A Little Perspective

He laughs cynically… 🙂

Two of the central promises of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul law are unlikely to be fulfilled, Medicare’s independent economic expert told Congress on Wednesday.

The landmark legislation probably won’t hold costs down, and it won’t let everybody keep their current health insurance if they like it, Chief Actuary Richard Foster told the House Budget Committee. His office is responsible for independent long-range cost estimates.

Foster was asked by Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., for a simple true or false response on two of the main assertions made by supporters of the law: that it will bring down unsustainable medical costs and will let people keep their current health insurance if they like it.

On the costs issue, “I would say false, more so than true,” Foster responded.

As for people getting to keep their coverage, “not true in all cases.”

So is it “uncivil” of me to cackle cynically and say “I told you so!” 🙂

Foster says analysis by his office shows that the health care law will raise the nation’s health care tab modestly because newly insured people will be getting medical services they would have otherwise gone without.

Costs could also increase if Medicare cuts to hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies turn out to be politically unsustainable over the years. The actuary’s office has projected those cuts would eventually force about 15 percent of providers into the red. The health care law funnels savings from the Medicare cuts to provide coverage to uninsured workers and their families.

As for people getting to keep their health insurance plan, Foster’s office is projecting that more than 7 million Medicare recipients in private Medicare Advantage plans will eventually have to find other coverage, cutting enrollment in the plans by about half.

The health care law gradually cuts generous government payments to the plans, so insurers are expected to raise premiums or even drop out. And the main reason seniors have flocked to the private plans is that they offer lower out-of-pocket costs.

Medicare recipients who lose private coverage would still be guaranteed coverage in the traditional program, but they would likely have to take out a supplementary insurance plan for gaps in their coverage. (Fox and AP)

If you dig you can find it on ABC News and they post this also (they are too busy talking about Snow to put it in the headlines):

The White House responded to Foster’s testimony in a blog post by Stephanie Cutter, a top aide helping to guide the political strategy on health care. “Once again, we disagree,” Cutter wrote. “History shows that it is possible to implement measures that will save money for Medicare and the federal government.”

And what are those measures, pre tell??

Then the trash talk starts.

Obama White House officials predict that Foster will be proven wrong about the health care law. Republicans hang on his every word.

NBC and CBS all lead with the Snow and make finding this story very hard (smelling a pattern here…:) )

Damn That Global WARMING! 🙂

The Leftists at the Huffington Post banner headline was bashing Republicans (as always) but if you search you can find the story. While the headline suggests what the other did the text doesn’t. It starts with  story about how the Obama vision is correct and here are the “experts” who say the Actuary is full of crap first then they get “civil”.

It’s a dispute about numbers and how they’re bandied about by powerful people in Washington.

But you don’t need an economics degree to follow this one. All you have to do is remember your fractions.

But then there’s : The health care law expands coverage, reducing the number of uninsured by more than 32 million, although about 24 million will remain without coverage.

Gee, I thought this was supposed to cover EVERYONE. After all EVERYONE is required BY LAW to have insurance or else the jackboots at the IRS will come a kick in your door and FINE you!

Curiouser and Curiouser!

If you divide total national health care spending by a bigger number of insured people, you get a smaller per-person result.

“It’s not that it’s false, it’s just that it will be a little misleading,” John Allen Paulos, a mathematics professor at Temple University in Philadelphia, said of the White House number, calling it an “apples-to-oranges miscomparison.”

Talk about schizophrenic. The Huffington Post is trying to convince itself WHILE it’s writing the article!

And should we mention just how simplistic this line of reasoning actually is and how this so simplistic as to be silly?

Probably Not. They’ll just hate me anyways.

In 2019, when the overhaul is fully phased in, the tab will be $4.6 trillion. (Huffington Post)

Gee, that’s not much. 🙂

Then there’s this one:

The White House has renominated Donald M. Berwick to be Medicare chief six months after bypassing the Senate and installing him in the job in a recess appointment.

Obama initially nominated Berwick last April. After the recess appointment in July, Berwick could serve through this year without Senate confirmation. (CBS)

So they have avoided having him go through a Senate Confirmation TWICE now.

So what are they hiding. 🙂

Could it be “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care – the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”

or

“Using unwanted procedures in terminal illness is a form of assault. In economic terms it is a waste.”

Nothing to worry about. Nothing to see here.

Ignore the 800 lb gorilla about pound you into ground.

Don’t worry about the inconsistencies and the bold faced lies.

Be “civil” and just ignore all the “investments”.

ANN COULTER

I missed the middle section of Obama’s State of the Union address when I took a break to read “War and Peace,” but I gather he never got around to what I was hoping he’d say, which is: “What was I thinking?”

The national debt is $14 trillion, the Democrats won’t stop spending, and President Nero gave us a long gaseous speech about his Stradivarius.

I feel so Southern whenever I watch a Democrat give a State of the Union address — and not just because it makes me want to secede. Consternating the rest of the family, my Kentucky mother always talked back to the TV. I do it only when a Democrat is giving a speech.

And if liberals didn’t like Samuel Alito mouthing the words “not true,” they should be really happy I wasn’t in the House chamber Tuesday night.

All I kept hearing was, “Ann pays more.” That’s all I ever I hear when Democrats start in with all that “investing.”

Apparently the government will be “investing” in education, “investing” in technology, “investing” in roads and “investing” in lots and lots of government workers. Ann pays more, Ann pays more, Ann pays more.

Obama compared “investing” in education to our sending a man to the moon after the Russians launched Sputnik. Say, who was the president who recently gutted spending on NASA? Oh yes, that was Obama.

So he reminded us of the glory days of the space program, but now he’s taking that money and funneling it to public school teachers. As the Democrats say: “If we can put a man on the moon, why can’t we hire another 10,000 public school teachers?”

Also, solar panels. Obama said the government was already “investing” in solar panels! That’s a total relief. This must be how the president who brought us “Recovery Summer” is going to dig us out of the second Great Depression.

But I do wonder why no private lender considered solar panels a wise investment, forcing solar panel manufacturers to turn to the government for loans, followed by endless tax credits just to break even.

I guess people who work for the government are just smarter. We’re so lucky to have them “investing” our money for us! Boy, egg must be on Warren Buffett’s face!

Remember how massive government “investments” gave rise to the telephone, the light bulb, the automobile, the airplane, the personal computer … OK, none of those.

But massive government expenditures did give us Amtrak and the TSA!

The only thing Obama vowed to cut were “earmarks.” Yippee!

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid though is Mad at Obama For it!

Senate Majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has a message for the president when it comes to his call for earmark elimination: “Back off.”

“It’s an effort by the White House to get more power. They’ve got enough power as it is.”

You just can’t write this kind of comedy. Imagine, The Senate Majority leader who was the instrument that crammed ObamaCare down your throat through unconstitutional and immoral tricks of procedure is complaining about government power reaching into his drug of choice!! Imagine that!! 🙂

Hilarious.

The guy with the ears is against earmarks. Yes, the same president who quadrupled our deficit by giving money away to his UAW pals, Wall Street cronies and government workers is now lecturing us about earmarks. This is a bit like being scolded by Charlie Sheen for ordering a second wine cooler (and the hooker).

You knew it was bad when John McCain leapt up and enthusiastically applauded. The last time I saw McCain applaud Obama like that was when he debated him. 🙂

Obama said, “We are the nation that put cars in driveways and computers in offices; the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers; of Google and Facebook.”

And then the government outlawed Edison’s great invention, made the Wright brothers’ air travel insufferable, filed anti-trust charges against Microsoft and made cars too expensive to drive by prohibiting oil exploration, and right now — at this very minute — is desperately trying to regulate the Internet.

On the bright side, President Al Gore would have actually outlawed the cars in those driveways.

I especially enjoyed his pitch for high-speed trains where you “don’t have to receive pat-downs.” At least until one of those Muslims who is “part of our American family” blows one up — at which point they’ll be staffed with armies of genital-fondling, unionized TSA agents on the public dime.

Still, I can’t wait for Obama’s America. An America where I can use lightning-fast, high-speed Internet to file electronically for my unemployment benefits. Or better yet, I can ditch my old “oil-powered” car and take a “sunlight and water”-powered high-speed train to the unemployment office for a change.

And I hear CalTech is working on biofuels to power “Recovery Summer 2011.”

The big laugh line was when Nero said mockingly, “I heard rumors that a few of you still have concerns about the health care law.” That’s called “60 percent of the American public.” It’s not a joke, and it’s not funny.

Here’s one: Hey, Obama! Guy walks into a bar in the Gaza Strip. The bartender says, “What’ll you have?” But the guy is killed instantly when an Iranian-made CT-28 missile strikes the bar, also killing a woman and small child next door. Get it, Obama? HA HA!

Synthesizing Karl Marx and Ronald Reagan, Obama said the government will soon be taking over every aspect of our lives, and Republicans can’t stop him — but gosh, isn’t America a great country! Teachers are great, we need to innovate, children are our future, we need paved roads, kids should do their homework, Labrador puppies are cute, I like apple pie, I (heart) Justin Bieber, and how about them Yankees! Now, here’s your 2011 tax bill — how would you like to pay for that?

Actually, I was glad to hear him say that “there isn’t a person here” — which presumably included Democrats — who would live anyplace else.

Then why are they always trying to turn us into Western Europe?

We see the problems in Greece, The Uk, Ireland and Portugal.

We see the train coming. But instead of getting out of the way of the train, the Democrats just want to “invest” in more tracks!!

START DADT DREAM & Big Sis Too!

Michael Ramirez Cartoon

Any time you kill a bloated, $1.27 trillion spending bill that includes more than 6,000 earmarks worth $8 billion, it’s a good day’s work. But as far as this lame-duck Congress is concerned, the work isn’t done.

And a bloated trillion dollar monster escaped.

As this is written, Reid and his congressional allies are trying to force votes on the Dream Act; the New START treaty; “don’t ask, don’t tell”; and a massive environmental bill — all in the final days of the year if not this very weekend before Christmas.

Got to get in that last Lame Duck Poison. Gotta push on and get as much of it injected as possible.

Screw the people. This is THE AGENDA we are talking about.

And nothing on earth is more important than THE AGENDA!

As a final insult to American voters, and virtually unnoticed by the media, Reid & Co. have rolled some 100 separate environmental bills into one — creating a giant land and private-property grab that again will have consequences well beyond the here and now.

Reid hasn’t even allowed this omnibus measure to be debated. And yet, as Landon Zida reported on the Heritage Foundation’s blog, the bill would “designate hundreds of thousands of acres of land under the control of federal government.” And all of it, as columnist Michelle Malkin has noted, with virtually no input. (IBD)

CRAM IT DOWN! CRAM IT DOWN! CRAM IT DOWN!

THE AGENDA UBER ALLES!!

The Democrats Christmas (politically incorrect)…Holiday Gift to all is to disarm our country against it’s enemies, give amnesty to illegals and to cram gays down your throat (even if you think the whole thing is silly) because these are the most important things in the universe to Liberals– THE AGENDA!

And they must get them in before Mommy & Daddy come home on Jan 5th and force them to clean up the mess they’ve made, kicking and screaming that it was someone else’s fault!

Meanwhile, Big Sis who’s I-can-see-you-naked Scanner have scientifically been proven to be incapable of detecting things like GUNS and a Border Patrol agent is killed by Mexican drug dealers on our own soil she’s gone all Al Gore!

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that her department is creating a new task force to battle the effects of climate change on domestic security operations.

Speaking at the first White House Forum on Environmental Justice on Thursday, Napolitano discussed the initial findings of the department’s recently created “Climate Change and Adaptation Task Force.”

Napolitano explained that the task force was charged with “identifying and assessing the impact that climate change could have on the missions and operations of the Department of Homeland Security.” (CNS)

The all day White House Forum on Environmental Justice also included talks by White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley, EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.

But don’t worry, they don’t have an AGENDA! 🙂

The two scientists most responsible for the development magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines used in hospitals have reached the conclusion that these currently deployed contraptions are not effective at preventing terrorists from carrying explosives aboard aircraft.

Basically, Leon Kaufman and Joseph W. Carlson, described as the “scientific genius” behind the MRIs, claim that TSA and the manufactureres, in order to show effectiveness, have biased the studies and left out known limitations of the machines.

Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Carlson showed less restraint in a peer-reviewed article posted online Nov. 26 by The Journal of Transportation Security. They created a computer model to simulate scanner operation and conclude an Islamic terrorist could easily sneak a large quantity of explosives past the device. “It is very likely that a large (15-20 cm in diameter), irregularly-shaped, cm-thick pancake with beveled edges, taped to the abdomen, would be invisible to this technology, ironically, because of its large volume, since it is easily confused with normal anatomy,” the study explains.

The researchers pointed out that the manufacturers of airport scanners positioned contraband like guns, knives and drugs in unnatural ways to conceal the limitations of their device. For example, the simulated drugs are always packed into tight rectangles that show up distinctly on the machine. TSA employees would have a far more difficult time spotting less tidy terrorists. “The eye is a good signal averager at certain spatial frequencies, but it is doubtful that an operator can be trained to detect these differences unless the material is hard-edged, not too large and regular shaped,” Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Carlson wrote.

Theirs is not the only such study. Last March the government’s own GAO reported that it was “unclear” whether airport scanners would have detected Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s botched Christmas Day underwear bombing attempt.

As TSA begins to touch more and more Americans in ways that they feel “ain’t right,” and more whole body scanners are deployed, the concerns of the public will increase. Even TSA officials admit that less that 10 percent of the flying public have faced a whole body scanner or an enhanced pat-down and there is already an uproar.

Add to that, radiation questions that are sure to emerge from these latest investigations and scientific evidence that the whole body scanner billion-dollar contraptions can’t spot a reasonably well-hidden bomb and TSA is going to have a growing problem.

But at least they can see yours! 🙂

And the Border will be made safe from Global Warming Threats!

And those nasty old Russians, Chinese and North Koreans won’t have to worry about our big stick because we’ll emasculate ourselves for them! Isn’t that nice of us.

But at at least we’ll have openly gay people in the military.

After all, that’s what’s MORE IMPORTANT.

All Hail THE AGENDA!!

All I Want For Christmas is My 6,488 Earmarks!

The Democrats have decided what they want for Christmas. Your front teeth and everything else you and the next several generations own.

They have stuffed their own stockings full of joy (for them).

They want to go out on a drug induced high.

They don’t care if Santa thinks they’ve been naughty.

THE LAST FEAST: 6,488 EARMARKS

$575.13 million per page

Political Cartoon

Senate Democrats have filed a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill that would fund the government through fiscal year 2011, according to Senate GOP sources.

Then there’s the DREAM ACT, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, etc. They are vastly more important than the debt or deficit!

And if we don’t get them, we’ll stay here until January 5th and hold our breath and turn blue until you kiss our buts!

The package drew a swift rebuke from Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee.

“The attempt by Democrat leadership to rush through a nearly 2,000-page spending bill in the final days of the lame-duck session ignores the clear will expressed by the voters this past election,” Thune said in a statement. “This bill is loaded up with pork projects and should not get a vote. Congress should listen to the American people and stop this reckless spending.

The Senate bill, though, boosts spending by $16 billion.

“We’re not through. Congress ends on Jan. 4,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat.

So we’ll keep you HOSTAGE until the very last second to pass our Agenda or else!

We are going to squeeze you and everyone else to the last possible second to get our Ideological Obsessions done whether you like it or not.

Screw the Elections! F*ck the Voters! Sh*t on going quietly into the night! Up Yours! 🙂

We want what we want and when we want it and we don’t give a crap about anything else!

Up Yours!

We love earmarked-to-your-death 2,000 page bills!

“Mr. President, at 12:15 p.m. this afternoon, my office received a copy of the omnibus appropriations bill. It is 1,924 pages long and contains the funding for all 12 of the annual appropriations bills for a grand total of over $1.1 Trillion. It is important to note that the 1,924 pages is only the legislative language and does not include the thousands of pages of report language which contain the details of the billions of dollars in earmarks and, I’m sure, countless policy riders.

“While we continue to uncover which earmarks the appropriators decided to fund – thanks to a new online database – we at least know what earmarks were requested by Members and how much those projects would cost the American people if they were all funded. Taxpayers against Earmarks, http://www.washingtonwatch.com and Taxpayers for Common Sense joined forces to create this database. According to the data they compiled – for fiscal year 2011 Members requested over 39,000 earmarks totaling over $130 billion. Absolutely disgraceful. I encourage every American to go to the website http://www.endingspending.com study it, and make yourselves aware of how your elected officials seek to spend your money.

“In the short time I’ve had to review this massive piece of legislation – I’ve identified approximately 6,488 earmarks totaling nearly $8.3 billion. Here is a small sample:

$277,000 for potato pest management in Wisconsin
$246,000 for bovine tuberculosis in Michigan and Minnesota
$522,000 for cranberry and blueberry disease and breeding in New Jersey
$500,000 for oyster safety in Florida
$349,000 for swine waste management in North Carolina
$413,000 for peanut research in Alabama
$247,000 for virus free wine grapes in Washington
$208,000 beaver management in North Carolina
$94,000 for blackbird management in Louisiana
$165,000 for maple syrup research in Vermont
$235,000 for noxious weed management in Nevada
$100,000 for the Edgar Allen Poe Cottage Visitor’s Center in New York
$300,000 for the Polynesian Voyaging Society in Hawaii
$400,000 for solar parking canopies and plug-in electric stations in Kansas

“Additionally, the bill earmarks $727,000 to compensate ranchers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan whenever endangered wolves eat their cattle. As my colleagues know, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Gray Wolf program is under intense scrutiny for wasting millions of taxpayer dollars every year to ‘recover’ endangered wolves that are now overpopulating the West and Midwest. My State of Arizona has a similar wolf program but ranchers in my state aren’t getting $727,000 in this bill.

“Mr. President, I will have much more to say about this bill later this week. I assure my colleagues – we will spend a great deal of time talking about this bill and the outrageous number of earmarks it contains. But for now let me just say this: it is December 14th – we are 22 days away from the beginning of a new Congress and nearly three full months into fiscal year 2011 – and yet we have not debated a single spending bill or considered any amendments to cut costs or get our debt under control. Furthermore, the majority decided that they just didn’t feel like doing a budget this year. How is that responsible leadership?

“This is the ninth omnibus appropriations bill we have considered in this body since 2000. That is shameful and we should be embarrassed by the fact that we care so little about doing the people’s business that we continuously put off fulfilling our constitutional responsibilities until the very last minute.

“One thing is abundantly clear to me – that the majority has not learned the lessons of last month’s election. The American people could not have been more clear. They are tired of wasteful spending. They are tired of big government. They are tired of sweetheart deals for special interests. They are tired of business as usual in Washington. And they are tired of massive bills – just like this one – put together behind closed doors, and rammed through the Congress at the last moment so that no one has the opportunity to read them and no one really knows what kind of waste is in them.

“Let me be clear about one thing – if the Majority Leader insists on proceeding to this monstrosity – the American people will know what’s in it. I will be joined by many of my colleagues on this side of the aisle to ensure that every single word of this bill is read aloud here on the Senate floor.

“I encourage my friends on the other side of the aisle to rethink their strategy and move forward with a short-term continuing resolution to fund the government into next year when a new Congress takes over – a Congress that was elected by the American people on November 2nd. “The majority may be able to strong arm enough members into voting for this omnibus – but they will not win in the end. The American people will remember – and I predict that we will see a repeat of November 2nd in the very near future.” (Sen. John McCain)

OBAMACARE UPDATE

The newest defense of the Health Care Mandate: Auto Insurance!

They are not even remotely the same thing.

I wrote a blog about this 15 months ago when they trotted this crap out the last time: https://indyfromaz.wordpress.com/2009/10/01/the-bad-analogy/

But let me just hit you with Point#1 that blows the whole argument to pieces in seconds:

If you don’t have a car, you don’t need or are required by law to have auto insurance!

Just try that under Obama’s Health Care. You’ll be hearing the jackboots of the IRS stomping on your face very soon…

Q.E.D. 🙂

And these are supposed to be bright people?

They are, but their Ideology is so far up their arse that it has throttled their brainpower.

And they don’t care, because they are vastly superior to you!

Chicken for The Holidays,Anyone?

Thomas Sowell:

Another deficit reduction commission has now made its recommendations. My own recommendation for dealing with deficits would include stopping the appointment of deficit reduction commissions.

It is not the amount of money that these commissions cost that is the issue. It is the escape hatch that they provide for big-spending politicians.

Do you go ahead and spend the rent money and the food money– and then ask somebody else to tell you how to escape the consequences?

If President Obama or the Congress were serious about keeping the deficit down, they could have had this commission’s recommendations before they spent hundreds of billions of dollars, handing out goodies hither and yon to their pet constituencies.

I don’t know why people agree to serve on these bipartisan commissions, which save the political hides of the big spenders after they have run up huge deficits. Back in the 1950s, there was a saying: “If you didn’t invite me to the take-off, don’t invite me to the crash landing.”

Deficit commissions make it politically possible to spend money first and get somebody else to recommend raising taxes later. They are a virtual guarantee of never-ending increases in both spending and taxes.

Why provide political cover? Leave the big spenders out there naked in front of the voters! Either the elected officials will change their ways or the voters can change the officials they elect.

There is no special information or wisdom available to unelected deficit commissions that is not available to elected officials. Nor are they more far-seeing than politicians.

Cutting defense spending to save money? That is one of the oldest moves in the liberal play book. Some soldiers may pay with their lives for this, but that could be years from now– and after the next election, which is as far as most politicians think.

The biggest immediate tax issue is whether the Bush tax cuts will be extended for everyone. Here, as elsewhere in politics, sheer hogwash reigns supreme.

Nancy Pelosi claims that the “tax cuts for the rich” cannot be continued because it would be “too costly.” Although former Republican Majority Leader Dick Armey says, “Demagoguery beats data” in politics, here are some data anyway.

The first big cut in income taxes came in the 1920s, at the urging of Secretary of the Treasury Andrew Mellon. He argued that a reduction of the tax rates would increase the tax revenues. What actually happened?

In 1920, when the top tax rate was 73 percent, for people making over $100,000 a year, the federal government collected just over $700 million in income taxes– and 30 percent of that was paid by people making over $100,000. After a series of tax cuts brought the top rate down to 24 percent, the federal government collected more than a billion dollars in income tax revenue– and people making over $100,000 a year now paid 65 percent of the taxes.

How could that be? The answer is simple: People behave differently when tax rates are high as compared to when they are low. With low tax rates, they take their money out of tax shelters and put it to work in the economy, benefitting themselves, the economy and government, which collects more money in taxes because incomes rise.

High tax rates which very few people are actually paying, because of tax shelters, do not bring in as much revenue as lower tax rates that people are paying. It was much the same story after tax cuts during the Kennedy administration, the Reagan administration and the Bush Administration.

The New York Times reported in 2006: “An unexpectedly steep rise in tax revenues from corporations and the wealthy is driving down the projected budget deficit this year.”

Expectations are in the eyes of the beholder– and in the rhetoric of the demagogues. If class warfare is more important to some politicians than collecting more revenue when there is a deficit, then let the voters know that.

And spare us so-called “deficit reduction commissions.”

Political Cartoon by Bob Gorrell

Or my take, it was “I’m too chicken” so we’ll let someone propose solutions, take the heat, then we can shoot them down as too extreme and then continue doing what we have always done knowing we avoided those “extreme” examples and we can play act at doing something meaningful but not actually do anything for real.

Only, the Tea Partiers like me aren’t that stupid and inattentive. Which is why the media and the Democrats will have to go after them as “extremists” and “lunatics” and “crazy” as they have for since last summer when it all began.

Some in the Republican establishment, the old boys spending club, may join in on the chorus just because they like the way it has been, for them. Think of all that pork. The favors. The graft. The power…

But if you want to know what inflation is truly like see: http://www.westegg.com/inflation/

That $100,000 in 1920 mentioned above in Thomas Sowell’s editorial piece is  $1,061,696.17 in 2009.

That me old mates is 1000% inflation in the 90 years since the Progressive Liberals first dreamed of Obama’s Utopia.

But now instead of Millionaires, their class warfare line in the sand is $250,000.

Below it is, “Middle Class”. Above it ‘evil’ “rich”.

Notice, they don’t say “poor”. 🙂 because they leave that for later when they divide the middle class up over other things.

FYI: by the calculator $250,000 in 2000 when Satan (GWB) was elected and that same amount in 2009 is $308,391.49 which 18% .

So does 250,000 really constitute “rich” or was this just a line the Liberal decided on arbitrarily like throwing a dart, and then it became a mantra so that if you tell it often enough it becomes true?

You decide.

There are hard, nasty, very unpopular choices to be made. And a “commission” is a political game of chicken. Period.

Man up Congress. You made the mess. The people helped you create the mess. Now you have fix it.

Or Else.

Oh, and 1/1/11 is approaching very fast….
