get to steal.

Steal? STEAL? I’d just been mugged by opinions and insults moments earlier, and now I was being accused of doing something that I was in the process of doing? I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe any of it. Is there no end to the intolerance?

I have been meditating on this series of tragedies ever since that day. It has become clear to me, especially in light of the inspiring protests at the University of Missouri, that I have no choice but to demand the immediate resignation of Walmart CEO Doug McMillon.

You might call me ridiculous. You might say this story sounds at least partially fabricated. You might say that even if it isn’t, it has nothing to do with the CEO of the company, nor does it have anything to do with the company at all. You might say this was one unpleasant man who said unpleasant things, and there’s no reason why anyone from Walmart should have to answer for it. You might say there’s really no reason why anything at all should be done, frankly. People say mean things to other people sometimes, you might say. There’s not always a remedy or a recourse, nor should we try to find one, you might say.

But you are only saying this because you are white and privileged. I myself do not identify as white. My mother’s step-dad’s aunt’s hairdresser’s cousin visited an Indian reservation in the 50s, so I naturally consider myself part Cherokee — or Mohican or Aztec or whatever. Indeed, I suspect the man at Walmart probably chose to attack me because he harbors bigotries against Native Americans. At one point he even said “I harbor bigotries against Native Americans.” I know that doesn’t sound like something an actual person would say, even if they do harbor bigotries against Native Americans, but anyone who accuses me of exaggerating obviously harbors bigotries against Native Americans.

So I must insist that Doug McMillon take responsibility for fostering an environment where people feel comfortable having bigotries and opinions in the parking lots of his stores. I can’t point to any one specific thing Mr. McMillon has done to create this issue, but that is precisely the problem. His inaction is the real outrage here.

Indeed, what has Mr. McMillon done? What has he done to stop people from saying mean things in and around the nation’s Walmarts? Has he posted signs reminding us not to share our opinions with one another? Has he officially declared Walmarts to be No Insult Zones? Has he made any attempt to give his customers a true understanding of the impact hurtful words have on marginalized populations? Has he set up safe spaces in his stores where those dealing with the effects of unpleasant phrases and ideas can go to regroup and share their feelings? Has he followed the progressive lead of the University of Missouri and established racially segregated healing spaces so that different minority groups can be vulnerable around others who share their authentic racial experiences? Has he instituted mandatory inclusivity and sensitivity seminars for all of his employees and customers? Has he conducted awareness campaigns to make people aware of things? Has he then followed those awareness campaigns with awareness awareness campaigns to make people aware of the awareness? Has he even taken the basic step of offering free Yoga classes in the back of every Walmart to help his customer de-stress?

Has he done any of this? No? Nothing? Exactly.

At this point, the only recourse is for Mr. McMillon to issue a public apology, resign his post, forfeit his severance, donate all of his money to a hippy commune or public university of my choice, burn his house down, and live the rest of his life under a bridge. I can see no other solution.

Next, I am forced to demand the manager of my local store resign and repay me the money he made me hand over for the items I tried to allegedly steal. Also, I demand that the governor of Maryland be arrested, the president impeached, the U.N. disbanded, and Australia nuked into oblivion. All of these people, organizations, and countries did nothing to stop that man from insulting me, and they must all pay the price, even in their own blood if necessary. I wish it did not have to come to this, but it isn’t my fault. I’m simply a man who reasonably expects to only ever encounter sweetness and smiles and happy thoughts, as is my constitutional right.

Going forward, once the requisite blood sacrifices have been made to atone for the opinions and insults of one man, I make the following further demands:

  • I demand that anyone who has been injured by emotional or mental violence be permitted to purchase products without paying for them. People cannot be financially burdened during such a difficult time. To achieve social justice, aggrieved minorities must be given free stuff. They teach this on the first day of college.
  • I demand that Walmart corporate offices hire new staff according to an arbitrary quota formula I will devise. I’ll get back to you with the specifics, but I know for sure that there should be at least 12 Native Americans, 24 black Americans, 37 homosexuals, 321 transgenders, and 600 bisexual Hispanic feminists holding high ranking positions in your company. This is just obvious. Companies that are not run by victims cannot understand victims, and if they cannot understand victims, they cannot prevent victims from being victimized, which is really the primary job of every company and every person everywhere.
  • I demand that Walmart greeters be replaced with therapeutic asexual cuddlers. It is appalling that I ran through your store with tears streaming down my cheeks and not one – not ONE – employee offered to cuddle me and make me feel better. Every employee should be given consensual cuddle training, and there ought to be at least two specialists stationed by the entrances and exits of the stores. Again, this is obvious stuff.
  • I demand that Walmart identify marginalized employees and customers and immediately make them general managers of their own stores.
  • I demand that all customers and employees be required to ride electric scooters so that the elderly and the morbidly obese don’t feel otherized.
  • I demand that Walmart develop a strategic five year plan to end hurting and sadness. During this process, you must cooperate and consult with the Social Justice Diversity Tolerance Outreach and Inclusiveness Center, which is an institution you’ll also have to create and fund and operate and staff.

I am hereby beginning a #HungerStrike until my demands are met. Some might call me a #HeroForSocialJustice but I like to think I’m just a regular guy who’s finally taking a stand. Heroically.

You have 12 hours to do everything I’ve commanded, or else your stores will be flooded with a racially and sexually diverse group of young, well-dressed, upper middle class protesters who will hold signs and chant slogans and Tweet about the oppression you’ve brought upon them.

The clock is ticking.

Sincerely,

A #Victim

AMEN, my brother. 🙂

The Real Enemy

As Obama get’s his Agenda Scout Merit Badge for caving in to the communists in Cuba, the “JV team” ISIS continue to rape, pillage, and creatively kill anyone who isn’t them.

Good thing Global Warming is a bigger threat, don’t you know.

So the following is politically incorrect.

Thursday, The New York Times published a disturbing piece about the Islamic State having enshrined “a theology of rape,” specifically against women and girls who aren’t Muslim. In other words, if the female isn’t Muslim, it’s totally fine to assault her, sell her, and keep as property.

It’s amazing they would publish the piece in the first place. This is Al-Jazeera America, before the channel actually existed.

The opening paragraphs are harrowing, describing the rape of a 12-year-old girl:

In the moments before he raped the 12-year-old girl, the Islamic State fighter took the time to explain that what he was about to do was not a sin. Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted. He bound her hands and gagged her. Then he knelt beside the bed and prostrated himself in prayer before getting on top of her.

When it was over, he knelt to pray again, bookending the rape with acts of religious devotion.

Good thing he didn’t order a Pizza, then the Left might get their panties in a wad.

“I kept telling him it hurts — please stop,” said the girl, whose body is so small an adult could circle her waist with two hands. “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God,” she said in an interview alongside her family in a refugee camp here, to which she escaped after 11 months of captivity.

The systematic rape of women and girls from the Yazidi religious minority has become deeply enmeshed in the organization and the radical theology of the Islamic State in the year since the group announced it was reviving slavery as an institution.

And here I thought the only slavery left was “white privilege”. 🙂

Interviews with 21 women and girls who recently escaped the Islamic State, as well as an examination of the group’s official communications, illuminate how the practice has been enshrined in the group’s core tenets.

The trade in Yazidi women and girls has created a persistent infrastructure, with a network of warehouses where the victims are held, viewing rooms where they are inspected and marketed, and a dedicated fleet of buses used to transport them.

A total of 5,270 Yazidis were abducted last year, and at least 3,144 are still being held, according to community leaders. To handle them, the Islamic State has developed a detailed bureaucracy of sex slavery, including sales contracts notarized by the ISIS-run Islamic courts. And the practice has become an established recruiting tool to lure men from deeply conservative Muslim societies, where casual sex is taboo and dating is forbidden.

Good thing Obama care about “human rights” like Gay Marriage and Abortion, he has his priorities straight. 🙂

The rest of the long form piece is riddled with equally barbaric and appalling details that revolve around the topic of sex slavery.

And you though just being against Planned Parenthood’s harvesting and selling of fetal baby parts was “a war on women”.

In August of 2014, thousands of Yazidis fled the forces of the Islamic State by heading to the Sinjar Mountains. The conditions were abysmal, with little shade, food, water, and other essential supplies. In all, 20-30,000 Yazidis remained trapped on top of the mountain. U.S., British and Iraqi aircraft had been dropping supplies at the time to aid the beleaguered group. The U.S. was considering air evacuations for the refugees. By December of 2014, the Kurds relieved the siege on Sinjar.

Yet, for CNN’s Chris Cuomo, the New York Times piece might promote stereotypes.

“Let’s finish this part of the discussion on a point that you feel often needs to be made,” Cuomo said to Muslim woman’s rights activist Qanta Ahmed. “This feeds the impression that these Muslims are animals, savages and their faith makes them that way.”

“And it feeds an impression of what Islam is,” he continued. “What is your response to that?”

Ahmed didn’t seem overly concerned about the point Cuomo raised, and instead strongly critiqued radical Islam. “This is Islamism at work,” she said. “We’ve talked a lot about this on this show. Islamism is totalitarianism… totalitarianism, that means absolute domination of the self.”

Oh, Obama and The Democrats, just without the violence, rape and murder.  No wonder the Leftist can’t comprehend it, so let’s replay that…

“This feeds the impression that these Muslims are animals, savages and their faith makes them that way,” he said.

Muslim women’s rights activist Qanta Ahmed aptly noted that the end goal for these Islamists is one thing: totalitarianism.

The same as the Democrat Party. How fascinating is that. Maybe that’s why they are for “human rights” only when it suits their agenda but are utterly incapable of getting the littlest bit annoyed about beheadings and rape. Not to mention what Arabs and Persians due to gays and don’t go there about Gay Marriage…

“This is Islamism at work …there Islamists are dominating to extinction girls and women; it’s very calculated,” she said.

So is Obama. He just doesn’t do it with overt violence. 🙂

At the same time, ISIS is raping 12-year-olds and justifying it through religious means. They’re engaging in sex slavery. These aren’t stereotypes or brash over-generalizations; they’re actually happening. Saying that the members of the Islamic State are animals and savages not only fits the bill, one could argue that it’s overly generous given the utter evil they’re partaking in on a daily basis. I mean, is this even up for discussion?

But Obama and Co. can’t even conceptualize the idea of “radical Islam” because of their Thought Police filters that prevents such a thoughtcrime from passing their lips.

You would think that one would come to that conclusion after the various execution videos they’ve released; the beheadings of Americans James Foley and Steve Sotloff; or when they blew up a baby. (Townhall)

But not Obama and The Democrats. Nope. That Thoughtcrime has not been breached yet. They continue to stay strong in the face such pressure.

You can’t paint a religion as “radical” based on just a few nutters, not unless their Christians that is, then it’s not only acceptable, it’s the truth. 🙂

Good thing they didn’t blow up an Abortion Clinic then they’d be “right wing” religious extremists and then you might annoy them!

The Left is blinded by their ideology and will fight to every last drop of your blood to prove just how superior their vision is.

Welfare Babies

Leadership: Rep. Paul Ryan has stepped forward with a bold plan to reform the welfare system so it’s more fair and effective — which is why the Democratic Party will oppose it.

After all, the Democrats hate “fairness”. 🙂

Ryan, the Wisconsin Republican, has become one of the most passionate critics of our dysfunctional, politically driven welfare system — which means he’s a real danger to the liberal politicians who profit from its existence.

Like Obama and his Illegal Alien Welfare Democrat invasion that he wants to grant Amnesty to so they can vote for him and his buddies.

His new plan, “Expanding Opportunity in America,” isn’t radical, though it’s already being called that by the left-leaning media and Democrats in Congress.

It’s radical to them. After all, they think Obama is a “centrist” politician.

Indeed, his plan is completely commonsensical and premised on one big idea: Take welfare out of the hands of the uncaring, incompetent federal bureaucracy in Washington, and give it back to the states — where things like welfare and education properly belong.

OMG! You mean the States get to choose what THEY want to do!!! OH NO! That can’t happen, The Federal Government is Supreme in ALL things according to the Left.

Ryan would do this by giving the money now spent on welfare back to the states in the form of Opportunity Grants. But it’s not just money. It’s also the flexibility to shape spending and programs to meet local needs.

OMG! No Centralized Bureaucratic Control from Washington! How will the universe survove such a “radical” concept!!

“My thinking is, get rid of these bureaucratic formulas,” Ryan said. “Put the emphasis on results.”

Results! OMG! How radical is that. The only result the Democrats want is more or them dependent on them so they’ll vote for more of it.

Makes sense. By replacing 11 different government welfare programs that don’t work with state-based programs that do, the Ryan plan would encourage those on the dole to be more productive.

Productive! How dare he cut into their video gaming and watching Judge Judy and The View with something as draconian as work! He’s obviously a callous, mean, heartless right-wing extremist!!

Key to Ryan’s innovative plan is that states and welfare recipients will together shape an individual plan so that welfare doesn’t become a way of life.

Now that’s just wrong. They like being lazy, “entitled”, layabout spending other people’s money.

A recipient might agree, for instance, to apply for a job. Or stay off drugs. Or go to school. The point is, the old “money for nothin'” welfare model would die.

HOW EVIL IS THAT. Heartless, mean, gruel right-wingers who just hate women and children and want grandma to starve!!

Washington Post: “But economists and researchers now question whether the availability of generous benefits for people in low-wage jobs also became an incentive for employers to pay less, especially for workers who have few skills and little education. Since the law was enacted, low-wage jobs with no health care or other benefits that barely provide enough for workers to sustain themselves have proliferated.”

The increase in low-wage jobs and the accompanying explosion of benefits were key factors driving federal deficits of more than $1 trillion annually during and after the recession.

Welfare-to-work law encourages low wages, raises dependency on federal benefits.

It wasn’t just spending more than you took in, it was Corporate America’s Fault and reforming the welfare system to make them more productive makes them worse off.

So that’s why it’s must be $15.hr or nothing! 🙂

That’s the Orwellian Perversity of the Left for you.

“What do we know about the poor?” Ryan asked earlier this year. “They’re less likely to have graduated from high school. They’re less likely to work full time. And they’re less likely to have gotten married before they had kids.”

Yet our current welfare system encourages all these negative behaviors by punishing work.

But the alternative is that right wingers want children to starve and parents to struggle! 🙂

Even though we’ve spent over $20 trillion on welfare since the War on Poverty began in 1964, today, in the richest nation on Earth, 47 million people remain poor — about 15% of the population.

Yeah, because we haven’t spent enough! 🙂

Just as bad, nearly half of all Americans get a check from the government. This seems benign, but it’s a recipe for growing dependence on government — contrary to our nation’s founding principles, which encouraged self-reliance, hard work and individual responsibility.

But it works well for Democrats, so it must be good.

Our current welfare system is inexcusable. We’re wasting people’s lives — and making all of us poorer.

But makeing the DSemocrats richer and more powerful. What could be wrong with that? 🙂

It’s time to end the cycle of dependency that our system breeds. And Ryan’s plan would do just that.

Which is why the Democrats will fight you tooth-and-nail with every Nuclear Illogic Bomb in their arsenal. It’s their turf you’re cutting into.

So why are the media already calling Ryan’s plan radical, while his so-called progressive congressional colleagues say they won’t even consider it?

This is craziness. Our welfare system is, at best, dysfunctional, and, at worst, cruel, trapping millions of Americans in dead-end lives and making them virtual wards of the federal government.

Time for the welfare state as we know it to end. Ryan’s plan is a great place to start.

But the Democrats want more candy, not less, because it works for THEM. Screw what it does to you or your kids or grandkids. If it’s good for them, it MUST be good for everyone. They will be happy to tell you so, over ,and over, and over again until you believe them.

Then anything else is just “radical”. 🙂
