The New Terrorists

Democrat Civility:

NY Times: You know what they say: Never negotiate with terrorists. It only encourages them.
These last few months, much of the country has watched in horror as the Tea Party Republicans have waged jihad on the American people. Their intransigent demands for deep spending cuts, coupled with their almost gleeful willingness to destroy one of America’s most invaluable assets, its full faith and credit, were incredibly irresponsible. But they didn’t care. Their goal, they believed, was worth blowing up the country for, if that’s what it took. Like ideologues everywhere, they scorned compromise.

They just proposed solutions and the Democrats refused to vote on it and the President threatened to veto it!

But don’t worry, the Liberal media will ignore this inflammatory language or at the least agree with it and pass it on.

So we’re back to the Summer of ’09 where people who disagree with Democrats are “domestic terrorists” and the this hyper-partisan over-the-top hyperbole will not be challenged by “the media” because they either agree with it or just have no interest in challenging it.

Just as they did with the much-loathed bank bailout, which most Republicans spurned even though financial calamity loomed, the Democrats will do the responsible thing. Apparently, that’s their problem.

For now, the Tea Party Republicans can put aside their suicide vests. But rest assured: They’ll have them on again soon enough. After all, they’ve gotten so much encouragement.

Really, once you’ve gone the “suicide bomber” route to describe political opponents with budget disagreements you haven’t left yourself much wiggle room for future demagoguery. You’re already all-in.

And how do you “compromise”? 🙂

After accusing the Tea Party of being racist, sexist, homophobic, stupid, fake, and violent Timothy McVeigh prototypes, you’d think that the well of insults would be getting dry. In his Boston Globe column “Screaming Extremism,” Neal Gabler, however, manages to find a new one: The Tea Party is like al-Qaeda. His comparison reveals the left’s upside-down vision of both the Tea Party and the threat of terrorism.

Gabler doesn’t argue that the Tea Party is striving for a global Islamic caliphate, or that Osama bin Laden is a small-government libertarian. It’s nothing so simplistic as comparing the goals of two political movements. Rather, the Tea Party and al-Qaeda are alike in their methods: Both are “extremists” who try to be, in Gabler’s metaphor, the loudest voice at the cocktail party:

To assure yourself of attention, you have to do something so startling that you effectively stop the conversation altogether. In effect, you have to blow up the World Trade Center, or paint the streets in human blood as protesters in Thailand recently did, or threaten lawmakers and even spit on them as the Tea Partiers did, or call President Obama a traitor or a Hitler. You have to be an extremist. (

Could Tea Party Rhetoric Lead to Another Oklahoma City? (CBS NEWS Headline on 4/19/11)

CBS News Headline 4/14/11: Tea Party Supporters: Who They Are and What They Believe

First Paragraph: They’re white. They’re older. And they’re angry.

Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) on the Debt “negotiations”:

“We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”

Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) called seemed to enjoy the heat analogy, saying: “the Tea Partiers and the GOP have made their slash and burn lunacy clear, and while I do not love this compromise, my vote is a hose to stop the burning. The arsonists must be stopped. (Politico)

So do you think you can “compromise” with these people?

Do you think these people will take the $14,300,000,000,000 Debt seriously??

If they think any spending cuts hurts poor people and you’re a “terrorist” if you disagree is their capacity for “compromise” or “civility”?

Vice President Joe Biden ignited an international incident today when he called the Tea Party “terrorists,” causing the leader of al-Qaeda to demand an apology.

Just moments after Mr. Biden made his controversial remark, al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri appeared in a video to condemn the comment, which the terrorist called “hurtful.”

“I demand that the Vice President take back his offensive comment immediately,” Mr. al-Zawahiri said in the video, broadcast on Al-Jazeera.  “It has been very bad for our brand.”

Mr. Biden attempted to clarify his remark later in the day, telling reporters, “I in no way intended to insult the members of al-Qaeda.”

“Both al-Qaeda and the Tea Party tried to destroy the U.S. economy,” Mr. Biden elaborated.  “But in fairness to al-Qaeda, the Tea Party came a lot closer.” (Borowitz)

Get the idea yet?

It came to me in an epiphany that the Tea “Party” is  simply America’s Al-Qaeda.

The Tea “Party”, like Al-Qeada, advocates killing leaders with whom they disagree (see Nevada). The Tea “Party”, like Al-Qeada, hates homosexuals and women who think outside of their “family values”.

The Tea “Party”, like Al-Qaeda, is willing to use hate and lies and half truths to make its points. The Tea “Party” leaders use the media to show how successful they are by publishing false pictures of their gatherings (thanks Glenn Beck). The Tea “Party” has no purpose except like Al-Qaeda to overthrow the US Government and assure the failure of the present US President and our Country.

My conclusion – the Tea “Party” is America’s Al-Qaeda! (Progressive Columist Steve Ybarra)

So next time you see a Tea Partier, remember the words of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napalitano  for terrorism: “If You See Something, Say Something”

Call your local Thought Police and report the anti-american behavior. It’s your patriotic duty… 🙂

We are from the Government and we are here to Protect your from Tea Party Terrorists!! 🙂

The Setup

You want to know how the Democrats are going to try and beat the wrap of their cram down of Health Care “reform”?

Racism and Terrorism.

Much like the 2008 Presidential campaign you will be a racist if you don’t accept the cram down.

It’s a Civil Rights issue after all. 😦

And only racists are against Civil Rights.

The left likes to conveniently forget that more Democrats than Republicans were against the Civil Rights movement.

And the Amnesty crowd is going there too.

Then, we have Terrorism.

I have already been tarred with this one more than once already.

It goes like this.

You are are a threat to the power structure. You advocate overthrowing the  rightful power structure (in their view)

So you must be a “domestic terrorist” simply for disagreeing with the almighty Leftist Liberals.

You are violent.

You will go all Columbine or Austin on them.

They have to be protected themselves  from your violent wrath.

Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.): “Our democracy is about participation,” Hoyer said. “Our democracy is about differing and debate and animated debate and passionate debate. But it is not about violence.”

So that’s why they met in closed door sessions, shut out the Republicans, bribed and intimidated members, and any actual real debate and schemed how to get this passed by circumventing as many rules as possible and ultimately saying to the people of this country, “Screw you. We’re going to do it anyways”.

Yeah, right.

But this is not the first time this has happened. Nancy Pelosi last summer warned people of the violence of the Tea Party movement that was hounding them at that time.

And remember Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napalitano filing a report that said the greatest threat to this country wasn’t radical muslims, but “right-wingers” and the returning military personnel.

So be prepared to be both a “racist” and a “Domestic Terrorist” if you dare disagree with the Almighty, All Powerful OZ (aka the Left).

This is what the left does.

They don’t debate.

They dismiss, demean, or destroy.

Saul Alinsky Chicago Politics.

And they have the Former Fourth Estate, now Fifth Column, Ministry of Truth (aka Mainstream Media) aiding and abetting their efforts.

“I know many Americans are angry over this health-care bill, and that Washington Democrats just aren’t listening,” Boehner told Fox News Channel. “But, as I’ve said, violence and threats are unacceptable. That’s not the American way. We need to take that anger and channel it into positive change. Call your congressman, go out and register people to vote, go volunteer on a political campaign, make your voice heard — but let’s do it the right way.”

Some Democrats, sensing a political opportunity, suggested that Republicans were fanning the anger with their fiery comments in recent days. Several GOP lawmakers stood on the speaker’s balcony at the Capitol overlooking a tea party protest last weekend holding up signs that read “Kill the Bill.” Below them, protesters were yelling “No! No! No!” and, referring to the House speaker, “Nancy, you will burn in hell for this!”

One columnist even suggested that the State lawsuits against the bill are anti-bellum pre-Civil War era arguments, like the “State’s Rights” slogan of the South before and during the Civil War.

Yes, they will go there.

So, if your State objects to the Federal Mandate on Insurance, you’re akin to the Confederate South who didn’t want to be told to free it’s slaves!

Yes, Virginia, they will most certainly say or do anything to conquer you.

Free Speech anyone….

IBD:  Those who say “it can’t happen here” to the bully-boy tactics that prevent “hate speech” in Canada haven’t been paying attention. It does happen here, the First Amendment notwithstanding.

You don’t have to love what Ann Coulter says, or the incendiary way she says it, to be on the side of the best-selling conservative author when it comes to the blatant discrimination she suffered north of the border this week.

Left-wing demonstrators at the University of Ottawa made it impossible for Coulter to speak there Tuesday night.

But the menacing crowd might have been small enough to handle had it not been stirred up by a high-profile e-mail warning to Coulter by the school’s provost, Francois Houle, last Friday.

Houle invited her “to educate yourself, if need be, as to what is acceptable in Canada and to do so before your planned visit here.”

Coulter turned the tables, announcing she will file a complaint with Canada’s Human Rights Commission alleging hate speech, charging Houle’s warning unfairly singled her out as a conservative, a Christian and a woman.

She’s only the latest victim of Canadian intolerance. Columnist Mark Steyn, who frequently appears in IBD, was dragged into a government investigation after a Muslim group complained about an excerpt from his book “America Alone” in Maclean’s magazine in 2006. Steyn had argued the West was suffering “civilizational exhaustion” in the face of a demographic threat from Muslims.

The Ontario Human Rights Commission dropped the case, but condemned Steyn. So did the Canadian Human Rights Commission, issuing a public letter defending “reasonable limits on the expression of hatred.” Canada’s media were mostly AWOL in defending Steyn from their rulers.

Ottawa’s leftist students celebrated keeping Coulter’s “discriminatory rhetoric” off their campus. But how widely can that, or “hate speech,” be defined? Coulter once sarcastically told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly that she didn’t think of the murder of abortionist Dr. George Tiller “as a murder. It was terminating Tiller in the 203rd trimester.” Would Canada’s hate censors not allow that?

We may think, with a First Amendment south of the border, we don’t have to worry. But we do. It was only a slim 5-to-4 majority that in January threw out the McCain-Feingold law banning political speech over the airwaves too close to an election date.

And politicians of the left are eager to re-impose the so-called Fairness Doctrine regulating broadcasters’ content.

Just as “hate” can be defined to suit those in power, so can the First Amendment itself.

And their is talk that one of the Supreme Court Justices may step down, making it a Liberal Left court.

So “hate speech” could easily be defined as that which disagrees with those in power (aka the Left).

You say, they’d never go that far.

I say why wouldn’t they.

After all, if the end justifies the means, what stops them from going there to intimidate, thwart, and crush opposition to their desires?

Certainly not any morals or ethics.

The End justifies the means.

Think about that for a moment.

Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid.

Whining in Good Faith

There is an old axiom, you’re not paranoid if they really are out to get you.

The New Boy Scouts

FYI: This has been going on for a year by the way.

NYTimes 2009:

Ten minutes into arrant mayhem in this town near the Mexican border, and the gunman, a disgruntled Iraq war veteran, has already taken out two people, one slumped in his desk, the other covered in blood on the floor.// The responding officers — eight teenage boys and girls, the youngest 14 — face tripwire, a thin cloud of poisonous gas and loud shots — BAM! BAM! — fired from behind a flimsy wall. They move quickly, pellet guns drawn and masks affixed.

“United States Border Patrol! Put your hands up!” screams one in a voice cracking with adolescent determination as the suspect is subdued.

It is all quite a step up from the square knot.

The Explorers program, a coeducational affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America that began 60 years ago, is training thousands of young people in skills used to confront terrorism, illegal immigration and escalating border violence — an intense ratcheting up of one of the group’s longtime missions to prepare youths for more traditional jobs as police officers and firefighters.

“This is about being a true-blooded American guy and girl,” said A. J. Lowenthal, a sheriff’s deputy here in Imperial County, whose life clock, he says, is set around the Explorers events he helps run. “It fits right in with the honor and bravery of the Boy Scouts.”

The training, which leaders say is not intended to be applied outside the simulated Explorer setting, can involve chasing down illegal border crossers as well as more dangerous situations that include facing down terrorists and taking out “active shooters,” like those who bring gunfire and death to college campuses. In a simulation here of a raid on a marijuana field, several Explorers were instructed on how to quiet an obstreperous lookout.

“Put him on his face and put a knee in his back,” a Border Patrol agent explained. “I guarantee that he’ll shut up.”

What about “Right wing Extremists”?? 🙂

Hitler Youth anyone??

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters Tuesday that Republicans “should stop crying” about the possible use of the parliamentary procedure known as budget reconciliation to pass a health care reform bill.

Under reconciliation, Democrats would need a simple majority in the Senate to pass legislation, as opposed to the 60 votes needed to break a filibuster.
“They should stop crying about reconciliation as if it’s never been done before,” Reid said.

“The question is: Is reconciliation the only way we can do health-care reform?” he said. “The answer to that is no. But I’ve been told that my Republican friends are lamenting reconciliation, but I would recommend for them to go back and look at history.”(CBS)

“It’s done almost every Congress, and they’re the ones that used it more than anyone else,” he added.

But what was it used for:

You’ll find Food stamps, welfare, tax cuts, COBRA, Ordered the sale of Conrail, Made minor changes to Medicare hospital provisions, Other medicare and Medicaid changes, previous paygo provision, Clinton’s welfare reforms, etc.

The Democrats are only obsessed with Bush’s tax cuts. Before that they can’t see anything.

And the context is not important to them.

It’s more Liberal excess dismissed as nothing special.

It has never been used to subvert the process like the Democrats still want to.

And tomorrow Obama is going to have his reportedly 6 hour Infomercial, but he wants to hear the Republicans ideas.

These would be the ideas he’s been ignoring for the last year.

So he’ll have his Liberal Media pundits red meat soundbite conference, then proclaim the Republicans didn’t take it seriously so we’re going ahead with MY plan.

Yes, he is that arrogant.

President Obama presented a new health care plan on Monday that calls for raising the Medicare payroll tax on some households earning less than $250,000, an apparent breach of his campaign pledge not to raise taxes on families earning less than that amount. The president’s plan also calls for increasing taxes on interest, dividends, annuities, royalties and rents.(CNS)

In his own press availability Tuesday, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said “it appears as if the administration has already made up their mind to go forward with a beefed up Senate version and to try to jam it through under a seldom-used process that we commonly refer to around here as reconciliation.”

Republican Whip Sen. Jon Kyl told reporters that “it’s hard for us to quite understand why, with reconciliation being planned, we’re having a meeting [Thursday] which is allegedly designed to engender some bipartisan agreement for a way forward.”

“It seems to me at least that, until the Democratic leaders take reconciliation off the table, it’ll be very hard for Republicans to believe that they intend to engage us in good faith,” Kyl added.

That’s the rub.

There is no “Good Faith”.

But complain too much and you could be labeled a “disgruntled” “Right wing extremist” and they’ll send the Boy scouts to take you down… 🙂
