We Three Kings

We go our reporter in DC where there has been a report of a Massive CAVE-IN…

Reporter: “Sorry, all we could find was this caroler out of the White House and The Capitol.”

Singing.

We three kings of D.C. are
Bearing gifts we from amber waves of grain.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star, Obama.

O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Leftward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.

Born a king on Hawaii’s plain,
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.

O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Progressive leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.

Debt to offer have I.
Taxes owns a Deity now.
Prayer and praising all men raising,
Worship Him, God on high.

O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Authoritarian leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.

ObamaCare is mine: it’s bitter perfume
Breaths a life of gathering gloom.
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding dying,
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.

O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Democrat leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.

Glorious now behold Him arise,
King and God and Sacrifice.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Sounds through the earth and skies.

O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Slavery leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light

All Hail, Our God Government and his Sheppards, We Thee Kings- Barack Obama, John Boehner and Harry Reid.

May they reign over us for the rest of eternity in their mighty and superior light!

Back to you in the Studio, I. Told Uso, reporting… 🙂

The Sith Lord Strikes

Political Cartoons by Glenn Foden

I told you Boehner and the Republicans had no balls and were cowards and that they’d cave into the Democrats. Which is why Obama wasn’t actually “negotiating” because the Republicans are too weak minded for his Sith Lord Mind Tricks.

“These are not the Spending Cuts you’re looking for…”

“Move along…Move along…”

“You don’t need Spending Cuts…”

The source said Obama sees the offer made on Friday by U.S. House Speaker John Boehner as a sign of progress, but simply believes it is not enough and there is much more to be worked out before Obama can reciprocate.

Translation: He has caved, but not completely and that is what he needs to convert him to the Dark Side and forgo all his previous beliefs and mark him for all time so he may be destroyed.

“Stimulus is not a bad thing….It’s Fair…”

After all, the Chancellor leading the Rebellion against the Separatist is a Sith Lord also, Chancellor Palapatine.

So we have The Dark Lord of The Sith, Barack Obama.

And Speaker Boehner who is now Jar Jar Binks (who started the war by being manipulated into it because he’s a simpleton).

“So This is How Liberty Dies : With Thunderous Applause” – Padme Amidala

Or an election….

Political Cartoons by Glenn McCoy

In this season of giving, no one’s been more generous than John Boehner. Three times in fiscal cliff talks, he has offered Democrats more — only to get nothing in return. He really gives till it hurts.

Once again, the Republicans play Santa Claus to the Democrats’ Grinch — although, frankly, the GOP’s generosity is fueled by panic over being blamed for the U.S. going over the Democrat-created fiscal cliff.

In the latest round of concessions to President Obama, House Speaker Boehner is offering to put off the fight over the current $16.4 trillion federal debt limit for an entire year — one of the few bits of leverage the Republicans still have in negotiations.

That’s not all. He’s also surrendering on taxes, saying he’ll support tax hikes on millionaires to generate $460 billion in new revenues over the next decade. Coupled with the elimination of many tax deductions, that would give Obama some $1 trillion in new revenues to spend over the next 10 years.

In all fairness, Boehner is also proposing spending cuts of about $1 trillion. So that makes for $2 trillion in total potential deficit reduction by 2022.

How does that match up to fiscal reality?

Despite compromising on all the GOP’s principles, Boehner’s offer is chump change compared with $47 trillion in spending and $8.6 trillion in deficits forecast over the next decade. It only postpones disaster.

Obama, unlike Boehner, has offered no compromise we’re aware of — no more cuts, no deals on tax hikes, no entitlement or tax reform, nothing. Take it or leave it.

Boehner has said his offer is contingent on Obama making cuts in entitlements. But as we’ve found before — under President Reagan and both Presidents Bush — even when Democrats promise cuts, they don’t deliver.

Boehner isn’t just giving away the store. He’s giving away the whole mall.

We’re told that tax hikes on those with high incomes — most of whom receive income from small businesses whose profits are reported on their personal taxes — are needed for a “deal” with recalcitrant Democrats and Obama to avoid the fiscal cliff.

But a deal implies a quid pro quo.

Boehner has three times offered compromise with the Democrats: First, when he put “tax revenues” on the table in talks; second, when he offered to cap deductions; and now as he caves on the GOP principle of not raising tax rates by offering to do just that on millionaires.

In a recent Rasmussen poll, 73% of Americans said they want spending cuts, not increases. By disregarding this, Boehner has damaged his party’s brand with voters and fiscal conservatives for nothing in return.

Yes, it’s better to give than receive. But this isn’t a gift exchange. It’s a budget negotiation. Better to walk away than deliver more gifts to ungrateful recipients.

Welcome to One-Party Rule, unfortunately for you it’s Authoritarian Progressive Socialism.

Congrats. You are now officially European/China/Russia. It sure as hell ain’t America anymore.

Blink

Jedidiah Bila: Are you feeling principled today? How about gutsy? Are the wishes of voters — the same voters that afforded you a 2010 landslide victory — at the forefront of your minds?

I certainly hope so.

As conservatives across the country await a decision as to whether or not there will be an increase in the debt ceiling, we can’t help but wonder if you will dig in your heels and stand for something.

Will you prioritize significant — and I mean significant — spending reductions?

Will you refuse to accept tax hikes and stand firm against class warfare?

Will you fight for a balanced budget amendment?

Will you call out the left’s precious “shared sacrifice” talking point for what it is, a class-warfare driven divisive tool that aims to pit one American against another and demonize our country’s job creators?

Will you articulate that in America, we don’t take from one person to give to another? We unleash a booming private sector where people have the opportunity to build their own successes.

Will you draw a clear line of demarcation between the big-government, tax-and-spend agenda of the left and what should be a limited-government, pro-growth agenda on the right?

Will you only embrace “compromise” when it’s in the best interest of the country to do so?

Americans are tired of phoniness. We’re tired of false promises. We’re tired of tax deals that inject no long-term certainty in the economy, accomplish nothing in the way of spending reductions and reflect a profound lack of gravitas on your part. We’re tired of weak cuts disguised as something greater. We’re tired of lies.

And we’re not stupid. We’re attuned to business as usual, to closed-door meetings and to what appears to be a disturbing inability on your part to stick to your guns.

So, what’s it going to be? Are you going to stand firm, to let President Obama, Harry Reid and their allies know that the buck stops here? Are you going to lead a Republican Party that stands for strict fiscal discipline, constitutional integrity and a commitment to protecting all that makes America exceptional for future generations? Are you going to be the bold contrast to the left that you should be?

The choice is yours. We’ll be watching — ready to stand by you if you do what’s right and to hold you accountable if you don’t.

There’s no time for nonsense. This country deserves real leadership. And as we head into another election season, Americans aren’t about to settle for anything less.

AMEN!

Speaker Boehner has already decide to go for a nibble rather than a bite anyhow.

Maybe the Democrats can con him into another deal like last year’s Lame Duck Goose egg. He does seem to fold under pressure.

In a statement, Boehner said: “Despite good-faith efforts to find common ground, the White House will not pursue a bigger debt reduction agreement without tax hikes.”

So I’ll cave first. So grab your wallet and what’s left in it, here come Barack The Savior! 😦

White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer said Obama intended to continue to push for as big a deficit reduction number as possible and that tax revenue be part of the mix.

“The president believes that solving our fiscal problems is an economic imperative. But in order to do that, we cannot ask the middle-class and seniors to bear all the burden of higher costs and budget cuts,” Pfeiffer said. “We need a balanced approach that asks the very wealthiest and special interests to pay their fair share as well, and we believe the American people agree.”

The middle class and senior are ALREADY burdened by your oppressiveness Mr. President, or hadn’t you noticed? 🙂

After all, as White Adviser Plouffe said last week, unemployment is not a factor.

With unemployment now at 9.2% and job growth at a standstill, is there anyone not blinded by ideology or rank partisanship who can’t see that Obama’s spend-and-regulate economic plan has been an utter failure?

On the Left or the Leftist Media: NO. There is not. Simple.

When Obama was running for office, he likened himself to Ronald Reagan. Not because he liked Reagan’s policies — he despised them — but because he saw Reagan as a transformative figure worthy of emulation.

“I think Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not,” he said during the campaign. He’s since talked endlessly about the need to “remake” the economy, and “do big things.”

Well, Obama’s been transformative all right. While Reagan rescued a country mired in hopelessness, stagflation and fear, Obama has managed, by reversing Rea-ganomics, to bring it all back again. Consider:

• The unemployment rate has never been under 8% since Obama took office, and it has dipped below 9% in only five of Obama’s 29 months in the White House. No president since the Great Depression can match that record of failure.

• At 40 weeks, the average length of unemployment is almost twice the previous post-World War II peak.

• Inflation is once again on the rise — climbing in each of the past six months.

• And by almost every measure available, including GDP growth, the Obama recovery is the worst since the Great Depression.

Now, thanks to Obama’s grand economic failures, hopelessness is again sweeping the land. An astounding four in 10 say the economy is in a “permanent decline,” according to a New York Times/CBS poll, and an equally eye-opening 48% told CNN that another Great Depression is likely to occur in the next year, the highest level ever in the CNN survey.

More than half — 54% — say their personal finances are getting worse, according to a Rasmussen survey.

Yet, rather than admit failure, Obama’s only response is to try to shift blame and convince us to lower our expectations. “The economic challenges that we face weren’t created overnight,” he said on Friday, “and they’re not going to be solved overnight.”

Translation: How can you expect anything more, when everything was so messed up when I got into town? Poppycock.

After the long, painful and equally deep recession in the early 1980s, the economy roared back to life, powered by Reagan’s mix of tax cuts and deregulation. By this point in the Reagan recovery, growth was so fast and furious it slashed unemployment by a third.

Obama also expects us to believe that “head winds” are to blame for the economy’s lousy performance. But the only head winds holding the economy back are his own “transformative” policies — massive new government spending and debt, ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, endless talk of tax hikes on the “rich” and corporations, and a job-killing regulatory beast unleashed against every productive corner of the economy.

Obamanomics has been weighed, measured and found wanting. Time now to get back on course.(IBD)

Stand up with a Back bone.

A Glorious New Dawn? Or a Mushroom Cloud?

Wanna she the hope of “bipartisanship” or “cooperation” fade just pay attention to the progression in the following new item from the Washington Times with particular attention to Still Senate Majority Harry Reid.

“Hard work and tough decisions will be required of the 112th Congress. No longer can we fall short. No longer can we kick the can down the road. The people voted to end business as usual, and today we begin carrying out their instructions,” said the Ohio Republican, who leads his party’s biggest House majority in decades by a margin of 242-to-193.

He also acknowledged the “great deal of scar tissue” he said has built up over partisan fights, presaging the head-butting he and his House colleagues will likely do over the next two years with the Senate, which also convened Wednesday as Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. swore in 35 new and returning members, leaving Democrats in control, but with a much weaker 53-47 majority.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who survived his own tough re-election fight in Nevada to return to lead Senate Democrats, called on senators to see one another as “teammates, not as opponents.” Democrats are trying to write rules changes to curb “abuses” of Senate traditions he said have allowed Republicans to block parts of the Democrats’ agenda.

Aka, the Filibuster rules. They worked fine when the Republicans were in control of the Senate, but they have been annoying the Democrats who have been forced to use unconventional, even unconstitutional maneuvers to pass their agenda.

And that’s just annoying. So let’s all agree to change the rules in our favor.

And if the Senate goes Republican in 2012 you know they’ll carp and bitch about how unfair the rules they want to pass now are to them.

That’s hope dying folks.

And today the evil Republicans in the House have scheduled a reading of the US Constitution on the floor of the House.

Evil Bastards! 🙂

The Democrats new strategy, repealing ObamaCare would balloon the deficit!! As if keeping it would save us all money, oh that’s right, that IS STILL their party line despite all the actual evidence and 222 waivers!

So Partisan mudfighting is alive and well.

The children have not grown up yet.

Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hands the gavel to new Speaker John Boehner. | Photo by John Shinkle

Nancy Pelosi smiled and applauded on the House floor Wednesday afternoon as the clerk read the tally of the vote that formally ended her speakership.

Inside her head I bet she had visions of bludgeoning John Boehner to death and taking all the other Republicans with her!

It was the same joyless perma-grin – really, a grimace with upturned corners of the mouth – that came to define Pelosi during her four years in charge of the House: an expression meant to connote her warmth and sincerity that too often conveyed the opposite. (Washington Post)

You’re a mean one, Mrs. Grinch! 🙂

You’re a mean one, Mrs. Grinch
You really are a heel,
You’re as cuddly as a cactus, you’re as charming as an eel, Mrs. Grinch,

You’re a bad banana with a greasy black peel!

You’re a monster, Mrs. Grinch,
Your heart’s an empty hole,
Your brain is full of spiders, you’ve got garlic in your soul, Mrs. Grinch,

I wouldn’t touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!

You’re a vile one, Mrs. Grinch,
You have termites in your smile,
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mrs. Grinch,

Given a choice between the two of you I’d take the … seasick crocodile!

You nauseate me, Mrs. Grinch,
With a nauseous super “naus”,
You’re a crooked dirty jockey and you drive a crooked hoss, Mrs.  Grinch,

You’re a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich, with arsenic sauce

You’re a foul one, Mrs. Grinch,
You’re a nasty wasty skunk,
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mrs. Grinch,

The three words that describe you are as follows, and I quote, “Stink, Stank, Stunk!”

You’re a rotter, Mrs. Grinch,
You’re the king of sinful sots,
Your heart’s a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots, Mrs. Grinch,

Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish imaginable, mangled up in tangled up knots! (apologies to Dr. Seuss)

And now she goes back to being the sniping attack dog leading an even more liberal Democrat minority, though only 90% voted for her as Minority leader. I’m sure those 10% will be killed and eaten summarily. 🙂

So, not much hope.

The Rebels have scored a major victory, but the Second Death Star and The Empire are still out there.

And we have to hope also that our merry band of Rebel fighters have the guts for the fight.

“What they want is a government that is honest, accountable and responsive to their needs. A government that respects individual liberty, honors our heritage, and bows before the public it serves.”– Speaker Boehner
If Only…If only…

DEATH PANELS, WHAT DEATH PANELS  — Round TWO

President Barack Obama (D), along with his staff and media enablers, laughed when Sarah Palin condemned the death panels embedded in Obamacare. “She’s so silly, there is no such thing as death panels,” they piously giggled. Well they’re not laughing anymore; the officially non existent death panels, which really did exist–thank you Sarah Palin–have been uhm…terminated just a few days after Obamacare, with the aforementioned death panels, kicked in, reports Robert Pear of the New York Times.

The Obama administration, reversing course, will revise a Medicare regulation to delete references to end-of-life planning as part of the annual physical examinations covered under the new health care law, administration officials said Tuesday.

The move is an abrupt shift, coming just days after the new policy took effect on Jan. 1.

Many doctors and providers of hospice care had praised the regulation, which listed “advance care planning” as one of the services that could be offered in the “annual wellness visit” for Medicare beneficiaries.

And just why did the Obama administration so quickly drop the death panels, er end of life planning service as part of a wellness visit?

While administration officials cited procedural reasons for changing the rule, it was clear that political concerns were also a factor.

Once again, thank you Sarah Palin.

The renewed debate over advance care planning threatened to become a distraction to administration officials who were gearing up to defend the health law against attack by the new Republican majority in the House.

Distractions, distractions.

To paraphrase Shakespeare, “a death panel by any other name, say end of life planning, is still a death panel.”

To paraphrase Gertrude Stein, “a death panel is a death panel is a death panel.”

To quote Sarah Palin, “death panel.”

Be alert: Obamacare might resurrect death panels with still yet another euphemism. (American Thinker)

I hear also that instead of Death Panels the FDA will simply decide to not approve a drug that would extend life instead of treat or cure a disease. So they just won’t allow you to have the drug, thus saving them from the whole issue to begin with. If you can’t have it, then they don’t have to counsel you, you’ll just die on your own without the knowledge of it to begin with.

Now that’s your liberal compassion for you… Hail Orwell! Hail King Obama I!!

Or else…

Queen Pelosi and Her Empire Strikes Back

Political Cartoon by Gary Varvel

Queen of Her own Empire, Nancy Pelosi (does she realize she was repudiated on Nov 2?- in short, NO!): “We will continue discussions with the President and our Democratic and Republican colleagues in the days ahead to improve the proposal before it comes to the House floor for a vote,” Pelosi said.

“Democratic priorities remain clear: to provide a tax cut for working families, to create jobs and economic growth, to assist millions of our fellow Americans who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, and to do this in a fiscally sound way.”

Aka, Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death! Victory or Your Death!

Screw you!

One unidentified lawmaker went so far as to mutter “f— the president” in a Democratic Caucus meeting. The anger aimed at the bill was widespread. As Democrats moved to block the bill from coming up on the floor, chants of “Just say no!” could be heard by reporters outside the room. (The Hill)

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

The Democrats are so delusional they don’t even understand that they lost the last election. BIG. 63 seats in the House lost, the biggest Republican victory in nearly 90 years!

Forty-seven percent (47%) of those in President Obama’s party say the country is on the wrong track.  Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans and 75% of voters not affiliated with either political party agree. (Rasmussen)

And, frankly, THEY DON’T CARE!

And you can bet Minority Leader Pelosi will not change in January.

“If everybody took out what they didn’t like, we would have nothing,” Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said. “And we know the consequences of doing nothing.”

The Democrats don’t care!

Simple as that.

They don’t give a crap on a stick if your taxes go up Jan 1, 2011. If they can’t have their Class Warfare then they’ll take their marbles and go home!

F*uck you!

“We have given our leadership license to force the Senate and the White House back to the table to get a better deal for the American people,” Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.)said.

Asked if leadership had agreed to do that, DeFazio replied, “Well, they’re not going to get a bill if they don’t.”

Louisiana Kickback recipient Sen, Mary Landreiu had the gal to call the deal “moral recklessness”. This would be funny from the lady who got a $300 million dollar bribe to vote for ObamaCare, if it wasn’t so incredible in it’s arrogance.

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

Class Warfare or Die! Victory or Death!

The President for his part did lovingly call the Republicans, “Hostage Takers”.

So Tax Increases (because they aren’t “cuts”) are being held hostage by Class Warriors and the ones who aren’t fighting a class war are the terrorists!

Now, that’s politics 2010.

“A clear majority of the U.S. House of Representatives supports this plan,” Rep. Dan Boren (D-Okla.) said in a statement. “We are allowing the liberal wing of the Democratic Caucus to hold these critically needed tax cuts hostage.”

But the ultimate power in this situation is Queen of Her Own Universe, the still Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

If she wants to be a one liberal roadblock to your taxes going up, damn she’s going to squat in the middle of the road, hold her breath until you turn blue to save her Class Warfare!

The question is will they blink after all this bluster and cry-baby tactics?

Personally, I’m too much of cynic to think so. Ultimately, I have no faith.

Liberals don’t compromise, they dictate.

They want YOU to compromise with them. There is no quid pro quo.

They are spoiled bratty little children who will cry and whine and throw a tantrum if you don’t do exactly as they want. They want what they want, when they want it. Nothing less.

They have got the maturity to deal with reality. So they don’t.

And at the top of this heap of crap is the Queen Dung Beetle, Nancy Pelosi, the Queen of all she surveys.

Political Cartoon by Mike Lester

It’s all Chicken Crap!

Speaker-Designate John Boehner yesterday when the Liberal Democrats pulled a petullant and childish partisan political stunt had it right.

“I’m trying to catch my breath so I don’t refer to this maneuver going on today as chicken crap, all right?” Boehner told reporters in the Capitol Thursday. “But this is nonsense. All right? The election was one month ago. We’re 23 months from the next election, and the political games have already started, trying to set up the next election. We had an honest conversation at the White House about the challenges that we face to get out of here and to take care of what the American people expect of us. And they roll this vote out today; it really is just what you think I was going to say anyway.”

Just days after a “White House Summit” on the Bush Era Tax issue (They are not “Cuts” because if they are not renewed your taxes go UP, if they are renewed NOTHING HAPPENS to your taxes. They DON”T GO DOWN. They are not “cuts!”) Nancy Pelosi personally orchestrates a F*CK YOU maneuver very reminiscent of what happened right after the Health Care Summit where the Democrats said that was fun, now we are going to do what we want, because we want, and F*ck you!
So in show of total hyper-partisanship and a pie in the face to their own President the petulant little children in the House passed in a warp speed maneuver that would make the Picard Maneuver look like a turtle on Valium as they thumbed their collective noses at everyone and passed their “middle class tax cut” regardless.
The fact that it’s not a “cut” is perfectly ignored by Liberals in Congress and Liberals in the media.
But the petulant children did it anyways. You can almost see Pelosi just sticking her tongue and waggling her fingers at everyone.
So they passed what they want. No negotiation. No Compromise. No amendments. No discussion.
Just rammed it through and f*ck you!
Gotta preserve that core addiction that Liberals have for Class Warfare.
And, it would definitely be a great boon to job seekers everywhere if there potential bosses taxes were raised right now. That will surely make everything much better!
And you know they are cutting 2012 campaign commercials right now, “Republicans voted to not to cut taxes on the middle class”, “Republicans wanted to give tax cuts to the rich!”
The same old mantra.
And if you think Democrats are intellectually capable of understanding how childish this all was…Think again.
We Dare you to vote against a “Middle Class Tax Cut”. Go ahead we double dog Dare you! We Triple dog dare you!
We have lots of friends in the liberal media who’ll bash you for the next 2 years 24/7  if you do!!
Intellectual maturity this isn’t.
It was a political stunt, by people who lost an election big because that’s all they have done for the last 2 years is one cramdown stunt after another.
Learn anything after the election, of course not.
They are far, far too narcissistic and ideologically hell bent for that.
They know it’s Dead on Arrival in the Senate, but they don’t care. It’s all show. It’s all just a game.
A petulant child’s game.
We the People deserve better.

Fascinating Tidbits

Interesting Video: http://dailycaller.com/2010/11/30/this-is-why-the-people-have-thrown-you-out/

Watch the lame dimwit sitting in for Pelosi who can’t make a decision on her own. Fascinating stuff, at least I thought so.

Add to that, this picked up from newly-minted Senator Bennett D-Colorado:

A hot mic left on during a Senate vote Tuesday morning on the Food Safety Act caught a senator complaining that process of setting the agenda during the lame-duck session is “rigged.”

“It’s all rigged. The whole conversation is rigged,” said Colorado Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet. “The fact that we don’t get to a discussion before the break about what we’re going to do in the lame duck. It’s just rigged.”

The remark was picked up live on C-SPAN 2, although microphones are usually turned down during voting times. An aide quickly realized the mistake, jumped up and had the sound cut off.

Bennet Chief of Staff Guy Cecil stood by the senator’s comments.

“It’s something he’s been talking about from day one,” Cecil told The Daily Caller in an interview outside the Senate chamber. “The whole process being rigged against having a real conversation about tax cuts, the estate tax and the defense authorization. We’re not having a lot of those conversations. It’s just a symptom of Washington being broken.”

Fascinating… 🙂

So Far Left he’s 2 Dimensional MSDNC’s Keith Olbermann:

“We have a political party demanding that we borrow money to pay for tax cuts on household income above a quarter million, while it is at the same time refusing to borrow a lot less money so that middle class Americans who can’t find work can keep their homes and just barely keep their heads above water….They don’t live in this world. They don’t live in this country. And I think we’d be better off if they didn’t live in this country.”
— MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, November 18 Countdown.

But the progressives like him CAN and Did spend 3 Trillion dollars we don’t have for their pet socialism in the last 2 years to no good effect and that was perfectly fine.

The Democrats simply can’t stop their addiction to class warfare.

And I find it hilarious when these Democrats who spent 3 Trillion dollars in the last 2 years are suddenly worried about spending only when it’s against their ideology and they are in total control of who gets it anymore. It’s ok for them to spend, it’s not ok for you to do it, especially if it doesn’t benefit them!

Fascinating…

Three of the “Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Strength,” a group of 90 plus millionaires who signed a letter to President Obama asking him to allow the tax cuts on people with an income of $1 million or more each year to expire, say that despite their call to raise taxes, they will not pay the government more than they are required to, nor will they cut the government a personal check. (aka Not in my back pocket- all sound and fury signifying nothing!).

“I pay the taxes that I am required to pay, just like everybody else,” said Ron Garret, a software engineer turned angel investor who earned his fortune at Google. “I follow the law, I play by the rules, even when I don’t like the rules, even when I think the rules are wrong.”

In a democracy, he said, “the right way to address it…is to try to get the rules changed, not to go and play by your own rules.”

“I do everything I can to pay the least taxes that I’m required to pay,” said John Katzman, CEO of 2tor and founder of Princeton Review. “I’m not proposing that anybody decides to send a check to the government, and I’m not going to do that. The tax code was written to be followed, not to say it’s wrong.”

“I don’t bend over backwards to find every tax loophole,” he added, “but if I’m due a deduction, I take it.”

Does he see any hypocrisy in his calling for higher taxes, then?

“Not a bit.”

Fascinating…

On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate rejected a ban on earmarks, the addenda to bills that allow congressmen and senators to steer federal cash toward pet projects in their states and districts. The vote wasn’t even close. The ban was defeated 56-39.

The drug addicts didn’t vote to cut off their drugs. What a surprise. I’m shocked!

Also this week, the Senate approved $1.25 billion in funding for black farmers who were supposedly discriminated against by the Department of Agriculture. Only one problem: The vast majority of claimants to that cash are fraudulent. There are 18,000 black farmers in the United States. Over 94,000 supposed black farmers have filed claims against the Department of Agriculture. Those farmers who were discriminated against were already recipients of a $1 billion settlement distributed in years past. Why the sudden need to spend an additional $1.25 billion for non-farming farmers? Just another racial payoff by liberals to a key constituency. (Daily Caller)

Gotta pay off those apparatchiks.

It’s time for America’s youth to buckle up and take a rough ride on Reality Highway. For the past two years, President Obama has promised our children the moon, stars, rainbows, unicorns and universal health care for all. But the White House Santa’s cradle-to-grave entitlement mandates are a spectacularly predictable bust.

Don’t take it from me. Take it from Obamacare’s own biggest cheerleaders.

Late last month, the Service Employees International Union informed dues-paying members of its behemoth 1199 affiliate in New York that it was dropping its health care coverage for children. That’s right. A radical leftist union, not an evil Republican corporation, is abandoning the young ‘uns to cut costs.

More than 30,000 low-wage families will be affected, according to The Wall Street Journal. Who’s to blame? SEIU 1199 benefits manager Mitra Behroozi singled out oppressive new state and federal regulations, including the much-ballyhooed Obamacare rule forcing insurers to cover dependents well into their 20s:

“…(N)ew federal health-care reform legislation requires plans with dependent coverage to expand that coverage up to age 26,” Behroozi explained in an Oct. 22 letter to members. “Our limited resources are already stretched as far as possible, and meeting this new requirement would be financially impossible.”

In a related development, over the past several months several insurers across California, Colorado, Ohio and Missouri have dropped child-only plans because of Obamacare-induced premium increases. Untold tens of thousands of families who purchase their plans in the private individual health market will be affected.

Let us pause for a moment to ruminate on this wholly man-caused disaster. To sell Obamacare and manufacture support, desperate Democrats pandered to the college set and their parents. Former SEIU chief Andy Stern specifically touted the unfunded kiddie insurance mandate as a strategic selling point, telling the Washington Post early this year that the lobbying and public relations campaign would be “helped by which parts of the bill go into effect immediately. It’s hard to talk about things that’ll happen in 2019. But if you can say to people that if your kid is 26 years old, you can keep him on your insurance plan? … They get that.”

Some 20 states had already passed legislation requiring insurers to cover adult children before the federal rule was imposed. Citing results in New Jersey, Wisconsin and elsewhere, many critics pointed to how such top-down benefits mandates were driving up the cost of insurance and limiting access instead of expanding it. In response, top SEIU thug Dennis Rivera accused Obamacare opponents of “terrorist tactics” in a conference call earlier this spring with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

Now, confronted with the thorny allocation of scarce resources, profligate money managers at the SEIU are dropping thousands of kids’ health coverage because they, too, can’t afford to foot the bill imposed by the president whom their union bosses spent more than $60 million to elect. And SEIU’s Rivera is nowhere to be found.

The SEIU also pumped tens of millions of dollars in union funds directly into the campaign for Obamacare. Workers regurgitated White House talking points hyping increased access, lower premiums and peace of mind for the working class. SEIU 1199 — which is now cutting off health care coverage to children whose parents work in the health care industry of all industries — was at the forefront of those D.C.-directed “reform” rallies. The same militant leaders of SEIU 1199 sent hordes of their workers on buses to an anti-tea party rally convened by Comedy Central clowns in October, while their benefits and pension funds eroded.

Yes, the union road to hell is paved with workers’ own hard-earned dues money. All hail progressivism!

How far we’ve come from the halcyon moment when President Obama rallied young college students at George Mason University in Virginia in March. To wild applause, he pledged: “If you buy a new plan, there won’t be lifetime or restrictive annual limits on the amount of care you receive from your insurance companies. (Applause.) And by the way, to all the young people here today, starting this year if you don’t have insurance, all new plans will allow you to stay on your parents’ plan until you are 26 years old. (Applause.)”

Cue bitter laughter here. As I reported two weeks ago, more than 111 unions (including two SEIU affiliates), companies and insurers have now secured federal waivers to escape the first provision Obama mentioned to the George Mason University students. And more financially strapped union affiliates like SEIU 1199 will undoubtedly be canceling children’s coverage to escape the costs tied to Obama’s second vow.

For the kiddie human shields who helped the Democrats dig their own ditch, reality bites. Live and learn.

Well, you can’t expect Liberals to follow their own agenda. It’s not like they walk their own walk. They just want you to walk their walk because they get a thrill out of being puppetmasters, but don’t expect them to do it themselves!

Fascinating… 🙂
