Irony Alert

Cal State LA offers segregated housing for black students

‘A safe space for Black CSLA students …’

California State University Los Angeles recently rolled out segregated housing for black students.

The arrangement comes roughly nine months after the university’s Black Student Union issued a set of demands in response to what its members contend are frequent “racist attacks” on campus, such as “racially insensitive remarks” and “microaggressions” by professors and students. One demand was for a “CSLA housing space delegated for Black students.”

“[It] would provide a cheaper alternative housing solution for Black students. This space would also serve as a safe space for Black CSLA students to congregate, connect, and learn from each other,” the demand letter stated.

The newly debuted Halisi Scholars Black Living-Learning Community “focuses on academic excellence and learning experiences that are inclusive and non-discriminatory,” Cal State LA spokesman Robert Lopez told The College Fix via email.

The public university has 192 furnished apartments in a residential complex on campus, and the Halisi community will be located there, Lopez said, adding it joins other themed living-learning communities already housed there.

Lopez declined to answer any additional questions or provide more details on the new community, such as how many rooms it encompasses, and whether it’s a whole floor or just a few rooms.

Cal State LA joins UConn, UC Davis and Berkeley in offering segregated housing dedicated to black students. While these housing options are technically open to all students, they’re billed and used as arrangements in which black students can live with one another.

Meanwhile, at Cal State LA, campus leaders took down much of the online information on the new housing that it posted in late July. And university housing officials and other campus officials rebuffed requests by The College Fix for more details.

If campus leaders are proud of the new housing, they appear disinclined to talk about it.

CSULA’s Housing Services page offers one paragraph on the new black living-learning community, calling it an effort to “enhance the residential experience for students who are a part of or interested in issues of concern to the black community living on campus by offering the opportunity to connect with faculty and peers, and engage in programs that focus on academic success, cultural awareness, and civic engagement.”

In addition to the Black Student Union’s housing demand, the group also demanded a $30 million dollar scholarship endowment to aid black students, three new black faculty counselors, a new anti-discrimination policy and cultural competency course for faculty and students, and finally, a meeting with the president for them to discuss the “fulfillment and implementation of each demand.”

After the Halisi housing community was announced, the Black Student Union celebrated on its Instagram page, calling it a “long overdue, but well deserved” achievement, Young America’s Foundation reports.

Members of Cal State LA’s Black Student Union declined requests for comment from The College Fix.

Young America’s Foundation quoted from the Halisi housing application prior to university officials taking it offline. Rules students who seek to live in Halisi must agree to include “respect the differences of others that live in my community and look for positive thing to learn from them,” “be an advocate for change if the tools and resources available are deemed inadequate,” and “accept that I am still learning and need to be open to new ideas and experiences.”

Hxstory

Politically Correct Speech and Thoughtless “feelings” Alert. Your brain has been warned.

Student activists at Western Washington University (WWU) have started a petition demanding the creation of a new college dedicated to social justice, resources to learn alternate histories, compensation for harassed students, a student committee to police offensive speech, and culturally segregated living arrangements.

The petition, drafted by the Student Assembly for Power and Liberation (SAPL), has been signed by 494 students as of press time.

“We cannot count on the University to follow through for hxstorically oppressed students.”

“[W]e cannot count on the University to follow through for hxstorically [sic] oppressed students. These demands come out of a long hxstory of oppression played out at all levels of schooling,” the demand states.

SAPL says that the reason for these demands is to combat the oppression that is, “upheld through this institution, as it was created to uphold white supremacy at its core.”

Their first demand is for the creation of the College of Power and Liberation that will require hiring ten tenure track professors which students will have active participation in the interview process.

“[S]tudents must have power in deciding what subject areas and [what] professors can teach at the college,” the petition says.

And their parents gave them the power to decide what to spend money on in the family and whether they need to do “x” right? 😦

The second demand calls for students and faculty who are committed to confronting racism, misogyny, trans- and homophobia on the campus, to be compensated for doing decolonizing work.

Meaning destroy White people and get paid for it. 🙂

Such work includes, but is not limited to, “Providing space and resources to learn alternate histories  (Because the truth is Politically Incorrect), supporting student’s non academic work (aka get paid to protest), emotional and intellectual labor that is not about publishing or service to the institution (kiss my ass and let me get paid for goofing off), providing often unrecognized trainings (aka Politically Correct workshops on Transgenders, White Privilege, etc), workshops, and/or interventions on behalf of students.” (But only the Politically Correct one, everyone else should be destroyed or banned).

The third demand is for a “15 persxn [sic] paid student committee,” that will, “monitor, document, and archive all racist, anti-black, transphobic, cissexist, misogynistic, ablest [sic], homophobic, islamophobic, and otherwise oppressive behavior on campus.”

The Thought Police. These little cherubs of PC Joy haven’t the slightest f*cking clue what The Constitution says , how it says it, or why. And They don’t care, either.

They are Homo Superior Liberalis, they are just so much better than us mere mortals.

Bow down to their superiority, or else!

This paid student committee will implement a “three strike” disciplinary system that all students and faculty will be subject to. Tenured faculty could be fired for conducting an unsafe classroom environment due to “oppressive behaviors.”

Aka The Thought Police. You have the Freedom to do as we say, and nothing else because this is Amerika!  Land of “Oppressed”and Home of The Politically Correct. 🙂

SAPL further demands the creation of a multicultural residence building to “celebrate student’s different identities and to give us a chance to live together in order to build a community and connections.”

Segregation. 🙂

The final demand says that any WWU student who has been, “targeted by, harassed by, or has experienced excruciating acts of violence that was racialized, sexualized, gendered, based on ability, employment status, citizenship and/or mental health from the University,” must be compensated by the university through tuition reimbursements.

WE WANT MONEY!!!! YOUR MONEY!!! MAKE US “RICH”. 🙂

…to create work study positions for at least 20 percent of the new college’s students; and a $50,000 “opening event” that will bring together “eminent scholars from the interdisciplinary fields that have grown out of social-justice movements, marking the beginning of the momentous history of the College of Power and Liberation and the reemergence of a serious commitment to Ethnic and Gender studies on Western’s campus.”

Despite their call for tens of millions of dollars in new outlays in the near future, no information is presented about the effect that these changes would have on tuition;

Well, I’m sure in true liberal tradition the millions in new expenditures would have to be paid by “Rich” people and the Non-PC class. Certainly, not them. As a matter of fact, tuition is too oppressive now so it should be less, to encourage more disadvantaged students to attend. 🙂

SPEND MORE, Costs less. Give us YOUR MONEY.Classic Liberalism in action, right?

nor about how many present or future students––including students from historically marginalized groups––would enroll in such a college or major in its subject areas. Would the new college best meet the needs of disadvantaged students? Or would it most benefit students, including white students from wealthy backgrounds, who want to pursue collegiate majors inflected with social-justice ideology?

But it “feels” good. It “feels” right.

The Committee for Social Transformation would also control a new dorm, reviewing applications and deciding who could live there. The likely result would be the ideological segregation of students, undermining the intellectual diversity that is a core benefit of residential life.

An inconvenient truth, I’m sure.

The petition goes on to call for $45,000 annually to compensate “students and faculty doing de-colonial work on campus” and the creation of a 15-member student panel, dubbed the Office for Social Transformation, “to monitor, document, and archive all racist, anti-black, transphobic, cissexist, misogynistic, ablest, homophobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic, anti-semitic, and otherwise oppressive behavior.” This panel would have the power to investigate and discipline students and faculty members and to fire even tenured faculty members.

“We demand the recognition of an unsafe classroom environment due to the oppressive behaviors articulated above as a severe offense,” the petition states, “and a justifiable cause for an investigation of tenured faculty that could lead to discharge.” It is difficult to imagine Western Washington University attracting high-quality hires, or maintaining a classroom environment conducive to free inquiry or vital discussions about race, so long as a student panel could revoke tenure for thought-crimes. (The Atlantic)

“When Western begins to make phony excuses and resist needed changes (aka Politically Incorrect ones), we will be forced to look at Western as an enemy to Black [sic] and non-white people and, [sic] act accordingly. In short, there will be political consequences for political mistakes,” SAPL says.

Threats, too. Wow, we are on a “moral” high horse. Overdosing on PC.

Excuses like the University President’s response: The proposal would fundamentally contradict our policies, practices, mutually bargained contracts, and federal law and policy on such matters as faculty evaluation and discipline, student conduct and discipline, the investigation of alleged racist behaviors, and the planning of facilities, spaces and residence halls. I further find, in the proposal, language possibly threatening our core commitments to campus-wide inclusivity and, again possibly, to academic freedom. The proposal is also problematic, for it would have large budgetary impacts but is missing a critical component of any complete proposal; namely, a credible approach for funding.

Liberal Economics, do it because it makes me “feel” good and superior to you apes. You gives a crap if it’s impractical or just fantasy.

Their existing demands show how well-intentioned students in an ideological bubble can rally around measures that would destroy their institution. This is especially so when their agenda is thick with ideology and bereft of fact-finding or empiricism.

But it has “feeling”and that’s more important than actual facts.

As evidence by the response (which is very Liberal):

“We believe it’s the responsibility of admin and faculty to find the necessary funding. If they can find the funding for a brand-new athletics gym to boost their recruitment rates, they can find the funding to support their most vulnerable students, (aka you got funding for your pet project why not ours?) ” the group said in response to the president’s note that their proposals lacked a plan for funding.

The petition demanded action by March 1, but as of press time, no action has apparently been taken.

SAPL’s Facebook page posted an email that university president Bruce Shepard wrote to the Associated Students of WWU in which he says that, “[W]hile I bring the matter to your attention, I am not requesting any particular actions.”

Piss off, you little PC brats!

“Using highly politicized rhetoric, he attempted to claim that hxstorically [sic] marginalized students are getting their needs met by his ‘Task Forces’, the very Task Forces we have clearly named as not only ineffective, but also enforcers of the same forms of oppression manifested in the University,” SAPL says about Shepard’s email.

Despite having over 400 signatures, the top comment on their petition page calls the list of demands, “Absolute rubbish.”

“It ashamed me as an alumni (class of 2012) to see my alma mater descend into such a liberal authoritarian wasteland. Do yourselves a favor and go travel, you may just see how lucky you are to be at university in the United States,” the comment says.

They have no clue, nor do they want one. They are Homo Superior Liberalis! They are Gods among Mortal Men (or is that Mxn)? 🙂

Campus Reform has reached out to representatives of WWU as well as SAPL but have not received a reply by press time.

They are too busy mopping in a corner and stewing about how unfair everything is and how they’d destroy you all if only they had the power…

“However, we also recognize that the current political, legal and social conditions that we are in use federal, state and campus legislation to enforce systems of oppression that disproportionately set students of marginalized identities up for failure and exploitation … To see the fruition of the demands that we have brought forward, it is necessary for us to push away from the existing frameworks.

Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid!!

DoubleThink Ahead

Just when you though the Orwellian BS on the Left couldn’t get more insane…Let’s recap first.

“Safe Spaces” for “Blacks only” is all the rage on College Campuses. Where whites are not allowed and Segregation is NOT “racist”, it’s required.

Jamie Boiue of the Leftist rag The Slate: I tend to think that you have this atmosphere of racial insensitivity, a feeling that the university isn’t really there for you.

Females also, as a protected class,  like Katherine Hall of Brown University:

“I was feeling bombarded by a lot of viewpoints that really go against my dearly and closely held beliefs,” Ms. Hall said.

Safe spaces are an expression of the conviction, increasingly prevalent among college students, that their schools should keep them from being “bombarded” by discomfiting or distressing viewpoints. Think of the safe space as the live-action version of the better-known trigger warning, a notice put on top of a syllabus or an assigned reading to alert students to the presence of potentially disturbing material.

But you try it the Politically INcorrect way (in other words REALITY), well, your ass is dog meat. Leave it to the Professional Crybabies… 🙂

EAGNews.org: A lesson on segregation landed an Indiana high school teacher on administrative leave after students posted “whites only” and “blacks only” signs near school bathrooms and drinking as part of social studies class.

Officials did not release the name of the Concord High School social studies teacher who Concord Community Schools Superintendent John Trout said was designed to “demonstrate the feel of government-sanctioned segregation that previously existed in portions of our country.”

whitesonly“Concord Community Schools appreciates its educators attempting to be innovative in their teaching approach,” the statement read, according to The Elkhart Truth. “However, methods and tactics that can be viewed as harassing or discriminatory to students and teachers are not appropriate and are prohibited in our schools.”

Trout said the assignment, given to students in a first hour class last Friday, was not approved by the school or school district. School officials removed the signs as soon as they realized, he said, and talked to students about the incident afterwards.

“Concord High School’s stated mission is to both academically challenge and equip our students. To that end, many of our high school educators include in their instruction current and historical events that may contain controversial subjects and topics,” according to the statement. “Unfortunately, like all of us, sometimes a teacher makes a mistake when attempting to educate young teenagers. On December 4, 2015, one such mistake was made.”

The teacher remains on paid administrative leave as the district continues its investigation.

Parent Martise Evans, a black woman, is really mad about the signs.

“Anybody can get any kind of wrong idea about it,” Evans told ABC 57. “Don’t do that. Especially don’t demonstrate that to other children to make it seem like that’s ok.”

Yeah, leave for College Students and their “Safe Zones”. 🙂

Evans alleges he decided to pull her daughter London out of the district because of racially charged incidents school officials did nothing about.

Once you designate some spaces as safe, you imply that the rest are unsafe. It follows that they should be made safer.

“They were bullying because of her hair, because she’s African American, because she wasn’t up to their par of what they wanted her to be, or their definition of what a human being or person should be,” Evans said, “and they were teasing her to the (point) that she tried to commit suicide.”

Hey, I’m white. That happened to me in the late 1970s do you think she would care? 🙂

Evans told ABC 57 she’s glad to see the teacher was suspended, and thinks the district should “reflect” on the incident.

“People’s feelings were hurt in the process,” she said. “People probably felt like the school doesn’t even want them there now.”

But a safe-space mentality has begun infiltrating classrooms, he said, making both professors and students loath to say anything that might hurt someone’s feelings. “I don’t see how you can have a therapeutic space that’s also an intellectual space,” he said.

But in College it “racist” not to.

Got love the Doublethink. 🙂

Several parents who commented on Facebook clearly disagreed with Evans.

“I support everything that this teacher did, except not getting approval from those above,” Dakarai Breveard wrote. “I think the intended lesson was great.”

They will see it in College, only it will be Politically Correct then. 🙂

“I could see this being a valuable teaching lesson if taught in a constructive manner,” Donny Wolf added. “It sounded to me like that was going to be the case. Unfortunately for this teacher, teachers are not allowed to actually teach anymore. They are told how to teach and what to teach from a manual.”

At Northwestern recently, An organizer of the demonstration said, “we need to be setting aside spaces to talk” about “victim-blaming.”

At Oxford University’s Christ Church college in November, the college censors (a “censor” being more or less the Oxford equivalent of an undergraduate dean) canceled a debate on abortion after campus feminists threatened to disrupt it because both would-be debaters were men. “I’m relieved the censors have made this decision,” said the treasurer of Christ Church’s student union, who had pressed for the cancellation. “It clearly makes the most sense for the safety — both physical and mental — of the students who live and work in Christ Church.”

A year and a half ago, a Hampshire College student group disinvited an Afrofunk band that had been attacked on social media for having too many white musicians; the vitriolic discussion had made students feel “unsafe.”

Last fall, the president of Smith College, Kathleen McCartney, apologized for causing students and faculty to be “hurt” when she failed to object to a racial epithet uttered by a fellow panel member at an alumnae event in New York. The offender was the free-speech advocate Wendy Kaminer, who had been arguing against the use of the euphemism “the n-word” when teaching American history or “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” In the uproar that followed, the Student Government Association wrote a letter declaring that “if Smith is unsafe for one student, it is unsafe for all students.”

“It’s amazing to me that they can’t distinguish between racist speech and speech about racist speech, between racism and discussions of racism,” Ms. Kaminer said in an email.

The confusion is telling, though. It shows that while keeping college-level discussions “safe” may feel good to the hypersensitive, it’s bad for them and for everyone else. People ought to go to college to sharpen their wits and broaden their field of vision. Shield them from unfamiliar ideas, and they’ll never learn the discipline of seeing the world as other people see it. They’ll be unprepared for the social and intellectual headwinds that will hit them as soon as they step off the campuses whose climates they have so carefully controlled. What will they do when they hear opinions they’ve learned to shrink from? If they want to change the world, how will they learn to persuade people to join them? (NYT)

They’ll crush them with Political Correctness and pass laws against them saying anything they don’t like, that’s how. 🙂

The power of Politics, not the power of persuasion.

They are more sensitive. More in touch with their inner enlightenment than you so it’s only right that they must rule over you Unenlightened barbarians, especially insensitive racist, bigoted, white people.

They must be crushed. For their own good.

So remember kiddies, Leave the Political Correctness to the Professional because otherwise you’re a “racist” and a “bigot”!!

And if you’re White, well, there’s no hope for you anyways. You’re destined for Liberal Hell no matter what.

Happy Happy Joy Joy.

60 Years of Rosa Parks

On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks refused to obey bus driver James F. Blake’s order to give up her seat in the colored section to a white passenger, after the white section was filled.
Now we have “safe zones” for blacks only. For example: In an ironic development, to say the least, protesters at the University of Missouri (MU) segregated themselves by race Wednesday night, having white students leave a gathering in order to create a “black-only healing space.”

John Wheeler's photo.

Isn’t Liberal “diversity” and “tolerance” a wonderful thing for racial progress. 🙂

The CryBaby Generation at it’s finest, reversing history but it’s a ‘good thing’.

The bad old segregation kept “colored people” in specific spaces. The good new segregation reserves spaces for “people of color”.

DIVERSITY IS SEGREGATION!

INCLUSION IS EXCLUSION!

Orwell would be proud of you.

And if you violate their segregation you’re an insensitive racist. 🙂

Additionally, a “Hurting and Healing” event, described as “a *for POC, by POC* art show,” is scheduled to take place at Pomona College on December 5. “This show’s intent is to create a space that is pro-POC, pro-black, and anti-white supremacist,” states the event’s website. “While you may want to invite a white friend or ally, to make this a safe and comfortable space for other POC, we ask that you do not.”

Now that we’ve brought back racial segregation as a progressive value, maybe we can make a new progressive Klan that will only harass white people? Then again it already exists. They call it Black Lives Matter. (Front Page)

Dear Dr Martin Luther Kings: I’m sorry that your movement became an utter failure, spit on your grave, and that you died for nothing.

All in the name of “tolerance” and “diversity”. 🙂

Orwell couldn’t have done any better.

Portland, OR:“Black Joy: Self Care Saturday for Black Girls and Women” will take place on November 28 at The Center for Intercultural Organizing, though there will only be one culture welcomed.

Oldham promises, “the day will be a safe space centered around Blackness, community love and radical healing.”

“It’s a space to self care and uplift black folks.

Up Lift them by Segregation. 🙂

“It’s important to reclaim that Black folks do have a space here and we can create our own. I think it is also important to just have spaces that are for ourselves, without any allies,” Oldham said.

Yes, nothing beats racism like segregation. There was a time in this country when blacks not only had their own “spaces”, but also their own schools, bathrooms, water fountains, etc…and for some reason they weren’t real happy about that. In fact there was this whole thing call the Civil Rights Movement that fought against segregation. Oldham should look it up on Wikipedia. (Downtrend)

I’ve been amused recently by strident calls from black students at UCLA who demand a blacks-only dormitory.

SEPARATE BUT EQUAL!!!

Gee, where have I heard that before? 🙂

Brown Vs. The Board of Education 1954 perhaps… 🙂

history2

And this time THEY WANT IT that way…. 🙂

Yet the irony of self-segregation isn’t lost on in that era of forced integration and hiring quotas based ONLY on race. The hilarity of “safe zones” is so Orwellian its very frightening.

Live and let live is not politically correct. Neither is do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Violate their “safe space” or “offend” then with disagreeing and your white, you’re automatically a callous, insensitive, evil, racist and bigot.

End of story.

As you’re well aware, social engineering is happening on a grand scale now. We see it from our dear POTUS, we see it in the courts, and we see it very clearly on college campuses. Since the new age of Sharpton and Jackson, blacks are learning and playing this game very well.

But when you have black students making demands on who and what color people are on a college campus we’ve gone to far. And even worse, now these brats want people punished for the simple act of not liking them.

In fact, there’s now a one-stop shop for Black Lives Matter activists and other campus whiners called TheDemands.org which posts ALL official demands from these groups. Take a look at it. You will not believe the crap they’re demanding.

As Steven Hayward writing for Powerline Blog reports, Nice of the protestors to gather all of their absurdity in one handy place.

Like this one from Tufts:

1. We demand that Black-identifying students make up 13 percent of Tufts undergraduate population.

“Black-identifying students?” Good to know Rachel Dolezal has a safe space waiting for her somewhere.

From Clemson University:

Additionally, we want a public commitment from the Clemson University Administration to prosecute criminally predatory behaviors anddefamatory speech committed by members of the Clemson University community (including, but not limited to, those facilitated by usage of social media).

So now Clemson is supposed to police Facebook and Twitter posts?

I’m surprised this demand from Middle Tennessee State University hasn’t received more media attention:

1. Change Forrest Hall, a group of students, faculty, and community members has one demand: the immediate removal of Nathan Bedford Forrest’s name from Middle Tennessee State University’s ROTC building.

How long before Washington and Lee University has to drop Lee’s name? And then Washington’s? Lewis and Clark? Can’t do that: imperialist exploiters. William and Mary? Nope: named for patriarchal privilege. Heck, why not drop all names from every college and university, and just go with “University?”

Students today have been raised to care about and act only on feelings. Not logic and reason. Talk to any college kid and you’ll see. They want fairness — even if it means being unfair to someone else. They don’t get the relationship here. They want free college even though it means it would cause damage to most of the country. They want free health care even though it’s not even rational or possible. Why do they want all of these things and more? Because they just feel it’s right. Yes it is…in cloud cuckoo land. (Eric Hall via Allen West)

I feel sick. But I’m white (and male! boo hiss!) so I’m not allowed to feel anything but my seething bigotry and racism because that’s all that defines me in the Politically Correct age of The Crybaby Generation. 🙂

You’ve been Data Mined

A key part of President Obama’s legacy will be the fed’s unprecedented collection of sensitive data on Americans by race. The government is prying into our most personal information at the most local levels, all for the purpose of “racial and economic justice.”

Unbeknown to most Americans, Obama’s racial bean counters are furiously mining data on their health, home loans, credit cards, places of work, neighborhoods, even how their kids are disciplined in school — all to document “inequalities” between minorities and whites.

This Orwellian-style stockpile of statistics includes a vast and permanent network of discrimination databases, which Obama already is using to make “disparate impact” cases against: banks that don’t make enough prime loans to minorities; schools that suspend too many blacks; cities that don’t offer enough Section 8 and other low-income housing for minorities; and employers who turn down African-Americans for jobs due to criminal backgrounds.

Big Brother Barack wants the databases operational before he leaves office, and much of the data in them will be posted online.

So civil-rights attorneys and urban activist groups will be able to exploit them to show patterns of “racial disparities” and “segregation,” even if no other evidence of discrimination exists.

“There are no doubt complexities that come with White Americans working for racial justice. White privilege can lead to a chronic case of undiagnosed entitlement, creating poor listeners, impatient speakers who talk over others, and people unaccustomed to taking orders. Nevertheless, the movement for racial justice needs more White Americans to get involved. And it’s our responsibility to help each other get involved–and get involved productively,” Jon Greenberg  (High School Teacher) wrote, linking to a blog post that claims quoting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to black women is a violent and “cisheteropatriarchy” act.

Apparently that $5 word means: Cis- Hetero Patriarchy is class based oppression of gender and sex and racism is the class based  oppression of nationality and race and apparently they use “rape” analogies a lot. So quoting Dr. King to a black person is ‘mind rape’, apparently.  😦

Greenberg was the recipient of the Courage in the Pursuit of Social Justice Award from the the University of Washington chapter of the American Association of University Professors.

The fabric of our society, and consequentially our organizing spaces, are weaved together by the ongoing legacies of colonization, genocide, slavery, white supremacy, and cis-hetero-patriarchy. (Praxis)

So, Yea

I’m Male.

I’m White.

But I’m not a Christian.

But I dislike the Gay Leftist Control Freak Mafia.

I am a Fan of “The Dukes of Hazzard”

I value The Constitution.

So please, data mine this…

The granddaddy of them all is the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing database, which the Department of Housing and Urban Development rolled out earlier this month to racially balance the nation, ZIP code by ZIP code. It will map every US neighborhood by four racial groups — white, Asian, black or African-American, and Hispanic/Latino — and publish “geospatial data” pinpointing racial imbalances.

The agency proposes using nonwhite populations of 50% or higher as the threshold for classifying segregated areas.

Federally funded cities deemed overly segregated will be pressured to change their zoning laws to allow construction of more subsidized housing in affluent areas in the suburbs, and relocate inner-city minorities to those predominantly white areas. HUD’s maps, which use dots to show the racial distribution or density in residential areas, will be used to select affordable-housing sites.

HUD plans to drill down to an even more granular level, detailing the proximity of black residents to transportation sites, good schools, parks and even supermarkets. If the agency’s social engineers rule the distance between blacks and these suburban “amenities” is too far, municipalities must find ways to close the gap or forfeit federal grant money and face possible lawsuits for housing discrimination.

Civil-rights groups will have access to the agency’s sophisticated mapping software, and will participate in city plans to re-engineer neighborhoods under new community outreach requirements.

“By opening this data to everybody, everyone in a community can weigh in,” Obama said. “If you want affordable housing nearby, now you’ll have the data you need to make your case.”

Mortgage database

Meanwhile, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, headed by former Congressional Black Caucus leader Mel Watt, is building its own database for racially balancing home loans. The so-called National Mortgage Database Project will compile 16 years of lending data, broken down by race, and hold everything from individual credit scores and employment records.

Mortgage contracts won’t be the only financial records vacuumed up by the database. According to federal documents, the repository will include “all credit lines,” from credit cards to student loans to car loans — anything reported to credit bureaus. This is even more information than the IRS collects.

The FHFA will also pry into your personal assets and debts and whether you have any bankruptcies. The agency even wants to know the square footage and lot size of your home, as well as your interest rate.

FHFA will share the info with Obama’s brainchild, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which acts more like a civil-rights agency, aggressively investigating lenders for racial bias.

The FHFA has offered no clear explanation as to why the government wants to sweep up so much sensitive information on Americans, other than stating it’s for “research” and “policymaking.”

However, CFPB Director Richard Cordray was more forthcoming, explaining in a recent talk to the radical California-based Greenlining Institute: “We will be better able to identify possible discriminatory lending patterns.”

Credit database

CFPB is separately amassing a database to monitor ordinary citizens’ credit-card transactions. It hopes to vacuum up some 900 million credit-card accounts — all sorted by race — representing roughly 85% of the US credit-card market. Why? To sniff out “disparities” in interest rates, charge-offs and collections.

Employment database

CFPB also just finalized a rule requiring all regulated banks to report data on minority hiring to an Office of Minority and Women Inclusion. It will collect reams of employment data, broken down by race, to police diversity on Wall Street as part of yet another fishing expedition.

School database

Through its mandatory Civil Rights Data Collection project, the Education Department is gathering information on student suspensions and expulsions, by race, from every public school district in the country. Districts that show disparities in discipline will be targeted for reform.

Those that don’t comply will be punished. Several already have been forced to revise their discipline policies, which has led to violent disruptions in classrooms.

Obama’s educrats want to know how many blacks versus whites are enrolled in gifted-and-talented and advanced placement classes.

Schools that show blacks and Latinos under-enrolled in such curricula, to an undefined “statistically significant degree,” could open themselves up to investigation and lawsuits by the department’s Civil Rights Office.

Count on a flood of private lawsuits to piggyback federal discrimination claims, as civil-rights lawyers use the new federal discipline data in their legal strategies against the supposedly racist US school system.

Even if no one has complained about discrimination, even if there is no other evidence of racism, the numbers themselves will “prove” that things are unfair.

Such databases have never before existed. Obama is presiding over the largest consolidation of personal data in US history. He is creating a diversity police state where government race cops and civil-rights lawyers will micromanage demographic outcomes in virtually every aspect of society.

The first black president, quite brilliantly, has built a quasi-reparations infrastructure perpetually fed by racial data that will outlast his administration. (NYP)
