Bolling Over

Since March, <Eric> Bolling (Fox Business Network)  has pleaded to President Obama to reach out to him about his ideas for reducing the price of gasoline, even giving out his phone number on the air during Fox & Friends in hopes that the Commander-in-Chief would give him a ring to discuss his “silver bullet” solution.

No such luck, especially when your rigid ideology does not permit it. The President and his “green” commandos only want less supply and higher priced oil so that you’ll be forced (in their minds) to kiss up to their “green” agenda.

The Agenda is the Agenda after all.

You know, the one that has cost jobs and a well over half a trillion dollars of taxpayer money in one bankruptcy after another.

So what if the technology isn’t there yet and it costs multiple times more than what we have now — It’s better than oil!! 🙂

So we have $4 a gallon in April.

Twice as much as it was when Obama took office. But don’t worry, it’s still Bush/Republican/Rich people’s fault.

And you’ll always have this sage advice from Candidate Obama in 2008: “There are things you can do individually, though, to save energy,” Obama said. “Making sure your tires are properly inflated – simple thing. But we could save all the oil that they’re talking about getting off drilling – if everybody was just inflating their tires? And getting regular tune-ups? You’d actually save just as much!”

Now don’t you “feel” better. 🙂

The EPA & Moratoriums have nothing to do with it.

This effects the entire economy. You’re paying for the inflation in trucking & transportation costs of just about everything you buy from T-Shirts to Peanut Butter (which is up 27% in the last 2 years by the way– I guess the guys at Big Peanut are getting fat rich over it!) Where is Rachael Maddow when you need her! We Need the Jiffy Police!! We Need to expose Big Peanut for the greedy, capitalist SOBs that they are! 🙂

Your costs are going up. Have you noticed?

The Environmentalists and their lawyers are a bane on our existence in the 21st Century with their 19th Century mentality.

The EPA, run by environmental ideologues crushes businesses and us with choking regulations.

But there is another predator out there that most don’t see because “Big Oil” is the evil Boogeyman by the Left.

Which as a sidenote I never quite got because the oil itself comes largely from the Middle East so the money ultimately goes there because that is where the product came from to begin with so they are ultimately the “source”.

Oh and there’s this tidbit: The Chinese government dealt the public relations strategy of green technology advocates in the Obama administration a blow last month when Premier Wen Jiabao announced that the state-run economy would stop expanding its wind and solar industries, choosing instead to focus on nuclear, hydroelectric and shale — or fracking — as the energies of the future.

“It is getting tougher and tougher for the Obama administration to argue that somehow we’re in this big race for green power worldwide when the rest of the world seems to have decided that the race isn’t worth winning,” Daniel Kish, the senior vice president for policy at the Institute for Energy Research, told The Daily Caller.

The Chinese were, after all, the reason Solyndra, Beyond Solar, and other “green” companies went bankrupt. It had nothing to do with mismanagement at all.

But back the hidden danger.

It’s The Banks. You know, the “rich” people who were bailed out by Obama in 2009. The ones that are still bankrolling politicians on both sides. The ones who when effectively forced by the Democrats to make whacko risk loans to people who could afford them started a trading industry to try and package and re-sell impossible debt. It worked for about 10 years then crashed the entire economy horribly in 2007.

They are the largest “speculators” on the petroleum market. It was estimated by Eric Bolling that they add around 17 cents a gallon alone.

Government taxes on gasoline makes more money than Oil Companies do on the Oil itself.

The fact that 87% of off-shore oil is inaccessible because the government says so (because the environmentalist say so) and that new drilling is all but prohibited by the Obama Administration is a real problem. Not a phony Class Warfare one.

The Keystone Pipeline, folks. remember that?

The “increase” in production that Obama sights when criticized isn’t due to him AT ALL. And he knows it, but a liberal is more than happy to lie if it can throw you off the sent and the class warfare is just a bonus.

Put simply: If you lower supply what happens to the price when demand goes up?

“So…the solution…” Bolling announced.

“You know a little bit about this, don’t you, Eric?” Palin interjected.

“I’ve had 20 years experience in the trading world in oil and gas…” Bolling noted. “Can we bring in the top secret…”

Suddenly a security guard brought out Bolling’s top secret envelope encased in a bulletproof suitcase.

“We have a top secret silver bullet here,” Palin observed. “We are criticized, I know I am, for preaching all the time, drill baby, drill. Well, this goes beyond drill baby drill!”

“If I could ask you to open — to reveal the envelope so I can step away and put this around,” Bolling instructed Palin.

Palin finally opened the envelope, and the cat was out of the bag.

“Top secret…In addition to drill baby drill,” Palin clarified.

Bolling spun his chalk board around which read, “RAISE ENERGY MARGIN REQUIREMENTS, ALL ENERGY TRADED ON EXCHANGE.”

“It doesn’t replace drill, baby, drill, Governor,” Bolling explained. “It’s in in addition. Raise energy trading margin requirements. All energy has to be traded on an exchange. Bear with me. It’s a little technical. The reason why so many billions of barrels are traded…is because the banks can trade it. People are allowed to trade it for little or no money down. At some point, Goldman Sachs decided they want to buy oil barrels it pushes the price up. If they sell them in the same day, they don’t have to put a penny up to do that trade. It’s a free trade for them. If they want to hold it overnight, sometimes they will pay up to $2,000-$3,000 on a contract that is worth $100,000. So governor, this we need to make this equation a little bit more even. We need to bring this bowl down to something more reasonable.”

What I took from this, because I’m no economics genius, was that if you raise the risk (the price paid for those speculations) the people who are speculating now will think a bit more before pulling the trigger.

If there is no risk and all reward the sky’s the limit.

And If I buy it for X and sell it to the next guy for X+2 I just made a profit but now the other guy has to sell it for even more to make their profit so the price goes up and up and up.

The problem is that the smaller investors who aren’t the deep pocket banks could be hurt by it.

So like most ideas it’s not perfect but it’s better than the one we got.

And if it doesn’t work, well, there’s always “Drill, Baby, Drill” 🙂

Because the best way to beat high demand is high supply and that means we use what we have instead of getting the majority of it from people who have even more dubious and devious purpose than Liberals, people like Hugo Chavez, George Soros, Iran,The Middle East.

Natural Gas Prices show this. 5 years ago they were at an All-time high. Now with a much higher supply the price is low.

But to do it you have to have the Political will to fight Liberals, Environmentalists and Their Lawyers, and the Networks –which boils down to Liberals anyways.

And they don’t play nice. They don’t play by any rules. They don’t respond to logic and reason. And they are as mean, nasty, and intolerant a bunch as you’ll ever meet.

But they are the ones you have to defeat.

And they are the ones that must be defeated in 2012.

Period. End of Story.

Hu Dat?

Chinese President Hu Jintao emphasized the need for cooperation with the U.S. in areas from new energy to space ahead of his visit to Washington this week, but he called the present U.S. dollar-dominated currency system a “product of the past” and highlighted moves to turn the yuan into a global currency.

The Chinese pouch our industrial base because Liberals hate business and make regulations, ObamaCare, and are just generally hostile to business so they go to China to compete in the world economy and they get it from the Chinese too, but they can’t come back because the Liberals will just sack them if they do.

The “soak the rich”, “CEO’s are evil”, “Corporate fascism” of the Left has consequences.

Class Warfare has consequences.

So China has our debt. Our Industrial Base. And now they want to be the big Dog.

And what will President Obama do about it?

Likely bow and apologize and grovel. Be “reasonable”.

We aren’t any better than them, we are all equal.

I guarantee the Chinese don’t think so.

On the economic front, Mr. Hu played down one of the main U.S. arguments for why China should appreciate its currency—that it will help China tame inflation. That is likely to disappoint Washington, which accuses China of unfairly boosting its exports by undervaluing the yuan, making its products cheaper overseas. The topic is expected to be high on U.S. President Barack Obama’s agenda when he meets Mr. Hu at the White House on Wednesday.

They are the barbarian hordes who have come in an sacked the over-bloated, decadent, Roman Empire – US.

Mr. Hu’s responses reflect a China that has grown more confident in recent years—especially in the wake of the global financial crisis, from which it emerged relatively unscathed.

They don’t respect us. They just see us as the big target to pick off and if they can get others to value the Yuan over the Dollar as the universal currency stick a fork in US we’re done.

So what will the Liberals do about it?

Nothing. Why would they? We are no better than than them. They are no better than us. We aren’t special. We ARE Greedy. And Corporate America is EVIL.

We deserve it.

The Chinese are Wal-Marting us. They deliberately undersell to drive the smaller competition away (in this case to China, India — anywhere but here!).

He called for an international financial system that is more “fair, just, inclusive and well-managed.”

Sound like a Liberal does it?

Sound like we can do it better because we are smarter-than-you Liberalism?

Fascinating isn’t it?

“The current international currency system is the product of the past,” he said, noting the primacy of the U.S. dollar as a reserve currency and its use in international trade and investment. (WSJ)

Add to that 70%+ of our Oil comes from people who want us dead. And what is the Liberal response?

Oil Moratoriums, Drilling Bans, and State Park set-asides that prevent US from supplying our own oil.

After all, Oil is EVIL!

So the Liberals turn to their “feel good” ‘green jobs’.

The Department of Labor has issued several million dollars in grants to community colleges and specialized universities around the country to train students for “green jobs” in renewable energy fields. While the grants are supposed to fund the future “rank and file” workers of the renewable energy industry, there’s a glaring problem the DOL seemingly overlooked — those jobs are either non-existent or scarce.

A former college official who has applied for these grants and has in-depth experience working with the Department of Labor and the Department of Education told The Daily Caller that colleges will often fudge expected job placement numbers just to get extra government cash.

“On ground level – it’s a real struggle – my grant writers came to me and honestly said, ‘I don’t have any job projections, what do I tell them?’ You do your best to make up job numbers,” said the former college official, who wished to remain anonymous to prevent jeopardizing future job opportunities. “But it’s not like lying – it’s just guessing what we might be able to do in a best case scenario, but you don’t say it’s not likely for many jobs.”

The former college official told TheDC that, though his college received five different “green jobs” grants from the Department of Labor to train students, no program has been set up yet.

They’re being given to universities and community colleges to train students in technical or associate degree programs to work in yet-to-be-developed fields. Many of the grants are promised to colleges that pledged to push “green jobs” or “new energy technology,” but don’t go into much more detail about how they plan to go about doing that.

That’s ok, when they graduate with their head full of liberal ‘green’ mush they can stay on unemployment for 99 weeks. Stay on their parent insurance dole until 26. And then apply for welfare from the state because they can’t find a job and blame it all on evil Corporate America!

But they will have Obamacare!

Or they could go to China and get a job there. 🙂

So what, it “feels good”!! And it’s not evil Corporate America!!

But even plants that make solar panels (see – http://blogs.forbes.com/williampentland/2011/01/17/u-s-solar-manufacturer-to-u-s-taxpayers-drop-dead-2/?boxes=financechannelforbes) move to China to compete.

“Solar manufacturers in China have received considerable government and financial support and, together with their low manufacturing costs, have become price leaders within the industry,” said Michael El-Hillow, President and Chief Executive Officer, about the company’s decision. “While the United States and other western industrial economies are beneficiaries of rapidly declining installation costs of solar energy, we expect the United States will continue to be at a disadvantage from a manufacturing standpoint . . . Although production costs at our Devens facility have steadily decreased, and are now below originally planned levels and lower than most western manufacturers, they are still much higher than those of our low cost competitors in China.”

After all, the Chinese have the world’s largest collection of solar panel manufacturers. 🙂

So China is making our Over-expensive, not-yet proven-to-be-efficient wave of the future hippie-liberal ‘green tech’  and our “green jobs”.

Talk about “shovel ready”.

They are just Chinese shovels!!

So we have very little industrial base. We have little domestic oil and energy production and our own companies leave because they can’t be competitive here.

Thank you, Class Warfare and Environmentalist  Whacko Liberals!

Mad yet?

You should be.

But don’t tell the Liberals, they will just have go off in a fit of rage and burst a few blood vessels and have a conniption about the evils of Corporate America, Oil, Wal-Mart, and Big Oil!

They’ll even foam at the mouth and spit poison! 🙂

But don’t worry, The Chinese will undoubtely come up with a cheaper solution for that too.

Just as the Visigoths did. But the big difference is that the Liberals will be handing out the torches!

After all, it’s George W. Bush’s, Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Republicans, “The Rich”, Conservative’s  Fault! 🙂

The Speech

I will give the President props. He gave a great speech.

“Bad things happen,” Obama said, “and we must guard against simple explanations in the aftermath.”

Hello, Mainstream Media and MSDNC!

He took shots at the LEFT and the media that went crazy, which I didn’t think he would.

He sounded Presidential for the first time ever.

But will it last and will he and the Democrats grow up and be that angel of our better nature and be able to live up to soaring speech about living up to the child’s vision of Christina Taylor Green. “I want us to live up to her expectations. I want our democracy to be as good as she imagined it,” Obama said.

“We may not be able to stop all evil in the world, but I know that how we treat one another is entirely up to us.” -President Obama.

“Let’s remember that it is not because a simple lack of civility caused this tragedy. It did not,” the president said.

He admonished against any instinct to point blame or to drift into political pettiness or to latch onto simple explanations that may have no merit.

Lofty words. But will his party of Social Justice nutbags temper themselves and be more civil to those with whom they disagree?

I doubt it.

I am too cynical.

I just have to think, I will get them to re-elect me in 2012 and then we got them! Heh heh heh… This is my cunning plan!

That and when he gets back to Washington DC Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the Queen, will slap him and say “I am not amused…” 🙂

Sorry, that’s me.

Arizona has been through a lot in the last few years.

Illegal Immigration gangs and Cartel killings.

A Governor who abandons her post to be the Peter Principle of the New President and then blows us off. (Janet Napalitano)

She said Illegal Immigration was a “federal problem” and then we she was the Fed she largely ignored us and said “it’s more secure than ever”.

So that’s why we have snipers in the hills of the border and thousands of drug dealers coming over the border, agents killed, ranchers killed, and signs near the border saying Americans should stay away because it’s too dangerous IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

So when we try and address the issue, the Government sues us and we all get tarred as “racists”.

When I saw Napalitano at the Memorial my first thought was “Well, we finally got her to come back here. Can we rope her and tie her to border”.

And I saw Eric Holder, and wondered if now that he was here we could convince him that we aren’t all angry white racists and bigots.

Both decided to read for the Bible instead at the Memorial.

They know the Bible?? Aren’t most Progressives secular and God and Christianity is evil (clinging to their guns and religion, right-wingers, etc)??

Isn’t this “government sanctioning religion”??

Will the ACLU sue them. 🙂

“At a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized — at a time when we are far too eager to lay the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do — it’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds,” the president said.

I would like to believe it, but I am too cynical. So I take the Ronald Reagan attitude of “trust but verify”. I don’t trust the Left. Period.

It sounded good. But if it is not acted on it is but sound and “fury” signifying nothing.

The Day before the shooting the Obama administration planned to announce plans for an Internet identity system that will limit fraud and streamline online transactions, leading to a surge in Web commerce, officials said.

What it will really do is make the government the nanny of the internet and of course with Mr Loughner’s well known use of the Internet it will be the Left’s opportunity to regulate the internet to our death.

Ve vill be vatching you! (bad german accent)

So not much has changed.

Been There. Done that got the T-Shirt.

The “capitalist” T-Shirt sold at the McKale Center at U of A Memorial service.
“i don’t understand how the Right can get all butthurt about coming together…it just seems…i mean…someone was shot in the fu**ing head…a congresswoman…and you can’t, for one goddamn second stop with all the BS and just join hands and even if you’re not a believer…at least close your eyes and hope?…wtf is wrong with these people?” (TPM-a liberal blog- reader comment)

Now that’s striking a new tone, don’t you think! 🙂

Can the Left grow up and stop the childish and churlish ad hominems and be civil.
I very much doubt it.
So, American Left, prove me wrong. I dare you! 🙂

The Word Police Rise

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.
–January 27, 1838 Abraham Lincoln

The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise — with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disentrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.
–December 1, 1862

What I predicted cynically yesterday has started to come true. 😦

Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress.

So “targeting” a liberal for defeat could be a federal crime soon. 😦

Disagreeing with someone in power will be a crime.

“Never waste a crisis…”

And the left has  had a renewed flare-up of Palin Derangement Syndrome, her “targeting” of candidates for defeat is for most on the vindictive minds of liberals.

“The rhetoric is just ramped up so negatively, so high, that we have got to shut this down,” Brady said.

Meaning, we have to censor those who disagree with The Left.

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann called on Palin to repudiate her part in “amplifying violence and violent imagery in politics.”

The Left is complete pure and virtuous and not responsible in any way for the vitriol they have interjected into politics, especially in the last 12 years. It’s all the right’s fault for opposing them.

Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas tweeted this early Saturday: “Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin.” The tweet included a link to Palin’s target map.

Kos also recycled a clip of Giffords reacting to the map on MSNBC, where she warned Palin of potential consequences to such visuals.

“The way that she has it depicted, has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district,” Giffords said. “When people do that, they’ve got to realize there are consequences to that action.”

Conservative Andrew Breitbart responded on his own website and on Twitter Saturday, tweeting this warning: “For the love of God, @markos. Stop it. Don’t go there, trust me. Trust me. Trust me. You will not like the blow-back, I assure you.”

Moulitsas, who is also a contributor to The Hill, re-tweeted the message, accompanied by an “LOL.”

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman wrote, “We don’t have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was.” Democrat Congressman Bill Pascrell of New Jersey denounced “an aura of hate” fed “by certain people on Fox News.”

Just hours after the shooting, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik sounded off at a news conference (BTW he’s a Democrat), pinning blame for the tragedy squarely on “the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government.” Dupnik proclaimed, “the anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous.”
“This may be free speech,” he said. “But it’s not without consequences.”
His comments flew across Twitter and were highlighted by a Daily Kos blogger who praised Dupnik for not being afraid “to point the finger at who is culpable.”

An internal Department of Homeland Security memo obtained by the network indicated that <the shooter> Loughner, 22, is “possibly linked” to an anti-Semetic, white supremacist group.
The DHS memo called the group American Renaissance “anti-government, anti-immigration, anti -ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti-Semitic.” (The Hill)

And the Left is the one that produced an Assassination Movie of a Sitting President and when they were excoriated for it they blew you off like it was meaningless. (called “Death of a President”).

Adelaide Now (Adelaide, South Australia) Always ripe with talk of threats and reprisals, the tone of American political debate has turned uglier in the past decade.

The Left raged against George W. Bush, hanging him in effigy, depicting him being guillotined and showing him in one movie being assassinated. After the election of a Democratic Congress in 2006 and President Barack Obama in 2008, the Right frequently invoked guns and violence to stir opposition.

To The Authors That Blame Murder On Politics

Posted by Thomas Purcell

Dear Author, and to other writers, columnists, and authors who blame this attack on right wing politics:
I think its outrageous that while the families of the dead still are shedding tears, and they aren’t even cold in the ground, that you would use your public forum and your skills as a writer, and author, to bring a political crusade into this issue.
The politics of discourse, whether it be heated, or not, is not the issue. The man that perpetrated this crime is solely to blame. There has not been a single shred of evidence to indicate that the shooter was acting on behalf of anyone that represent public conservative thought, much less Sarah Palin. Even a cursory review of the man’s rants on You Tube or Myspace or interviews with his high school friends show him to be a highly unbalanced individual, and most likely driven by his heretofore undiagnosed and untreated mental illness.
But there is a greater issue here, one that you and other writers are missing. You are abusing the authority your publisher, and the power of your readership to exploit the deaths of fine public servants in order to push a political cause. Writing, and authorship, carries with it great joys, as well as the ability to generate an income, but it also comes with it a great responsibility- to report with the judgment of a fair mind, and based in facts. Writing, and seeking readership in the public eye, is a serious matter, one that should not be taken lightly, or used as a weapon to injure those unfairly who disagree with you. The importance of such responsibility should not be taken lightly, nor disregarded. This is why acts of either plagiarism, yellow journalism, or libel are taken so seriously in courts of law.
There is nothing more powerful then the power of an idea.
Your column suggests that the theory that the Republicans should target certain individuals that had shown weakness in their local polling, and to support tea party candidates in those elections is tantamount to murder. You are saying that conservatives support individuals that go out and shoot the opposing candidates or murder a respected public servant. While issues such as Palin using a crosshairs to show candidates who should be targeted for reelection was done in poor judgement, it hardly is an act suggesting someone should go on shooting spree. In fact, I find it unlikely that you would be able to find a single article, speech or known author of the right, that would suggest such a thing and still keep their job- much less the respect of their readers. By posting such an article at this time, you are in effect, claiming that the public discourse of political discussion is inherently dangerous, and that opposition on ideas leads to violence.
And now, while law enforcement still is investigating the case, and the dead are not even put to rest, you use the pulpit of your column without any evidence- and, in fact, in opposition to what we do know, and just plain common sense.
I find it abominable.
Attacks and acts of violence against our leaders, whether they be from the left or right, or any political school of thought, has never been condoned or suggested by either side. It has been said that violence is the last refuge of the coward, and I agree with that sentiment. But to use the power of the pen, in such a scandalous way, and to act with disregard for the families of the dead; is an abuse of your skill, and the talents you were born with.
When I read columns like this, and others like it, I sometimes feel shame for the profession.

UNITED  IN HORROR (Ross Douthat- New York Times)

When John F. Kennedy visited Dallas in November of 1963, Texas was awash in right-wing anger — over perceived cold-war betrayals, over desegregation, over the perfidies of liberalism in general. Adlai Stevenson, then ambassador to the U.N., had been spit on during his visit to the city earlier that fall. The week of Kennedy’s arrival, leaflets circulated in Dallas bearing the president’s photograph and the words “Wanted For Treason.”

But Lee Harvey Oswald was not a right-winger, not a John Bircher, not a segregationist. Instead, he was a Marxist of sorts (albeit one disillusioned by his experiences in Soviet Russia), an activist on behalf of Castro’s Cuba, and a man whose previous plot had been aimed at a far-right ex-general named Edwin Walker. The anti-Kennedy excesses of Texas conservatives were real enough, but the president’s assassin acted on a far more obscure set of motivations.

Nine years after Kennedy was killed, George Wallace embarked on his second campaign for the presidency. This was the early 1970s, the high tide of far-left violence — the era of the Black Panthers, the Weathermen, the Symbionese Liberation Army — and Wallace’s race-baiting politics made him an obvious target for protests. On his final, fateful day of campaigning, he faced a barrage of coins, oranges, rocks and tomatoes, amid shouts of “remember Selma!” and “Hitler for vice president!”

But Arthur Bremer, who shot Wallace that afternoon, paralyzing him from the waist down, had only a tenuous connection to left-wing politics. He didn’t care much about Wallace’s views on race: he just wanted to assassinate somebody (Richard Nixon had been his original target), as “a statement of my manhood for the world to see.”

It’s possible that Jared Lee Loughner, the young man behind Saturday’s rampage in Tucson, will have a more direct connection to partisan politics than an earlier generation’s gunmen did. Indeed, many observers seem to be taking a kind of comfort from that possibility: there’s been a rush to declare this tragedy a teachable moment — an opportunity for people to cool their rhetoric, abandon their anger, and renounce the kind of martial imagery that inspired Sarah Palin’s PAC to place a target over Gabrielle Giffords’s district just months before Loughner gunned down the Arizona congresswoman.

But chances are that Loughner’s motives will prove as irreducibly complex as those of most of his predecessors in assassination. Violence in American politics tends to bubble up from a world that’s far stranger than any Glenn Beck monologue — a murky landscape where worldviews get cobbled together from a host of baroque conspiracy theories, and where the line between ideological extremism and mental illness gets blurry fast.

This is the world that gave us Oswald and Bremer. More recently, it’s given us figures like James W. von Brunn, the neo-Nazi who opened fire at the Holocaust Museum in 2009, and James Lee, who took hostages at the Discovery Channel last summer to express his displeasure over population growth. These are figures better analyzed by novelists than pundits: as Walter Kirn put it Saturday, they’re “self-anointed knights templar of the collective shadow realm, not secular political actors in extremis.”

This won’t stop partisans from making hay out of Saturday’s tragedy, of course. The Democratic operative who was quoted in Politico saying that his party needs “to deftly pin this on the Tea Partiers” was just stating the obvious: after a political season rife with overheated rhetoric from conservative “revolutionaries,” the attempted murder of a Democratic congresswoman is a potential gift to liberalism.

But if overheated rhetoric and martial imagery really led inexorably to murder, then both parties would belong in the dock. (It took conservative bloggers about five minutes to come up with Democratic campaign materials that employed targets and crosshairs against Republican politicians.) When our politicians and media loudmouths act like fools and zealots, they should be held responsible for being fools and zealots. They shouldn’t be held responsible for the darkness that always waits to swallow up the unstable and the lost.

We should remember, too, that there are places where mainstream political movements really are responsible for violence against their rivals. (Last week’s assassination of a Pakistani politician who dared to defend a Christian is a stark reminder of what that sort of world can look like.) Not so in America: From the Republican leadership to the Tea Party grass roots, all of Gabrielle Giffords’s political opponents were united in horror at the weekend’s events. There is no faction in American politics that actually wants its opponents dead.

That may seem like a small blessing, amid so much tragedy and loss. But it is a blessing worth remembering nonetheless.

Amen!

And then there was this from The Australian reader’s comments.

Frank Bellet, Petrie, Qld

IN a nation where political opponents are declared to be Nazis or communists and major political figures are vilified as conspirators in a plot to bring down the US, reasonable political discourse becomes very difficult.

This sort of angry rhetoric is designed to make the motives of anyone with opposing political views suspect, to imply that they are traitors rather than simply people with another idea of the national interest.

“Paranoia is the most political of mental illnesses. Paranoids need enemies and politics is full of enemies,” said Jerrold Post, director of the Political Psychology program at George Washington University and the author of ‘Political Paranoia’.

So the silliness continues and Orwell is on a binge!

A Glorious New Dawn? Or a Mushroom Cloud?

Wanna she the hope of “bipartisanship” or “cooperation” fade just pay attention to the progression in the following new item from the Washington Times with particular attention to Still Senate Majority Harry Reid.

“Hard work and tough decisions will be required of the 112th Congress. No longer can we fall short. No longer can we kick the can down the road. The people voted to end business as usual, and today we begin carrying out their instructions,” said the Ohio Republican, who leads his party’s biggest House majority in decades by a margin of 242-to-193.

He also acknowledged the “great deal of scar tissue” he said has built up over partisan fights, presaging the head-butting he and his House colleagues will likely do over the next two years with the Senate, which also convened Wednesday as Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. swore in 35 new and returning members, leaving Democrats in control, but with a much weaker 53-47 majority.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who survived his own tough re-election fight in Nevada to return to lead Senate Democrats, called on senators to see one another as “teammates, not as opponents.” Democrats are trying to write rules changes to curb “abuses” of Senate traditions he said have allowed Republicans to block parts of the Democrats’ agenda.

Aka, the Filibuster rules. They worked fine when the Republicans were in control of the Senate, but they have been annoying the Democrats who have been forced to use unconventional, even unconstitutional maneuvers to pass their agenda.

And that’s just annoying. So let’s all agree to change the rules in our favor.

And if the Senate goes Republican in 2012 you know they’ll carp and bitch about how unfair the rules they want to pass now are to them.

That’s hope dying folks.

And today the evil Republicans in the House have scheduled a reading of the US Constitution on the floor of the House.

Evil Bastards! 🙂

The Democrats new strategy, repealing ObamaCare would balloon the deficit!! As if keeping it would save us all money, oh that’s right, that IS STILL their party line despite all the actual evidence and 222 waivers!

So Partisan mudfighting is alive and well.

The children have not grown up yet.

Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hands the gavel to new Speaker John Boehner. | Photo by John Shinkle

Nancy Pelosi smiled and applauded on the House floor Wednesday afternoon as the clerk read the tally of the vote that formally ended her speakership.

Inside her head I bet she had visions of bludgeoning John Boehner to death and taking all the other Republicans with her!

It was the same joyless perma-grin – really, a grimace with upturned corners of the mouth – that came to define Pelosi during her four years in charge of the House: an expression meant to connote her warmth and sincerity that too often conveyed the opposite. (Washington Post)

You’re a mean one, Mrs. Grinch! 🙂

You’re a mean one, Mrs. Grinch
You really are a heel,
You’re as cuddly as a cactus, you’re as charming as an eel, Mrs. Grinch,

You’re a bad banana with a greasy black peel!

You’re a monster, Mrs. Grinch,
Your heart’s an empty hole,
Your brain is full of spiders, you’ve got garlic in your soul, Mrs. Grinch,

I wouldn’t touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!

You’re a vile one, Mrs. Grinch,
You have termites in your smile,
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mrs. Grinch,

Given a choice between the two of you I’d take the … seasick crocodile!

You nauseate me, Mrs. Grinch,
With a nauseous super “naus”,
You’re a crooked dirty jockey and you drive a crooked hoss, Mrs.  Grinch,

You’re a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich, with arsenic sauce

You’re a foul one, Mrs. Grinch,
You’re a nasty wasty skunk,
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mrs. Grinch,

The three words that describe you are as follows, and I quote, “Stink, Stank, Stunk!”

You’re a rotter, Mrs. Grinch,
You’re the king of sinful sots,
Your heart’s a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots, Mrs. Grinch,

Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish imaginable, mangled up in tangled up knots! (apologies to Dr. Seuss)

And now she goes back to being the sniping attack dog leading an even more liberal Democrat minority, though only 90% voted for her as Minority leader. I’m sure those 10% will be killed and eaten summarily. 🙂

So, not much hope.

The Rebels have scored a major victory, but the Second Death Star and The Empire are still out there.

And we have to hope also that our merry band of Rebel fighters have the guts for the fight.

“What they want is a government that is honest, accountable and responsive to their needs. A government that respects individual liberty, honors our heritage, and bows before the public it serves.”– Speaker Boehner
If Only…If only…

DEATH PANELS, WHAT DEATH PANELS  — Round TWO

President Barack Obama (D), along with his staff and media enablers, laughed when Sarah Palin condemned the death panels embedded in Obamacare. “She’s so silly, there is no such thing as death panels,” they piously giggled. Well they’re not laughing anymore; the officially non existent death panels, which really did exist–thank you Sarah Palin–have been uhm…terminated just a few days after Obamacare, with the aforementioned death panels, kicked in, reports Robert Pear of the New York Times.

The Obama administration, reversing course, will revise a Medicare regulation to delete references to end-of-life planning as part of the annual physical examinations covered under the new health care law, administration officials said Tuesday.

The move is an abrupt shift, coming just days after the new policy took effect on Jan. 1.

Many doctors and providers of hospice care had praised the regulation, which listed “advance care planning” as one of the services that could be offered in the “annual wellness visit” for Medicare beneficiaries.

And just why did the Obama administration so quickly drop the death panels, er end of life planning service as part of a wellness visit?

While administration officials cited procedural reasons for changing the rule, it was clear that political concerns were also a factor.

Once again, thank you Sarah Palin.

The renewed debate over advance care planning threatened to become a distraction to administration officials who were gearing up to defend the health law against attack by the new Republican majority in the House.

Distractions, distractions.

To paraphrase Shakespeare, “a death panel by any other name, say end of life planning, is still a death panel.”

To paraphrase Gertrude Stein, “a death panel is a death panel is a death panel.”

To quote Sarah Palin, “death panel.”

Be alert: Obamacare might resurrect death panels with still yet another euphemism. (American Thinker)

I hear also that instead of Death Panels the FDA will simply decide to not approve a drug that would extend life instead of treat or cure a disease. So they just won’t allow you to have the drug, thus saving them from the whole issue to begin with. If you can’t have it, then they don’t have to counsel you, you’ll just die on your own without the knowledge of it to begin with.

Now that’s your liberal compassion for you… Hail Orwell! Hail King Obama I!!

Or else…

Greed

I went to the movies yesterday. I saw “I Want Your Money” http://www.iwantyourmoney.net/

Every American should see this movie.

I Want Your Money Poster - Click to View Extra Large Image

But admittedly, it will make Liberals and Progressives explode, it has some harsh words for Republicans especially after 2003 when they did become Democrats and how we can’t afford that again.

But the big one that I thought was really fascinating was: Greed.

The Liberals have made this their center post for most of my life and they especially have made it the big focus now that they stand on the precipice of not having it like they did or not at all.

What is Greed?

And one of the questions raised in the documentary,” Name me one society that is not based on greed?”

That’s a more profound question than it looks because if you’re truly honest with yourself and with others you already know the real answer.

None.

It doesn’t exist.

So using “greed” as a political weapon is dishonest at best.

The liberals and the progressives are greedy. There just greedy with your money.

They are greedy for their own power.

And their class warfare against “the rich” is just using your greed to further theirs.

“The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money [to spend].” (attributed to many people).

And we’ve run out of money period. But yet, Obama and crew still want to spend even more. They don’t know any other way.

Greed is a pernicious thing.

We all do it.

I do it.

Getting “something for free” is a form of greed because nothing tangible is ever free.

Just yesterday I saw a new version of the Andy Griffith Health Care pimp-me commercial talking about all the “free” stuff that Medicare patients were going to get under ObamaCare.

That’s disingenuous at best, and a lie at worst.

1) If Doctors stop taking Medicare patients then you’re screwed. And they are.

2) the “free” service has to be paid by someone. That someone being you. it’s called the premium. That shared risk pool money you pay for insurance.

So they are being greedy with your money.

And Medicare is going to be cut by $500 Billion (at least according to the bill), especially Medicare Advantage.

Do Democrats tout that one? Of Course not!

And then the Democrats go after “the rich” and make you envious of them.

That’s a form of greed. Because you lust after their money. You covet their money. The money they’ve earned and you haven’t.

Mind you, Democrats have plenty of “rich” people backing them and plenty of  Unions that are International entities (AFL-CIO and SEIU just to name 2) and could get money from foreign sources.

But they aren’t going to mention it.

And neither will the Ministry of Truth Media.

Why would they. They are playing on your emotions. They are manipulating you. Why point out their duplicity. 🙂

Welfare is greedy.

You’re being paid by other people’s labor.

So, name me a society free of greed.

It doesn’t exist.

So when the Democrats trot out class warfare and  proclaim piously how they are for the working man and the poor against “the rich” and the”greedy” laugh in their both of their two faces!!

Just this weekend: “They’re fighting back. The empire is striking back. To win this election, they are plowing tens of millions of dollars into front groups. They are running misleading negative ads all across the country.”-President Obama

And Democrats aren’t?

What about his front groups like Moveon.Org (Foreign Billionaire George Soros), The SEIU, The AFL-CIO, The UAW, Media Matters, and on and on and on??

What of their nothing but negative ads??

And where is the “fair” media. The “journalists”??

They are in bed with Obama. Incestuously so.

Have  you seen any of this out of Katie Couric? Or Brian Williams? Or Diane Sawyer?

No. And you won’t either.

“I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of, you know, fat-cat bankers on Wall Street,” President Barack Obama told CBS’ “60 Minutes.” He also has decried the “arrogance and greed” and “excess greed, excess compensation” of America’s business executives.

Top Democrats like Obama constantly denounce private avarice. But when the fat cats are feds, not financiers, they go silent. To leading Democrats, government greed is good.

Just as Wall Street and corporate America relentlessly pursue profits, Congress and federal bureaucrats possess a ravenous hunger for trillions of tax dollars to fuel lavish spending schemes, underwrite gluttonous public salaries and benefits, and seize increasing power.

These days, the wallets of many American taxpayers feel like helium balloons. Yet Washington always wants more.

A post-election, Democrat-led, lame-duck congressional session may tax “the rich” ― specifically, individuals who earn north of $200,000 annually and married couples who make above $250,000.

If so, top tax rates would rise from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. Remember: These disgusting plutocrats are expected to pay higher taxes and simultaneously hire the unemployed.

Furthermore, the capital gains tax could jump from 15 percent to 20 percent (rising to 23.8 percent in 2013, thanks to ObamaCare), and the dividends tax could soar from 15 percent to 39.6 percent. This also would snatch growth capital from the productive sector.

The Death Tax now dead could be resurrected at 55 percent on estates exceeding $1 million. If key Democrats prevail, they would slam this sickly economy with at least $678 billion in higher taxes, the National Taxpayers Union estimates.

Meanwhile, as Americans miss mortgage payments, shutter businesses and abandon their dreams, it’s happy hour for government employees. What reformist Republican Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey properly calls “shared sacrifice” means something completely different in Washington: The American people sacrifice, and the feds share in the proceeds.

As the Heritage Foundation calculates, between December 2007 (the start of the Great Recession) and July 2010, private-sector employment shrank by 7,837,000 positions, or 6.8 percent.

However, federal civilian employment grew by 198,000 positions, or 10 percent, not counting temporary Census workers. In 2009, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reports, private-sector salaries and benefits averaged $61,051.

The federal-civilian figure? $123,049 ― more than double. Also, the Office of Personnel Management found that between December 2007 and June 2009, the number of federal employees earning at least $170,000 zoomed 93 percent.

As if devouring your money were not enough, Washington also sticks its collective snout everywhere. The feds have ordered New York City to change 250,900 street signs from ALL CAPS to caps and lower case, supposedly because “BROADWAY” is tougher to read than “Broadway.”

Rather than invite D.C. to SHOVE IT, Mayor Michael Bloomberg rolled over and appropriated $27.6 million to obey Washington’s latest edict. This sum could pay 219 rookie cops their $41,975 starting salaries for three years. (Deroy Murdock in Korea Times)

But the Democrats aren’t “greedy”. 🙂

It’s only Republicans and non-Democrats who are “greedy” for both money and power. 🙂

Don’t believe me? Just ask them…

Behind the Times

The Obama administration, headed up by a liberal dogma that has been trying to create it’s socialist utopia since Woodrow Wilson is not going to give up it’s sole dream of controlling everyone and everything ‘for their own good’ and “fairness”.

But it is curious that the Europeans who already went down this road in large part are starting to go back in our former direction.

It’s kind of like driving towards a massive accident and seeing people coming back from it bloodied and hurt, but you decide it can’t happen to me so you keep going anyhow.

That’s National Health Care now nearly 5 months after it was crammed down the throats of the American public in the single most partisan vote in memory.

Damn The Torpedoes! Full Steam ahead!

LONDON — Perhaps the only consistent thing about Britain’s socialized health care system is that it is in a perpetual state of flux, its structure constantly changing as governments search for the elusive formula that will deliver the best care for the cheapest price while costs and demand escalate.

Even as the new coalition government said it would make enormous cuts in the public sector, it initially promised to leave health care alone. But in one of its most surprising moves so far, it has done the opposite, proposing what would be the most radical reorganization of the National Health Service, as the system is called, since its inception in 1948.

Practical details of the plan are still sketchy. But its aim is clear: to shift control of England’s $160 billion annual health budget from a centralized bureaucracy to doctors at the local level. Under the plan, $100 billion to $125 billion a year would be meted out to general practitioners, who would use the money to buy services from hospitals and other health care providers.

The plan would also shrink the bureaucratic apparatus, in keeping with the government’s goal to effect $30 billion in “efficiency savings” in the health budget by 2014 and to reduce administrative costs by 45 percent. Tens of thousands of jobs would be lost because layers of bureaucracy would be abolished. (London Times)

So like the G20 Summit where “austerity” was the watchword by the Europeans and Obama stood there stamping his foot demanding people spend even more.

Not only are the Democrats and their dream out of date they are out of step even with the people they still want to dance with.

They wanted to be them.

Now it’s too late.

But that won’t stop them, of course.

Zealots who have been waiting 80 years+ for this will not be so easily deterred.

But the effects of this are beginning.

MANDEVILLE, La.—Mark Baumann, a 44-year-old uninsured diabetic, sees in the Obama administration’s health-care law a future with stable coverage to pay for his insulin shots and blood tests.

That’s likely to come indirectly at the expense of his mother’s generous health-care plan.

Humana Inc., Mary Baumann’s insurer, intends to pare her “Medicare Advantage” plan to make up for the smaller government payments it will soon receive as a result of the new law, leaving her with higher costs or fewer services. On the table are beefed-up co-payments and premiums, as well as the loss of perks such as her free membership at a health club.

Most Americans know the overhaul is designed to cover the uninsured, a decades-long goal of Democrats. But it also represents a change in how the government spreads its social safety net underneath Americans. Already, it’s creating tensions that are a harbinger of debates to come.

Since the creation of Social Security and Medicare, younger workers have funded programs for the elderly. It’s a compact in which workers paid for retirees with the understanding that they’d be looked after by the generation behind them.

The health overhaul diverges by tapping a program for the elderly to help provide insurance to 32 million Americans of younger generations. Nearly half the funding for the law is supposed to come from paying lower fees to hospitals, insurers and other health-care providers that participate in Medicare, the federal insurance program for Americans age 65 and older, as well as younger disabled people.

The 44 million Americans on Medicare won’t see changes to their guaranteed benefits under the law. But of those, 11.3 million on Medicare Advantage plans, a public-private hybrid of the type used by Ms. Baumann, who is 79, are likely to begin seeing extra benefits go away as soon as next year. Medicare Advantage cuts are slated to pay for 15% of the health-care law’s tab.

The trims mark the leading edge of a spending shift that could broaden as lawmakers grapple with a deficit expected to hit $1.47 trillion this year. Left unchanged, Medicare and Social Security will consume half of all federal spending by 2035, up from about one third today, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

And remember, by recess appointment an NHS-loving administrator is the head of Medicare.

And if, as predicted by many, including me, that private health insurance is driven completely to extinction then you’ll have health cost also in that GDP soup and with already half the people in this country not paying any taxes it does very bleak.

But at least it’s “fair”. 🙂

And, of course, the solution that will be published after the election by Obama’s “deficit commission” is a forgone conclusion, The VAT TAX and other taxes.

Then came Financial “reform” where one of the biggest cause of the problem, just like in Health Care (Trial Lawyers anyone?), were ignored because of partisan politics — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

And then with the massive tax increases, even on the poor, slated for Jan 1,2011 you have the perfect storm.

But the Democrats will not change course. You know that. I know now that. They know that.

Damn the Torpedoes! Full Steam ahead!

They don’t care how many European train wrecks occur.

It’s their time and they will do it anyhow!

For “fairness” and “equality” and “social justice”! 🙂

Meanwhile, the rationing the Democrats say will not happen here are happening in their beloved NHS, acocrding to the  liberal Sun Telegraph newspaper:

Some of the most common operations — including hip replacements and cataract surgery — will be rationed as part of attempts to save billions of pounds, despite government promises that front-line services would be protected.

Patients’ groups have described the measures as “astonishingly brutal”.

An investigation by The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered widespread cuts planned across the NHS, many of which have already been agreed by senior health service officials. They include:

* Restrictions on some of the most basic and common operations, including hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery and orthodontic procedures.

* Plans to cut hundreds of thousands of pounds from budgets for the terminally ill, with dying cancer patients to be told to manage their own symptoms if their condition worsens at evenings or weekends.

* The closure of nursing homes for the elderly.

* A reduction in acute hospital beds, including those for the mentally ill, with targets to discourage GPs from sending patients to hospitals and reduce the number of people using accident and emergency departments.

* Tighter rationing of NHS funding for IVF treatment, and for surgery for obesity.

* Thousands of job losses at NHS hospitals, including 500 staff to go at a trust where cancer patients recently suffered delays in diagnosis and treatment because of staff shortages.

* Cost-cutting programmes in paediatric and maternity services, care of the elderly and services that provide respite breaks to long-term carers.

And now back to US…

We badly need to, over time and very gradually, reallocate resources from the elderly to younger families and their children,” said Isabel Sawhill, senior fellow at the liberal-leaning Brookings Institution.

“I’m sure that some of those additional benefits have been nice,” Nancy-Ann DeParle, who runs the White House’s Office of Health Reform, says of Medicare Advantage plans. “But I think what we have to look at here is what’s fair and what’s important for the strength of the Medicare program long term.”

Sun Telegraph: The Government has promised to protect the overall budget of the NHS, which will continue to receive above-inflation increases, but said the service must make “efficiency savings” of up to £20 billion by 2014, which would be diverted back to the front line.

Brother from another socialist mother? 🙂

Dr Peter Carter, the head of the Royal College of Nursing, said he was “incredibly worried” about the disclosures.

Dr Carter said: “Andrew Lansley keeps saying that the Government will protect the front line from cuts – but the reality appears to be quite the opposite. We are seeing trusts making job cuts even when they have already admitted to being short staffed.

Trust boards are the ones who make the health care calls now.

Much like the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology  that was in the Stimulus Bill.

And we won’t even go over the Food Police again this time.

Sun Telegraph: On Thursday, the board of Sutton and Merton primary care trust (PCT) in London agreed more than £50 million of savings in two years. The plan included more than £400,000 to be saved by “reducing length of stay” in hospital for the terminally ill.

As well as sending more patients home to die, the paper said the savings would be made by admitting fewer terminally ill cancer patients to hospital because they were struggling to cope with symptoms such as pain. Instead, more patients would be given advice on “self management” of their condition.

Bill Gillespie, the trust’s chief executive, said patients would stay at home, or be discharged from hospital only if that was their choice, and would be given support in their homes.

The president told the {New York Times in 2008}magazine that the chronically ill and elderly represent 80 percent of American healthcare costs, and said, “(T)here is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place.”

“And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance,” he added.

That “independent group” turns out to be the government, now run by him. Funny how that worked out. 🙂

But the president questioned whether his now-deceased grandmother should have received her hip replacement while suffering a terminal illness.

Recounting the dilemma, Obama said, “(T)he question was, does she get hip replacement surgery even though she was fragile enough that they weren’t sure how long she would last (or) whether she could get through the surgery.”

“I think families all across America are going through decisions like that all the time,” Obama said.

This was not the first time the president had used his grandmother to illustrate his point on health care. In an April 2008 interview with The New York Times Magazine, Obama suggested much of the cost of health care in America comes from the elderly and those with chronic illness.

“That’s where you get into some very difficult moral issues,” Obama said – specifically considering whether “in the aggregate, society making those decisions to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill is a sustainable model, is a very difficult question.”

This was BEFORE he became president mind you. But the Journo-List inspired Media was not going to let you dwell on it.

2009 Newsweek article on the “The Five biggest Lies in the Health Care Debate”:

What we can say is that there is de facto rationing under the current system, by both Medicare and private insurance. No plan covers everything, but coverage decisions “are now made in opaque ways by insurance companies,” says Dr. Donald Berwick of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Donald Berwick? Where have I heard that name recently.

Oh yeah, he’s the guy who was appointed by Obama as Head of Medicare and Medicaid without Senate approval by a recess appointment and he’s an admitted lover of the NHS.

Gee, that couldn’t be a coincidence now could it? 🙂

The {Health Care} law will spend $938 billion over a decade, mostly to expand coverage to lower-income Americans. To finance that, there will be $455 billion coming from cuts in government payments to health-care providers that serve patients on Medicare and two other federal programs. The hardest hit—to the tune of $136 billion—will be private insurance companies that run Medicare Advantage plans.

The payment cuts to Medicare Advantage begin in 2012.

“With the president being younger, my biggest concern is that we don’t mean anything,” said Sandy Reed, a 61-year-old who has a Medicare Advantage plan because she qualifies as disabled. “We’re disposable.”

‘Death Panels’ indeed…

And it has come out on the Daily Caller in their further investigation of the Journo-List scandal that the Mainstream media were in full bore mode of destruction when Gov. Palin was announced as McCain’s running mate.

All that savagery was plotted out.

So what you do when your opponent speaks the truth to power, destroy her.

So that’s why the ‘death panels’ comment was so widely and uniformly from left mocked, dismissed and discredited.

To this very day she is the most hated woman in America by the Left.

Most of the rest will be funded by new levies, including taxes on health-care companies, a higher Medicare payroll tax for wealthy Americans and a tax on high-value insurance plans. Critics of the law say its total cost is likely higher than advertised.

But it’s not like the Democrats actually care.

Their one and only shot at injecting their socialist cancer, that they’ve been waiting since their grandparents time in many cases, is all that matters.

Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

But at least it’s “fair”. 🙂
