Holiday placemats for Social Justice

The Libs got caught with their hand in the Orwellian Cookie Jar again. But don’t worry, they ‘meant well’ so its not their fault and they won’t learn a blessed thing from this screw up. 🙂

Harvard apologized this week after people complained about the social justice placemats the College’s Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion passed out.

The university apologized on Wednesday for the “Holiday Placemats for Social Justice,” a misguided attempt to help students navigate winter break with curious family members after a tumultuous semester at many colleges nationwide.

Misguided. Misconstrued. Misquoted. Misinterpreted.

MISSED THE POINT ALL TOGETHER!! 🙂

The placemat provides “tips for talking to families” so you can explain 1) why black students aren’t “complaining,” they’re protesting at colleges for safe environments, 2) why the U.S. should take in Syrian refugees, 2) why Harvard changed the house “master” title, and 4) why white people don’t get the same treatment as black people do by the police.

Placemat

Naturally, they won’t take their OWN “sagely” and “tolerant” advice.

In the middle of the placemat, there are more general tips for talking to family members: “listen, breathe, ask, affirm and speak.”

The placemats offered helpful responses like: “When I hear students expressing their experiences of racism on campus, I don’t hear complaining. Instead I hear young people uplifting a situation that I might not experience.”

You white male privilege asshole! (who has a White Male Asshole of RICH father who can afford to send their little cherub of Liberal Joy to Harvard in the first place!).

Their parents dropped $200k on tuition and all they  got was a lousy placemat!!

Now, that struck many people as liberal coddling, and a Harvard Crimson column argues that the diversity office should be addressing such issues “in a less shallow and simplistic manner.”

It continues:

The handout shamefully parallels a similar tendency among activists to conflate well-meaning people who have the audacity to hold contrary opinions with racists and demagogues. Either you toe the party line, or your justifications don’t matter because you are too white, too male, or too privileged in some other way. Opponents of Yale activism are portrayed as racist, and those with concerns about Syrian refugees are painted as Islamophobic.

Even for those of us who agree with the handout on all its issues, this is an area for concern. There must be debate on these issues, at Harvard’s tables and in our homes. Presenting unglorified talking points not only wrongly attempts to stifle debate, but also stands in stark contradiction to the mission of the College to transform students “with exposure to new ideas, new ways of understanding, and new ways of knowing.”

In a column for The Harvard Crimson , student Idrees M. Kalhoon pointed out that the text for the placemats was taken word-for-word from a similar credited poster created by the group Showing Up for Racial Justice, whose aim is to move “white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability.”

Stop being Racists! you white privilege bastards! 🙂

Rich kids with too much “diversity” on their hands.

Amid a national storm of college protests over racism, Harvard University released a “diversity report” that called for sweeping administrative changes on campus. That very same day, someone put tape over the faces of black professors in their law school portraits.

The act was a disheartening reminder that protesters still have a lot of work to do.

Rinne-Julie Fruster, an organizer from Lasell College, in Newton, Mass., said there’s a misconception in higher education that students of color shouldn’t complain because they’re privileged to even be getting a degree.

“It’s good to hear from students at many different schools who feel that way, that they’ve been silenced by the privilege we’re seeing as having,” she said, “and who can speak out against it.”

But the power students earned in the past has gradually been eroded over time, Johnston said. Students need to win it back by making demands like the one recently launched by Boston College activists, who want students represented on the hiring committee for the school’s new executive director of the Office of Institutional Diversity.

“When students want more power in the universe, they have to fight not only to get it, but also to keep it,” he said. “So that’s something they’ll have to consider to not repeat what happened in the past.” (Boston.com)

Thanks for nothing, MLK! 🙂

And apparently the placemats got such blowback that Harvard had to issue a statement apologizing:

December 16, 2015

Dear Harvard College students,

We write to acknowledge that the placemat distributed in some of your dining halls this week failed to account for the many viewpoints that exist on our campus on some of the most complex issues we confront as a community and society today. Our goal was to provide a framework for you to engage in conversations with peers and family members as you return home for the winter break, however, it was not effectively presented and it ultimately caused confusion in our community. On behalf of the Office of Student Life and the Freshman Dean’s Office, we offer our sincere apologies for this situation.

Academic freedom is central to all that Harvard College stands for. To suggest that there is only one point of view on each of these issues runs counter to our educational goals. We appreciate the feedback that we have received about this initiative. Moving forward we will, with your continued input, support the growth and the development of independent minds.

Sincerely,

Stephen Lassonde
Dean of Student Life

Thomas Dingman
Dean of Freshmen

So endeth the lesson they won’t learn.

It’s Worse than We Thought

Political Cartoons by Michael Ramirez
It’s reality but not as we know it

John Hawkins: How radical, weird and out of touch have liberals on college campuses gotten since Obama came into office? It’s worse than you ever thought and although there is an almost unlimited number of problematic incidents to choose from, these 15 are particularly effective at getting across how bad things have become.

1) “College Students Say Remembering 9/11 Is Offensive to Muslims…. The everything-is-offensive brand of campus activism has struck a new low: Students at the University of Minnesota killed a proposed moment of silence for 9/11 victims due to concerns—insulting, childish concerns—that Muslim students would be offended.”

2) “Portland State University Offers Course Teaching How to ‘Make Whiteness Strange’…According to Portland State University Professor Rachel Sanders’ ‘White Privilege’ course, ‘whiteness’ must be dismantled if racial justice will ever be achieved. The course description states that ‘whiteness is the lynchpin of structures of racial meaning and racial inequality in the United States” and claims that ‘to preserve whiteness is to preserve racial injustice.’ Students taking the course will ‘endeavor to make whiteness strange.’ In order to make whiteness strange, the description says students must ‘interrogate whiteness as an unstable legal, political, social, and cultural construction.’”

3) “A University in the San Francisco Area Actually Told Students To Call 911 if They Were Offended….Administrators at a Catholic university in the San Francisco Bay Area have rescinded an official school policy instructing students to clog up the regional 9-1-1 emergency reporting system to report ‘bias incidents.’

The school is Santa Clara University, reports Campus Reform…Until this month, however, Santa Clara administrators have been instructing students to report ‘bias incidents’ using the emergency service reserved for dispatching police, firefighters and ambulances.

‘If the bias incident is in progress or just occurred: ALWAYS CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY,’ the Santa Clara website instructed students in fierce, all-capital letters.”

4) “Educators in the Volunteer State are very concerned that students might be offended by the usage of traditional pronouns like she, he, him and hers, according to a document from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

…For all you folks who went to school back when there were only him and her – here’s a primer: some of the new gender neutral pronouns are ze, hir, zir, xe, xem and xyr.”

5) “A Professor at Polk State College has allegedly failed a humanities student after she refused to concede that Jesus is a ‘myth’ or that Christianity oppresses women during a series of mandatory assignments at the Florida college. According to a press release from the Liberty Counsel, a non-profit public interest law firm, Humanities Professor Lance ‘Lj’ Russum gave a student a ‘zero’ on four separate papers because the 16-year-old did not ‘conform to his personal worldviews of Marxism, Atheism, Feminism, and homosexuality.’ The law firm has called for a full, private investigation of the professor and the course curriculum.”

6) “College Codes Make ‘Color Blindness’ a Microaggression…wait, what?…. UCLA says “Color Blindness,” the idea we shouldn’t obsess over people’s race, is a microaggression. If you refuse to treat an individual as a ‘racial/cultural being,’ then you’re being aggressive.”

7) “The phrase ‘politically correct’ is now a microaggression according to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The university’s ‘Just Words’ campaign is the work of UWM’s ‘Inclusive Excellence Center’ and aims to ‘raise awareness of microaggressions and their impact’—microaggressions like ‘politically correct’ or ‘PC.’”

8) ) “‘American,’ ‘illegal alien,’ ‘foreigners,’ ‘mothering,’ and ‘fathering’ are just a handful of words deemed ‘problematic’ by the University of New Hampshire’s Bias-Free Language Guide….Saying ‘American’ to reference Americans is also problematic. The guide encourages the use of the more inclusive substitutes ‘U.S. citizen’ or ‘Resident of the U.S.’ The guide also tries to get students to stop saying ‘Caucasian,’ ‘illegal Immigrant,’ ‘mother,’ ‘father’ and even the word ‘healthy’ is said to shame those who aren’t healthy.”

9) “Late yesterday afternoon, ACLJ filed a lawsuit on behalf of Brandon Jenkins against officials of The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in Maryland for denying Brandon admission to its Radiation Therapy Program in part due to his expression of religious beliefs. As one faculty member explained to Brandon, on behalf of CCBC, the ‘field [of radiation therapy] is not the place for religion.’”

10) “A California school co-founded by a firebrand who once called for an ‘intifada’ in the U.S. has become the nation’s first accredited Muslim college.”

11) “According to Coastal Carolina University, sex is only consensual if both parties are completely sober and if consent is not only present, but also enthusiastic. This is a troubling standard that converts many ordinary, lawful sexual encounters into sexual assault, and it should frighten any student at CCU.”

12) “Clemson University apologizes for serving Mexican food…Students took to Twitter to call the event culturally insensitive and to question the school’s efforts to promote diversity….Clemson Dining issued an apology to ‘offended’ students after hosting a ‘Maximum Mexican’ food day.”

13) “All-Women’s College Cancels ‘Vagina Monologues’ Because it Excludes Women Without Vaginas.”

14) “The ‘Black Lives Matter’ leader who landed a teaching gig at Yale University delivered a lecture this week on the historical merits of looting as a form of protest, backing up his lesson with required reading that puts modern-day marauders on par with the patriots behind the Boston Tea Party.”

15) “Assistant Dean (at Cornell) Tells a Project Veritas Investigative Journalist that the University Would Allow an ISIS Terrorist to Hold a ‘Training Camp’ on Campus, Saying: ‘It Would be Like Bringing in a Coach to do a Training on a Sports Team.'”

BE AFRAID of the Crybaby Generation, Be very Afraid.

Tranforming America

In this presidential cycle, voters in both parties, to the surprise of the punditocracy, are rejecting experienced political leaders. They’re willfully suspending disbelief in challengers who would have been considered laughable in earlier years.

Polls show more Republicans preferring three candidates who have never held elective office over 14 candidates who have served a combined total of 150 years as governors or in Congress. Most Democrats are declining to favor a candidate who spent eight years in the White House and the Senate and four as secretary of state.

And going in larger numbers for the complete Socialist package with little baggage, Bernie Sanders.

Psephologists of varying stripes attribute this discontent to varying causes. Conservatives blame insufficiently aggressive Republican congressional leaders. Liberals blame Hillary Clinton’s closeness to plutocrats and her home email system.

But in our system the widespread rejection of experienced leaders ultimately comes from dismay at the leader in the White House. In 1960 Richard Nixon, after eight years as vice president and six in Congress, campaigned on the slogan “Experience counts.” No one is running on that theme this year.

Nixon could, because over the preceding quarter-century the majority of Americans mostly approved of the performance of incumbent presidents. Presidents Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower still look pretty good more than 50 years later.

Barack Obama doesn’t. His deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes recently said that the president’s nuclear weapons deal with Iran was as important an achievement of his second term as Obamacare was of the first. Historians may well agree.

These two policy achievements have many things in common.

nuclear_blast

Both were unpopular when proposed and still are now. In March 2010 Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that people would know, and presumably like, what was in the bill after it was passed. But most Americans didn’t like it then and most don’t today, five and a half years later. As for the Iran deal, Pew Research reports it has only 21 percent approval today, much lower than Obamacare in 2010.

But since both are on THE AGENDA, they and The Ministry of Truth are happy.

What “the American People” want is irrelevant nowadays. It’s what The Agenda wants, whether it’s The Democrats or The Republican Elite RINOs.

Both Obamacare and the Iran deal were bulldozed through Congress through legislative legerdemain. Democrats passed Obamacare by using the temporary 60-vote Senate supermajority gained through a Minnesota recount and the wrongful prosecution of Sen. Ted Stevens. After they lost the 60th vote, they resorted to a dubious legislative procedure.

The Agenda is The Agenda.

This year Obama labeled the Iran treaty an executive agreement, and Congress concocted a process requiring only a one-third-plus-one rather than a two-thirds vote for approval. Only 38 percent of members of Congress supported it. Many, such as House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, did so only after saying that they never would have accepted it in negotiations.

But the Republicans, allegedly in control of Congress,  willfully submitted to this slight of hand rather than stand on the principles that got them elected in the first place.

And they have done this REPEATEDLY. The Minority (Democrats) are still in control of Congress.

In 2008 Obama promised he would “fundamentally transform” America, and Obamacare and the Iran deal are indeed fundamental transformations of policy –transformations most Americans oppose.

But are on THE AGENDA, so they must be.

Obamacare assumed that financial crisis and recession would make most voters supportive of, or amenable to, bigger government. But as National Review’s Ramesh Ponnuru points out, polling doesn’t show that. Obama assumed that if America could “extend a hand” to such propitiated enemies as the mullahs of Iran, they would become friends with us. Most Americans think that’s delusional. No wonder voters are angry.

So he goes out an gets more Illegals to vote for Democrats instead. After all, it’s about the power of Homo Superior Liberalis. The Agenda is The Agenda.

Republican voters are frustrated and angry because for six years they have believed they have public opinion on their side, but their congressional leaders have failed to prevail on high visibility issues. Their successes (clamping down on domestic discretionary spending) have been invisible. They haven’t made gains through compromise because Obama, unlike his two predecessors, lacks both the inclination and ability to make deals.

Rigid Ideologues and weak spined Republicans will do that.

So Republicans who imposed harsh litmus tests in previous presidential cycles (like asking candidates if they’ve ever supported a tax increase, or if they’ve ever wavered in their opposition to abortion) are flocking to Donald Trump, a candidate who would fail every one of them. They are paying little attention to candidates — Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Bobby Jindal — who advance serious proposals to change public policy.

Because, we don’t believe them. The proof is in the Jar Jar Boehner and Mitch The Ditch pudding.

In polls, Democratic voters have stayed loyal to the president. But to listen to their candidates (and maybe-candidate Joe Biden) you would think we are in our seventh year of oppression by a right-wing administration. You don’t hear much about the virtues of Obamacare or the Iran deal — or “choice.”

Of course not, it’s still, Vote for Me, the “other guy” is an asshole. The “other guy” is still the fear mongering and “Bush” narratives. Grandma is still going be thrown out in the street by evil White, Male, Rich Republicans. The candy is still going to be stolen from babies by evil, heartless Conservatives.

The narrative hasn’t changed because The Democrats haven’t changed.

Most Americans hoped the first black president would improve race relations. Now most Americans believe they have gotten worse.

White Guilt has bit them in the asp!

And so a president who came to office with relatively little experience has managed to tarnish experience, incumbency and institutions: a fundamental transformation indeed. (Michael Barone)

Got Privilege

Highlights from the National White Privilege Conference in Madiso, WI 2014.

The city of Madison hosted the 15th annual national White Privilege Conference last week at the Monona Terrace to discuss issues of white supremacy, social justice, education and the Tea Party. The MacIver Institute highlighted one of the breakout sessions on Tuesday about white privilege in the classroom.

We are continuing our coverage of the conference with more details about other sessions that were held. Our second account comes from the breakout session titled: Against the Tea Party.

The session was facilitated by Leonard Zeskind, a human rights activist who writes on the topics of racism, anti-Semitism and the white supremacist movement. He is a lifetime member of the NAACP and serves as the current president of the Institute for Research & Education on Human Rights, which regularly reports on the Tea Party. He is also the author of Blood and Politics: The History of White Nationalism from the Margins to the Mainstream and serves as a fellow for The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

Massive Progressive Liberal. Ministry of Truth all the way.

Zeskind began the session with a series of questions to gauge what the group was interested in and what the main focus of the discussion should be. Among questions about attendees’ views on the Tea Party, he took an opportunity to thank people for participating in the 2011 protests over Wisconsin’s collective bargaining reforms known as Act 10.

Which, they lost and the state suddenly was more prosperous. So that must be why the Liberals and their Union thugs hate the Tea Party.

“How many of you engaged in the fight on trade union rights in 2011?” he asked the group. About a third of the room had participated. “Give yourselves a hand.”

Zeskind said the goals of the session included discussing the structure and strategies of the Tea Party, how to defeat it, and the relationship of the Tea Party to racism.

Does he even understand it? or is just the nebulous enemy of his ideology?

He drew multiple comparisons between the Tea Party and White Nationalists and highlighted a study that shows Tea Party members are racist.

A study done by Progressives no doubt because that’s a very broad statement.

“There’s been a recent academic study, and I say academic because people here are, most of you are academic something-or-the-others, and there has been a longitudinal study that finds the longer you are in the Tea Party, the more racist you become,” he told the group.

And the longer you’re a Progressive Liberal the more Orwellian you become. The more you have a desire to rule over everyone in a very Socialist Control Freak manner. The more Progressive you get the more like the Thought Police you become. 🙂

Soon after, an attendee asked, “In your judgment would you say the Tea Party is a ‘hate group’?” Zeskind said that he doesn’t use the term, but argued the group is racist.

Gee, thanks for the backhanded compliment.

“I don’t ever use the term ‘hate group.’ I don’t use it, it is unscientific, imprecise and subject to all sorts of bullshit as far as I’m concerned,” Zeskind said.

Which is why MOST Progressive label anyone who is against them a “hate group”, but this guy is so superior he’s above all that. 🙂

“You know, I used to use it when I was in that universe of working for somebody else, and so-forth. I think you call it for what it is. Is it racist? Yes.”

It’s racist because anyone who disagrees with Homo Superior Liberalis is a racist and a bigot, full stop. At least that’s the way they view the world. If you disagree with them you must there be one because their exclusionary Thought Police Politically Correct mind is so vastly superior to the mere mortal that its hard for them to think down to your level.

During the 90-minute session, Zeskind also discussed what he believes is at the core of the Tea Party.

He has no FUCKING CLUE, but this should be ideologically entertaining. Its a bit like an Orwellian socialists trying to figure out what freedom is.

He talked about the term, dispossession, which he said is the notion that the status of white men has fallen.

So fundamentally, The Tea Party is made up of primarily White People, and since White People are all racists then the Tea Party is Racist.

Anyone want to point out the logic error? 🙂

“Now it just so happens that white men still have all the privileges that they have ever had. They are still richer than all bejesus, and they got the best health care, and so-forth and so-forth,” he said during the session.

I do? Where? Did I miss a memo or a secret handshake?

“But these people think that black people are running the United States of America.

Wow, you’re a twonk. I think the Socialist Democrats and The RINO Elitist Republicans are running the country.

But then again, on the Left, EVERYTHING comes down to race and gender division politics. They can’t conceive of the world in any other way.

Mind you, electing a “black man” was supposed to make this a post-racial world, at least that was the lie the Left told the White Guilt Crowd to get them to vote for the Socialist in the first place.

Then when he got elected, they made sure that anyone who disagreed with him or them was in fact a Racist by definition. Instead of “post racial” you have “nothing BUT racial”.

These people, these Tea Partiers think that black people are oppressing them as white people. These Tea Partiers think that they are a dispossessed majority.”

Half right. We are a dispossessed people, the one that thinks the Constitution has been shredded for Political Elitism and Political Correctness.

We Believe in the Constitution. The Left does not. The Republican Elites do not.

But since Progressive see EVERYTHING through the prism of race or gender we are the Anti-Christ because we are evil on both to them. We are the soldiers of their Anti-Christ.

The people who want Freedom & The Constitution back.

How evil is that! 🙂 Man, I just can’t contain my evil…

He said members of the Tea Party describe themselves as “Obama’s slaves,” and are fighting to keep their white privilege.

That undoubtedly is what THEY THINK we say, because it makes them feel good. The problem is, unlike groupthink Progressive Liberals the Tea Party is not a hive mind and it reminds me of a woman I knew in college.

I was in The College of Education at Arizona State in the early 1990s (long story) but I met this classmate who was absolutely convinced to her core that their was Satanism in schools and her job as a teacher was to root that out and destroy it.

Imagine what would happen if she didn’t find it?

Her entire reason for her self-worth and self-righteousness would be crushed. So, of course, she’ll find it. Even if its not there.

It must exist.

So the Tea Party and anyone who opposes a Progressive must therefore be eith a Racist or a Bigot or Both. End of story.

And they fundamentally don’t understand sarcasm.

“That’s the funny thing about white privilege. These folks want it, but they don’t think they have it anymore, since the white monopoly on the presidency was broke, it’s not their country,” Zeskind told the group. “They want their country back, to quote them.”

Don’t you love how everything fits very neatly into THEIR ideology. The perfect enemy of their State.

About 70 people attended the session and it eventually moved away from the Tea Party and focused on white people in general, and education, specifically.

Because education is political (as stated yesterday by one their own) and they must get the young before they are infected by “freedom” of thought.

Zeskind argued that parents who enroll their children in private schools “put their kids in little white academies,” and they enroll them in private education because they are racist.

After all, that WOULD haave to be the ONLY reason. The fact that public schools are crap and overrun by Progressive Liberals has nothing to do with it. 🙂

Zeskind also discussed his role as a peer-based organizer. He said the best way to organize is through building relationships.

And controlling people.

“I worked in heavy industry. You bet I organized on the job. I went to the shithouse with the guys…ate lunch with them, skipped work with them. Occasionally we got drunk on the job,” he said. “You had relationships, you were friends, you could talk about anything with the people that you knew.”

And naturally non-union people (which is the vast majority) never do that. They are all white elitist racists…

He argued it is important to organize against the Tea Party to defeat them.

Defeat The Constitution, you mean.

“I think standing up and saying, whatever organization or wherever you’re active at, having that organization stand up and say the Tea Party is a racist problem and we want to get rid of it. If you’ll stand up and say it like that, people will listen to you.”

Progressives will because they have a Hive Mind. Everyone else will think you’re a nutter! Which you are…

Zeskind encouraged everyone to check out more information on white supremacists and Tea Party members at the Institute for Research & Education on Human Rights (IREHR) website. IREHR aims “to continue examining racist, anti-Semitic, and far right social movements, analyzing their intersection with civil society and social policy, and to educate the public and assist in the protection and extension of human rights through organization and informed mobilization,” according to their website.

Blah, Blah, Blah, $3 words for “we’ll invesitgate anyone who disagrees with us and label them a racist or bigot and try to control the thoughts and minds of everyone so that Big Brother is supreme”. All Hail Big Brother.

He’s watching you…

The conference was paid for in part with taxpayer dollars. (Maciver institute)

They were too cheap to even pay for it themselves, they had to have other people pay for it. Typical Liberal.

PRESS RELEASES THREATS MADE AGAINST THE CITIZENS OF LA PLATA

On September 2, 2015 at approximately 4:43 P.M., the La Plata Police Department was alerted to a threat of violence against La Plata residents that was made on social media. The agency is working with allied law enforcement agencies to establish the creditability of the threat and the identity of the individual. The tweet read, “IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LA PLATA”

More information will be forthcoming as it is available. The Department has added extra officers to patrol in an effort to protect the public.

The individual was identified as Carlos Anthony Hollins and was taken into custody. The culprit continued, however, to post on social media and defend his tweet, insisting that he was just “joking.” (townhall)

Of course he was…Just like Hillary was telling the truth about Benghazi.

Lighten up will you it’s not like the Far Left thinks all White people and all Cops are Racists! 🙂

Agree with me or else!

White People

Are evil. End of discussion. 🙂

MTV will air a show later this month entitled White People which shows young white Americans crying on camera over their “white privilege” and publicly shaming them for “what they’ve done in America”.

Remember, back in the Jurassic Era when MTV stood for Music Television and all they showed was Music Videos?

No, this is not a joke. The documentary is hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, an illegal immigrant and amnesty activist who has worked for the Washington Post and the Huffington Post.

The trailer for the show, which has been widely criticized by YouTube respondents, features white people expressing angst about how they are desperate not to appear “racist” or “offend people.”

According to Kimberly Ricci, the documentary forces the participants “to internalize what they’ve done in America” – in other words, this a huge exercise in white guilt tripping for public consumption.

An MTV write up of the show also explains how Vargas talks to young Native Americans who feel that European settlers did not ‘save the country’.

“They are the ones who invaded. They are the ones who took,” says Vargas.

Thus marches on the Progressive Liberal guilt trip meant to cow you and to destroy your will to resist their take over of your mind and body.

The high-and-mighty Homo Superior Liberalis behind this piece of shit wants to have a “constructive conversation”…LIKE HELL HE DOES!

Liberal Translation– “Constructive conversation”= You are guilty and you should repent and feel bad about not doing everything we want you to do or say because we are so much better than you.

It’s Sermon on the Mount time when The Progressive Gods pontificate and you repent not only YOUR sins but the sins of every Caucasian that has ever lived.

It’s Political Correctness gone beyond Orwell’s even most fervent imaginings.

Frankenstein’s Orwellian Monster sees itself as God.

Responses to the video trailer on YouTube were savage, with the clip receiving twice as many ‘thumbs down’ in comparison to ‘thumbs up’.

“I’m black, even I know this show is straight up racist. Only because it’s stereotyping white people, all white INDIVIDUALS are not like that,” wrote one respondent.

But the Agenda is the Agenda and they are on a Holy mission to make you them, or at least a mindless, cowed, servile, slave of THEM.

After all, they are Homo Superior Liberalis and they are just so vastly superior to you that they just can’t even comprehend how you can’t see The Light and The Truth of just how magnificent they are.

However, many in the liberal media are celebrating the show, with Kristen Yoonsoo remarking how pleased she is about the fact that, “lots of white people tears lie ahead.”

“It’s always a good time poking fun at white people,” she concludes.

They enjoy their superiority too much. They are a callous GOD. And they don’t care.

This GOD is cruel, judgmental, callous, and only interested in your total and absolute servitude in both mind and body. Nothing less will be acceptable.

So we have to tear you down and destroy you before we can build you up againas the perfect slave to your superior Masters.

Enjoy.

They certainly do.

Old White Dude

Obama’s Common Core Government Overlord education requires it, but a California educator feels there is no value in an old white male writer from 400 years ago. So what if he’s regarded as the greatest playwright in history. He’s British, He’s old, irrelevant, but mostly he’s just white.

William Shakespeare!

By Dana Dusbiber

Luther Burbank High School, the largest urban high school in Sacramento, Calif. (read: non-white majority).

I am a high school English teacher. I am not supposed to dislike Shakespeare. But I do. And not only do I dislike Shakespeare because of my own personal disinterest in reading stories written in an early form of the English language that I cannot always easily navigate, but also because there is a WORLD of really exciting literature out there that better speaks to the needs of my very ethnically-diverse and wonderfully curious modern-day students.

I do not believe that I am “cheating” my students because we do not read Shakespeare. I do not believe that a long-dead, British guy is the only writer who can teach my students about the human condition. I do not believe that not viewing “Romeo and Juliet” or any other modern adaptation of a Shakespeare play will make my students less able to go out into the world and understand language or human behavior. Mostly, I do not believe I should do something in the classroom just because it has “always been done that way.”

That’s why you have to be creative, not politically correct.

I am sad that so many of my colleagues teach a canon that some white people decided upon so long ago and do it without question. I am sad that we don’t believe enough in ourselves as professionals to challenge the way that it has “always been done.” I am sad that we don’t reach beyond our own often narrow beliefs about how young people become literate to incorporate new research on how teenagers learn, and a belief that our students should be excited about what they read — and that may often mean that we need to find the time to let them choose their own literature.

I was an English major. I am a voracious reader. I have enjoyed reading some of the classics. And while I appreciate that many people enjoy re-reading texts that they have read multiple times, I enjoy reading a wide range of literature written by a wide range of ethnically-diverse writers who tell stories about the human experience as it is experienced today. Shakespeare lived in a pretty small world. It might now be appropriate for us to acknowledge him as chronicler of life as he saw it 450 years ago and leave it at that.

She lives in a very small, politically correct world herself. 🙂

What I worry about is that as long as we continue to cling to ONE (white) MAN’S view of life as he lived it so long ago, we (perhaps unwittingly) promote the notion that other cultural perspectives are less important. In the 25 years that I have been a secondary teacher, I have heard countless times, from respected teachers (mostly white), that they will ALWAYS teach Shakespeare, because our students need Shakespeare and his teachings on the human condition.

So I ask, why not teach the oral tradition out of Africa, which includes an equally relevant commentary on human behavior? Why not teach translations of early writings or oral storytelling from Latin America or Southeast Asia other parts of the world? Many, many of our students come from these languages and traditions. Why do our students not deserve to study these “other” literatures with equal time and value? And if time is the issue in our classrooms, perhaps we no longer have the time to study the Western canon that so many of us know and hold dear.

Why not show the commonality instead of the division? Because you’re a Liberal, that’s why…

Here then, is my argument: If we only teach students of color, as I have been fortunate to do my entire career, then it is far past the time for us to dispense with our Eurocentric presentation of the literary world. Conversely, if we only teach white students, it is our imperative duty to open them up to a world of diversity through literature that they may never encounter anywhere else in their lives. I admit that this proposal, that we leave Shakespeare out of the English curriculum entirely, will offend many.

Open up white students to “diversity” aka Liberal White guilt and Political correctness. But black kids, teach them that anything deemed “white” is not relevant to their lives.

Now that’s “education”! 🙂

But if now isn’t the time to break some school rules and think about how to bring literature of color to our student’s lives, when will that time be?

Let’s let Shakespeare rest in peace, and start a new discussion about middle and high school right-of-passage reading and literature study. (WP)

You can do both, but it won’t fit into your Politically Correct, White-Hate agenda though. You have limited yourself and your students to your own narrow definition of “reality” and that is not what a teacher should do.

The fact that any English teacher would remove him from the syllabus because of some haphazard, white-guilt notion that analyzing his works in class will somehow make Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, or other students of color could get depressed, or feel bad about themselves sounds like a pretty awful reason. I think Dusbiber (perhaps unwittingly) is overthinking this issue. Yet, with liberals, everything is political. That fetish of landing on the right side of history has placed Shakespeare in the crosshairs–at least with this teacher.

Matthew Truesdale, an English teacher at Wren High School in Piedmont, S.C. had this response… (WP)

Dana Dusbiber does a disservice to teachers and particularly those of us who teach English when she makes the argument that Shakespeare should be left to “rest in peace.”

Ms. Dusbiber is frustrated by the narrowness of the Western canon and by the expectation that high school students read Shakespeare.  But that expectation is not a new one.  Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet have been staples of any high school English curriculum for years upon years.  I prefer Othello, so I teach that.  But I don’t do it because I feel beholden to any set of expectations or standards–I do it because I want my students to have the experience of reading it…that’s it, and that’s all.

I often tell my students that one of the main reasons to read a Shakespeare play is simply for the privilege of telling others you’ve read a Shakespeare play.  In certain arenas, being able to carry on even a brief conversation about a plot point from King Lear is important and can give one credibility. I also think it’s a neat little thing to see something in a movie, another book, or even (gasp!) real life, and think, “Hey—this reminds me of that scene in Hamlet when…”

But my complaint Dusbiber’s post is this:  She argues that her students shouldn’t have to read Shakespeare because other literature “better speaks to the needs of my very ethnically-diverse and wonderfully curious modern-day students.”  She then goes on to write that it might be “appropriate to acknowledge him as a chronicler of life as he saw it 450 years ago and leave it at that.”

So what Shakespeare wrote 450 years ago is not applicable to her teaching today?  Ethnically diverse students don’t foolishly fall in love and over-dramatize every facet of that experience?  Or feel jealousy or rage?  Or fall victim to discrimination?  Or act desperately out of passion?  To dismiss Shakespeare on the grounds that life 450 years ago has no relation to life today is to dismiss every religious text, every piece of ancient mythology (Greek, African, Native American, etc.), and for that matter, everything that wasn’t written in whatever time defined as “NOW.” And yes– Shakespeare was in fact a white male. But look at the characters of Othello and Emila (among others), and you’ll see a humane, progressive, and even diverse portrayal of the complexities of race and gender.

If Ms. Dusbiber doesn’t want to teach Shakespeare or doesn’t like Shakespeare or thinks Shakespeare is too hard for her students, then fine…let that be her reasoning.  Any teacher, myself included, has made decisions to switch out texts based on any number of factors.

What she really seems to be saying is that no one should read anything that isn’t just like them, and if that’s her position as an English teacher, then she should maybe consider a different line of work.

But then she’d be a poor Liberal “example” then. (Alinsky rule: Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.)

Shakespeare is more than just a “long dead British guy,” and I believe he has much to teach us about the modern human condition. When the general Othello, who has lived a life full of valor and who has had experiences far beyond and far greater than those of his men, still falls victim to Iago’s head games for no other reason than that he is different, an other, and can’t quite forget that, no matter his accomplishments, we empathize precisely because we’ve been there. Most of us have felt insecurities that come not because we can’t succeed or haven’t succeeded, but that instead come because of how we are seen and judged.

Also–where does it say that we can’t teach Shakespeare AND oral African tradition?  In fact, why not work to draw links between the two? And should we only read authors that look like us and have experiences like us?  Or for that matter, does a commonality in skin color mean a commonality in experience? I teach at a rural South Carolina school with a mostly white population—should I only teach white authors? Will all of my white students feel an immediate kinship to Faulkner or Hemingway to Twain?  Will all of my female students see themselves perfectly in the characters of Flannery O’Connor? Will all of my black students read A Raisin in the Sun and immediately connect to the desperation and inner turmoil of Walter Younger?  Obviously not.

Ms. Dusbiber’s argument is largely reductive, and it turns the English classroom into a place where no one should be challenged or asked to step out of their comfort zone, where we should not look beyond ourselves.

I, however, think English class is the perfect place to push and prod and even piss off students sometimes, and I can’t do that if I’m only ever holding up a mirror. Windows are good, too.

But that would be politically incorrect. White people are evil. White males, doubly so.

So the world of Liberal education is about contraction of ideas so that you don’t stray from the Politically Correct path.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. They have your young. They have your future in their hands.

The Death of Martin Luther King, Jr

mlk hate MLK

50 Years of Democrat rule and the complete loss of the principles that got them their rights in the first place.

“I made it very clear that I work with the police and instructed them to do everything that they could to make sure that the protesters were able to exercise their right to free speech,” Rawlings-Blake said. “It’s a very delicate balancing act. Because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well. And we worked very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”

The president of the Baltimore City Council apologized for calling rioters “thugs” at a press conference Tuesday, calling those responsible for the violence “misdirected” youths. Standing side-by-side with self-proclaimed gang members, Jack Young said that gang members stood in front of stores to prevent looting and retracted claims that gang members were targeting the Baltimore police. “We are all Baltimoreans,” Young said. Almost 200 people were arrested during Monday night’s riots. At least 144 vehicles and 15 buildings were burned, according to the mayor’s office.

No wonder the left can’t identify Radical Muslims as Radical Muslims.

Orwell’s principle wrought forth

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

CLASS/GENDER/RACE  WAR IS PEACE

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

Then  there’s Salon.com (Leftists) that ADVOCATES violence as the only means, and non-violence (ala MLK) is worthless.

I’m overwhelmed by the pervasive slandering of protesters in Baltimore this weekend for not remaining peaceful. The bad-apple rhetoric would have us believe that most Baltimore protesters are demonstrating the right way—as is their constitutional right—and only a few are disrupting the peace, giving the movement a bad name.

This spin should be disregarded, first because of the virtual media blackout of any of the action happening on the ground, particularly over the weekend. Equally, it makes no sense to cite the Constitution in any demonstration for Black civil rights (that document was not written about us, remember?), but certainly not one organized specifically to call attention to the fact that the state breaks its own laws with regard to the oppressed on a nearly constant basis.

But there is an even bigger problem. Referring to Black Lives Matter protests, as well as organic responses to police and state violence as “non-violent” or “peaceful” erases the actual climate in which these movements are acting, the militant strategies that have rendered them effective, and the long history of riots and direct action on which they are built.

I do not advocate non-violence—particularly in a moment like the one we currently face. In the spirit and words of militant Black and Brown feminist movements from around the globe, I believe it is crucial that we see non-violence as a tactic, not a philosophy.

Non-violence is a type of political performance designed to raise awareness and win over sympathy of those with privilege. When those on the outside of struggle—the white, the wealthy, the straight, the able-bodied, the masculine—have demonstrated repeatedly that they do not care, are not invested, are not going to step in the line of fire to defend the oppressed, this is a futile political strategy. It not only fails to meet the needs of the community, but actually puts oppressed people in further danger of violence.

Telling someone to be peaceful and shaming their militance not only lacks a nuanced and historical political understanding, it is literally a deadly and irresponsible demand.

The political goals of rioters in Baltimore are not unclear—just as they were not unclear when poor, Black people rioted in Ferguson last fall. When the free market, real estate, the elected government, the legal system have all shown you they are not going to protect you—in fact, that they are the sources of the greatest violence you face—then political action becomes about stopping the machine that is trying to kill you, even if only for a moment, getting the boot off your neck, even if it only allows you a second of air. This is exactly what blocking off streets, disrupting white consumerism, and destroying state property are designed to do.

When there is more concern for white sports fans in the vicinity of a riot than the Black people facing off with police, there is mounting justification for the rage and pain of Black communities in this country.

What kinds of actions will it take to make it widely understood that all policing is racist terror, and justice can only come with its permanent abolition?

Black power, Queer power, power to Baltimore, and to all oppressed people who know what time it is.

But not to worry, it’s not their fault, after all, they’re hearts are in the right place and they “care” unlike Republicans…

President Obama  made clear that the reason the citizens of Baltimore are rioting out of control is – wait for it – because Republicans have failed to pass his legislative agenda.
They haven’t thrown enough money at the problem!!

Throwing money at a problem – especially Federal money – might make elected leadership feel good, and prevent upper class white liberals from having to face the reality of inner city life by keeping it at a safe distance with checks from the IRS, but it seldom does anything to repair infrastructure or rebuild an eroding community. And it certainly does nothing to improve the quality of leadership that people in flailing urban areas experience (and Baltimore looks to be the same story). In Detroit, it took a plotline straight out of Gotham City – the mysterious death of a stripper and the mayoral persecution of two rogue cops looking to bring her and her family justice – to start the ball rolling on reform. The Federal government threw millions – billions – at Detroit to bail it out, and it spent it all on hookers and cocaine.

Literally.

But far be it from Barack Obama to address the real root causes of violence. I suppose the good news is he’s too busy than to use the city as a prop for a photo opportunity. (American Spectator)

The Daily Caller asked Hoyer, a Maryland Democrat, if the city’s leadership had failed, since the West Baltimore area was still being rebuilt from the 1968 riots. Hoyer replied, “We have to invest in making sure that we have proper infrastructure and proper housing so that we have neighborhoods that are safe and that we safe conditions in which to live.”

“But I wouldn’t call it a failure, certainly, of Baltimore,” he added. “But we’re going to have to as a country invest if we’re going to have the kinds of communities we want.

MLK is dead.

Not just physically, but spiritually DEAD.
