Politics Of Personal Agenda

President Obama: “Well this is something we should politicize. This is a political choice that we make. To allow this to happen every few months in America.”

Political Cartoons by Henry Payne

David Jacques, the publisher of the local paper in Roseburg, Oregon, where the mass shooting took place, said President Obama would not be welcome in their town.

He doesn’t care. This is Agenda Politics. The Agenda is the Agenda. Period. He could care less about the victims and the families. This about the Gun Control/Confiscation Agenda.

And when he comes to town he won’t be a “gun Free Zone” now will he? 🙂

NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE, to push your Agenda.

And so he said, in that speech, that ‘people are going to accuse me of politicizing this event and frankly, it needs politicizing.’ So I think, he admitted it himself. So his visit here isn’t a re-election campaign stop, but it is a campaign stop nonetheless for an agenda that he and his associates believe is important. And that is to take away Americans’ right to own firearms.

I think that’s very inappropriate and I think it’s disrespectful to the families. The fact is, the president has no connection with this community. He has no connection with any of the families. And he made it abundantly clear, Lee, in his opening press statement just – we haven’t even identified bodies. We’ve still got Incident Command trying to contain the scene and he’s holding a press conference 3,000 miles from here telling us that he, almost implying that he single-handedly could have prevented this if the Congress would have listened to him.

And it shows, not only a total disdain and disregard for our Constitution, but our very citizens. And especially those of us right here in Douglas Country. We believe in the Second Amendment. We believe in the whole Constitution.

After spending zero time on gun control during his reelection bid, President Obama made it a top priority of his second term.

But a year after, a Pew Research Center survey found that attitudes were little changed from before the Newton killings. Obama’s plans had fizzled.

And now, a long-term Roper survey finds that public support for gun control laws is lower than it was in 1989, when 65% backed stricter laws. In fact, more now oppose stricter laws than support them.

Writing in the New York Times this week, University of Tennessee law professor and Instapundit blogger Glenn Reynolds tried to explain what, to gun control advocates, appears to be an irrational and illogical response to gun violence.

“I believe the reason is that people don’t trust the government to protect them anymore, and, in fact, that they don’t trust the government in general,” he writes. Nor does the public trust politicians who say they only want to keep guns out of the hands of “criminals and crazies,” not confiscate them from law-abiding citizens.

“If you want more gun control,” he concludes, “you need more trust. And if you want more trust, police and politicians must be more trustworthy. Good luck with that!” (IBD)

Especially, since Ferguson the Left has been hammering Cops as untrustworthy and just a bunch of racists.

After all, the Government in control of all the guns can’t be a bad thing, right? 🙂

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Dunkin’ Donuts is apologizing after one of its employees reportedly wrote #blacklivesmatter on a police officer’s coffee cup.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at a Providence, Rhode Island location. According to a Providence police union, the officer was buying a coffee and the employee serving him seemed “somewhat rude and appeared as though they did not want to serve the officer.”

The cop later discovered that the employee wrote “#blacklivesmatter” on the cup.

The store’s manager said his employee was just joking when she reportedly said, “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here,” in front of other customers.

The incident comes after employees at Arby’s and Whataburger refused service to police officers in separate episodes in September.

blacklivesmatter.jpg

But when someone WITH A GUN, comes in to their Progressive little sanctuary to rob of kill them who they going to call, Al Sharpton!??

As usual, the Left is two-faced and more interested in the Control Freak/Totalitarian Agendas than actual facts or people.

“The negativity displayed by the #Blacklivesmatter organization towards police across this nation is creating a hostile environment that is not resolving any problems or issues, but making it worse for our communities,” The Executive Board of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #3 said in a statement. “They are doing this by increasing tensions amongst police and the people they serve.”

But they are Agenda Holy Warriors, you Racists! 🙂

And the President only furthering his Agenda. Nothing else to see here.

Excuses, Excuses…

One of the lamest excuses for doing nothing is that we can’t do everything. Such excuses have been repeated endlessly, even by some conservatives, when it comes to illegal immigration.

We can’t deport millions of illegal immigrants already living in the country, some say, so the wise thing is to just learn to live with them, according to the supposedly sophisticated crowd.

This completely sidesteps the plain, obvious and galling fact that we are not deporting those illegal immigrants who are arrested by the police for violating other laws — and are then turned loose back into American society.

In so-called “sanctuary cities” across the country, local police are under orders not to report illegal immigrants to the federal authorities.

Nobody has a right to obstruct justice when it comes to federal laws — not even the president of the United States, as Richard Nixon discovered when he had to resign after Democrats threatened him with impeachment and Republican senators told him that they would not defend him.

Today, any mayor of any city of any size across the country can publicly announce he is going to obstruct federal laws against illegal immigrants — and then bask in a glow of self-satisfaction and the prospect of winning votes.

Even people who are gung-ho to punish employers who do not take on the role of immigration police, for which they have neither training nor authority, are often ready to overlook elected officials who do have both the duty and the authority to uphold the laws, but openly refuse to do so.

The federal government itself, under the Obama administration, has refused to enforce immigration laws, and has ordered its own agents to back off when it comes to enforcing some laws that President Obama happens not to like.

Then there is also what might be called the pretense of enforcement — when people who have been caught illegally entering the country are turned loose inside the country and told to report back to a court later on. How surprised should we be when they don’t?

One of the most widely known abuses of the immigration laws is the creation of “anchor babies” to get automatic citizenship when a pregnant woman simply crosses the border to have her child born on American soil.

This is not limited to people who cross the Mexican border. Some are flown in from Asia to waiting posh facilities.

Not only do their children get automatic American citizenship without having to meet any requirements, this also increases the opportunities for other family members to gain admission later on, in the name of “family reunification.”

This is such an obvious racket, and so widely known, for so long, that you might think our “responsible” leaders would agree that it should be stopped. But, here again, there are excuses rather than action.

One distinguished conservative commentator even said recently that this is such a small problem that it is not worth bothering with.

The anger of Americans who feel betrayed by their own elected officials is not a small thing. It goes to the heart of what self-government by “we the people” is supposed to mean. To say that it is a small thing is even worse than saying that we can’t do anything about it. We certainly can’t do anything about it if we won’t lift a finger to try.

Some legal authorities say the 14th Amendment confers automatic citizenship on anyone born on American soil. But the very authors of that amendment said otherwise. And some distinguished legal scholars, including Professor Lino Graglia of the University of Texas Law School, say otherwise.

Even if it were necessary to revise the 14th Amendment, it is sheer Progressive-era dogma that constitutional amendments are nearly impossible to revise, repeal or create. There were four new constitutional amendments added in just eight years, during the height of the Progressive era in the early 20th century.

But it is indeed impossible if you are just looking for excuses for not trying. Republicans who are worried about Donald Trump should be. But their own repeated betrayals of their supporters set the stage for his emergence. This goes all the way back to “Read my lips, no new taxes.” (thomas Sowell)

Boehner: Elect us and we’ll stop ObamaCare

We’ll hold them accountable for Benghazi, The IRS, and more.

Then they don’t.

So comes the Iran Deal…Trust them? 🙂

The Future

Youth: As riots roil Ferguson and Baltimore, a new poll shows it isn’t just inner-city youth who are disaffected. It seems young adults across America are profoundly dissatisfied with the big institutions of their country.

A new Harvard University Institute of Politics poll suggests that 18-29-year-olds have a deep distrust of major American institutions. Such profound distrust doesn’t bode well for our future.

Only the U.S. military and scientists score over 50% when young Americans are asked if they trust them.

To be sure, many of those institutions (see chart) might deserve distrust. The biased mainstream media has plainly done a poor job. So has Congress. And so have local, state and federal government agencies.

Still, it’s disquieting to see that America’s young adults have so little faith in the institutions of the richest, freest nation ever. And the cynicism starts early.

A big part of the blame belongs to 40 years of liberal control of our education system, which, coupled with the decline of intact families, has left an entire generation deeply distrustful of America and the institutions that have, over the years, worked quite well.

From the start, kids are taught a litany: America is racist, greedy and hypocritical. Such instruction alienates them from their society and culture.

Yet the doubt and alienation come despite the fact that many young Americans know little about our nation’s history or how its government works.

Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.

–George Orwell

Newspeak was designed not to extend but to diminish the range of thought, and this purpose was indirectly assisted by cutting the choice of words down to a minimum.

Thus removing any concept or thought pattern not desired by the ruling elite.

How could you have a slogan like “freedom is slavery” when the concept of freedom has been abolished?

“Thoughtcrime does not entail death: thoughtcrime IS death.”

A new survey of eighth graders by the National Assessment of Educational Progress underscores this. It found less than a quarter of those tested are proficient in civics, geography and U.S. history.

Locally, it was reported here that 650 3rd Graders who couldn’t read were going to passed onto the 4th Grade. First of all, if they are roughly 8 years old and they can’t read to begin with is a problem that no one wants to address.

In just a few years they too will be cynical young adults, just as those in the Harvard poll.

“If the next generation doesn’t understand the causes and the purpose of our American Revolution, the reasons for the separation of powers in our government or the role of the states in our federal system, that generation isn’t likely to notice when its liberties slowly slip away and will not be equipped to hold elected officials accountable,” said Roger Beckett, executive director of the Ashbrook Center.

But damn, they’ll know everything about Snap Chat and The Kardashians!

He’s absoutely right. If young Americans do not understand how our system ideally works, they have no way of understanding what’s wrong — or how to fix it.

Which I think was the point all along. But then the old guard dies off and these “feel good” idiots take over the country is doomed.

Unfortunately, our young are deeply susceptible to liberal teachers sneering that “nothing works” in America and that today’s students are victims of social forces beyond their control — race, wealth inequality, gender, whatever — not masters of their own fates.

Are we being too harsh on our education system?

NO.

Not at all. Since the 1960s, K-12 educators have used the Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci’s theories of “cultural Marxism” to indoctrinate kids with poisonous, anti-social ideas — ranging from multiculturalism, political correctness and diversity, to affirmative action, social justice and inequality.

Meanwhile, they relegate fact-based study of history, geography and culture to the academic ash heap.

No longer teaching a fact-based curriculum, left-wing teachers, unions and administrators can fill young heads with all sorts of useless, nihilistic nonsense.

Yes, young adults might be right: Our institutions are flawed and dysfunctional. But they should also know this: In democracy, you get the institutions you deserve. (IBD)

They just think they are “entitled” and “enlightened” because the Left wing has told them so since birth.

Among college-aged Americans, 58 percent report a positive view of socialism and 56 percent a positive view of capitalism. In contrast,  only 28 percent of seniors have a positive view of socialism while 61 percent have a favorable view of capitalism. This may give the impression young people are trending socialist.

However, college-aged Americans are far more supportive of a free market system (72%) than they are of a government-managed economy (49%). Seniors concur with young people on the free market system (74%), while only 28 percent have a positive view of a government-managed economy.

Several forces could likely be at play. First, young people don’t know what these words mean. The fact that they are more favorable toward socialism than a government-managed economy, which if anything is socialism-lite, demonstrates this. Second, young people like free markets and the technology, products, and wealth it creates, but they also want to feel confident the poor have access to what they need. In their minds socialism might simply connote a social safety net rather than government ownership. Third, individuals often trend left in their youth, but may change as they age. Fourth, this cohort of young people may be systematically different from older generations in holding a preference for both markets and government activism. It remains to be determined how this young generation will make the trade-off when markets and government action are at odds. (reason.com)

A Matter of Trust

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies “some of the time” or “most of the time” on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it?

It’s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall.

Asked, “How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?” 37% replied “most of the time” while 24% answered “some of the time.” Twenty percent said, “Only now and then.”

The least popular response was “never,” with only 15% considering our president completely honest when he’s speaking to the nation about big things.

Not only does this mean that 61% believe Obama to be a habitual liar, with most of those believing that most of what comes from his mouth is a lie; it also means that 81% think he has lied as president about important matters at least occasionally.

How could they not? For years, millions trusted him when he swore that “If you like the plan you have, you can keep it. If you like the doctor you have, you can keep your doctor, too. The only change you’ll see are falling costs as our reforms take hold.”

None of that has been true, of course. Yet this same president only last May could be found engaging in a near-self parody.

“Don’t let people confuse you,” he told a group of ObamaCare supporters in the East Room. “Don’t let them run the okey-doke on you. Don’t be bamboozled.”

Even Richard Nixon was not this brazen.

The nation was disgusted with Nixon’s offenses, and public pressure forced him from office. But this latest Fox poll found that Obama’s approval fell to 51% from the 53%-55% range of Fox’s seven previous polls. You have to go back to early October 2013, when it was 49%, to find approval of Obama lower.

German physician Anton Delbrueck, about 120 years ago, decided that a new psychological classification — “pseudologia fantastica” — was required after noting that some of his patients were incessant liars. Whether that explains the last two Democrat presidents, today we might need a joint psychological/sociological study of the mass tendency of the country to accept systematic lying from the highest level of government.

Vote for me, the Other Guy’s an asshole and it’s corollary, I would vote for the other because I’m told he’s an asshole. So I’ll stick with my ideologically comfortable asshole.

The researchers can start with the country’s establishment media. Last week, White House press secretary Jay Carney, interviewed at George Washington University, remarked that during 2012 “probably the toughest interview” Obama was subjected to was the one conducted by funnyman Jon Stewart.”Probably the most substantive, challenging interview Barack Obama had in the election year was with the anchor of ‘The Daily Show,’ ” Carney said. Not “serious” TV interviewers such as Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes,” whose questions of Obama in the heat of the 2012 campaign included:”Where do you go to kind of sort things out on your own? And when do you find time to just be alone with your own thoughts?”Not “Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts, who in May of that election year, while using her interview to provide a nationally televised forum for Obama’s big switch on same-sex marriage — another broken promise — threw this hardball:”Mother’s Day. Sasha and Malia. Do you have plans for Mrs. Obama?”It is disgraceful enough for the most prominent journalists to refuse to ask real questions of the most powerful politician in the country because they share his left-wing ideology. But when a large majority of the public recognizes a president as a habitual liar, it is outrageous and entirely un-American for the most powerful within the nation’s press to let him get away with his lies, and betray what they claim to stand for.

Unless, of course they are the Ministry of Truth which is an Orwellian misnomer and in reality serves the opposite of its purported namesake: it is responsible for any necessary falsification of historical events. The book describes a willful fooling of posterity using doctored historical archives to show a government-approved version of events.
The Ministry of Truth is involved with news media, entertainment, the fine arts and educational books. Its purpose is to rewrite history to change the facts to fit Party doctrine for propaganda effect. For example, if Big Brother makes a prediction that turns out to be wrong, the employees of the Ministry of Truth go back and rewrite the prediction so that any prediction Big Brother previously made is accurate. This is the “how” of the Ministry of Truth’s existence. Within the novel, Orwell elaborates that the deeper reason for its existence is to maintain the illusion that the Party is absolute. It cannot ever seem to change its mind (if, for instance, they perform one of their constant changes regarding enemies during war) or make a mistake (firing an official or making a grossly misjudged supply prediction), for that would imply weakness and to maintain power the Party must seem eternally right and strong.
Which it is.

Obama on the NSA:

“Yes, but what I’ve also said is that it can only work if the American people trust what’s going on. And what’s been clear since the disclosures that were made by Mr. Snowden is that people don’t have enough information and aren’t confident enough that, between all the safeguards and checks that we put in place within the executive branch, and the federal court oversight that takes place on the program, and congressional oversight, people are still concerned as to whether their e-mails are being read or their phone calls are being listened to,” Obama responded.

CUOMO: Especially when they hear that they are and mistakes are made. You know, it shakes your confidence.

OBAMA: Well — yeah, but I think it’s important — for example, this latest revelation that was made, what was learned was that NSA had inadvertently, accidentally pulled the e-mails of some Americans in violation of their own rules, because of technical problems that they didn’t realize. They presented those problems to the court. The court said, “This isn’t going to cut it. You’re going to have to improve the safeguards, given these technical problems.” That’s exactly what happened. So the point is, is that all these safeguards, checks, audits, oversight worked. (WS)

So, starting very soon, The Government will have all your health records and be in charge of your Health Care.

Sure. I trust them! 🙂

trust-me-i-know-what-i-m-doing-2

“Let’s just put the whole elephant out there so people know what they are looking at,” said Obama who argued the government “is not interested in spying on ordinary people.”

One could be forgiven for reading that remark as another way of saying, “You are not worth our time and worthy of our interest.” To which one then thinks, “Maybe not now.”

The issue, of course, isn’t whether or not the government is “interested” in you (and if NSA isn’t, there are certainly other departments, bureaus, divisions, offices, agencies, etc. etc. that are) but what it is constitutionally permitted and not permitted to do even if it should become interested.

The president’s remarks were typically imperious and condescending.  And, furthermore, just who gets to decide who is “ordinary”?

Would that the citizenry could say to the government, on any number of occasions and issues, “Sorry but we’re just not that interested in you. Buzz off.”

President Obama declaratively said, “When it comes to telephone calls, nobody is listening to your telephone calls. That’s not what this program is about.” (WS)

Enough with the “phony” scandals! 🙂

Trust Me. Have I ever lied to you…:)

Less than two months before the health insurance exchanges open nationwide, more Americans disapprove (49%) than approve (41%) ….

The feeling of those in charge of ramming Obamacare through is, evidently, that people will learn to like it once they’ve come understand it and lived with it a little while.

And we either give them no choice or hook them on it like a pimp dealing to their drug-addicted “clients” then the Democrats can use their “you want grandma thrown over a cliff” fearmongering even more.

And there is nothing a Democrat loves more than Fear!

And with a Debt Ceiling fight coming, Fear will be the appetizer, main course, and desert on the Menu.

And you, will have an apple shoved in your mouth and placed on a skewer and roasted over an open flame of hatred, division, and fear.

Nothing to Worry About

Nothing to worry about:

according to the US Treasury, America has closed the books on 2011 with debt at an all time record $15,222,940,045,451.09. And, as was observed here first in all of the press, US debt to GDP is now officially over 100%, or 100.3% to be specific, a fact which the US government decided to delay exposing until the very end of the calendar year. We wonder, rhetorically, just how prominent of a talking point this historic event will be in any upcoming GOP primary debates. And yes, technically this number is greater than the debt ceiling but it excludes various accounting gimmicks. When accounting for those, the US has a debt ceiling buffer of… $14 billion, or one third the size of a typical bond auction.

Nothing at all. 😦

And speaking of Nothing to worry about…

RUBBER STAMP

Probe reveals feds pressuring agents to rush immigrant visas – even if fraud is feared.

Higher-ups within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are pressuring rank-and-file officers to rubber-stamp immigrants’ visa applications, sometimes against the officers’ will, according to a Homeland Security report and internal documents exclusively obtained by The Daily.

A 40-page report, drafted by the Office of Inspector General in September but not publicly released, details the immense pressure immigration service officers are under to approve visa applications quickly, sometimes while overlooking concerns about fraud, eligibility or security.

One-quarter of the 254 officers surveyed said they have been pressured to approve questionable cases, sometimes “against their will.”

The report does not call out any particular officials and indicates that the agency has had a problem with valuing quantity over quality since at least the 1980s.

But high-ranking USCIS officials said the pressure has heightened after the Obama administration appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as director in August 2009 during an effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform, bringing with him a mantra of “get to yes.”

Internal communications provided to The Daily indicate that the new leadership seemed to fundamentally clash with career agency employees over when to afford the benefit of the doubt, culminating in a whistle-blower investigation into a senior appointee and, ultimately, the agency-wide inspector general inquiry that produced the report.

“We recognize their right to interpret things as liberally as possible, but you still have to follow the law,” said one high-ranking official who was unhappy with the current push.

At least five agency veterans seen as being too tough on applicants were either demoted, or given the choice between a demotion or a relocation from Southern California — where their families were — to San Francisco and Nebraska, according to sources and letters of reassignment provided to The Daily.

Those kind of threats have caused lower-level employees to fall in line, sources said.

“People are afraid,” said one longtime manager, who requested anonymity for fear of being fired. “Integrity only carries people so far because they’ve got to pay the rent.”

A rank-and-file officer who was not involved in the investigation claimed he was demoted to working on less technical cases because he had a high denial rate. “They don’t reprimand you, they just move you,” he said.

“They attempted to basically get me to come into line and approve a bunch of cases. And I just wouldn’t compromise myself because the approvals they ordered, they weren’t in line with the laws,” said the officer.

These employees’ claims are reflected in the inspector general report, which found that 14 percent of respondents had “serious concerns” that employees who focused on fraud or ineligibility were evaluated unfairly. The report also found that supervisors sometimes take cases away from an unwilling officer and assign them to someone else, against agency rules.

Recommendations for improvements in the report included raising the burden of proof and doing away with the popular informal and special appeals practices, which immigration lawyers said would only lengthen an already onerous process.

Attorney David Leopold, who was recently president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, said the formal appeals process can take up to two years.

“When you’re dealing with business visas, those visas cannot wait around a year, or two years, for review. They needed an answer yesterday,” said Leopold. “I think when they’ve [the officers] made a mistake at that level … sometimes you can just reason with people and ask them to take a look at it again.”

Nevertheless, USCIS approved 86 percent of the 3.9 million immigration cases it reviewed between October 2008 and October 2009 — a 4 percent drop from the year before, according to the most recent data provided to The Daily.

And immigration attorneys complained that it seems like officers are just looking for reasons to deny a case, and already demand a higher standard of proof than what is required. That standard is now considered a 51 percent likelihood that a fact is true.

“We’re getting ridiculous denials and requests for evidence on things that should be approved very easily,” said immigration attorney Deb Notkin, adding that it’s particularly tough for specialty industries like fashion, software development and graphic design.

The attorneys applauded Mayorkas’ more open dialogue with them, and other proponents of immigration reform, who had previously felt shut out of the bureaucracy. “Mayorkas, to his credit, is very accessible, so we are able to express our concerns about the adjudication process,” said Leopold.

But sometimes, the openness led to a perception that private attorneys were “running” the agency, according to the inspector general’s report, which cited emails in which individual cases were granted special review after private attorneys complained to management.

Mayorkas and Homeland Security press officers said yesterday they could not comment on the allegations.

Homeland insecurity

The Daily has exclusively obtained a Homeland Security Office of Inspector General draft report on fraud detection issues within the agency’s immigration arm. The inspector general interviewed 147 managers and staff at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or USCIS, and received 256 responses to an online survey. Here are some of the findings in the report.

“63 of 254 Immigration Services Officers (24.8%) responded that they have been pressured to approve questionable applications.”

“Several USCIS employees informed us that officers have been required to approve specific cases against their will.”
“Another 35 ISOs (13.9%) had serious concerns concerns that employees who focus on fraud or ineligibility were evaluated unfairly.”

“Cases are sometimes taken away from us and given to officers who the supervisor knows will approve the case … Another survey respondent was threatened with a formal reprimand if a case was not approved as the supervisor required.”

“… data confirm that USCIS was more likely to grant O visa status [for aliens who have extraordinary ability in science, arts, business, or athletics] incorrectly than to deny a legitimate position.”

As I have said often in the past, THE AGENDA IS THE AGENDA and everything else in the universe be damned.

That is the Liberal way.

THE DEMOCRATS

“Part of what 2012 is about is both reminding the American people of how far we’ve traveled and the concrete effects that some of our work … but part of it is also framing this larger debate about what kind of country are we going to leave for our children and our grandchildren,” Obama said.

As part of that reframing effort, Obama caricatured the GOP’s free-market policies as “a different theory that says, we’re going to cut taxes for the wealthiest among us, and roll back regulations on things like clean air and health care reform and Wall Street reform, and that somehow, automatically, that assures that everybody is able to succeed.”

“I don’t believe that” theory, said Obama, who has described himself as a progressive.

Progressives, generally speaking, believe that university-trained managers should manage people’s economic and social lives. Conservatives, including social conservatives and libertarians, object to government-imposed management of the economy and society.

Obama also framed his progressive goals in the populist language chosen for his Dec. 6 speech in Osawatomie, Kansas, saying he was fighting for “an America where [government ensured] everybody had a fair shot, everybody did their fair share; that responsibility was rewarded and that the game wasn’t fixed.”

Only he wants to fix the game in HIS favor, and for the pet projects, like solar panels and “green tech” that get’s the Obama stamp of approval. Pick the Winners and Losers, that’s “free market” to socialists like him. But he’s not going to tell you that. And neither is the media.

It’s all about soaring rhetoric and meaningless double talk about how government should run everything and everyone because after all, government bureaucrats are vastly more “fair” and being dependent on government largess and it’s beneficence is all that you really need in life after all.

Nothing to Worry about.

“If you want to compete in a free market,” he told the campaign workers, “then you should compete on the basis of price and service and quality, not on the basis of somebody not being able to understand what they’re buying,” he declared.

Unless you’re a Non-Union employer, like say, Boeing in South Carolina….

Translation: You were too stupid to understand that when the government forced the banks to lend to anyone with a pulse (because that was more “fair”) and they did it and when the people couldn’t pay it back (as everyone already knew) that was the banks fault!

Capitalists are evil, greedy, tricksters out to screw you and I’m not. 🙂

Government control of everything is much more “fair”.

Nothing to Worry About. Trust Me sssssssssssssssssssssss…….

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz

Republicans are determined to “end Medicare as we know it,” she intoned.  When the moment presented itself, Katie jumped in to ask why Democrats continue to insist on repeating the political “lie of the year,” as determined by the typically left-leaning fact check organization, Politifact.  Wasserman Schultz, visibly perturbed, interrupted the question and launched a meandering answer that hinged on an empty distinction.  Off camera, I chimed in with two quick follow-ups — to which DWS was substantively unresponsive.  Here’s the full exchange, culminating in the Florida Congresswoman throwing in the rhetorical towel.

After reciting a few platitudes, DWS pivoted back into attack dog mode, bitterly demanding that Republicans “sit down and compromise” with Democrats to help preserve Medicare.  Well, as it happens, the very Republican she regularly demonizes has recently done exactly that.  Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin teamed up with lefty Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon to introduce bipartisan legislation that incorporates many elements of Ryan’s original proposals, while maintaining “traditional Medicare” as an option in market-driven exchanges.  It also offers a more generous benchmark for spending increases than Ryan’s 2012 budget called for — a concession to the Left.  Although many conservatives have voiced significant concerns about some of the compromise’s elements, the Wyden/Ryan plan does precisely what DWS claims to crave.  Nevertheless, the White House instantly dismissed it out of hand — they’re too invested in Mediscare as a political strategy to abide any plausible solution.  Does DWS share the president’s opposition to the break-through, consensus-building reform plan?  As the clip reveals, she wasn’t interested in answering that question.  What a surprise.

THE AGENDA IS THE AGENDA!

Nothing to Worry about. As AG Holder famously said, Lying is “complicated”. 🙂

Definition of Marxism: The economic, social, political, pseudo-scientific philosophy, theory, belief, or system based on the works of Karl Marx of Germany. The theory seeks the elimination of the notion of private property in order to gain control of the economic “means of production” by taking it from the bourgeois (the wealthy or propertied class) for the benefit of the proletariat (working class.) His philosophy of history was called “historical materialism” in which his goal was to bring about the end of history, by means of an eventual perfect, classless, utopian society he called Communism.

Mi Casa Su Casa

Surprise! The Pro-Illegal Justice Department thinks Sheriff Joe is being mean to Hispanics. Gee, you needed years for Pro-Illegal liberals to come up with a report that says that?

This is the Justice Department that is actively suing the State of Arizona for wanting to enforce Federal Immigration Laws (much less than what they accuse their favorite Hispanic ‘Nazi’ of). The very same Justice Department that is trying Fast and Furiously to cover up as much of “Fast & Furious” as possible.

The very same that refused to sentence already convicted Blank Panthers of Voter intimidation.

Oh, by the way, it’s been a year now since Agent Brian Terry was killed by a gun the ATF not only let be walked into Mexico, be demanded that it be walked into Mexico!

This is the Pro-Illegal Justice Department that refuses to even arrest most illegals, thus “arrests of illegals are down at the border” they’ll tout as there accomplishment.

It’s “down” so much that they can drop the number of troops on the border to virtually nil.

After all, “it’s more secure now than it has ever been” according to Big Sis.

Have you tossed your cookies yet?

Then you hear this:

Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano has directed ICE to prepare for a mass influx of immigrants into the United States, calling for the plan to deal with the “shelter” and “processing” of large numbers of people.

“The Department of Homeland Security wants a plan to deal with sudden mass migrations of immigrants to the U.S.,” reports Government Security News .

“DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, according to a statement by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, recently directed ICE to develop a national-level mass migration plan. The plan will outline how to address the health care, sheltering, processing, transition and disposition of large numbers of undocumented individuals who might arrive in the U.S. as the result of a mass migration, said ICE on Dec. 13.”

Part of the preparations for sheltering and processing an influx of people includes the construction and manning of detention camps.

Anyone smell rotten bovine fecal matter? And you know that something disgustingly political is coming.

Vote for Democrats, We aren’t Racists!

We’re going to crush the major resistance to our ignoring of border protection so get ready to rush the border and get your freebies.

“Discrimination undermines law enforcement and erodes the public trust,” Napolitano said

Willfully refusing to enforce the law and actively working do just that erodes “public trust” also Janet? But you don’t care about that now do you?

And don’t forget to vote Democrat! 🙂

Welcome all illegals to your United States. Our home is your home.”-Sherriff Joe on Obama’s Justice Department

Mi Casa Su Casa! 🙂

Border we don’t need no stinkin’ borders. Borders are for violent, discriminatory racists!

And you think you’re safe if your already here (and not in the Democrat’s demographics):

The White House is signing off on a controversial new law that would authorize the U.S. military to arrest and indefinitely detain alleged al Qaeda members or other terrorist operatives captured on American soil.

Terrorist? Someone who disagrees with his the Government? 🙂

“By signing this defense spending bill, President Obama will go down in history as the president who enshrined indefinite detention without trial in U.S. law,” said Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch. “In the past, Obama has lauded the importance of being on the right side of history, but today he is definitely on the wrong side.”

But they can come over the border without any enforcement.

So you may be a “terrorist” for advocating we enforce the Border. After all, only racists want to enforce it.

Vote for Democrats, We aren’t Racists!

It is no surprise Democrats, led by Barack Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder are against voter i.d. laws. After all, dead people can’t vote if you ask them to identify themselves. Voter fraud in every election is a concern, but with Obama’s past ties to ACORN and Holder’s abuse of Justice Department power, 2012 is looking like a battle for the ages when it comes to voting requirements and preventing abuse.

In the name of “civil rights,” he’s declared war on a nationwide movement to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

Just this year, eight states have passed new photo-ID laws; more than half now have some form of ID requirement for voting. But Holder has already sicced Justice’s Civil Rights Division on new voter-ID laws in South Carolina and Texas to see if there’s any “disproportionate impact” on minorities. He’s also objecting to reforms in “early voting” in places like Florida, which recently tightened its electoral window.

Liberals have long insisted that voter fraud is a “myth,” and voter-ID laws a plot to suppress turnout among “people who are more likely to vote Democratic, particularly the young, the poor, the elderly and minorities,” in the words of The New York Times.

Now that’s chutzpah coming from New York City, where the organized-crime ring known as Tammany Hall regularly and proudly stole municipal and statewide elections well into the 20th century with its army of “repeaters” — men who altered their appearances by shaving or changing their clothes so they could “vote early and often” — and other tactics.

Nor is it history. Just this week, the chairman of the Indiana Democratic Party resigned in the wake of election-fraud allegations involving forged ballot-petition signatures that are now under investigation.

Nor is it “merely” registration fraud. The Commission on Federal Election Reform, created after the 2004 election and co-chaired by Jimmy Carter and James Baker, uncovered examples of vote-buying, repeat voting and absentee-ballot fraud. As Justice John Paul Stevens wrote in upholding Indiana’s voter-ID law in 2008, “flagrant examples of such fraud have been documented throughout this nation’s history by respected historians and journalists.”

So, while Holder intones that unfettered access to the ballot box “must be viewed not only as a legal issue but a moral imperative,” his real agenda is surely politics: Fraud generally benefits Democratic candidates.

From this point forward, we will here the argument that “Republicans want to prevent minorities from voting and want to go back to the days of slavery. Republicans wanting you to show i.d. at the polls is proof! Minorities in poor communities don’t have access to identification. They’re taking away your right to vote.” (Katie Pavlich)
