7 Year Rash

Today is the 7th Anniversary of this blog. For a long time this year I considered making this one my last because, quite simply, The Stupid Have Inherited the Earth. Intelligence and Common Sense (let alone <gasp> Logic) are Politically Incorrect. Hell, some Leftists have decreed that just saying “politically incorrect” is Politically Incorrect. 😦

So instead I thought I’d revisit one of my favorites from the last 7 years.

This also goes out the #NeverTrump -ers who are so mindlessly obsessed with hating Donald Trump that they are willing Hillary into the White House.

Hate never felt so Right. 🙂

And a special shout out to the Sabotage Republicans (The Establishment ones and their followers) WHO ALSO want Hillary.

The Generations (and possibly permanent) of damage you want to inflict on what’s LEFT of this country is so short-sighted you deserve her.

It will be YOUR fault.

Agree with me or else!

To the future or to the past, to a time when thought is free, when men are different from one another and do not live alone — to a time when truth exists and what is done cannot be undone: From the age of uniformity, from the age of solitude, from the age of Big Brother, from the age of doublethink — greetings! -George Orwell

So with that in mind, cast your mindless adherence to January 21, 2012  and this Blog and see yourselves currently in it also.

THE ZOMBIE HOARD

They are just a zombie hoard.

Remorseless. Merciless. Incapable of shame, morals or ethics.

They want want what they want when they want it and because they want it and will do anything to get it. Relentlessly.

And what they want is YOU. You to be either converted or cow-towed to their every whim. To do whatever they want when they want it.

Evidence John King, the CNN Liberal Moderator of the South Carolina Debate. He opens the debate with a salicious question to Gingrich about his “open marriage” and Gingrich blows him to bits for it and the crowd goes wild.

He did this to prove his “courage” to stand up to the evil “right wingers” and puff out his chest that he was “journalist” and was going to bravely confront the issue. Meanwhile, anything remotely damaging to President Obama is ignored with great speed and spin.🙂

2016: Just Like they do with Hillary. The Debate will be set up to show that Trump is grumpy, unstable and mean. The fact that Hillary is a congenital, sociopathica Liar has no bearing on the debates whatsover.

Their will be more Candy Crowley moments than ever.

And the Zombie hoard will eat it up like candy. “Brains…”

“In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”.- George Orwell.

And their has never been more deceit now than ever in American History and more mindless Zombie Hoards out to make sure “What difference does it make, anyways?”

Rush Limbaugh (who I rarely get a chance to listen to because of my work schedule): Now, let me tell you one thing here, folks: You cannot shame the mainstream media. If any of you are thinking that the media learned a lesson — if any of you believe that the media finally had it handed to ’em, if you believe that the media had their eyes opened and they are fully awake now and they understand what they’re dealing with — forget it. John King is proud of what happened last night. John King is a hero in the Main Street media because he didn’t back down, because he continued to illustrate how it is that the media does really control the agenda. That was a demonstration of the power they hold over every public figure’s head, that they choose to hold like a guillotine. John King… There may even be some jealousy and envy within the journalist ranks (well, not journalists; within the Democrat Party ranks) because John King is a guy that got in Newt’s face, stared him down — and the fact that Newt told him off? It’s a badge of honor. If you are thinking that John King was embarrassed and ran away with his tail tucked between his legs and learned his lesson and it’ll never happen again? Ah, ah, ah, ah. You cannot shame the mainstream media. They are proud of this. They delight in their power to destroy candidates that they don’t like.

And they don’t like anyone who doesn’t cow-tow to them.

2016: They made THEIR Choice. Now it’s you’re Zombie duty to vote for it or else.

“At the end of the day the message to every conservative who hasn’t run for office is: “You want a piece of this? You want some of this? You want Brian Ross hounding you and your ex-wife and then you want me asking you about it on national TV the next night? Come on in. We’re ready.” That’s the message from John King and CNN last night, and do not doubt me on this.”

2016: look at the evidence, every time new “evidence” comes out about Hillary they bury it. Every time Trump even raises his voice or say one less than perfect political phrase they are on it like flies on shit and they stick to it like super glue and blow it up.

mountain

So the alternative is to cow-tow. To live in fear of the Liberal wrath.

2016: To acquiesce. Given in, the Ministry of Truth has the system rigged.

Hell, the Democrats got caught rigging the Primary, blatantly.

No one really cared.

The Zombie Hoard just went, “oh” and moved on. The Media covered it up.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was sacrificed.

End of Story.

#2: Hillary is caught re-handed on the Email Scandal. The FBI even says so. But since Comey has connections to Clinton and doesn’t want to have a mysterious “accident” she is not prosecuted.

Future Hillary Supreme Court Nominee Loretta Lynch, Attorney General and Clinton Cronie refuses to prosecute her.

Other people not connected to Clinton aren’t so lucky.

David_Petraeus

And the reaction from the Zombie Hoard, “Yawn”.

Hillary is still leading in the Polls!

“Brains…”

The Food Police. The TSA. The EPA. The Justice Department. Homeland Security. The FCC.

Because if they can’t make you a zombie, they can at least make you a peasant in fear of your Masters who will not challenge them or not have the power to challenge them.

“[…]you don’t have to be Sun freakin Tzu to know that real fighting isn’t about killing or even hurting the other guy, it’s about scaring him enough to call it a day.”
― Max Brooks, World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War

They’ll just turn your children into zombies instead. 12 years of Grade School and 4 years of College is a lot of Zombie Voodoo time after all. And “getting them while they are young” is entirely within the Zombie Liberal playbook. Make them a zombie before they even know what one is and then make them as immune as possible to any anti-virus and get them addicted to their own Kool-Aid. Feed it to them constantly through the Media and the Internet.

2016: They’ll DEMAND Segregation, “Safe Spaces”, “Diversity” and “Inclusion” mindlessly and will trample Free Speech because they don’t want to be “offended”.

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

WAR (Class, Gender, Race, Religion) IS PEACE

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

Hell, even white people getting a tan will set the little zombie off…

What it does is illustrate that they can be dealt with. But you can’t beat ’em. They’re not gonna be shamed. They’re not going to be shamed into stopping the coverage of conservatives as they do it. It’s going to continue. No matter what kind of shame you think they suffer in a contest like that — no matter how much money they lose, no matter how many of them get fired, no matter how many magazines or TV stations or newspapers get shut down — they are not gonna change. They are hard-core, leftists”

And as I have said over and over again, they are have no morals or ethics because they are governed not by logic and reason but by emotions, mostly the most basic of primitive emotions, Fear, Lust (for power), anger, jealousy, ENVY, etc. –Raw emotions.

2016: THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS!

Which is why when you engage them they sound and act like an immature 5 year old. And as we all know from childhood development the child has to develop a sense of shame by have having boundaries and limitations and consequences. And if they don’t, they will grow up with little to no sense of shame.

disagree

2016: “Microaggressions” anyone?

They are usually called sociopaths. I can call them Liberal Zombies.

2016: And the #Never Trumpers and Establishment RINOs.

Liberals have no shame. They want what they want when they want it because they want it.

2016: And the #Never Trumpers and Establishment RINOs.

“…one of the upsides that isn’t gonna happen is the media saying, “Gosh, we’ve been so mean to these people and so unfair. You know, maybe we ought to start being fair.” That’s not going to happen.

Liberals talk about being “fair” which means you’re being unfair to them and should do what they want.

Liberals talk about “compassion” but it’s to make you feel guilty, not them, and to do what they want.

Liberals will talk about “bi-partisanship” but that just means you have to compromise your principles so they can do what they want.

“Diversity” means you’re evil and need to do what they say to repent for your sins.

2016: “Inclusion” Means you include everything THEY say and do it without hesitation.

They are a remorseless hoard. They want what they want when they want it and on their terms only.

Give them everything they want or they’ll cry, scream, bitch, moan, pout and lash out at you.

2016: “White Privilege” anyone?

That is their primitive zombie hoard mentality. And they want YOU.extremists

Get rid of one zombie, and 10 more will take it’s place. So you have to be ready to do battle constantly.

Look at 2010. The Democrats suffered the worst defeat in 80 years. Does it look like they learned ANYTHING?

No.

As a matter of fact the zombie hoard is even tighter, even more determined than ever. They want it EVEN MORE.

So if we defeat then in 2012 will they go away?

HELL NO!

2016: They weren’t defeated. Even more hoards joined them. So if they are beat in 2016 will they finally be defeated and go away.

HELL NO!

They will just keep coming back like a remorseless zombie hoard until you are overwhelmed.

Which is why you will have to fight them all of your days, your kids days and their kids days until the infection is wiped out.

But like any good zombie plaque it only takes 1 to re-ignite it and spread it all over again.

And these zombies have Media and Internet outlets! (and Europe!)

“Looking back, I still can’t believe how unprofessional the news media was. So much spin, so few hard facts. All those digestible sound bites from an army of ‘experts’ all contradicting one another, all trying to seem more ‘shocking’ and ‘in-depth’ than the last one. It was all so confusing, nobody seemed to know what to do.”
― Max Brooks, World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War

“The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. “Fear,” he used to say, “fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe.” That blew me away. “Turn on the TV,” he’d say. “What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products.” Fuckin’ A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells.

“…We were a shaken, broken species, driven to the edge of extinction and grateful only for tomorrow with perhaps a little less suffering than today. Was this the legacy we would leave our children, a level of anxiety and self-doubt not seen since our simian ancestors cowered in the tallest trees? What kind of world would they rebuild? Would they rebuild at all? Could they continue to progress, knowing that they would be powerless to reclaim their future? And what if that future saw another rise of the living dead? Would our descendants rise to meet them in battle, or simply crumple in meek surrender and accept what they believe to be their inevitable extinction? For this alone, we had to reclaim our planet. We had to prove to ourselves that we could do it, and leave that proof as this war’s greatest monument. The long, hard road back to humanity, or the regressive ennui of Earth’s once-proud primates. That was the choice, and it had to be made now.”

Making Society Better

Allen West: I found a definition of Yin and Yang to be, “In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (also, yin-yang or yin yang) describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.” It appears that our 2016 presidential election cycle is early on being defined by that philosophy. The question is, can this media-driven divide be good for the future of our Constitutional Republic?

In 2008 it was all about the “anti-Bush” sentiment in America – heavily fueled by a complicit media. The rallying slogan was “Hope and Change.” Some of us will never forget the statement, “we are the change that we have been waiting for.” Huh?

Pronoun Trouble… 🙂

None of this was challenged, but embraced as a historical moment that truly was the Yang to the existing Yin. Amazingly, there were little to no questions about policy; just the simplistic retort that “I will not be like the current president.” Furthermore, any challenge to the issue of a lack of policy proposals and experience in 2008 was met with the Alinsky tactic of personal demonization by way of being castigated as racist. And so in 2008 America replaced the Yin with the Yang and we had a new Yin – progressive socialism.

In 2012, the new slogan became “Forward,” and that was even as we recognized that so many quantitative assessments evidenced we were not going forward. We were certainly not progressing, and that situation continues to today. There were deceptions of jobs report numbers and we know that the economy was suffering under one of the most anemic recoveries in American history. But what was most telling was that we actually believed that we were safer; that Islamic terrorism was quelled. That was because Osama bin Laden had been double-tapped by U.S. Navy SEALS. However, the reality was far from being such. And so another deception took place when on 9-11-12 four Americans were abandoned to die in Benghazi – a place which had been destabilized by a horrific intervention by the current administration. Yet the new Yin, aided by a dedicated media campaign told us it was just a video.

So in 2012 we kept the current Yin.

Today, the situation is completely reversed. There is a new Yang that has risen due to the failures of the current Yin. The new slogan is “Make America Great Again.” This Yang has tapped into the evident weakness of the current Yin and has garnered a solid support base. Funny, this new Yang is not being embraced by the liberal progressive media, but its incessant assaults have enhanced the popularity of this new Yang in many aspects. And why is this happening? Simple: because the media clearly established and continues to establish itself as the protector of the progressive socialist ideal in 2008 and 2012. They have lost their credibility.

However, I would caution America to carefully assess whether this new Yang presents any viable policy solutions – similar to 2008.

My concern is that we Americans are once again being driven by media news cycles and not focusing on the prevailing issues or the future of America. Instead of basing our decisions about the future leadership of America on individual personalities, we must seek out a vision. Sadly, the social culture in America forces us to pay more attention to personas rather that principles. Now, I will be the first to admit that consideration of policy solutions may seem boring, but a base understanding is essential.

We have become more drawn to the person than the ideal. And what is lacking is a representation of the embodiment of that American ideal. Some would say that it does not exist, and God knows there are many who are trying to eradicate it – “we are five days away from fundamentally transforming America.”

What is necessary at this time in the current election cycle is for the American electorate to listen, and not be emotional. How do we restore the free enterprise opportunity society in order to get Americans back to work and productive in their own lanes? How do we develop a strategy to defeat militant Islamic terrorism? What needs to be done to reasonably stem the flow of illegal immigrants into America, secure our sovereign borders, yet also streamline our legal immigration system? How do we repair a healthcare system where individual premiums are rising, the individual mandate tax is increasing, and the level of care is decreasing? How do we advance the idea of parents being in charge of educating their children and being responsible for determining their outcomes – not the government?

The current Yin has done an exceptional job at focusing America on emotional “feeling” oriented issues. The reality is that the American public feels less safe. They know their beloved America, the land of individual economic empowerment, is becoming a breeding ground of collective economic enslavement, wealth transfer to grow the dependency society, a playground for social egalitarianism, and abject weakness.

And so we have the rise of the new Yang, a new slogan, but a lack of defined policy vision. The interconnection of the Yin and Yang of politics in America is that demagoguery has no favorite side. It can appear anywhere and finds a way to feed off the other.

As we close out 2015, enjoy a blessed Hanukkah, have a Merry Christmas, and celebrate a joyous and Happy New Year. May your favorite college football team win its bowl game – unless they are playing mine. But was we enter into a pivotal presidential election season, seek out an American leader, not an American celebrity.

Fear is Hope 2014

On the one hand, California U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi claims that Democrats are not “fear-mongers;” on the other hand, she believes civilization is doomed if Republicans take control of the Senate from Democrats in November.

It’s time to go Bat Crazy with Nancy. Same Bat Time (elections). Same Bat Channel (Vote for a Democrats because Republicans are evil assholes!).

The former speaker of the House made those dramatic, incongruous statements on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” which aired live from Washington, D.C. Friday.

Maher asked Pelosi about recent polling which shows that the GOP is likely to take over the upper chamber and asked, given gridlock in Washingon, why it matters that Democrats keep control.

“It would be very important for the Democrats to retain control of the Senate,” Pelosi told Maher. “Civilization as we know it today would be in jeopardy if the Republicans win the Senate.”

Democrats currently hold 53 seats in the Senate. Republicans have 45. Two independents caucus with Democrats.

Maher asked about voter turnout for Democrats, which he asserted was too low to carry the party in the mid-term.

“Nobody comes about to vote to say ‘thank you,’” Maher said. “The people who get health care now — they’re the people least likely to vote. The people who come out to vote are the angry people.”

“That’s true,” said Pelosi. “Fear is a motivator, and we are not fear-mongers. The Democrats are messengers of hope, and that’s what we will continue to be.”

On the one hand, as the president made clear, we’ll be involved in sustained airstrikes against ISIL targets in Iraq, and to the extent necessary, in Syria. We’ll also be building up the capacity of partners on the ground — Iraqi security forces, our Kurdish partners and, also, with the support of Congress, we hope the moderate Syrian opposition.

So we will combine that with a political strategy in support of inclusive and representative governance in Iraq. We will also support the Sunni elements inside of Iraq to take the fight to ISIL, since they are the ones most directly affected by the ISIL terrorism.

And so this will be a political, diplomatic, as well as military strategy. It will involve partners in a broad coalition from the countries in the region who met today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with Secretary Kerry and pledged to support this effort, to partners in Europe and Australia and others in the West. It will be a broad coalition to deal with the threat that ISIL poses.

BLITZER: It sounds like a war to me.

Is it fair to call it a war?

RICE: Well, Wolf, I don’t know whether you want to call it a war or a sustained counterterrorism campaign or — I think, frankly, this is a counterterrorism operation that will take time. It will be sustained. We will not have American combat forces on the ground fighting, as we did in Iraq and Afghanistan, which is what I think the American people think of when they think of a war.

So I think this is very different from that. But nonetheless, we’ll be dealing with a significant threat to the region, to American personnel in the region and, potentially, also to Europe and the United States. And we’ll be doing it with partners. We will not be fighting ourselves on the ground, but we will be using American air power, as we have been over the last several weeks, as necessary. (RP)

“The United States stands shoulder to shoulder tonight with our close friend and ally in grief and resolve,” Obama said.

“We will work with the United Kingdom and a broad coalition of nations from the region and around the world to bring the perpetrators of this outrageous act to justice, and to degrade and destroy this threat to the people of our countries, the region and the world,” he said.

What’s Old Is New Again…Again…

Political Cartoons by Glenn McCoy

Andrew Malcolm: Rather than bother with the messy business of face-to-face negotiations with Republicans over the looming fiscal cliff, Barack Obama has chosen to take Air Force One up to the Philadelphia area today to talk at another adoring crowd.

Because no one’s had enough campaigning yet? 🙂

Obama craves speeches to select crowds, as we wrote here. On cue, someone yells they love him. He loves them back. No interruptions. No impertinent House Majority Leader challenging his arrogance. And Obama need make no concessions to them.

The Democrat will just recite the same stuff off the same teleprompter that he’s been saying for months about taxing the rich more, protecting the middle class from the very deal he made to protect them before and let’s talk about spending cuts next year maybe perhaps.

Air Force One costs about $181,000 per flight hour. Much cheaper to send a DVD up there. But that wouldn’t get Obama video clips on cable TV this afternoon and evening, which he thinks puts PR pressure on Republicans to cave on higher tax rates before el presidente takes his three-week Hawaiian vacation.

In other words, four years after Obama so sincerely promised to change the harsh, noisome ways Washington does — and doesn’t — do business, he hasn’t really changed anything.

However, buried deep in a new CNN/ORC International poll this week sits a hopeful statistical inkling that more Americans are now figuring this machine pol out. Too late to avoid extending the White House lease for Obama’s family and mother-in-law.

But encouraging nonetheless.

Question: “Do you think the country will be better off or worse off four years from now?” A pretty simple measure of Americans’ expectations. Results show the country’s expectations about an Obama presidency have changed dramatically in these past 48 months — and not for the better.

Answer: Four years ago the question found an impressive 76% of Americans figured the country would be better off by now. Silly, silly people.

Well, now barely half (56%) expect life in America to get better, a drop of 20 points, or 26%.

How about people who expect things to stay about the same? Four years ago 4%. Today, only half that.

OK then, how about America’s pessimists who expect things to get worse? In 2008, only 19% thought that. How right they were, eh?

But today, 1,487 days after the United States electorate bought Obama’s Hope and Change bill of goods, the percentage expecting worse things before he’s gone has more than doubled — to 40% expecting negative change.

Doesn’t explain why they reelected him. Nothing but ignorance can do that. But it does show they’re much more realistic now about what he’s going to do this time.

Too Little intelligence. Too Late. And it will be gone by the Finale of “Housewives of New Jersey ” anyhow…
Political Cartoons by Bob Gorrell
President Obama promised to move the country forward, but his so-called deficit-cutting plan looks a lot like good old fashioned tax-and-spend liberal politics to us.It was just a month ago that Obama campaigned on what he said was a record of cutting taxes for the middle class and small businesses, while promising a “balanced” deficit-reduction plan that he specifically said would rely on $2.50 in spending cuts for every $1 in tax hikes. All he wanted, Obama said, was that the rich pay “a little bit more.”

But when he finally got around to presenting that plan to Congress, it turned into a massive $1.6 trillion tax increase — most of which will hit small businesses and $600 billion of which the White House hasn’t specified.

And he’s combined that with no spending cuts at all.

In fact, Obama wants to put off for a year the $1.2 trillion in spending cuts he’d already agreed to, and add $50 billion in new stimulus spending to the pot today. Plus, he wants to permanently raise the debt ceiling.

All on the promise that sometime next year he’ll get around to talking about how to maybe shave $400 billion from entitlement programs in the distant future.

We’ve seen this game many times before. Democrats always pocket the taxes, and then somehow forget about all those pledges to cut spending. Worse, Obama is just whetting the Democrats’ taxing and spending appetites. Even before Obama has managed to win any actual concessions from Republicans on his job-killing tax rate hikes on the “rich,” Democrats are starting to talk up other taxes they’d like to boost.

Bloomberg reported shortly after the election that Obama might consider a new tax on carbon emissions to “help cut the U.S. budget deficit.”

Since Obama’s spending plans far outstrip the money he could possibly raise from the wealthy, the thinking goes, he’ll soon need to find a permanent source of higher revenues. And what better place to go than to tax all those nasty, greenhouse-causing carbon emissions?

The White House has denied it has any proposals along these lines, but the topic keeps coming up in Washington — which means policy makers are seriously considering it.

Meanwhile, Obama’s former chief economist Larry Summers last week argued not only for a carbon tax, but a new tax on unhealthy food. “Mark my words, this one will come,” he promised. And several liberal House Democrats say the rate hikes on the “rich” are “just the beginning.” Among their ideas is to tax all investment income at regular income rates — something even Obama hasn’t pushed . . . yet.

The only risk to Obama is that if the public sees Democrats slathering over new ways to tax Americans, it will spoil his carefully manicured — if completely bogus — image of a fiscal moderate. Rather than play along, Republicans might be wise to start digging out all those old “tax and spend” ads that worked so well against Democrats in the past. (IBD)

I would argue they never went away, they just blamed Republicans for “obstructing them”. 🙂

Political Cartoons by Eric Allie

Please stop me when I get to the Bad stuff about Obama’s 4 years:

1. a Net loss of 1.3 million jobs overall.

2. Higher inflation due to devaluing of the dollar.

3. ANNUAL budget deficits in excess of a Trillion Dollars.

4. 15 million more people on Food Stamps.

5. More People than ever on Social Security Disability

6. Unemployment rate over 8% since February 2009. (the real one-U6- over 11%)

7. No Federal Budget since April 2009. $6 Trillion in NEW Debt.

8. Our Ambassador in Libya is killed and he’s still going on about an irrelevant film. Even though the evidence that it was a terrorist attack is overwhelming. But “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” according ton Obama in front of the UN.

9. More violent Illegal Aliens crossing the border because this administration is openly unwilling to do anything about it.

10. Fast & Furious

11. Health Care cost continue to rise even higher than they would have without Obamacare. And Obamacare is now going to cost 3 times as much as originally “promised” and it is even fully implemented yet.

12. Oh, yeah, it’s all Bush’s/Republicans/Christians/Rich people’s/Business’s Fault!

13. Totally unconcerned about Taxmageddon coming January 1st, 2013. Let alone the ObamaCare TAX.

14. Drones in US cities.

15. Let’s not meet with world leaders because we have opportunities to appear on David Letterman and The View.

16. Executive Fiats are the order of the day. Don’t get what you want, just go around the process. It’s good to be the King.

17. The Mom-In-Chief Michelle Obama will run your diet for you because you’re a moron. Mother Knows Best.

18. Nancy Pelosi: According to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Republicans are trying “suffocate the airwaves, suppress the vote, poison the debate, [so] people throw up their hands and say, ‘I just don’t even know if I want to participate in this.'” But, “we have to keep the campaign positive.”
🙂 And Nancy can’t be wrong, right?

19.  The Middle Class are NOT better off than they were 4 years ago when everything crashed.

Since the economic recovery started in June 2009, household incomes are down 5.7%, the Sentier data show, and they are down more than 8% since Obama took office. (IBD) But that’s Bush’s Fault! :)Four years later, with Obama running for re-election, it’s time to ask Americans: How’s that  Hope & change workin’ out for you?

20. First, the Congressional Budget Office released a detailed report on Obama’s massive electric car program. Its conclusion: The money “will have little or no impact on the total gasoline use and greenhouse gas emissions of the nation’s vehicle fleet over the next several years.”It also found that, even with the $7,500 tax credits, electric cars are a bad buy, costing owners far more over the life of the car than traditional gas-powered vehicles.Translation: Obama’s electric car subsidies are a complete and total waste of money. (IBD)The Chevy Volt (“ObamaCar”) loses $49,000 every time you sell one. Doesn’t that just say it all.

Fifty-five percent of small business owners and manufacturers would not have started their businesses in today’s economy, according to a new poll that also reports 69 percent say President Obama’s regulatory policies have hurt their businesses.“There is far too much uncertainty, too many burdensome regulations and too few policymakers willing to put aside their egos and fulfill their responsibilities to the American people,” said Jay Timmons, president of the National Association of Manufacturers, which commissioned the poll along with the National Federation of Independent Businesses. “To fix this problem, we need immediate action on pro-growth tax and regulatory policies that put manufacturers in the United States in a position to compete and succeed in an ever-more competitive global economy.” (Examiner)

Now go out there, full of Hope and Change and Vote for Obama because you want 4 more years just like this… 🙂

The Liberal Bubble

“The world’s largest emerging economies are no longer in a position to carry the global economy through tough times, as they did during the ‘recovery’ years of 2009-2011,” said China expert Andy Xie. (UK Telegraph)

They don’t want the pain, but if they are going to have it, everyone is going to have it!

Sounds a bit like the Democrats. Give us everything we want or the economy gets it!

The European Union is “like a bubble” – not a financial bubble but a political bubble — that could pop as a result of the euro -zone crisis, Soros said.

“In the boom phase, the EU was what the psychoanalyst David Tuckett calls a ‘fantastic object’ – unreal but immensely attractive,” he said. (NBC)

And this man is an avowed Socialist and a big financial backer of Obama and The Democrats.

The “fantastic object”– “Hope and Change” anyone? 🙂

On Friday, an ugly job market report led to the stock market’s worst day of the year. As the recovery flat-lined, the president conceded to a crowd at a Honeywell factory in Golden Valley, Minn., that “our economy is still facing some serious headwinds” and getting sucked further into Europe’s sinkhole. In depressing imagery for the start of the summer campaign, cable channels carried the red Dow arrow pointing down while Obama spoke; the Dow wiped out all of its 2012 gains.

The president who started off with such dazzle now seems incapable of stimulating either the economy or the voters. His campaign is offering Obama 2012 car magnets for a donation of $10; cat collars reading “I Meow for Michelle” for $12; an Obama grill spatula for $40, and discounted hoodies and T-shirts. How the mighty have fallen.

Once glowing, his press is now burning. “To a very real degree, 2008’s candidate of hope stands poised to become 2012’s candidate of fear,” John Heilemann wrote in New York magazine, noting that because Obama feels he can’t run on his record, his campaign will resort to nuking Romney.

Gee, I wonder who said “Vote for Me! the other guys an asshole!” 🙂 (Hint: me!)

Or that Obama’s only tactic was to try an turn the Republican into a nuclear waste pile because that’s his only option.

And it’s still 5 months to the election.

Democrat Ed Rendell, the former governor of Pennsylvania, wonders how “the best communicator in campaign history” lost his touch.

Notice he said campaign, not leader. Was great at campaigning, still is, but leadership and vision and all of that other stuff….Nope. So it’s time to nuke you until you glow but make you feel good about how good a campaigner and “nice” guy he is.

The president had lofty dreams of playing the great convener and conciliator. But at a fund-raiser in Minneapolis, he admitted he’s just another combatant in a capital full of Hatfields and McCoys. No compromises, just nihilism.

If he wins the election, “the fever may break,” he said. “My hope, my expectation, is that after the election, now that it turns out that the goal of beating Obama doesn’t make much sense because I’m not running again, that we can start getting some cooperation again.”

In his new biography, “Barack Obama: The Story,” David Maraniss writes that a roommate of the young Obama compared him to Walker Percy’s protagonist in “The Moviegoer”: an observer of his life, one step removed.

On CNBC on Friday, Romney complained that Obama has “been more focused on his perspective of his historic legislative achievements than he has been focused on getting people back to work.”

A president focused on historic achievements? Imagine that. But in his lame way, Romney got at Obama’s problem: The Moviegoer prefers to float above, at a reserve, in grandiose mists.

As Maraniss recounts, Obama said he liked reading Hemingway because of Papa’s “integrity of grasping for those times, those visions, that are ones of true magnificence and profundity.”

Cook told Maraniss that she thought Obama’s desire to “play out a superhero life” was “a very strong archetype in his personality.”

But superheroes and mythic figures must boldly lead. Obama’s caution — ingrained from a life of being deserted by his father and sometimes his mother, and of being, as he wrote to another girlfriend, “caught without a class, a structure, or tradition to support me” — has restrained him at times.

In some ways, he’s still finding himself, too absorbed to see what’s not working. But the White House is a very hard place to go on a vision quest, especially with a storm brewing. (Liberal Maureen Dowd)

The storm is Europe. Terrorism.Drug Cartels. Iran.

But don’t worry, Vote for Me! Romney is a white, rich, capitalist elitist misogynist pig and I’m not! 🙂

EDUCATION

Financially struggling schools nationwide are increasing the volume of advertising that children see in the halls, at football games and even on their report cards.

School administrators say that with a public unwilling to adequately fund K-12 education, they’re obligated to find new ways to keep teachers in classrooms.

Examples:

•The college-savings program CollegeInvest signed a three-year deal to advertise on report cards sent home to students in the 85,000-student

Jefferson County Public School District, southwest of Denver.

•Drugstore chain CVS promoted its flu shot campaign in Virginia and Florida schools with signs at football games, posters at school entrances and in district e-newsletters.

•Office supply store Staples this fall will sponsor school supply lists in several California and Texas school districts and provide a coupon for parents, all printed on Staples-branded paper.

Consumer advocates say marketers want to get in front of kids to build customers for life. Kids are especially vulnerable to persuasive advertising while they are still learning how to think critically. (KFYI)

Liberals teach people to think critically, since when?

So coming soon your CVS Pharmacy Central High School!! 🙂

Or The Staples High School Band complete with uniforms to match!

Yeah, things like cutting the waste and over-spending in Administration is not on the table. Nor are the extravagant Teachers Union packages (just look at Wisconsin to see how concerned the Unions are).
Their fat is not on the table, just yours.
Unable to raise enough taxes to fund their extravagance they now want to use Commercial advertising at a time when the Food Police are going insane about Vending Machines (advertising) Soda, Salt, and Fat!!
FAST & FURIOUS

The revelation that Mexico was kept in the dark as the Obama administration pumped thousands of weapons into the hands of criminals in its country – criminals who then used the weapons to kill people – comes after news broke that President Barack Obama thinks it’s part of his job as president to kill people, as detailed in a soon-to-be-released book by Newsweek investigative reporter Daniel Klaidman.

According to excerpts from Klaidman’s book, “Kill or Capture,” former President George W. Bush’s counter-terrorism adviser Richard Clarke told Obama early in his presidency that the job required he get his hands dirty.

“As president, you kill people,” Clarke told Obama, according to the book.

Klaidman writes that Obama was unshaken by that remark.

“An inscrutable Obama looked back at Clarke, not betraying any emotion. ‘I know that,’ Obama told Clarke in an even tone,” the book excerpt reads. “‘He didn’t flinch,’ Clarke later said of the meeting.” (DC)

The liberal world is becoming so unhinged. And we are all going to suffer for it.
But don’t worry, it’s not their fault! Just ask them… 🙂

What was Old Is New Again

Three years ago, President Obama cut a secret deal with pharmaceutical company lobbyists to secure the industry’s support for his national health care law. Despite Obama’s promises during his campaign to run a transparent administration, the deal has been shrouded in mystery ever since. But internal emails obtained by House Republicans now provide evidence that a deal was struck and GOP investigators are promising to release more details in the coming weeks.

“What the hell?” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina, who is now Obama’s campaign manager, complained to a lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in January 15, 2010 email. “This wasn’t part of our deal.”

This reference to “our deal” came two months before the final passage of Obamacare

The email was uncovered as part of investigation into Obama’s closed-door health care negotiations launched by the House Energy and Commerce committee’s oversight panel. (KFYI)

I certainly hope they do.

You are your brother’s keeper and WE are yours. Enjoy.

And from the “It Takes a Village”:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, told an assemblage of human rights and “civil society” activists gathered at the State Department Wednesday that “government cannot and should not” control the lives of individuals.

And she said it with a straight face!

DEBT

Under President Barack Obama, the federal debt has been increasing at a rate of $1,148 per month per American household.

Now that’s Hope and CHANGE. 🙂

The White House and the congressional leaders of both parties in Congress have begun maneuvering this week over the issue of the federal debt and what to do when the government hits the latest statutory limit on that debt–$16.394 trillion—which Congress and the president agreed to when they cut a deal on the debt limit last August.

When the Republicans caved in to the Democrats. And the Republicans are posturing like they did previously so they can cave in end when the Democrats and the Liberal media assault them and they go all weak in the knees and cave in.

The federal debt is currently $15.709 trillion, or about $685 billion below the limit.

The first spending deal the White House and leaders of both parties in Congress made last year was on March 2. On that day, the president signed a continuing resolution to keep the government funded past March 4, when the previous continuing resolution, passed by a lame-duck Congress in late 2010, expired.

The March 4 CR kept the government funded for two weeks and was approved by a bipartisan 335-91 vote in the House and a bipartisan 91-9 vote in the Senate.

Since that March 4, 2011 bipartisan continuing resolution, the federal government has been funded by a series of bipartisan deals cut between the White House and congressional leaders.

In the meanwhile, under these bipartisan spending deals, according to official figures published by the U.S. Treasury, the federal debt has climbed from $14,182,627,184,881.03 to $15,708,753,671,767.64.

That is an increase of $1,526,126,486,886.61.

Given that the Census Bureau estimates there are about 117,538,000 households in the United States, the per household increase in the federal debt since Congress enacted its March 4, 2011 bipartisan spending deal has been approximately $12,984. (CNS)

The drug addicts are still getting their fix and come January, MASSIVE Tax increases because the Bush Tax cuts expire, the payroll tax breaks expire and the Debt Ceiling is reached.

Gee, I wonder if that timing was deliberate? 🙂

But don’t worry, if Romney wins, it will be the Republicans Fault. If Obama Wins, it will be Bush’s Fault! 🙂

VP Biden just days ago: When you’re out of work, man, it’s a depression. And a lot of people are still hurting because of this god-awful recession we inherited that cost 8.4 million jobs before we could really get going. And so I don’t blame people, they’re frustrated, they’re angry…

OBAMACARE

“In his talk to Protestant ministers,” Sebelius said, “Kennedy talked about his vision of religion and the public square, and he said he believed in an America, and I quote, ‘where no religious body seeks to impose its will directly or indirectly upon the general populace or the public acts of its officials; and where religious liberty is so indivisible that an act against one church is treated as an act against us all.’”

But the Government can force you and religious institutions to act against their general will because the government is all-powerful and besides you don’t want to elect a cultist Mormon now do you???

Irony is always lost on Liberals.

Sebelius told the students that to engage in debates, such as ones dealing with religion and public policy, will require them to follow their “own moral compass.”

But her own Catholic compass was broken by her ego to be the Minister of Health to all the unwashed, uneducated, and untamed masses.

And if this “compass” conflicts with Government you lose every time they want you to believe it doesn’t, so go ahead, have your “moral compass” then do what the government demands of you, serf, or else the IRS will be coming to your door and you will have to pay a fine to your Lords and Masters!

“It will also require the ethical skills you have honed–the ability to weigh different views, to see issues from others points of view, and in the end, to be true to your own moral compass.”

I’m just blathering platitudes  I don’t mean but “feel” good to say now because I’m and the Supreme Overlord of Health Care and you will do as I say regardless.

It kind of reminds you of Obama and his speeches about unity, and civility that were a total joke and he knew it. But it sounded good.

“The conversations can be painful, But it’s through this process of conversation and compromise that we actually move forward, together, step by step, towards that ‘more perfect union.’”

That’s why we rammed it down your thought in the most partisan bitch fight in US history!!

Liberal concept of Compromise: You give in, we don’t, we win. 🙂

BUDGET

Oh, and Obama’s much heralded budget when down in flames yet again because it wasn’t a serious attempt anyhow it was just a show piece and a fraud so voting it down is just a game to be played while the Democrats ignore the Budget.

1,127 days without a Federal Budget!

The White House dismissed the vote entirely as a gimmick.

Ah, the good old days are here again. 🙂

In each of the last 12 years, Gallup has run surveys asking Americans: “In general do you think the news media are too liberal, just about right, or too conservative.” Every year, between 44 and 48 percent have said “too liberal.” The largest percentage that ever said “too conservative” was 19 percent in 2006.

This recession has been more brutal, the job losses steeper,” he said. “Politics seems nastier. Congress more gridlocked than ever. Some folks in the financial world have not exactly been model corporate citizens.

“No wonder that faith in our institutions has never been lower, particularly when good news doesn’t get the same kind of ratings as bad news anymore,” Obama said. “Every day you receive a steady stream of sensationalism and scandal and stories with a message that suggest change isn’t possible; that you can’t make a difference; that you won’t be able to close that gap between life as it is and life as you want it to be.”- President Obama

And that’s just Republicans, Bush and evil “rich” people!!! So imagine how much better life would be without them. Hope & Change 2012.

Imagine what I can do for you if Government control everything and everybody every minute of every day! It will be Nirvana!

President Obama referred to the Constitution’s ability to help those who had originally been left out to fight their way in, especially when it came to unresolved race and gender rights. Obama likened the Constitutional to a “constant forward movement” in his commencement address to the women-only Barnard College.

“What made this document special was that it made it possible for those who were left out to fight their way back in a constant forward movement,” Obama said. “We look forward, not back.”

Obama’s campaign slogan, FORWARD, was introduced last month.

As long as you’re not a right wing religious bigoted misogynist rich white male capitalistic pigs that is. And you get past the 8%+ unemployment for over 3 years the net loss of millions of jobs, inflation,The EPA, The IRS,Obamacare,The FDA,HHS,The Labor Dept, The Justice Department, Illegal Aliens, your potential boss being a capitalistic greedy pig, FICA, and not being too successful. 🙂

Is Ann Romney under attack for being a mother? To me, it’s still kind of amazing that they’re still milking this thing. You know?” Newsweek and Daily Beast columnist Michelle Goldberg said on MSNBC.”

They started it. Now they, want it to go away because it didn’t work. But Blaming Bush 4 years later is still in vogue with Liberals. Funny how that worked out.

“The other part of it is that it plays into this thing of what we, you know. We have this kind of compact in the United States, where what we deny women in social support, or status or kind of economic security, we make up for in, in sort of insipid condescending praise,” Goldberg concluded.

Wow, what a Loon! Now wonder Obama is now a “Gay” President!

From Democratic Party Attack Pit Bulls Moveon.org: “Congratulations, Mitt Romney! You’re the presumed GOP nominee
and all you had to do was threaten to let our employers take away our contraception coverage threaten to let our insurance companies charge us more, just because we’re women and threaten to get rid of Planned Parenthood, a life-saving source of healthcare for million of women So this November, we’re gonna remember how you threw women under the bus, just to get the nomination.”

Talk about “condescending praise” 🙂

On Monday, in New York City, the president attended a fundraiser presided over by Hamilton James, the president of the fifth-largest private equity company in the world, the Blackstone Group, L.P.

How you made your money is evil, but to get re-elected The president is more than happy to take lots of cash others made in the same way as Romney and these people. Evil 1%ers all.

It’s evil when it’s a Non-Liberal. But when it’s a Liberal it’s beyond question.

Fascinating how that works.

Energy: The Government Accountability Office tells Congress the Green River Formation out West contains an “amount about equal to the entire world’s proven oil reserves.” So why are we keeping it locked up on federal lands?

Exploding the Big Lie pushed by President Obama that we can’t drill our way out of high gas prices because we have but 2% of the world’s proven oil reserves, Anu Mittal, GAO director of natural resources and environment, testified before Congress last week that just one small part of the U.S. is capable of outproducing the rest of the planet.

That small part is known as the Green River Formation, the world’s largest oil shale deposit, and is located in a largely vacant region of mostly federal land on the western edge of the Rocky Mountains that includes portions of Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.

As we have written in our “Oil And Gas/Fact And Fiction” series, the Green River Formation has been dubbed our Persia on the Plains, an area with technically recoverable oil in an amount estimated at four times the proven resources of Saudi Arabia.

Given that current U.S. daily oil consumption is running at 19.5 million barrels, the staggering amount of Green River reserves would by itself supply domestic oil consumption for more than 200 years. That sure blows the heck out of the “peak oil” theory that the world is running out of oil.

According to Mittal’s testimony before the House science subcommittee on energy and the environment, the U.S. Geological Survey “estimates that the Green River Formation contains about 3 trillion barrels of oil, and about half of this may be recoverable, depending on available technology and economic conditions.”

According to the president’s bizarre formulation, this oil does not count as a “proven” reserve because little drilling has been done. There is a reason for that. As Mittal testified: “The federal government is in a unique position to influence the development of oil shale because 72% of the oil shale within the Green River Formation lies beneath federal lands managed by BLM (Bureau of Land Management).”

The Obama administration also is in a unique position to block shale oil development. And while it says we can’t drill our way to energy independence, it blocks drilling wherever it can. When it can’t, as in the Bakken Formation centered on North Dakota, the economy booms and joblessness falls as oil is extracted from shale on private and state lands.

More:

The Green River Formation, a largely vacant area of mostly federal land that covers the territory where Colorado, Utah and Wyoming come together, contains about as much recoverable oil as all the rest the world’s proven reserves combined, an auditor from the Government Accountability Office told Congress on Thursday.

The GAO testimony said that the federal government was in “a unique position to influence the development of oil shale” because the Green River deposits were mostly beneath federal land.

It also noted that developing the oil would have an environmental impact and pose “socioeconomic challenges,” that included bringing “a sizable influx of workers who along with their families put additional stress on local infrastructure” and “making planning for growth difficult for local governments.”

“The Green River Formation–an assemblage of over 1,000 feet of sedimentary rocks that lie beneath parts of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming–contains the world’s largest deposits of oil shale,”Anu K. Mittal, the GAO’s director of natural resources and environment said in written testimony submitted to the House Science Subcommittee on Energy and Environment.

“USGS estimates that the Green River Formation contains about 3 trillion barrels of oil, and about half of this may be recoverable, depending on available technology and economic conditions,” Mittal testified.

“The Rand Corporation, a nonprofit research organization, estimates that 30 to 60 percent of the oil shale in the Green River Formation can be recovered,” Mittal told the subcommittee. “At the midpoint of this estimate, almost half of the 3 trillion barrels of oil would be recoverable. This is an amount about equal to the entire world’s proven oil reserves.”

While it is true that the shale oil is “recoverable,” the cost of extracting the oil from the shale would make any large scale operations prohibitively expensive at this time. It takes a tremendous amount of heat and pressure to recover the oil from shale – extractors would expend almost as much energy removing the oil, refining it, and bringing it to market than the oil itself would generate.

But instead of innovation to make it happen & jobs we need more Solyndras and Wind Farms! 🙂

That’s the The Ticket!

Hope That Changed

If any day should make you want less government and less spending this should be the day.

Unless, you’re a Liberal that is.

Carolyn Kaster / AP

Carolyn Kaster / AP
MR “HOPE & CHANGE”. The “UNITER” The President for  all America, not just RED or Blue.
Mr,. Post-Partisan. Post-Racial. Mr. “fair”.
Mark Steyn: In the end, free societies get the governments they deserve. So, if the American people wish to choose their chief executive on the basis of the “war on women,” the Republican theocrats’ confiscation of your contraceptives or whatever other mangy and emaciated rabbit the Great Magician produces from his threadbare topper, they are free to do so, and they will live with the consequences.
Look what “Hope and Change” brought us… 😦
According to the Congressional Budget Office (the same nonpartisan bean-counters who project that on Obama’s current spending proposals the entire U.S. economy will cease to exist in 2027) Obama’s Buffett Rule will raise — stand well back — $3.2 billion per year. Or what the United States government currently borrows every 17 hours. So in 514 years it will have raised enough additional revenue to pay off the 2011 federal budget deficit. If you want to mark it on your calendar, 514 years is the year 2526. There’s a sporting chance Joe Biden will have retired from public life by then, but other than that I’m not making any bets.At the current pace of spending government will have spent by then  – $65,528,575,000,000,000.00

Anyone for more taxes and spending? 🙂

What the president meant to say was: “It will help us close our deficit … for 2011 … within a mere half-millennium!” (Pause for deafening cheers and standing ovation.)

The current federal debt burden works out at about $140,000 per federal taxpayer, and President Obama is proposing to increase both debt and taxes.

Are you one of those taxpayers? How much more do you want added to your $140,000 debt burden? As the Great Magician would say, pick a number, any number. Sorry, you’re wrong. Whatever you’re willing to bear, he’s got more lined up for you.

Your share of federal deficit grows by $50 per day.

The Obama No-Plan plan means the end of everything. That really ought to be the only slogan the Republicans need this fall:

What’s your plan? And all you hear are crickets chirping.

But don’t worry, they’re federally funded crickets, chirping at a research facility in North Carolina investigating whether there’s any correlation between chirping crickets and the inability of America’s political institutions to effect meaningful course correction.

Hey, relax. The Buffett Rule will pick up the tab.

And your kids and grandkids and descendents ad infinitum, well, they are just a wealth waiting to be taxed to death for their own good and for the almighty “fairness”.

Andrew Malcolm: Has anyone seen Barack Obama recently?

You know, the optimistic hopeful fellow with the charming smile who promised so many positive things four and five years ago, how he was going to change the harsh, partisan tone of our nation’s capital and bring the country together as its first African American president.

Even allowing for political hyperbole, his empty resume and the invisible witnesses from the past, Obama was such a Real Good Talker that even some who didn’t vote for him still had hope that he could change some things for the better in what seemed a sadly-splintered society.

WTH did that Obama go? Have you listened recently to this Chicago Doppelganger who’s replaced him? This 2012 Obama is strident and mean, even deceitful, divisive, telling half-truths after half-truths. He’s using Air Force One as his personal Brinks truck with wings to collect cash all over the country, disguising the trips as official.

He tries to intimidate the Supreme Court, an equal branch of government, when its thinking might stray from his. He distorts history, and if no one calls him, then it’s true. If he’s caught, this Obama says you obviously mis-heard. Because, as everyone knows, he could never mis-speak.

The economy, like everything else adverse, is someone else’s fault. But if only we borrowed and spent a trillion dollars, unemployment would stay beneath 8%, Obama promised. It soared far above. It’s still above. No apology. No acknowledgment. Now, he hails any dip as proof of progress when, in fact, it comes because so many just give up seeking work.

He chastises House Republicans for their draconian budget when his Senate Democrats haven’t written a single one in three years; so, the fiscal drift abides. And wait till he exaggerates the frightening things the GOP wants to do, instead of presenting his own ideas.

Obama claims credit for the bottom half of a pipeline he had nothing to do with, when he killed the top half. He brags that domestic oil drilling is up when the part he’s responsible for is down.

He says no one should ever go to Las Vegas on the taxpayer’s dime. Then his wife, daughters and entourage do just that.

This year’s Obama talks of the importance of windmills, algae and green energy, but he takes a 17-SUV motorcade to a photo op with an electric car. He lambasts oil companies for getting the same legal tax incentives (he calls them “subsidies”) that other companies receive, hoping to aim anger at them so voters won’t notice that gas prices have doubled since his inauguration with Honest Abe’s Bible.

Take this Tuesday. The 2012 Obama flew to Florida for an official presidential speech on the economy, then three fundraisers. That way his campaign only pays a fraction of Air Force One’s $182,000 per flight hour cost. All presidents do that, though none have done near as many.

But read the four speeches. You can’t tell which is official and which is political. They’re all political. He can’t be a real president for one lousy speech? Why the phony presidential fig leaf? To chintz the United States of America out of a few thousand bucks when he plans to raise a billion?

The Buffet Rule? Americans have always admired the successful. The only thing wrong with rich people is we’re not one of them — yet. But now he’s pitting most of us against rich folks, which is him, come to think of it. The only way he’s bringing us together now is to resent their paying a smaller legal rate because theirs is a different kind of income.

And speaking of taxes, whch are due Tuesday, how can the president of the United States allow 36 of his own White House aides to fall $833,000 behind in their tax payments?

How is that what the first Obama offered, making him an example of American success? (Hint: His GOP opponent is far richer than Obama and earned it the old-fashioned way through work, not fronting books.)

OK, Obama wants political skirmishes all over on any petty thing so people won’t notice the absence of any conceivably positive record to run on. Risky when Americans start paying attention. But if that’s his only card. It’s all the Republicans’ fault, of course. That’s the candidate in him, the one that prefers performing for adoring crowds instead of performing Oval Office duties.

But whatever happened to the president part? The leader. The principled man who through his personal story, skills and charm was going to inspire, convince, cajole Americans as diverse as himself to work together for a common national success? That official part has merged with the political, like the four Florida speeches. Now, he’s just trying to fool everybody about everything.

In a way, this could be good news for Republicans. The duplicate Ernst Blofeld makes Mitt Romney look like Mr. Rogers.

But without real presidential leadership, Obama’s hand-picked harpie atop the Democratic National Committee feels empowered to assign a hired gun to dismiss his opponent’s wife, the cancer-surviving mother of five sons, as someone who’s never worked a day in her life. Are they that scared already?

Seriously? We’re going to pit now one kind of working woman against another? The guy who talks about having so many women in his life isn’t going to fire the women responsible for that? He thinks American women will buy this stuff?

OK, Obama was raised by grandparents because he didn’t always have a stay-at-home mom or dad. But this is a nation, not a dysfunctional family or a windy city party where factions are left to their own wards and Solyndras.

Obama is the guy who said his own wife was off limits politically, the guy whose mother-in-law has resided since Day One in the White House at taxpayer expense as a live-in nanny so the first lady can campaign for money and healthy foods? But a woman who stays at home with her kids at no public expense can be trashed because of her party?

We were never exactly fond of the Original Obama. But we’d take him any day over the twilight character that inhabits the Oval Office now.

But some how this will probably be “racist” and re-edited by NBC… 🙂

The Virtues of Mindlessness

Occupy Socialism Update:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Crowd: [Cheers.]

Incredibly, he praises the massacres of the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror rather than Gandhi’s nonviolent philosophy.

And the crowd laps it up.

Every single day, more videos emerge from the Occupy movement showing people saying things that, if they had been said by a Tea Partier, would have been front-page news for weeks and discredited the movement forever. But since it’s the Occupy Wall Street movement, darlings of the media and Democratic politicians, they get a pass. (PJM)

Gandi is tool of the elites to keep the masses from revolution (the non-violence is mollifying the masses). Think about that one for a moment. Then, be afraid. Be Very Afraid.

Now imagine someone from the Tea Party even hinting at this and what the “outraged” liberal media would do. After all, we are called “racists” for daring to even disagree with the Spend Even More Crowd so you can imagine this can’t you? 🙂

David Brooks, New York Times: If there is a core theme to the Occupy Wall Street movement, it is that the virtuous 99 percent of society is being cheated by the richest and greediest 1 percent.

This is a theme that allows the people in the 99 percent to think very highly of themselves. All their problems are caused by the nefarious elite.

Unfortunately, almost no problem can be productively conceived in this way. A group that divides the world between the pure 99 percent and the evil 1 percent will have nothing to say about education reform, Medicare reform, tax reform, wage stagnation or polarization. They will have nothing to say about the way Americans have overconsumed and overborrowed. These are problems that implicate a much broader swath of society than the top 1 percent.

They will have no realistic proposal to reduce the debt or sustain the welfare state. Even if you tax away 50 percent of the income of those making between $1 million and $10 million, you only reduce the national debt by 1 percent, according to the Tax Foundation. If you confiscate all the income of those making more than $10 million, you reduce the debt by 2 percent. You would still be nibbling only meekly around the edges.

The 99-versus-1 frame is also extremely self-limiting. If you think all problems flow from a small sliver of American society, then all your solutions are going to be small, too. The policy proposals that have been floating around the Occupy Wall Street movement — a financial transfer tax, forgiveness for student loans — are marginal.

The Occupy Wall Street movement may look radical, but its members’ ideas are less radical than those you might hear at your average Rotary Club. Its members may hate capitalism. A third believe the U.S. is no better than Al Qaeda, according to a New York magazine survey, but since the left no longer believes in the nationalization of industry, these “radicals” really have no systemic reforms to fall back on.

They are not the only small thinkers. President Obama promises not to raise taxes on the bottom 98 percent. The Occupy-types celebrate the bottom 99 percent. Republicans promise not to raise taxes on the bottom 100 percent. Through these and other pledges, leaders of all three movements are hedging themselves in. They are severely limiting the scope of their proposed solutions.

They have no sense of the economic reality in which the world lives; hence their magic solution to everything is “tax the rich.”

The perfect illustration was a sign in the background from a protester that I saw yesterday on TV, “TAX THE RICH UNTIL THEY ARE POOR”.

Doesn’t that sum it up in one sentence. The naivete, the self-limiting,loathing greed for other people’s money. The complete lack of reality. The desire to have everyone else kiss THEIR butts and do everything for them. They deserve it.

You race a generation believing they are entitled and full of narcissism and “fairness”, this is what you get.

“Tax the rich, feed the poor, till there are no rich no more… I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do, so I’ll leave it up to you.”–Apparently from a song-Ten Years After’s I’d Love To Change the World. I’ve never heard of it myself. But then again, I am older and not a leftist zombie either.

Mindless Entitlement. Mindless Narcissism. Mindless Sloth.

This “movement” has no real solutions. Just more mindless Progressive Liberal socialism as pablum for the mindless. It sounds good. It sounds “fair”. The generation raised to be politically correct mindless zombies who found out that the world doesn’t work the way they want it to so they are going to pout and whine until they get their way. After all, you don’t want to be “unfair” now do you!? 🙂

Liberals have gotten it into their heads that the government should be some kind of cosmic Robin Hood that takes money from the rich and distributes it to the poor.

After all, Just this week Obama said you can’t possibly succeed in life without Mama Government. And Elizabeth Warren running for Scott Brown’s seat in Massachusetts said Business can’t possibly succeed without the government.

And Mama is always “fair”. 🙂

What such an idea does is it takes the incentive to make money away from the rich (because they don’t get to keep their money) and it takes the incentive to make money away from the poor (because they can just sit on their couches and collect government checks every month).

The old parable about “Give a man a Fish you fee him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” is true. And the Occupiers and the Liberals want all the Fisherman to give them their fish because they are entitled to them. Period. End of story.

This Week, you ask? Try, February 2011.

Oh, and the left’s latest childish reference to those who disagree with their Socialism, they call them the “Reich Wing”. Godwin’s Law strikes again.

But don’t worry, the Liberal Media is all gaga for these people. And you’re just a heartless, mean, cruel, racist, Reich Winger if you don’t feel the same way as they do.

The fact that they have no actual solutions that in anyway even remotely realistic doesn’t matter. You must be of “The Body” as an old Star Trek episode once said. And if you aren’t of “the body” you must be a foreign parasite that must be crushed. After all, the 99% are the purist of driven snow and above you grubby little greedy elite-loving people. 🙂

You want to tax the rich?

How about General Electric?

They are rich, right?

They are also very, very tight with the Obama administration. Jeffrey Imhelt is the “Job Creation Czar” and his company made $14 Billion Dollars and paid no taxes whatsoever. But you want to see a Liberal stammer, bring this up.

But when you organize a society in such a way that a majority can vote for the wealth of the minority to be transferred into their pockets you are asking for trouble.

If you raise taxes on the rich and give more handouts to the poor is that going to provide them with jobs?

No.

If you raise taxes on the rich and give more handouts to the poor is that going to give them dignity?

No.

If you raise taxes on the rich and give more handouts to the poor is that going to create more businesses and spur more economic activity?

No.

Yes, we always need to help the poor and those that cannot help themselves.

However, what we have created is an “entitlement society” where the majority of Americans now receive direct payments of money from the government.

As millions more Americans climb aboard the “safety net” each year, it is eventually going to get to the point where all of this government welfare is going to destroy this nation financially.

But our politicians love the current tax system.

Why?

For one thing, it gives them the ability to exert tremendous social control over the rest of us.

And since most of our politicians are control freaks, they absolutely love to engage in social engineering.

Is there a behavior that they don’t like?

They just tax it.

Is there a behavior that they want to promote?

They just give us a tax break for it.

The rest of us end up running around like chickens with our heads cut off as we attempt to play the little social control games that they have constructed for us. (endofamericandream.com)

Face it, the liberals want your money so they can control you. They want your health care so they can control you. They want your food because they want to control you. They want your car because they want to control you.

Rather than loving each other and working together to rebuild America, the people of this nation are being taught to hate one another and attack one another.

It’s that simple. That Mindless. Like a Zombie coming for you.

“There’s a word for that kind of lie. Hope.”
― Max Brooks, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War

Hope & Change! 🙂

FEAR IS HOPE

Political Cartoons by Glenn McCoy

Distraction 101

The US economy created no jobs and the unemployment rate held steadily higher at 9.1 percent in August, fueling concerns that the US is heading for another recession.

You mean the other one was over?? Since When?

It was the first time since World War II that the economy had precisely net zero jobs created for a month.

But don’t worry, Obama will ride in with his speech and save us all! 🙂

More Spending, that’s what we need! (insert  orwellian euphemism for more spending here)

More Taxes!  (Insert Orwellian euphemism)

More Regulations!

That’ll fix everything!

The unemployment rate that counts those not looking for work rose to 16.2 percent, tied for the highest in 2011.

Teleprompter One will save us!!

That is, if anyone is watching since the NFL Season Premiere is on at the same time. 🙂

Watch Obama spout off about more Taxing and Spending, hidden under new Orwellian Euphemism or watch the Packers vs The Saints?? And I’m not a sports fan…Gee, tough tough choice…Anyone for some cheese (and I don’t mean Obama) 🙂

The average duration of unemployment edged lower to 40.3 weeks from its previous record high of 40.4 weeks in July. However, the median level spiked from 21.2 to 21.8 weeks.

We, the Government have to create jobs! The Private sector is too evil and greedy to do it. Mind you, those jobs are paid for by TAXES. So we need to Tax More and Spend More and everything will be just Utopian when everyone is on the government dole or payroll!

He wants to speak before Congress because he recognizes that while there are things he can do without Congress, and he will do them, there are actions that need to be taken with Congress that require legislation to grow the economy and create jobs. –White House Spokesman Jay Carney

Howard Fineman on Campaign 2012:“It’s not going to be a ‘Morning in America’ campaign, it’s going to be a darkness at midnight campaign about the Republicans. It’s going to be about the fact that the Republicans in Congress pushed Paul Ryan’s bill Medicare, about how they pushed Cut, Cap and Balance. It’s about how Republicans wanted to dismantle Wall Street reform. It’s going to be about how the Republican presidential candidates have embraced the Tea Party.”

“Those are going to be the two central messages of a campaign that’s mostly going to be about attack. I think this is — just like 2008 was in some respects an uplifting campaign, from both sides, this one is going to be down and dirty from the beginning from both sides.”

No More “Hope and Change” it’s time it’s all out Armageddon!

Yeah, like Democrats wouldn’t want to defend their record of failure.

Oh, and the religious right want to create a Theocracy in America so you better vote Democrat! 🙂

Christians are evil! (Muslims like the sheik in yesterday’s blog–not so much).

Mormons are Cultists!

And Teabaggers are “terrorists” and “racists”

So you better vote for a Democrat. Vote for me (The Democrat) because the other choice is for Hell on Earth! And you don’t want that now, do ya boy…

That’s Campaign 2012 in a Liberal nutshell. And Just think we have 14 Months to go, imagine what the Armageddon speak will be like a year from now!!

The executive editor of the New York Times, Bill Keller, concludes that “an unusually large number” of Republican candidates “belong to churches that are mysterious or suspect to many Americans.” Perry and Bachmann, in particular, are connected to “fervid subsets of evangelical Christianity,” which Keller says “has raised concerns about their respect for the separation of church and state, not to mention the separation of fact and fiction.” Fearing that Perry or Bachmann could be a “Trojan horse” for a religious takeover of the government, Keller advocates strict questioning of candidates on doctrinal issues.

The Boogeyman is coming to get you! You better watch out!!

But don’t you dare talk about how badly the Democrats have screwed this up, and neither will the Mainstream Media.

Example: Since the Media is all of the sudden very obsessed with the religion of Presidential Candidates where were they when Senator Obama & Jeremiah Wright broke out??

They were very quickly covering it up and yelling “racism”!

Funny how that happens.

Put aside whether there is some bias against Christianity in these baseless charges, or whether liberals are proposing the kind of religious test for office that the Founders explicitly rejected. It has often been remarked that, given today’s terrible economy, Barack Obama cannot run in 2012 on the theme of hope, as he did in 2008. With his record, he’ll have to run on fear — that is, on convincing voters that Republicans are just too scary to elect.

This is what running on fear looks like. Could the president’s political strategists be anything less than delighted with the work of Keller and his colleagues?

Out on the campaign trail, Democratic activists are trying to maneuver the candidates into statements to feed the Republicans-are-religious-nuts narrative. For example, in New Hampshire a few weeks ago, a young boy approached Perry with a series of questions about science. How old is the Earth? the boy asked. As Perry answered (he said he didn’t know), the boy’s mother pushed her son to confront the governor. “Ask him about evolution,” she ordered the boy. “Ask him why he doesn’t believe in science.” Perry’s answer — that evolution is a theory that has “some gaps” — provided more material for Keller and the subject-changers.

Elsewhere on the trail, so-called “trackers” from the liberal think tank Center for American Progress, David Brock’s American Bridge, and other organizations follow Republicans around, sometimes posing out-of-the-blue questions in hopes of throwing a candidate off message. “It’s all about homosexuality, Islam, anything that is remotely sensitive socially,” says Ellen Carmichael, spokeswoman for frequent target Herman Cain. “That’s what they usually ask about.”

Get the sound bite, manipulate it, play it 24/7/365 .  Ta Da! Instant slag-pile politics. The dirtiest of the dirty. Who cares about truth. This is the politics of personal destruction on a nuclear scale.

Do you think they care?

NO! They don’t.

Win at any cost. Fear trumps logic. So go for full on 24/7 fear.

Fear.

Fear.

Fear.

Vote for me, the other guy/gal is an asshole to be feared because I say so. So what if our candidate is a bigger failure than Jimmy Carter at least he’s not a “racist” “terrorist” Teabagger” Christian or Mormon! 🙂

FEAR IS HOPE!

Will these diversionary efforts succeed? Political journalists can talk about theocracy all they want, but Americans are still overwhelmingly concerned with jobs. The more hysterical the religious speculation becomes, the more voters will be able to spot an effort to change the subject. (Byron York)

Golly, between the House’s nefarious, unpatriotic behavior, Tea Party conservatives’ terrorist acts and lynch mob impulses, and the international “run of back luck” that has hampered the US economy, it’s becoming increasingly clear that nothing is Barack Obama’s fault.  Four more years! (Guy Benson)

Update: The House not wanting to bow to Obama Command performance the same night as their long-since scheduled Debate is…<<drum roll>> (you could see this coming from 16 miles away… RACIST!! 🙂

“The interesting question is: What is it about this president that has stripped away the veneer of respect that normally accompanies the Office of the President? Why do Republicans think this president is unpresidential and should dare to request this kind of thing? It strikes me that it could be the economic times, it could be that he won so big in 2008 or it could be, let’s face it, the color of his skin. This is an extraordinary reaction to a normal sequence of events,” MSNBC contributor Richard Wolffe said on “The Last Word.”

Everything comes down to Racism and Fear for the Democrats.

“Hope and Change” is now “It’s Racism! and No Change!”

Racism and Fear! That’s our Motto!

Don’t think that will sell very well on a T-Shirt but I’m sure the Mainstream media, especially NBC and MSNBC are all over it.

I feel better now about the state of country, don’t you? 🙂

The Throw America Under the Bus Tour

Listen to the reason we are so in the dump:

Political Cartoons by Eric Allie

He just finished his “Listening Tour” of campaign first-up state Iowa and his home state of liberals in Illinois (which some liberals in Minnesota). And I bet you thought it was tour like he said it was, to listen to you….Wrong!

It was a tour to LISTEN TO HIM give more speeches about his disapproval of Republicans (euphemism- “Congress”) and finally his new jobs plan that he will revealed after Labor Day.

So, Obama has YET ANOTHER new plan for “creating jobs”. What is this, the 15th one? He goes to it for 5 minutes every time he wants to look like he gives a crap about anything other than his ideology (and it has failed miserably).

But, like the leader he is, you are going to have weeks for it. He has to go on vacation at a $50,000 a day resort in “the rich”s playground of Martha’s Vineyard first. Gotta have your priorities straight.

I wonder how many “corporate jet” owners will be in the area?

But you don’t have to wait for him unveil his new speech (he doesn’t actually have a real plan-he just gives speeches that his minions say are “plans”) because it will be like all the others except he’ll have come up some new euphemism for TAX you to death so he can spend more.

He’s burned through “Investments” and “Infrastructure” and “revenues” already in the last year, so get ready for “Tax Reform”.

Yes, folks, he’s going to “reform” your taxes.  Yes He Can!

HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE AGAINST “TAX REFORM”!?? 🙂

So how’s that “hope and Change” working for you”?

And if “Congress” aka Republicans, won’t pass it he’ll pout all over his teleprompter and get his Liberal Media minions to play Ministry of Truth and whine 24/7/365 while they slag anyone who isn’t him running for president into a radioactive pile of poo because “vote for me, the other guy’s an asshole!”.

So I just can’t wait to find out what is in this latest present all wrapped up under the tree with a pretty bow and puppies and kittens on it…say  do you smell something…it smells like death…

Well, if equality of income is the priority, liberals should be thrilled with the last four years. The recession and weak recovery have been income levelers. Those who make more than $200,000 captured one-quarter of the $7.6 trillion in total income in 2009. In 2007 the over-$200,000 crowd had one-third of reported U.S. taxable income. Those with incomes above $1 million earned 9.5% of total income in 2009, down from 16.1% in 2007.

The President needs to levy his tax increase at such a lower income level because that’s where the money is. In 2009, 237,000 taxpayers reported income above $1 million and they paid $178 billion in taxes. A mere 8,274 filers reported income above $10 million, and they paid only $54 billion in taxes.

But 3.92 million reported income above $200,000 in 2009, and they paid $434 billion in taxes. To put it another way, roughly 90% of the tax filers who would pay more under Mr. Obama’s plan aren’t millionaires, and 99.99% aren’t billionaires.

It’s an old story: The best way to produce income equality is to destroy trillions of dollars of wealth. Everyone loses, but the rich lose relatively more than the poor and the middle class. By that measure, if few others, Obamanomics has been a raging success. (WSJ)

So $200,000 is the new “million”. That’s Obamanomics for you!

BUT HE HAS A NEW CUNNING PLAN! 🙂

The Obama administration has a big idea to bolster employment: a Department of Jobs. This isn’t a South Park episode satirizing the White House but an actual idea floated by an administration official in the New York Times. The irony of a “Department of Jobs” is clearly lost on the hapless president. (WSJ)

The only jobs that will be created will be Government Bureaucrats! And we all need more Bureaucrats!

Rejoice. Don’t be a sourpuss (aka disagree with his speeches and his minions).

Be Happy.

It could have been so much worse! 🙂

“First, I want to echo the sentiments of those who have spoken before me in praising you and thanking you for all of your efforts and all the things that you’ve tried to do during probably one of the most difficult situations faced by any president in the face of unreasonable obstruction and opposition.”–President Obama in Cannon Falls,MN.

Yeah, the 15 months of complete control by Democrats doesn’t count. It’s only the last 7 months of  Republican “obstructionism” is to blame. Yeah, they keep proposing solutions and the Democrats slag them and then the Republicans cave. That’s your obstructionism, folks.

And Vote for Obama, the Other Guy’s an Asshole! 🙂

And a final note from Big Sis on the evils of White people (Not Muslims)

My Objection: Wheres the 97 year old dying grandma with the colostomy bag? or the 18 month old with a diaper?

All’s right with the world… “Blackadder” Obama has a new cunning plan…

A View to Kill

So how’s that “Hope and Change” working for you?

Can Harry Reid wait out the Tea Party?

The Senate majority leader seems to think so.

Reid blamed everything that ails Washington and the nation on Republicans. He slammed the GOP for its refusal to go along with tax increases as part of this month’s debt-ceiling deal, saying hard-core fiscal conservatives are making it impossible to strike a long-term deal that slows the growth of the national debt.

“(Senate Minority Leader) Mitch McConnell has done a good job bringing the country to a standstill,” Reid said.

The reason Republicans have drawn such a deep line in the sand on tax increases, of course, is the Tea Party movement. The populist uprising that was born from Washington’s bailouts achieved critical mass after Democrats decided to start spending like no government before. The stimulus. The ObamaCare overreach. Budget deficits that made President George W. Bush look like a piker.

Democrats were tossed from office in record numbers last November. That groundswell is shaping the 2012 campaign.

But Reid doesn’t expect it to last.

“The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy,” he said. “I’ve said that many times, and I believe that.”

“That (the Tea Party) will pass. They will lose a number of seats next year.”

Reid has amassed his considerable power by never underestimating his adversaries. And he has been known to throw out strategic fibs to create misdirection.

However, Reid left the indelible impression Friday that as long as he’s leading the Senate Democrats, the Tea Party agenda is dead on arrival in his chamber.

But don’t worry, it’s the Republicans fault for not “compromising”. 🙂

In exchange for a modicum of reduced growth in federal spending, Reid said someone will have to pay more. There will be no reductions and entitlement reforms without tax increases.

But don’t worry, it’s the Republicans fault for not “compromising”. 🙂

He singled out the rich and oil companies as especially deserving of punishment.

But he’s not engaged in class warfare. 🙂

But budget deficits under Bush were in the $100 billion to $400 billion range, mostly related to the post 9/11 wars. The Obama administration — working with a Democratic House and Senate its first two years — set the course for budget deficits of more than $1 trillion into the distant future. Obama is on course to pile up more debt in three years than Bush did in eight.

But that’s Bush’s fault also, you know…

Echoing the sentiment of other Democrats and devoted Keynesians, Reid said the failed stimulus just wasn’t big enough. “I had $100 billion in infrastructure development in the bill, but I needed three Republican votes. Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins made me get rid of it.”

When in debt, spend even more (“Infrastructure”= Spending), and those damn Republicans screwed that up too! :0

Obama’s poll rating is the lowest yet, so it’s time to go on a campaign trip and say lots of flowery “centrist” things he doesn’t mean and try fake out people again.

And having the biggest campaign warchest in history and a complicit Liberal media to slag your opponents into a radioactive mess doesn’t hurt either.

After all, “Vote for Me , the other guy is an EXTREMIST! Asshole!”

Asked how Iowans view President Barack Obama, Michael Gartner, the President of NBC News from 1988 to 1993, insisted on this weekend’s Bloomberg TV’s Political Capital: “I think people have a fondness for him and I don’t think people blame him for anything that’s wrong in this country,” except, that is, “the far-right of the Republican Party.”

No media bias there.

“I think there’s a lot of time on radio and television and on the Web that actually is conservative points of view. There’s not a lot of time for the left,” long-time CNN executive David Bohrman, the new President of Current TV, the channel co-founded by Al Gore which is Keith Olbermann’s new home, laughably claimed late Sunday morning in a live interview on CNN’s Reliable Sources.“I also think that the left needs to recapture patriotism and not let the right own the flag and own patriotism” and even saw MSNBC’s prime time as too balanced.

NBC’anchor Brian Williams,“By all accounts the big meeting with his fellow Republicans is tense. In no uncertain terms the Speaker tells hardline conservatives, who are in no mood to compromise, to get in line behind his bill.”

Notice the labels. Somehow, Williams never spent a second on his Obama special asking the President how he was going to handle the demands of “hardline liberals” – or any kind of liberal, for that matter. The only hardliners are conservatives who want to stop the spending madness. What this country desperately needs are more “hardline conservatives” to dismay network anchormen. (Brent Bozell)

Remember, the only hardline, uncompromising people are the Tea Party and Conservative Republicans. 🙂

The “unbiased” Media says so it must be true. 🙂

Williams to Pelosi: “A liberal member said to me his fear is the poor are gonna get hurt and the rich are gonna get by without harm in this. Is that your fear?”

Pelosi preposterously proclaimed she had the entire country at heart, while the GOP only cared about the super rich: “My concern is for the great middle class and we want to have a resolution of this that is for 100 percent of the American people. Republicans want to have a resolution that is for the two percent.” (Bozell)

No bias here. 🙂
But just remember the Democrat mantra, “Vote for me, the other guy is an extremist asshole!”

Fell that “hope and change” Yes you can! 🙂

Failure is an Option

So how’s that “hope and change” working for you?

The Class Warfare. The Hyperpartisanship.

Keynesian Economics.

Political Cartoons by Nate Beeler

The FED Will Keep Rates Low Through 2013

That headline is all you need to know about how the Federal Reserve feels about the state of the U.S. economy.  Exceptionally low interest rates for a prolonged period of time will only lead to … you guessed it … another bubble as it did after the dot.com bubble burst.  Remember Greenspan’s similar policy significantly contributed to more debt and the eventual credit crisis of 2008.

This news was not unexpected however with such dovish commentary, the Federal Reserve has essentially told us that there is nothing left for them  to do.

They have shot their wad. The ammo clip is empty.

We have reached a new norm (and I’m not talking about Cheers!).

The Federal Reserve has pretty much confirmed without saying it that the United States economy is in a world of hurt and that it really doesn’t know what more to do to stimulate.  In my view what they should do is absolutely nothing and let the natural ebbs and flow of business and capitalism take its course.  The weaklings will be purged and the strong will survive.  3 years of intervention haven’t done a thing to help the economy.  It is not expected that more intervention will help. The markets and the economy need a purge.  Only then can we brush ourselves off and get on with life.

So for go’s sake no QE3, No new Stimulus.

Keynesian Liberal Economics has FAILED.

But, of course, the Liberals will never admit.

They want to “investigate” (liberal code word for intimidate) S&P and blame the Tea Party for their complete failure.

And mind you, I’m sure the 2013 date is purely a coincidence! 🙂

The administration proposed 229 new rules in July and finalized another 379. Sen. John Barrasso says that 31 days of regulatory excess will cost the economy $9.5 billion. The madness must stop.

Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican, issued his regulations memo last week. If he’s on the mark, federal red tape will add as much as $114 billion in new costs to the economy a year — no small hit. (IBD)

So that makes the problem worse. But then again Liberals don’t trust business on any level, they are too greedy, and must be micromanaged to death to make sure they aren’t going to hurt anyone.

Problem is, that hurts everyone.

But they can’t see it. Ideological Blindness.

With this in mind, Republicans are planning to make a hard run at regulatory reform next month when they will reportedly press the Reins Act.

Reins stands for “regulations from the executive in need of scrutiny.” It would require congressional approval of all regulations that have an expected yearly economic impact of more than $100 million.

Opponents argue that it would, in the words of Washington Post blogger Ezra Klein, “make regulating virtually impossible.”

Yes, and that’s exactly the point.

Or close to it. The progressives are almost charming in their naivete. They can’t quite comprehend that there are others who don’t believe that more government is the path to health, happiness and prosperity.

It’s a shock to their systems to learn that not everyone shares their worldview that government must always administrate, manipulate and grow. (IBD)

In short, Liberals are not capable intellectually to understand that they have FAILED.

Since they are so vastly superior to all mortal men and are so much more compassionate and “fair” they can’t possibly be wrong.

But they are astounding wrong.

The 2011 edition of the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s annual “Ten Thousand Commandments” study sums up nicely the state of America’s regulatory regime.

“At the end of 2009, the Code of Federal Regulations was 157,974 pages long,” says the report. “In 2010, 3,752 new rules hit the books — equivalent to a new regulation coming into effect every 2 hours and 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”

As of 2006, The IRS tax Code was over 44,000 pages long. Can you imagine how large it is now!!!

How about 72,000+

Tax_code_2011_growth_CCH

So 4,000+ regulations a year and 6,000 IRS pages a year (roughly) is not going to have an impact?

Liberals don’t think so.

But the proof is in the malaise pudding. Only the Left is totally blind to it and will fight you to your last breath to preserve it.

Still want your “hope and change”?

A study by economists Nicole V. Crain and W. Mark Crain for the Small Business Administration found that the yearly cost of regulations in the U.S. hit more than $1.75 trillion in 2008. That’s roughly 14% of the economy. The Crains found that regulatory cost on business “was $8,086 per employee in 2008.”

Worse, small businesses, which create more than 80% of new jobs, are taxed more harshly than medium and large businesses. They bore a “regulatory cost of $10,585 per employee” in 2008.

AND THAT’S BEFORE OBAMA and his $4+ Trillion is spending, ObamaCare, Dod/Frank.The EPA,The FCC, FDA, et al!

So add in a massive recession and Keynesian economics, regulatory overload, anti-business administration, and hyperpartisans and Failure is truly an Option.

So the Republican will propose to do something about it. The Senate and the President will demagogue into a nuclear sludge pile and nothing will get done.

Welcome to “Hope and Change”.

Are you still Happy?

There are people who see no connection between what they have done and the consequences that follow. But Barack Obama is not likely to be one of them. He is a savvy politician who will undoubtedly be satisfied if enough voters fail to see a connection between what he has done and the consequences that followed. (Thomas Sowell)

And the Liberal Media will be playing to them for the next 15 months. It’s all the Republicans fault. The Tea Party’s Fault.

And the inarticulate Republicans will just get a bloody nose and be reduce to a nuclear slag heap.

So Failure is more than an option, it’s a likelihood.

Mob Rule

PHOTO: Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America by Ann Coulter

New York Times bestselling author and conservative political commentator Ann Coulter’s new book, “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America”, tackles politics once again, this time taking on the liberal left and what she describes as their “mob behavior.”

See my take:  https://indyfromaz.wordpress.com/2011/03/18/liberal-are-bees/

In “Demonic,” Coulter traces the words and movements of groups from the Ku Klux Klan and the SDS to anti-war protesters and Democrats today to argue her point that liberals have “consistently used mob tactics to implement their idea of the ‘general will.'”

“Just as fire seeks oxygen, Democrats seek power, which is why they will always be found championing the mob whether the mob consists of Democrats lynching blacks or Democrats slandering the critics of Obama Care as racists,” Coulter writes.

Chapter 1

The Liberal Mob

2 When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him.

3 This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.

4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.

5 Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.

6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.

7 He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!”

8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”

9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”– Mark 5:2–9

The demon is a mob, and the mob is demonic. It is the nihilistic mob of the French Revolution; it is the revolutionaries who seized control of Russia at the beginning of the twentieth century; it is the Maoist gangs looting villages and impaling babies in China; it is the Ku Klux Klan terrorizing Republicans and blacks in the South; it is the 1992 Los Angeles riot that left fifty dead and did $1 billion of damage after the first Rodney King verdict; it is the bloody riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention; it is the masked hoodlums smashing up Seattle when bankers came to town; it is the 500,000 illegal aliens marching under a foreign flag in Los Angeles; it is throngs of Islamic fanatics attending the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s funeral, tearing his body out of its coffin; it is left-wing protesters destroying property and attacking delegates at the 2004 and 2008 Republican National Conventions.

Everything else changes, but mobs are always the same. A mob is an irrational, childlike, often violent organism that derives its energy from the group. Intoxicated by messianic goals, the promise of instant gratification, and adrenaline-pumping exhortations, mobs create mayhem, chaos, and destruction, leaving a smoldering heap of wreckage for their leaders to climb to power.

The Democratic Party is the party of the mob, irrespective of what the mob represents. Democrats activate mobs, depend on mobs, coddle mobs, publicize and celebrate mobs — they are the mob. Indeed, the very idea of a “community organizer” is to stir up a mob for some political purpose. “As so frequently happens when a crowd goes wild,” historian Eric Durschmied says, “there is always one who shouts louder and thereby appoints himself as their leader.” Those are the people we call “elected Democrats.”

The Democrats’ playbook doesn’t involve heads on pikes — as yet — but uses a more insidious means to incite the mob. The twisting of truth, stirring of passions, demonizing of opponents, and relying on propagandistic images in lieu of ideas — these are the earmarks of a mob leader. Over and over again, one finds the Democrats manipulating the mob to gain power. It is official Democratic policy to appeal to the least informed, most weak-minded and perpetually alarmed members of the public.

Their base consists of soccer moms, actresses, felons, MSNBC viewers (both of them), non-English speakers, welfare recipients, heads-up-their-butts billionaires, and government workers — who can never be laid off. The entire party gave up on attracting the votes of white men decades ago. It’s easier to round up votes by frightening women about “assault weapons” and promising excellent free health care to non-English speakers. Yes, a free health care system that is so superior that they exempt themselves and their friends from having to be in it. Liberals frighten people about their health care in order to stampede through ObamaCare. They claim the Earth is overheating in order to seize taxpayer money for solar panels and compact fluorescent lightbulbs.

They call out union thugs to force politicians to accede to insane benefits packages. They stage campaigns of calumny to get their way on gay marriage. Faddish ideas that would never have occurred to anyone fifty years ago — or even twenty years ago — are suddenly foisted on the rest of us by the liberal mobs.

Although the left in America is widely recognized as hysterical, unreasonable, and clueless, the “root cause” of these traits has generally been neglected. More than a century ago, Gustave Le Bon perfectly captured the liberal psychological profile in his 1896 book, “The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind.” Le Bon — a French physician, scientist, and social psychologist — was the first to identify the phenomenon of mass psychology. His groundbreaking book “The Crowd” paints a disturbing picture of the behavior of mobs. Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini used his book to learn how to incite a mob. Our liberals could have been Le Bon’s study subjects.

Even the left-wing Guardian has admitted that Le Bon’s study of crowd behavior was “possibly the most influential work of psychology ever written.” Presumably recognizing themselves in his psychological profile, liberals have recently tried to undermine Le Bon. They have complained that he merely “articulated the propertied classes’ fear of the mob.” Who likes mobs? Renters? Window manufacturers? Rope salesmen? Liberals also objected that Le Bon did not hold the police accountable for a mob’s behavior — which is like demanding that we take into account the length of the rape victim’s skirt.

It is revealing that liberals so fear Le Bon that they try to sully him as “controversial” and “reactionary.” (Those particular complaints, incidentally, were lodged by liberal activist George Monbiot, who has called for “citizen’s arrests” of former government offiials from George W. Bush’s UN ambassador John Bolton to former British prime minister Tony Blair. No wonder he doesn’t like psychological studies of mob behavior.)

It was all the usual claptrap, but the piercing truth of Le Bon’s study speaks for itself. Liberals wouldn’t go after him if, even a century later, his theories didn’t still ring true. All the characteristics of mob behavior set forth by Le Bon in 1895 are evident in modern liberalism — simplistic, extreme black-and-white thinking, fear of novelty, inability to follow logical arguments, acceptance of contradictory ideas, being transfixed by images, a religious worship of their leaders, and a blind hatred of their opponents.

Many of liberals’ peculiarities are understandable only when one realizes that they are a mob. For example, a crowd’s ability to grasp only the simplest ideas is reflected in the interminable slogans.

Liberals have boatloads of them: Bush Lied, Kids Died! Our Bodies, Our Selves! No Blood for Oil! No Justice, No Peace! Save the Whales; Love Your Mother (Earth); Ban the Bomb; Make Love, Not War; Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote Republican; Diversity Is Our Strength! Save the Planet! Pro-Choice, Pro-Child! Support Our Troops, Bring them Home! Co-Exist! Hey, Hey, LBJ, How Many Kids Did You Kill Today? Dissent Is Patriotic! War Is Not the Answer! Go Green! Healthcare Is a Right, Not a Privilege! Imagine Peace; Celebrate Diversity! Beat the Bushes for Peace! No Nukes! Give Peace a Chance; Think Globally/Act Locally; No Tax Cuts for the Rich; Save the Planet! Venceremos! One, Two, Three, Four, We Don’t Want Your F–King War! Bush = Hitler; Hell No, We Won’t Go! Off the Pig! Eat the Rich! Die Yuppie Scum! Peace Now! We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For! Solidarity Forever! Bring America Home! You Can’t Hug a Child with Nuclear Arms; Meat Is Murder! Books Not Bombs! Fight the Power! Yes We Can!

And those are just the ones on my neighbor’s car.

What is the Tea Party’s slogan? There is none. Republicans almost never have slogans, certainly none that even they can remember — except when our presidential candidates are forced to come up with some utterly forgettable catchphrase for their campaigns.

There are only three memorable Republican slogans in the past half century — unless you count what Dick Cheney said to Pat Leahy on the Senate floor in 2004, in which case there have been four. There was, “27 Million Americans Can’t Be Wrong,” after Goldwater lost in a historic landslide in 1964. There were the YAF buttons made in tribute to William F. Buckley’s mayoral campaign platform in 1965: “Don’t Let Them Immanentize the Eschaton!”

And when there were few other reasons to vote for the reelection of the first President Bush in 1992, there was,”Annoy the Media, Vote Bush!” Republicans display crosses and fish, college and sports decals, and a few parodies of liberal slogans (“Imagine an Unborn Child”), but no bossy demands on our bumper sticker.

Conservatives don’t cotton to slogans. When they finally produce one, it’s never the sort of rallying cry capable of sending people to the ramparts, such as “Yes We Can!” or “Bush Lied, Kids Died!” “27 Million Americans Can’t Be Wrong” is a wry observation, not an urgent call to battle. “Annoy the Media, Vote Bush!” — barely qualifies as a suggestion.

Conservatives write books and articles, make arguments, and seek debates, but are perplexed by slogans. (Of course, another reason Republicans may avoid bumper stickers is to prevent their cars from being vandalized, which brings us right back to another mob characteristic of liberals.)

By contrast, liberals thrive on jargon as a substitute for thought. According to Le Bon, the more dramatic and devoid of logic a chant is, the better it works to rile up a mob: “Given to exaggeration in its feelings, a crowd is only impressed by excessive sentiments. An orator wishing to move a crowd must make an abusive use of violent affirmations. To exaggerate, to affirm, to resort to repetitions, and never to attempt to prove anything by reasoning are methods of argument well known to speakers at public meetings.”

Liberals love slogans because the “laws of logic have no action on crowds.” Mobs, Le Bon says, “are not to be influenced by reasoning, and can only comprehend rough-and-ready associations of ideas.”5 He could be describing the New York Times and other journals of elite opinion when he describes periodicals that “manufacture opinions for their readers and supply them with ready- made phrases which dispense them of the trouble of reasoning.”

You will see all the techniques for inspiring mobs in liberal behavior.

There are three main elements to putting an idea in a crowd: affirmation, repetition, and contagion. The effects takes time, Le Bon says, but “once produced are very lasting.” It’s the same reason annoying TV commercials are so effective. “Head On! Apply directly to the forehead. Head On! Apply directly to the forehead. Head On! Apply directly to the forehead.”

Affirmation is the creation of a slogan, free of all reasoning and all proof.” Indeed, the “conciser an affirmation is, the more destitute of every appearance of proof and demonstration,” he says, “the more weight it carries.” This is “one of the surest means of making an idea enter the mind of crowds.”

Affirmation only works if it is “constantly repeated, and so far as possible in the same terms.” The power of repetition “is due to the fact that the repeated statement is embedded in the long run in those profound regions of our unconscious selves in which the motives or our actions are forged. At the end of a certain time we have forgotten who is the author of the repeated assertion, and we finish by believing it.”

Short slogans endlessly repeated create a “current of opinion” allowing “the powerful mechanism of contagion” to operate. Ideas spread through the crowd as easily as microbes, Le Bon says, which explains the mass panics common to rock concerts, financial markets, street protests, and Dennis Kucinich rallies. “A panic that has seized only a few sheep,” he observes, “will soon extend to the whole flock.”

Liberals have it down to an art: The cacophonous method of yelling until conservatives shut up just because they just want to go home, the purblind assertions — No WMDs in Iraq! Civilian Deaths! Violence at Tea Parties! Head On! Apply directly to the forehead! — and overnight the entire mass of liberals is robotically repeating the same slogans.

It isn’t only in their incessant street demonstrations that liberals talk in slogans. This is how liberals discuss serious policy matters with the public. It’s as if they’re speaking to a vast O.J. Simpson jury, mesmerized by a pair of gloves and a closing argument that rhymes (“If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit”).

Conservatives talk the same on TV as off TV — unless they are inarticulate politicians using sound bites to avoid saying anything stupid. But regular conservatives talk on TV as if they’re having a normal conversation with their friends or neighbors.

Liberals don’t know how to do this because they don’t have normal friends and neighbors — only fellow demonstrators. Their self-image is as little Lenins, rousing the masses at the Finland Station, which is why they always sound as if they’ve gotten control of the PA system and are broadcasting from Big Brother, Inc. — or if they’re Al Gore, addressing a kindergarten class.

Here, for example, is Stephanie Bloomingdale, of the Wisconsin AFL-CIO, being interviewed on MSNBC about the union’s beef with Governor Scott Walker: “Well, America, we need all of you to help us with our fight. Because this is a fight to reclaim the values of the middle class. This is the movement of our time. And we need people all across America, working people, to stand up and say, this is the time we need to restore economic justice. And we know that the only — that the union movement is the only thing that stands between unbridled corporate greed and a true economic democracy. And we — what I would like to say is, America, stand with us, stand with us who are fighting for justice and economic justice in our society.”

The next night, Katrina Vanden Huevel was engaging in the same sort of “Internationale” hectoring: “People are waking up. And they’re in the streets. There are going to be fifty rallies around this country. Maybe a million people in the streets of this country. And what are they saying? Enough! You’re giving our people’s money away. Invest in our country, invest in jobs, invest in education. Keep cops on the street, keep teachers in the classrooms. Enough with these perks for corporations. There’s a movement called U.S. uncut, which is inspired by an article in The Nation.

“If we can recoup from the very richest who brought us this financial crisis and from corporate tax dodgers, we can balance budgets in a fair way. Justice, fairness, concepts that may be coming back to America in this moment.”

The advantage of slogans like these — “working families,” “economic justice,” “unbridled corporate greed,” and “invest in our country, invest in jobs, invest in education” — is that liberals never have to talk about the actual issues being discussed. You’d never know in the fog of jargon that the Republican governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, was only asking government employees to start paying 6 percent of their pension contributions (up from zero percent) and 12 percent of their health care insurance (up from six percent).

Similarly, the pro-abortion movement depends on never ever using the word “abortion” — only cant, such as “choice,” “family planning,” and “reproductive freedom.”

The Left’s robotic speaking style helps explain why liberals have never been able to make a dent in talk radio, despite many tries. Apparently, even the people who get bused in to their rallies can’t be paid to listen to liberals hectoring them on talk radio. Being endlessly lectured by deadly earnest liberals is boring. Ask any Cuban.

Based on their public commentary, it appears that not one liberal has the vaguest idea how the economy imploded. The only thing liberals know is — as President Obama explained — “Republicans drove the car into the ditch, made it as diffiult as possible for us to pull it back, now they want the keys back. No! You can’t drive. We don’t want to have to go back into the ditch. We just got the car out.”11 (It was always a “ditch” and not a “lake” because a lake would have been offensive to Teddy Kennedy.)

A liberal would stare at you slack-jawed if you explained that the federal government, via Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, forced politically correct lending policies on the banks — policies that were attacked by Republicans but ferociously defended by Democrats — and that the banks’ suicidal loans were then bundled into mortgage- backed securities and dispersed throughout the entire financial system, which poisoned the economy, bringing down powerful institutions, such as Lehman Brothers, and destroying innumerable families’ financial portfolios.

In light of the Democrats’ direct role in creating the policies at the heart of the nation’s financial collapse, it’s not surprising that they prefer metaphors to facts. What’s strange is that the image of a car in a ditch is sufficient for the bulk of Democratic voters and commentators to adjudge themselves experts on the economic crisis and refuse to listen to explanations that aren’t images of Bush driving a car into a ditch. Image is all that matters to the mob. Obama can take in the biggest campaign haul from Wall Street in world history, as he did in 2008, but the mob will never believe he is in the pocket of Wall Street bankers.

The top- three corporate employers of donors to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Rahm Emanuel were Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and JPMorgan. Six other financial giants were in the top thirty donors to the White House Dream Team: UBS AG, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse Group.12 In 2008 alone, Goldman Sachs employees gave more to Obama — nearly $1 million — than any other employer, with the sole exception of the entire University of California, which has 230,000 employees — ten times more than Goldman.13

And still Republicans are called the Party of Wall Street. Bush let Lehman Brothers go under — what else do Republicans have to do? Liberals latched on to the image of Bush, Cheney, and even Tom DeLay as “oilmen” to blame them for everything from Enron’s collapse to blackouts and high oil prices.

In 2006, Speaker Nancy Pelosi blamed “oilmen” in public office for high oil prices — and hearing Pelosi try to craft a syllogism is like watching Michael Moore attempt ballet. She said, “We have two oilmen in the White House. The logical follow-up from that is $3-a-gallon gasoline. It is no accident. It is a cause and effect. A cause and effect.” That’s all liberals needed to know. Two “oilmen” in the White House — cause and effect. Strangely though, a barrel of oil costs the same on the world market for all those other countries that were not being run by “oilmen.”

A few years earlier, she had blamed Bush and Representative Tom DeLay for the blackout throughout the Northeast United States and parts of Canada — presumably because they are both from Texas — saying they had “put the interests of the energy companies before the interests of the American people.”14 In fact, the blackout was due to a failure of humans operating electric power; it had nothing whatsoever to do with oil.

The New York Times’s Paul Krugman has written more than a dozen columns making hazy connections between Bush and the corrupt and collapsed Enron — “Some cynics attribute the continuing absence of Enron indictments to the Bush family’s loyalty code”  — despite Bush’s having absolutely nothing to do with the company, other than being from Texas.

By contrast, Krugman was on Enron’s advisory board while he was writing encomiums to Enron in Fortune magazine.16 Once a year, when I don’t feel like writing a column, I think I’ll reprint Krugman’s column singing Enron’s praises — although, again, in fairness, he was being paid by Enron at the time.

Democrats wouldn’t make such absurd statements if absurdity didn’t seem perfectly logical to their base. This is how Democrats communicate with their constituents: They use mob tactics to rile up the irrational masses. Crowds can’t grasp logic, only images. “These image- like ideas,” Le Bon says, “are not connected by any logical bond of analogy or succession, and may take each other’s place like the slides of a magic lantern which the operator withdraws from the groove in with they were placed one above the other.”

Republicans love Wall Street — oh look, Wall Street just made historic campaign contributions to Obama; he must be really cool. Republicans hate the poor because they’re trying to block government policies promoting easy mortgages. . . . Oops, I wonder why the economy just tanked. It’s because Bush drove it into a ditch! Enron collapsed and Paul Krugman says it’s Bush’s fault. Krugman was paid by Enron and Bush wasn’t? Bush lied, kids died! Oil prices went up under Bush — it’s his fault — he’s an oilman! Oh but then oil prices went down under Bush. . . . Hey, look over there! A shiny object!

Despite their perennial enthusiasm for revolution and “change” in almost any form, Le Bon says, crowds are wildly conservative when it comes to scientific progress. Want to scare a liberal? Mention nuclear power plants, genetically modified fruits, new pharmaceuticals, food irradiation, or guns with plastic frames. We could probably get a crowd of liberal protesters to scatter just by coming at them with a modern vacuum cleaner.

It certainly works on dogs and cats. The Left’s abject terror of technological development is yet another mob attribute. Le Bon says that the mob’s “unconscious horror” of “all novelty capable of changing the essential conditions of their existence is very deeply rooted.”

While mobs go about changing the names of institutions and demanding radical changes to society, he says, when it comes to scientific progress, crowds have a “fetish- like respect” for tradition.18

Thus, according to Le Bon, if “democracies possessed the power they wield today at the time of the invention of mechanical looms or of the introduction of steam- power and of railways, the realization of these inventions would have been impossible.” It is lucky “for the progress of civilization that the power of crowds only began to exist when the great discoveries of science and industry had already been effected.”

Our liberals are even worse than Le Bon imagined. Democrats don’t merely want to block scientific progress, they want to roll it back. Al Gore’s global warming fantasy book Earth in the Balance called for the worldwide elimination of the internal combustion engine within twenty-five years. (Which, if nothing else, would have ruined Obama’s “car in the ditch” catch-phrase.)

In 2007, Democrats in Congress banned the incandescent lightbulb, currently scheduled for elimination in 2014. Indeed, banning Thomas Edison’s invention was among the very fi rst acts of the new House majority elected in 2006, in a bill cosponsored by 195 Democrats and only 3 Republicans (two of whom are no longer in office). When Democrats came up with the idea of banning the lightbulb, what image appeared in their heads? A litcandle? Only four Democrats voted against the bill in both the House and then Senate, with the vast majority of Republicans voting against it in both chambers.

Consider that the two industries that provoke the most fear and loathing in liberals are two of the most innovative: the oil and pharmaceutical industries. When a majority of the country objected to national health care because, among other reasons, it would mean the end of innovation in medicine once the government took over, liberals stared in blank incomprehension. (It was almost as if they’d been drugged.) They believe every drug, every diagnosis, every therapy, every cure that will ever be invented has already been invented. Their job is to spread all the existing cures, not to worry about who will discover new ones.

The only traditions liberals are eager to smash are moral and sexual ones, such as marriage and protecting the unborn. Crowds are too impulsive to be moral, according to Le Bon, which explains why liberals are mad for innovation when it comes to thousands-year-old institutions like marriage. Only when it comes to scientifi c innovation, are they hidebound traditionalists.

Indeed, the only way to get liberals interested in novel scientific research is to propose slaughtering human embryos. When adult stem cell researchers had already produced treatments for eighty different diseases, 21 while embryonic stem cell researchers were stuck in the dark ages, the failed researchers won liberal hearts by pointing out that their method destroyed human fetuses, while adult stem research did not.

As long as Democrats can win by demagoguing the mob, they are perfectly happy to turn America into a banana republic. With the country drowning in debt and Medicare and Social Security putting us on a high-speed bullet train to bankruptcy, the entire Democratic Party refuses to deal with entitlements. Instead, they will gin up the mobs to throw out any politician who cuts these increasingly theoretical “benefits.” The country will have the economy of Uganda, but Democrats will be in total control.

Rich liberals want chaos for everyone except themselves, confident that they can afford a “green” lifestyle and their children will still attend Sidwell Friends. The rest of us are forced to live in a lawless universe of no energy, gay marriage, girl soldiers, and marauding criminals because liberals can’t enjoy their wealth unless other people are living in complete pandemonium. They promote anarchy, believing the middle class should live in squalor, while liberals will be protected by their wealth against the mob.

The seminal event of the New Testament — Jesus’ crucifixion — is a dramatic illustration of the power of the mob.

When the mob was howling for Pontius Pilate to sentence Jesus to death, even Pilate’s wife couldn’t convince him to spare Jesus. After having a dream about Jesus, Pilate’s wife sent her husband a note saying Jesus was innocent — a “just man.” Pilate knew Jesus was innocent and that the mob hated Jesus out of “envy.” But not his wife, not even his own common sense, was enough for him to resist the mob.

Three times Pilate told the “multitude” that Jesus was innocent and should be spared. He pleaded with the mob, proposing to “chastise him, and release him.” But the mob was immovable, demanding Jesus’ crucifixion. Pilate was required to release one of the prisoners, so he gave the mob the choice of Jesus or Barabbas, a notorious murderer and insurrectionist — in other words, someone who incites mobs. Again, the mob “spoke with one voice,” demanding “with loud shouts” that Jesus be crucified.

Capitulating to the mob, Pilate ordered Jesus’ death.

Even one of the mob’s victims, a thief being crucifi ed alongside Jesus, joined the mob’s taunting, saying to Jesus, “If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.” The other thief rebuked him, noting that they were guilty, whereas Jesus was not. He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” And Jesus said “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”Pilate gave in to the mob out of fear. The thief joined the mob to side with the majority. The mob itself was driven by envy.

Although it all worked out in the end — Jesus died, darkness fell over the Earth, the ground trembled, and the temple veil was ripped in two, and three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, giving all peoplethe promise of everlasting life — here was the stark choice, to be repeated like Nietzsche’s eternal recurrence: Jesus or Barabbas?

Liberals say Barabbas: Go with the crowd. C’mon, everybody’s doing it — it’s cool. Now let’s go mock Jesus. (As is so often the case, the mob said, “Kill the Jew.”)

Conservatives — sublimely uninterested in the opinion of the mob — say Jesus.

AMEN!

The Wait

The White House has named Jesse Lee to a new position within its communications department titled Director of Progressive Media & Online Response. According to The Huffington Post, Lee will essentially be responsible for building up Obama’s online presence as he prepares for his reelection bid, and squashing any negative stories:

The post is a new one for this White House. Rapid response has usually been outsourced to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), if not done on an ad-hoc basis by administration officials. And it signals that the White House will be adopting a more aggressive defense of the president and his policies as his re-election campaign gears up.

If you’re going to post something online about Obama that isn’t true, Lee is going to be the one to handle you. Considering that Lee’s first tweet about his new position included a picture of The Terminator, we suggest you watch what you say OR BE DESTROYED.

Okay that was a little dramatic, but you get the idea.

So Big Brother’s Thought Police is watching you…and me 🙂

Oh, and the The Rapture has been rescheduled for Oct 21st. So beware sinners! 🙂

Camping in his slow, liquorish drawl. “We’re not going to be advertising in anyway, anywhere. That’s all done. That’s all done. The world has been warned. My has it been warned. We did our little share.”

All those millions we raised from the sheep is going to me now. So I’m taking my millions and disappearing so that when it doesn’t happen on Oct 21st no one will be able to find me the next time.

While the clock is ticking toward the imminent August 2nd deadline for Congress to pass a budget, both Republicans and Democrats in the Senate are holding out as long as possible and trading progress on a serious budget for political gains.

Democrats on the Senate Budget Committee, chaired by Sen. Kent Conrad, have stalled on producing a budget proposal in the hopes that the Gang of Six talks would prove successful. When it became clear the talks would not lead to a budget compromise, Conrad announced last week that he was putting off a proposal “indefinitely”.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, however, plans to bring to a vote, budgets proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, and President Obama – none of which represent Senate Democrats’ views, and are destined to fail.

But the Republican leadership, like Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, is actively working against Senate Republicans having a budget they can be held accountable for, according to one Republican staffer, and instructing Republicans to “stand down” on the issue behind the scenes.

McConnell’s strategy, according to the staffer, is to protect moderate Republicans like Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, from having to vote for a more conservative budget. If Reid’s doomed votes go forward as planned, Snowe and Collins can safely vote against them.

Moreover, McConnell’s  budget strategy could also include a larger plan that a “do-nothing” Senate will work in his favor to take back the chamber for Republicans in 2012.

“Republicans specialize in playing to lose in the Senate, not forcing tough votes and they would have been complicit in this deal instead of telling Reid it is time to take some tough votes on the budget,” the staffer told The Daily Caller.

In other words, Republicans don’t want to force the budget issue any more than the Democrats do.

One Republican – Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama – is being particularly vocal on the Senate’s failure to seriously engage in a budget debate. On Monday, Sessions spoke on the Senate floor and objected to the Reid’s scheduled budget votes, calling them “cynical political games,” and in doing so, rejected the request for unanimous consent.

“The planned series of votes are designed by the Majority Leader to fail,” said Sessions. “They are designed as a gimmick to distract attention from the unwillingness of Senate Democrats to produce an honest plan. They are designed to keep this Senate form doing its job and defending this Republic from a grave financial danger.”

He also spoke out against the Senate going on Memorial Day recess while no progress is being made on the budget.

His objections, however, do not mean that the budget proposals will not be voted on this week. Scheduling them ahead of time like Reid plans, means that the votes would require unanimous consent (UC). Sessions simply announced he would not approve UC, but because budget resolutions get special treatments under Senate rules, they can be called for a vote at any time.

Reid’s spokesperson, Jon Summers, responded to Session’s threats on Twitter, writing “In case anyone had any doubts, Sen. Sessions just made it clear: Repubs are petrified of voting on their own party’s plan to end Medicare.”

So as they play hot potato childish games with a small thermonuclear device that is the Debt anyone but me think it will go off in our faces before they get serious and grow up?

Welcome to Limbo

Well, no Rapture this time kiddies… 🙂

Reports of the end of the world appeared to have been exaggerated.

Eighty-nine-year-old tele-evangelist Harold Camping had prophesied that the “Rapture” would begin with powerful earthquakes at 6pm in each of the world’s regions, after which the good would be beamed up to heaven.

This morning, Kiwis confirmed there were no signs of the dead rising from the grave, nor of the living ascending into the clouds to meet Jesus Christ.

Twitter users were disappointed by the absence of Armaggedon.

Kind of sounds like “Hope & Change” doesn’t it. 🙂

But give the Democrats time, Armageddon will still come if you don’t allow them to rule over you completely and totally. From the very minute before conception till after your dead.

Throwing grandma off a cliff is child’s play compared to the fear campaign to come.

It’s not like Liberal Socialist/Marxist Democrats have an ideas that any wants to hear (except other Socialist Marxist Liberal Democrats).

And if you can’t win with ideas, go for fear. It’s worked for thousands of years.

David Speer, on Twitter, said: “Oh well no rapture. Just as well. New Zealand didn’t need that right now. Another delay to the filming of The Hobbit would’ve been terrible.” (London telegraph)

Now that’s truly an apocalypse….:)

“I had some skepticism but I was trying to push the skepticism away because I believe in God,” said Keith Bauer – who hopped in his minivan in Maryland and drove his family 3,000 miles to California for the Rapture.

Much like the fainting and the messanic behavior of 2008 for Barack Hussein Obama.

Now it will just be FEAR!

Many followers said the delay was a further test from God to persevere in their faith.

Sound like Obama Worshippers doesn’t it? 🙂
“The cold, hard reality is going to hit them that they did this, and it was false and they basically emptied out everything to follow a false teacher,” the Rev. Jacob Denys, of the Milpitas-based Calvary Bible Church. (Charlotte Observer)
Obama 2008:
The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America.
Obama’s Nomination Victory Speech In St. Paul June 3, 2008.
Obama 2011 anyone? 🙂
But the blind faithful will carry on. The media will carry on.
You can’t break their faith.
Reality can’t break their faith.
But they can sure try and break yours!
To wage a campaign of  Doom if you dare to oppose Obama and the Democrats the seas will boil the air will turn to fire and grandma will be eating dog food as the Republicans gleefully throw her off the cliff laughing maniacally!!
Over the top? I doubt it.
I have faith in them. 🙂
On a different front, do you ever notice that when Liberals are wrong they always try to dismiss or diminish their mistakes so as to not take responsibility for them??
Well, our Dear Leader who started the war in Libya because NATO was founded by The US, funded largely by the US, and is a US led orginization (after all it stands for NORTH AMERICAN Treaty Orginization not “global”) now has to succumb to the War Powers Act and brasenly says that since we are doing so little he doesn’t need Congressional approval for it. So pshaw…
Now imagine a Republican saying that.
Hear that banshee howling of indignation and self-righteousness?
Hear the calls for impeachment?
In an effort to satisfy those arguing he needs to seek congressional authorization to continue US military activity in accordance with the War Powers Resolution, President Obama wrote a letter to congressional leaders this afternoon suggesting that the role is now so “limited” he does not need to seek congressional approval.“Since April 4,” the president wrote, “U.S. participation has consisted of: (1) non-kinetic support to the NATO-led operation, including intelligence, logistical support, and search and rescue assistance; (2) aircraft that have assisted in the suppression and destruction of air defenses in support of the no-fly zone; and (3) since April 23, precision strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles against a limited set of clearly defined targets in support of the NATO-led coalition’s efforts.” (ABC News)

Still hear that howling? Thought not.
But you can hear the howling of partisan hypocrisy. That’s screaming loud enough to cause The Rapture.
Now, consider what the 2012 re-election coronation of  Dear Leader is going to be like for the next 17 months.
Wishing the The Rapture HAD occurred yet? 🙂
A senior administration official told ABC News that the letter is intended to describe “a narrow US effort that is intermittent and principally an effort to support to support the ongoing NATO-led and UN-authorized civilian support mission and no fly zone.”“The US role is one of support,” the official said, “and the kinetic pieces of that are intermittent.”

Now flash to Iraq.
Rapture anyone?
Or at least of the Liberals and the Progressives.
I could pray for that.

The LA Times reported that Sen. Harry Reid has called the idea of a Democrat budget at this point ‘foolish,’ since they’ve decided they’d rather wait for any compromises to come out of the parleys already underway between the two parties.

“There’s no need to have a Democratic budget in my opinion,” Reid said in an interview Thursday. “It would be  foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.”

Nothing like leading from behind, Sen. Reid. (Better to attack you, my dear…<<evil cackle>>)

As Sen. Jeff Sessions pointed out this week in a statement, “Nothing can change the fact that as long as Democrats retain the majority in the Senate—the majority they asked the American people to confer upon them—it is their responsibility, as required by statute, to publicly present their budget to the American people.”

Who needs one anyhow. Just let the Democrats do whatever they want, when they want, because they want. That’s how we all operate anyhow…. 🙂
Partisan sniping and fearmongering is so much better in their view.
Lead by Fear and Intimidation. Ideas are so passe’. Rule, not Lead!
You begin to wonder if the Democrats will ever pass another budget EVER.
I know I do. And I wonder why the Republicans don’t.
Oh, that would be because of a RINO virus. Silly me.
Please take the RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) please!
The president voiced support for a bipartisan resolution drafted by Senators John Kerry, D-Mass., John McCain, R-Ariz., Carl Levin, D-Mich., Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., Lindsey Graham, R-SC, and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., stating that Congress “supports the U.S. mission in Libya and that both branches are united in their commitment to supporting the aspirations of the Libyan people for political reform and self-government…Congressional action in support of the mission would underline the U.S. commitment to this remarkable international effort.”Earlier this month, Kerry – who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee – described his resolution as “in limbo.”

Isn’t limbo in between Heaven and Hell?
Sounds like what we have now under our Dear Leader.
And he will spend a BILLION dollars or more, with a massive media campaign blitz of fear and false hopes of the rapture (of peace and love) to come to convince ye of little faith that he is in fact the God of  “Hope” and the only moral “change” left in the Universe.
You must resist the Rapture to come in November 2012.
It won’t be Heaven on Earth.
The problem is the Republicans are too timid and the elites are too in love with themselves to care about you and me in any real sense.
So Welcome to Limbo.
Enjoy the eternity.

May the Schwartz Be With You!!

I’m Back!!

Miss me? 🙂

I have been offline because I went on Vacation. But I wasn’t going to announce that to the world. “Hey! my house is empty for the next 5 days!”.

I don’t think so.

But where was I?

Here’s a clue…and no this is not me in the photo…

Getting there was insane. I left last Wednesday at 9:30am then arrived at 7:40am Thursday at Heathrow. Then I had to stay up all day because if I didn’t going to bed at the hotel would have ruined the whole day.

I stayed at a hotel that was a 7 minute walk from here.

Why did I go?

What else, Doctor Who!!

The “Doctor Who Experience” to be precise.

An Exhibition with a 10 minute interactive hands-on “experience”.

Yeah, like I was going to miss this!!

But in perfect Murphy Gods fashion my car decided to have a catastrophic failure on the Monday beforehand, just to make my bank account smaller. 😦

But now I’m home and it’s time to get back to reality.

But what really got me was when I was picked by the Hotel Bus at Heathrow the driver had a talk show on the radio and it was all about immigration and if you are against immigration controls you’re somehow a racist.

I was floored, I thought I was back home here in Arizona.

As the driver dropped off other people this show went on for about an hour.

It was fascinating because a lot of the callers and the discussion ended up sounding a lot like here. It was amazing.

But the main difference was that Prime Minister David Cameron was the one proposing the restrictions!

I didn’t spend a great deal of time in my hotel room as could be expected but the other issue I kept hearing about is a referendum being held on May 5th called the Alternative Vote Referendum.

The Prime Minister and the Liberal Democrats (not like our Liberal Democrats by the way, more a quasi mish-mash of republican/democrats with a eurpeon liberal spin and closer to the Democrats of old) are against it.

The outright not-hiding-behind-cutesy-slogans Socialists in the Labour Party (think modern Democrats) are for it.

That automatically makes me suspicious.

Especially when the parties then have allies on the other side of the political aisle and start a war of words.

Apparently was it is, that the proposal has been made to do away with “first past the post” voting. That’s what virtually every country in the world use.

Australia is the only major democracy to use the same type of AV system as the one being proposed for the UK, but voting is compulsory there. Papua New Guinea and Fiji also use AV – but most Western democracies use a version of first-past-the-post in national elections. AV is often used for internal party elections. (BBC)

The AV system asks voters to rank candidates in order of preference. People can nominate as many preferences as they like. Only first preference votes are counted initially. Anyone getting more than 50% of these is elected automatically. If that doesn’t happen, the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated and their second choices allocated to the remaining candidates in a second round of counting. If one candidate then has more than 50% of the votes in this round they are elected. If not, the remaining candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated and their second preferences (or third preferences if they were the second choice of someone who voted for the first candidate to be eliminated) reallocated. This continues until one candidate has 50% or more of the vote in that round of counting.

The Alternate version is the lowest person is eliminated until someone with 50% is elected.

Much like “Pop Idol” (the progenitor of “American Idol”).

Naturally, there’s lots of spin and the socialists are calling the other side liars and “protectors of the status quo”

Sound familiar?? 🙂

“The No campaign want to make Nick Clegg the poster boy for this campaign, and what I’m saying is, ‘Don’t make this a referendum on David Cameron or Nick Clegg or Ed Miliband – make it a referendum about what kind of politics we want in this country.'”–Labour Leader Ed Milibrand

It’s not about me- it’s about Hope and Change? A NEW TONE, if you will. 🙂

Mr Cameron said one of his biggest objections to the alternative-vote (AV) system was that it would result in more coalition governments, and despite the current one being necessary “at a time of national need”, that would tend to reduce political accountability.

“I can absolutely put my hand on my heart and say in preparing our manifesto we really did go through every pledge and thought, ‘We could be accountable for this. We aim to have, and believe we can have, a single party government so don’t put anything in your manifesto you don’t believe you can deliver,'” he said.

If you move to a system where coalitions become the norm rather than the exception I think you might find politicians start being very casual about what they put in their manifesto because you can put in policies that you know you can get rid of as you form a coalition.”– Prime Minister David Cameron

Or if you’re Barack Obama, you make promises, don’t keep them, or never intended to, but then just blame someone else for it!

So you can saw any old damn thing you want that wins the popularity contest and then can do any old damn thing they want. (Sounds familiar?)

The Conservatives agreed to the referendum as part of the coalition deal, which also allows both parties to campaign on opposing sides – but have insisted that the coalition will continue whatever the result.

Labour is split over AV – Mr Miliband is campaigning to change the system but other senior Labour figures, including former deputy PM Lord Prescott, want to keep first-past-the-post.

Under the first-past-the-post system voters put a cross next to their preferred candidate while with AV voters rank candidates in order of preference.

These preferences could be used to decide the outcome in places where no candidate wins more than 50% of votes cast.

Conservatives (“Tories”): They believe first-past-the-post is a tried and tested system which generally provides stable government and maintains the direct link between an MP and their constituency.

Labour: The party flirted with voting reform as an issue before coming to power in 1997, asking the late Lord Jenkins to head a review into the subject.

But his conclusions in 1998 were largely ignored and critics say Labour only returned to the issue when the party looked set to leave power.

Ala Democrats 2003-2008 anyone??

The Lib Dems are pushing strongly for a yes vote, having launched their own pro-change “fair votes” campaign at their party conference in September.(BBC)

Beware of a politician calling something “fair”.

And when reading about the other parties and a lot of them are for it and mention “fairness” I get very, very cynical.

Would I want that here?

No.

I agree with Prime Minister Cameron when he calls passing the referendum the end of one man one vote and that is bad idea.

And coalitions aren’t all they are cracked up to be. Look at the “compromises” the Republicans keep doing with the Democrats… 😦

The King of Unity

Congratulations have to go out to President Obama, while he is selling out our allies to the Russians and ignoring or encouraging Muslim Jihadists he was named as the MOST POLARIZING PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY by Gallup (2 years running!).

Maybe he can put it next to his *snicker* Nobel Peace Prize 🙂

Political Cartoons by Gary McCoy

The “first black president”, “the post-racial president”, “the unifier”.

“Unity is the great need of the hour – the great need of this hour. Not because it sounds pleasant or because it makes us feel good, but because it’s the only way we can overcome the essential deficit that exists in this country.

I’m not talking about a budget deficit. I’m not talking about a trade deficit. I’m not talking about a deficit of good ideas or new plans.

I’m talking about a moral deficit. I’m talking about an empathy deficit. I’m taking about an inability to recognize ourselves in one another; to understand that we are our brother’s keeper; we are our sister’s keeper; that, in the words of Dr. King, we are all tied together in a single garment of destiny.” –BarackObama.com

http://www.gallup.com/poll/145937/Obama-Approval-Ratings-Polarized-Year-Year.aspx

Real Clear Politics-  Jan 2008: And Sen. Barack Obama’s repeated and eloquent claims to being able to unite Americans are a major reason for his present, and very possibly eventual, success in his quest for his party’s nomination for president of the United States.

I do not doubt Mr. Obama’s sincerity. The wish that all people be united is an elemental human desire. But there are two major problems with it. First, it is not truly honest. Second, it is childish.

First is its dishonesty. Virtually all calls for unity — whether national, international or religious (as in calls for Christian unity) — do not tell the whole truth.

If those who call for unity told the whole truth, this is what they would say: “I want everyone to unite — behind my values. I want everyone who disagrees with me to change the way they think so that we can all be united. I myself have no plans to change my positions on any important issues in order to achieve this unity. So in order to achieve it, I assume that all of you who differ with me will change your views and values and embrace mine.”

Take any important issue that divides Americans and explain exactly how unity can be achieved without one of the two sides giving up its values and embracing the other side’s values.

Wasn’t Unity, “hope and Change” etc. the clarion call that we who were not duped by it knew to be utterly false!

After all, bi-partisanship to a Liberal means I win, you lose.

It is fascinating how little introspection Sen. Obama’s “unity” supporters engage in — they are usually the very people who most forcefully advocate multiculturalism, who scoff at the idea of an American melting pot and who oppose something as basic to American unity as declaring English the country’s national language.

Their advocacy of multiculturalism and opposition to declaring English the national language are proof that the calls of the left-wing supporters of Barack Obama for American unity are one or more of three things: 1. A call for all Americans to agree with them and become fellow leftists. 2. A nice-sounding cover for their left-wing policies. 3. A way to further their demonizing of the Bush administration as “divisive.”

Now it’s called “Civility” that is used to shut you up if you dare speak out against them.

After all, the Liberals are all mushy and gushy about the protestors in Egypt who were in an uprising against an oppressive government. Only when it happened here, The Tea Party, they were “astro turf”, “Stupid”, “Morons”, “idiots”, “racists”, “domestic terrorists” and the litany of childish insults continues to this day.

Utterly Fascinating.

And why after almost a year did ABC News suddenly want to go back to the racial profiling well?

Could it be an “election cycle”?? Does the media need to start dividing and conquering even more. Gotta get the Hispanics on the left’s side, so let’s go after the Gringos again and make them all look like frothing hood-wearing KKK again!

FEAR IS HOPE!

Now that’s “unity”. 🙂

The Real Star Wars

sith-lord-obama-64047_600

This is a tale of a young Senator who set out to change the world. To grab power. To reshape everything.

To fundamentally violate one of the truth of existence and to fight against it.

That truth, LIFE ISN’T FAIR.

I believe (to borrow another movie) it to be the Inception idea that started modern Liberalism.

If Life isn’t fair, then let’s make it equal. So that it is no more or less fair for anyone.

But that way leads to The Dark Side.

The Sith await you.

Think about it, you have a (in this case young) Senator who rises in a time of stress and War and Crisis. He promises hope & change. Though the hope and change he wants is to control everyone and everything. That way, Social Justice is “Fair”. And Life if “fair”.

In the time of crisis he is granted powers and takes steps no leader has ever dared take before. He takes over the Banks, insurance companies, the auto industry.

He consolidates more power to central authority that ever before. he is playing both sides against each other in the name of “fairness” to consolidate power. Because, after all, they only way life can be “fair” is if you control it from birth to death.

You have no freedom. But it’s Fair! 😦

“So this is how liberty dies… with thunderous applause”–Sen. Padme Amidala

But life is not fair.

And this frustrates him. He has such a grand vision. But he can’t get it done.

It’s not fair!

He’s so much smarter than everyone else. He’s so much better. More enlightened.

And all he wants is for everyone to be equal. Now that’s “fair”.

And before the November 2nd elections (9/10/10): “If it was just a referendum on whether we’ve made the kind of progress that we need to, then people around the country would say ‘We’re not there yet,'” Obama said.

“If the election is about the policies that are going to move us forward, versus the policies that will get us back into a mess, then I think Democrats will do very well.”

And on Nov 2, he and his minions were “shellacked”. But that didn’t stop them from have a very productive Lame Duck Session where they got 90% of what they wanted.

As a matter of fact, he’s now the “Comeback Kid”. The Emperor has New Clothes.

But still he fears that his life’s work will be undone, challenged or left unfulfilled. The dreams of 90 years of Progressive Liberalism rest upon his shoulders.

His vision.

So, like Palpatine, he will have to be craftier and take more control rather than letting his minions like Darth Vader do all the heavy lifting.

“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”— Master Yoda

And who hates more liberals.

Only Radical Muslims and terrorists.

Class Warfare. Hate the rich (but not the Liberal Rich like George Soros or even Obama who made $5 million dollars last year).

Race Warfare. Pitting blacks and Hispanics against Whites because Whites are “not fair” and oppressive.

Despite the fact that liberal policies hurt blacks and hispanics.

It keeps them down.

The promise of “fairness” and “Justice” keep them in line. Even though in the 50 years they haven’t even come close to either.

Religious Warfare. The more Progressive (aka radical) they are the seemingly more anti-religious they are- especially Christianity.

How is that different from the Sith wanting to wipe out the Jedi??

The Jedi are spiritual. The Force is spiritual.

They must be crushed.

The State is your only salvation.

The Government is your protector. Your savior.

Not yourself.

But if Obama is Senator Palpatine, cum Emperor-wanna be, who is Darth Vader. The angry, power mad servant of the Dark Side?

Nancy Pelosi, who else. 🙂  (Not Dick Cheney as the Liberals tried to use in 2005 after Bush beat Kerry for re-election)

But it does point to the fact that when Liberals object to the dirty tricks way things are being done “unfairly” that usually means they have already done them and you’re not allowed to do what they are doing because they are so vastly superior and more “fair” than you.

But Darth Vader never got demoted to a Minority Position. This should just strengthen her backbone and her insanity.

She will hate even more at being thwarted and simultaneous be proud of her many accomplishments over the last 2 years.

Obstructing the rebel scum will be new mission. They cannot be allowed to retake what she has taken.

After all, it is my own opinion that Nancy Pelosi thought she was the Empress for the last 2 years and that Barack was the upstart who was getting in HER way.

Then there’s The Conspirator, aka Harry Reid. He who works behind the scenes to make it work through any means necessary.

You have the faceless “enemy”- The Rich. The Corporations. The Separatists.

You have the faceless, uniform soldiers of the cause, The Unions and the Bureaucracy. A hegemony of purpose and the foot soldiers of the cause.

And then you ad in an Orwellian touch, The Ministry of Truth. The Liberally-biased media that is a champion of the Empire’s needs and wants and will spread it’s message and lies far and wide across the land. Willingly so. And they all proclaims to be “fair” and “objective”.

Those who disagree with this view are the evil ones who are not fair and not objective: FOX,the Internet-Like Drudge,Daily Caller etc, and Talk Radio.

Which is why they must be controlled. So you send out the faceless bureaucratic clone minions of the FCC, the FTC, the FDA to stop them.

The SEIU are the people’s clone army. Foot soldiers for the cause.

Then there are the Liberal lawyers and judges who stop the resistance by ruling from ideology under the cover of law. To control the people ever further.

Then comes the Resistance, The Rebel Alliance.

A loose band of like-minded independent people who just want their freedoms back. To restore democracy and give all people a chance.

Meet THE TEA PARTY.

Hated, denigrated, and reviled by the Imperials.

But their allies in the Government haven’t proven they can be trusted yet. Not after the Lame Duck give aways they allowed.

So this chapter in the saga has yet to be written and it falls to all of us in the movement to keep the pressure on.

To quote yet another movie, “Never Give up! Never Surrender!”

Or as Master Yoda might say, ““Do or do not… there is no try.”

The Saga Continues.
