For The Children

“Members of gay and lesbian couples with children have been found to divide the work involved in childcare evenly, and to be satisfied with their relationships with their partners,” says this APA (American Psychological Association) policy statement the administration cited to the court. “The results of some studies suggest that lesbian mothers’ and gay fathers’ parenting skills may be superior to those of matched heterosexual parents. There is no scientific basis for concluding that lesbian mothers or gay fathers are unfit parents on the basis of their sexual orientation.”

Our Agenda is superior to all of human history, not to brag or anything… 🙂

“Studies of other aspects of personal development (including personality, self-concept, and conduct) similarly reveal few differences between children of lesbian mothers and children of heterosexual parents,” says the APA policy statement. “However, few data regarding these concerns are available for children of gay fathers.”

So far in the history of the human race, no child has ever been born without a biological father and mother. Now, in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Executive Branch of the federal government is arguing that, regardless of the biological facts of parenthood, states have no legitimate and defenisble interest in ensuring that children conceived by a mother and a father are in fact raised by mothers and fathers.

The brief that the Justice Department presented to the Supreme Court discussed children only as items controlled by others, not as individual human beings who have God-given rights of their own. It simply assumes that a child has no inherent right to a mother or father and that the only right truly in question is whether two people of the same-sex have a right to marry one another and that that right encompasses a right to adopt and foster-raise children.

To take this view and be consistent with the principles of the Declaration of Independence—which recognizes the ultimate authority of the “Laws of Nature and Nature’s God” and says that “all men are created equal” and “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”—the Obama Justice Department must advance the assumption that natural law and Nature’s God give children no right to a mother and father and no right not to be legally handed over by the government to be raised by same-sex couples. (CNS)

After all, there’s is the superior Agenda and anything else just makes you a BIGOT.

The Government is The Parent of all who live under it’s roof. It provides all. You must bow down to it. It is supreme.

Children are props for the future of The Agenda. They are to be raised to praise The Agenda. To never question The Agenda. To never even conceive of questioning the Agenda And to be repelled by the very notion of rebellion against The Agenda.

In 1984 the party is constantly brainwashing the people of Oceania (America) . They are trying to make them believe that the party is wonderful, that Big Brother is amazing and that everyone should love, and be loyal, only to the party. The way the party brainwashes people is quite effective. They start young, the spies, the youth leagues, these are all ways for them to get to children, to get them on their side, to turn them into obedient little party members. The Spies reminds me a great deal of the Hitler Youth. They have the same philosophy, grab them when they’re young and impressionable, and then stuff them so full of propaganda that they believe what ever you tell them.

You see the effects of this childhood brainwashing in Julia. She has been subjected to the party’s propaganda all of her life and in some ways she is far more immune to it than Winston, but in other ways she believes just what they want her to. Julia says that if you follow the important rules, go to the rallies and marches and such, you can break the little rules without worrying too much. Winston on the other hand, before he met Julia, would just as soon skip his evening at the community centre as go and be an obedient party member. However Julia doesn’t seem to have a problem with the way the party changes the past. How really there is no concrete past only a constantly changing present. She seems to think it is inevitable and nothing particularly important, where as Winston is terrified by it.

There are other reasons for having organizations like the spies. When the party gathers children into groups like the spies they are creating a network of miniature thought police. Once they have been taught to believe the party knows all they are no longer loyal to anyone but them. Children will willingly denounce their family members to the thought police. That is the ultimate horror to have your own children betray you.(1984 Blog spot)

“Nearly all children nowadays were horrible. What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything connected with it… All their ferocity was turned outwards, against the enemies of the State, against foreigners, traitors, saboteurs, thought-criminals. It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children.”
― George Orwell, 1984

For they are “tolerant”, “diverse” Liberals who just want “equality” for all. As long as you do and think EXACTLY what they want you to do and to think, that is. 🙂

Agree with me or else!

A Lesson in Political Correctness

More “tolerance” and “diversity” from the Left. The hammer of Big Brother…

It wasn’t so much a choice as it was a demand.

Chaplain David Wells was told he could either sign a state-mandated document promising to never tell inmates that homosexuality is “sinful” or else the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice would revoke his credentials.

“We could not sign that paper,” Chaplain Wells told me in a telephone call from his home in Kentucky. “It broke my heart.”

The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice revoked his volunteer credentials as an ordained minister – ending 13 years of ministry to underage inmates at the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

“We sincerely appreciate your years of service and dedication to the youth served by this facility,” wrote Superintendent Gene Wade in a letter to Wells. “However, due to your decision, based on your religious convictions, that you cannot comply with the requirements outlined in DJJ Policy 912, Section IV, Paragraph H, regarding the treatment of LGBTQI youth, I must terminate your involvement as a religious volunteer.”

The Left has added some new letters to their Political Correctness: LGBTQI apparently stands for “ lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersexed community”.

Naturally, there’s even a Politically correct dictionary it appears:

http://www.lgbt.ucla.edu/documents/LGBTTerminology.pdf

And whole University Departments:

The Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Life at Vanderbilt University is a cultural center and a place of affirmation for individuals of all identities, and a resource for information and support about gender and sexuality. The Office of LGBTQI Life serves all members of the Vanderbilt community — students, faculty, staff, and alumni — by creating educational, cultural, and social opportunities. The office also supports and advises LGBTQI-related campus groups and activities.

INTERSEX: Intersex is a set of medical conditions that feature congenital anomaly of the reproductive and sexual system. That is, intersex people are born with “sex chromosomes,” external genitalia, or internal reproductive systems that are not considered “standard” for either male or female. The existence of intersexuals shows that there are not just two sexes and that our ways of thinking about sex (trying to force everyone to fit into either the male box or the female box) is socially constructed.

But here’s the more telling definition on Vanderbilt’s website and speaks directly to the Christian ‘problem’.

ALLY: Someone who advocates for and supports members of a community other than their own. Reaching across differences to achieve mutual goals.

As long as you’re not a Christians I’m betting, because they are proselytizing bigots after all.

Wells said that every volunteer in their church received the letter – as did a Baptist church in a nearby community.

The Kentucky regulation clearly states that volunteers working with juveniles “shall not refer to juveniles by using derogatory language in a manner that conveys bias towards or hatred of the LGBTQI community. DJJ staff, volunteers, interns and contractors shall not imply or tell LGBTQI juveniles that they are abnormal, deviant, sinful or that they can or should change their sexual orientation or gender identity.”

For years, Wells and his team have conducted volunteer worship services and counseling to troubled young people – many of whom have been abused.

“I sat across the table from a 16-year-old boy who was weeping and broken over the life he was in,” Wells said. “He had been abused as a child and turned to alcohol and drugs to cope. He wanted to know if there was any hope for him.”

Wells said he had been abused as a young child – so he knew he could answer this young man’s question.

“I was able to look at him and tell him the saving power of Jesus Christ that delivered me – could deliver him,” he said.

But under the state’s 2014 anti-discrimination policy, Wells would not be allowed to have such a discussion should it delve into LGBT issues.

“They told us we could not preach that homosexuality is a sin – period,” Wells told me. “We would not have even been able to read Bible verses that dealt with LGBT issues.”

For the record, Wells said they’ve never used hateful or derogatory comments when dealing with the young inmates.

But Politically Incorrect…The Ministry of Truth has decreed!

“They are defining hateful or derogatory as meaning what the Bible says about homosexuality,” he told me.

You can preach Christianity, just leave your beliefs at the door. 🙂

Tomoba had this to say in the comments on the article: “Although the ‘purge’ is fake, I wish it was not. Put the primitives on a leash, and let the rest of humanity advance. “

Mat Staver, the founder of Liberty Counsel, is representing Wells. He said the state’s ban on Biblical counseling is unconstitutional religious discrimination.

You expect the Politically Correct to care about that? Why??

“There is no question there is a purging underway,” Staver told me. “The dissenters in the recent Supreme Court decision on gay marriage warned us this would happen.”

Yes, we did. 🙂

Staver is demanding the state immediately reinstate Wells as well as the other volunteer ministers.

“By restricting speech which volunteers are allowed to use while ministering to youth detainees, the State of Kentucky and the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice have violated the protections given to private speech through the First Amendment and the Kentucky Constitution,” Staver wrote in his letter to state officials.

And they File 13’d it as “hateful” and “discriminatory”.

Discrimination is now the Liberal buzz word for “you disagree with me”. So you must be punished for that.

He said the policy “requires affirmation of homosexuality as a precondition for ministers providing spiritual guidance to troubled youth, and singles out a particular theological viewpoint as expressly disfavored by the State of Kentucky.”

And the Politically Correct Overlords at The Ministry of Liberal Truth.

In other words – Kentucky has a religious litmus test when it comes to homosexuality – and according to the Lexington Herald-Leader – they aren’t going to back down.

Why would they? They are Holy Warriors in their own heads.

The DJJ told the newspaper that the regulation “is neutral as to religion and requires respectful language toward youth by all staff, contractors and volunteers.”

“respectful” aka Politically Correct.

State Sen. Gerald Neal, a Democrat, dared Christians to challenge the law in court.

“I’m just disappointed that the agendas by some are so narrow that they disregard the rights of others,” he told the newspaper. “Let them sue and let the courts settle it.”

And let the Liberal justices throw it out, based on that very same narrow minded agenda.

Among those backing Wells is the American Pastors Network.

“Pastors and all Americans must wake up to the reality of expanding efforts to cleanse our nation of all moral truth,” APN President Sam Rohrer said in a statement. “When pastors and all Christians…are forced by government agents to renounce sharing the very reality of sin, they are in fact being prohibited from sharing the healing and life-changing potential of redemption.”

Folks, I warned you this would happen. The Christian purge has begun – and it’s only a matter of time before all of us will be forced to make the same decision Chaplain Wells had to make.

Will you follow God or the government?  (FOX)

Now that’s Pro-Choice! 🙂

The New Rules

We conservatives have spent far too long playing by the old rules when liberals have completely changed the game. There was a time when laws meant what they said, when individual rights were important, when the government did not make it its business to oppress the executive’s ideological opponents, and when principles mattered. But that time has passed.

There’s a new set of rules, and while we don’t have control in Washington right now, we do have control most everywhere else – and someday a conservative will be president again. So there is no reason not to get going right now playing by the same rules the liberals do!

Of course, first we need to understand the basis of the new rules – it’s about having the moral courage to obtain and keep power. Until now, we conservatives have been guided by “principles” and “values” that only serve to distract us from what’s really important. Under the new rules, we will no longer let arbitrary ideas about how America should work get in the way of maximizing our ability to exercise our authority over others. After all, our supremacy is a moral imperative.

We will step beyond obsolete notions about process and embrace the primacy of results. We will stop treating “means” and “ends” like they are distinct and different – as 1984 (Read it – lots of great tactics, techniques and procedures!) teaches, “Power is not a means; it is an end.” Means and ends will flow together seamlessly, and we will stop getting hung-up on how we do things and focus on the real goal under the new rules – consolidating our power for the greater good.

Take the law. Under the old rules, judges were constrained by the plain meaning of the text, but that is far too restrictive. Words must mean what we need them to mean, no more and no less. We have to appoint judges who won’t prattle on about “judicial restraint” and “not legislating from the bench,” and who will reliably rule exactly how we need them to rule on each and every case. Let’s appoint judges, who understand that their purpose is to rationalize rulings that support our policy priorities, not seek some “legally correct” decision that might not. The law of the land is whatever we want it to be!

We should celebrate Judge Robert’s recent Obamacare decision – it was liberating! He made it clear that when we want a different result, we don’t have to be deterred by the fact that the law means exactly the opposite. He affirmed that judges should interpret statutes – and the Constitution too – based upon a subjective desire for a particular outcome. Think of the possibilities for conservative progress if we aren’t hamstrung by some inconvenient text in a statute or the literal meaning of the words on some ancient parchment!

Where we have control of law enforcement, we have another great opportunity to play by the new rules. There are all sorts of liberal organizations out there shamelessly advocating policies and ideas we disapprove of. As we have learned, we can turn the power of the government upon them to root out this wrongdoing. We do not need to bother with accusing them of any kind of specific crime – why should we restrict our investigations to clear violations of laws? Instead, we can launch fishing expeditions to see what we can dig up – and even if there’s nothing, well, remember that the process is the punishment. Regardless, it’s important to establish that our political opponents will pay a price for presuming to oppose us.

And, naturally, when our allies are accused of breaking the law, we just ignore it. There needs to be two sets of laws – one for us, and one for everyone else. Otherwise, we might be constrained from doing what we please.

And there are other opportunities a huge government can provide us. Beyond audits and blocking vital certifications, the IRS has plenty of juicy information on every American – we can selectively release it to intimidate those who do not support us. And when we get a hold of everyone’s medical records under Obamacare – wow! What an opportunity!

Of course, there will not be any Obamacare. Oh, technically it might be hard to repeal (though getting rid of the filibuster entirely will make it much easier!), but who needs to repeal it when we can just choose not to enforce it? Our next president simply has to instruct the rest of the executive branch that they will not be taking any action with regard to implementing Obamacare, not collecting any of its taxes (they are taxes this week, right?) and not enforcing any of its mandates. Understand that we won’ be refusing to carry out the law – we’ll just be focusing on different executive priorities!

Perhaps the mainstream media will speak up, at least at first. But, you know, the New York Times, NBC and the rest really seem to have way too much power over our national conversation. It just isn’t fair how these big companies drown out the voices of regular people. Heck, these corporate entities are not even people and certainly should not have rights like people do to speak freely and so forth. They are more of a public utility, and frankly, they have not been serving the public good. That’s why we will use the FCC to take charge and oversee the shamefully deregulated mainstream media. We especially need some sort of doctrine to ensure fairness that forces the Washington Post and CNN to give a fair hearing to conservative ideas, religious views, and traditional values.

You know, there’s been a lot of bigotry against conservatives, religious people, and traditional Americans, and it is time the government took action by concentrating its anti-discrimination efforts on those spewing hate against them. We will have to root out policies and practices that result in such prejudice. Step one is focusing on colleges, where hate against normal Americans runs amok. Colleges that refuse to conform will lose their funding and tax exempt status – oh, and we will be taxing excessive endowments too. Schools like liberal Harvard have billions socked away, money that could be better used serving working Americans’ priorities than those of wealthy college administrators.

And speaking of billions, Hollywood and the entertainment industry need our attention. They spew out a tremendous amount of hate against conservatives, religious people, and traditional Americans, and that kind of intolerance simply cannot be tolerated. We’ll need to take action under the discrimination laws to punish the kind of offensive words and portrayals that make normal Americans feel unsafe and marginalized in theaters and their own homes.

Moreover, those in Hollywood and in the high tech world are getting far too rich. They are simply not paying their fair share – remember that their wealth came from the regular Americans who buy movie tickets and iPhones, and it is only right that these rich liberals give something back to working American families.

A 40% surcharge on all Hollywood and Silicon Valley windfall profits would go a long way towards making things fairer – and this has nothing to do with the fact that most Hollywood and Silicon Valley political money goes to our opponents. But don’t worry about our conservative allies in those two fields – if they don’t pay we just won’t prosecute them! But if you’re liberal, watch out!

Of course, it’s entirely possible that we and the Hollywood and high tech moguls can resolve the issues that led to them pouring money into our enemy’s coffers and come to some understanding that keeps us from having to rollback copyright protections on their intellectual property to, say, ten years.

This is only the beginning – the new rules liberate us from the constraints that for so long kept us from truly making conservative progress. All those “principles” and “ideals” about right and wrong and all that only served to take our eyes off of the real prize – our power, which we would only use for the common good.

Sure, we were all sad to see the old rules go, but gone they are. Our liberal friends made sure of that. So let’s make the best of it! (Kurt Schlichter)

The New Amerika

Welcome, all you sheep to The New America.

New American Flag

To paraphrase Lincoln (but with a modern tweek): “…and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall perish from the earth.”

2015 Version: Government of the Government, by the Government, for the Government, shall not perish from this Country.

Welcome, Citizens, to Orwell’s Nightmare.

I pledge allegiance to the New Flag of the Disunited Politically Correct States of Amerika, and to the Socialist Empire for which it stands, one Nation under Government control, indivisible, with no liberty and social justice for only the politically correct.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that Government creates equality, that the people are endowed by their Government with certain human Rights, that among these are Life under Micromanagement, Liberalism and the pursuit of Entitlement.

We the Government of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Disunion, establish Social Justice, insure Political Correctness, provide for all redistribution equally, promote the general Social Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Government to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Empire for the DisUnited States of Amerika. In Political Correctness We Stand.

All Power shall rest with the Government. Period. End of Discussion. All decisions and wishes of Government are final and cannot be challenged under penalty of heresy.

The New Bill of Rights (2015)

1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of  religion, and mocking or hindering the free exercise thereof is required and sanctioned until that religion is sanctioned by The Government itself; or abridging the freedom of LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE speech, or of the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE press; but abridging those who
are not us  is always in the interest of the good of society; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble to worship the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVES and protest it’s enemies, any assembly otherwise in opposition must therefore be “terrorism” “bigotry” or “racism”, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances against ANYONE who
defies us, has exercised “White Privilege”,  and to seek “social justice” at all costs.

2nd Amendment: Repealed.

3rd Since there are no wars (except class & race wars), this is repealed.

4th Repealed, because unless you’re guilty you don’t need any protection and the guilty are not to be protected that’s why they are guilty to begin with.

5th Only the guilty need protection so as long as you are not guilty you don’t need it. And if you are guilty then you aren’t entitled to it anyhow because you’re  a “hater”  or a Thought Criminal and guilty anyhow.

6th In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, Then summary judgement shall rule in favor of the State.

7th Trial by jury shall consist of the State’s mandated jurors and in the cases of “hate” crimes or Thought Crimes the accused is guilty until guilty, especially if they are White.

8th For what the State determines to be a “Hate Crime” or a Thought Crime Excessive bail shall be required, excessive fines imposed,  cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

9th The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the State at their discretion.

10th  The powers not delegated to the DisUnited States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the US Government only.

The other 16 don’t matter anymore as The Government is the final arbiter of all Elections and Judicial cases anyhow so it doesn’t matter anymore.

“White Privilege” is outlawed.

Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance Is Strength
Class War is Peace.
Fear is Hope.

Big Brother is Watching YOU!

Blackwhite is defined as follows:
“     …this word has two mutually contradictory meanings. Applied to an opponent, it means the habit of impudently claiming that black is white, in contradiction of the plain facts. Applied to a Party member, it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary. This demands a continuous alteration of the past, made possible by the system of thought which really embraces all the rest, and which is known in Newspeak as doublethink.     ”—Orwell, 1984

The word is an example of both Newspeak and doublethink. It represents the active process of rewriting the past, control of the past being a vital aspect of the Party’s control over the present.
The ability to blindly believe anything, regardless of its absurdity, can have different causes: respect for authority, fear, indoctrination, even critical laziness or gullibility. Orwell’s blackwhite refers only to that caused by fear, indoctrination, or repression of one’s individual critical thinking (“to know black is white”), rather than caused by laziness or gullibility. A true Party member could automatically, and without thought, expunge any incorrect information and totally replace it with true information from the Party. If properly done, there is no memory or recovery of the Incorrect information that could cause unhappiness to the Party member by committing thoughtcrime. This ability is likened to the total erasure of information only possible in electronic storage.

Welcome, Citizen, to The New Amerika. 🙂

Obama’s 1984

While actions speak louder than words, words often predict future actions. Secular progressives’ words and actions rarely align. This is because the pseudo-utopian, wholly dystopian perch from which they view the world is so detached from reality that, from a cultural and public policy standpoint, they must disguise their intended actions in flowery and euphemistic language, or face near universal rejection.

Don’t do as I do as I say, and I will say it as many Orwellian terms as possible.

When they don’t like the terms, liberals redefine the terms to mean something they do not, never have and never can mean. Consider, for instance, the once meaningful words “marriage” and “equality.”

They only mean for as far as THEIR Agenda goes, not yours.

Other “progressive” doublespeak includes words like “invest” (meaning socialist redistribution of wealth), “tolerance” (meaning embrace immorality or face total ruin), “diversity” (meaning Christians and conservatives need not apply), “hate” (meaning truth) or “The Affordable Care Act” (meaning unaffordable, unsustainable and utterly inferior socialized medicine).

Even so, it’s during those rare moments of candor that our cultural Marxist friends’ rhetoric actually aligns with their intended actions. In other words, every so often, and usually by accident, they tell the truth.

Take this recent declaration by President Obama at Georgetown University. He was discussing his contempt for conservative new media in general and Fox News in particular:

“[W]e’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues,” he said.

How Kim Jong-un of him. In sum: Goal 1) Control thought by, Goal 2) Controlling the media.

The Ministry of Truth!!

This is an idea older than – and as well preserved as – Vladimir Lenin himself. How Dear Leader intends to reconcile his scheme to “change how the media reports on these issues” with the First Amendment’s Free Press Clause, namely, “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom … of the press,” is abundantly clear.

He doesn’t.

Abridging the press of anyone not on the Agenda, that is. And you only have free speech if you say what the Progressive want you to say. Nothing more.

Our emperor-in-chief will force feed his once-free subjects yet another unconstitutional executive decree – a Net Neutrality sandwich with a side of Fairness Doctrine.

Or take would-be President Hillary Clinton’s comments last month on the “rite” of abortion vs. the right of religious freedom.

“The comment has Hillary Clinton essentially saying that Christians must be forced to change their religious views to accommodate abortions.

“‘Far too many women are still denied critical access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth. All the laws we’ve passed don’t count for much if they’re not enforced,’ Clinton said, using the euphemism for abortion.

“‘Rights have to exist in practice – not just on paper,’ Clinton argued. ‘Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.’”

You have to do it our way or else.

That’s a lot of “have tos.” See the pattern here? Whether it’s Obama saying government will “have to change how the media reports,” or Hillary saying “deep-seated religious beliefs have to be changed,” such despotic demands should spike the neck hair of every freedom-loving American.

And then there are those left-wing extremists whose designs on despotism require that Christians “must be made” to obey. Homosexual practitioner and New York Times columnist Frank Bruni is one such extremist. In his April 3 column titled, “Bigotry: The Bible and the Lessons of Indiana,” Bruni quotes homosexual militant Mitchell Gold, a prominent anti-Christian activist: “Gold told me that church leaders must be made ‘to take homosexuality off the sin list,’” he writes. “His commandment is worthy – and warranted,” he adds.

Of course, if homosexual behavior, something denounced as both “vile affections” and “an abomination” throughout both the Old and New Testaments, is no longer sexual sin, then there can be no sexual sin whatsoever. To coerce, through the power of the police state, faithful Christians to abandon the millennia-old biblical sexual ethic and embrace the sin of Sodom would likewise require that Christians sign-off on fornication, adultery, incest and bestiality. Such is the unnatural nature of government-mandated moral relativism.

“But this isn’t free speech, it’s hate speech!” come the mournful cries of the ill-informed and the ill-prepared, desperately afraid to debate the issues on the merits. “Hate speech is excluded from protection,” opines CNN anchor Chris Cuomo in a recent tweet on the topic. “But there is no hate speech exception to the First Amendment,” replies UCLA law professor Eugene Volohk in a Washington Post op-ed. “Hateful ideas (whatever exactly that might mean) are just as protected under the First Amendment as other ideas.”

Of course this matters not to those to whom the First Amendment is meaningless.

Indeed, one man’s “hate speech” is another man’s truth, and as I’ve often said, truth is hate to those who hate truth.

And boy do they hate it.

🙂

And so they mean to muzzle it.

The time of which many of us have long warned is no longer on the horizon. The left’s full-on assault against freedom, most especially religious freedom, is at hand. Oddly, or maybe not so oddly, it’s at once the secular left and orthodox Muslims who lead the charge. These strange bedfellows share a common enemy. He is Truth in the person of Jesus Christ. In order to silence Him, they must silence His faithful followers.

Which brings us to this modern age of American lawlessness. We’re fast moving from a soft tyranny to hard tyranny, and “progressive” leaders like those mentioned above are, chillingly enough, emboldened to the degree that they will openly call for it.

Like our brothers and sisters around the world, American Christians must prepare for suffering.

But, like them, we mustn’t despair.

For there are different kinds of suffering.

Suffering through cancer, for instance, can, and often does, lead to death. Without Christ, who is mankind’s only hope, such suffering is hopeless indeed.

Yet when a young mother suffers through child birth, and while she may experience the same level of pain as the cancer sufferer, her crying out elicits an entirely different response, and her pain serves an entirely different purpose. While one type of suffering leads to death, the other leads to life. While one attends sorrow, the other attends joy.

Similarly, there is a kind of suffering, suffering in sin, which leads to spiritual death, and a kind suffering, suffering in grace, which leads to spiritual life. Anti-Christian persecution, be it efforts to force Christians into disobedience to God, attempts to silence them outright or, worse, the torture, enslavement and even execution of Christ followers – now widespread in both Muslim and Marxist nations across the globe – signifies “the beginning of birth pains” (see Matthew 24:8).

And birth pains lead to new life. (townhall)

90

I am here today with family to gather round and celebrate my Dad’s 90th Birthday and that brings about some reflection and trepidations.

Think of all the the things that have happened in his lifetime so far. The first talking pictures arrived not long after he was born.

TV was created when he was child already in the world.

He is a child, literally, of The Depression when things were bad, worse than they are now, despite everything that Obama has tried to do.

But this is also when “The New Deal” started and Social Security and the beginnings of the Welfare State.

It also an America that eventually rose up against the Nazi’s and the Imperial Japanese and with no political correctness fought and won the last War America fought like that where 1000’s were killed but it was for the cause of freedom and it was celebrated for that. Unlike today where the Liberal Media counts every death and runs an expose’ on how evil it all is.

When you have politically correct wars.

Where the release of 30 Terrorists from Guantanamo (for 1 American hostage) is celebrated as a great thing, while an Army Sgt has been in jail most of the year in Mexico because of a wrong turn but he doesn’t matter.

Obama makes nice with his anti-war base and he makes nice with Terrorists who want to kill us all. But nothing for an innocent Army Sgt in a Mexican Jail.

No political advantage there, so they don’t cares.

But hey, that’s politics 2014 for you.

My dad would have gone off to war, expect we won before he did.

Then came Korea, which was 1/4 as long as M*A*S*H was.

“The Greatest Generation” for sure.

They also had hope and drive for the future. To make it better a world. Hope & Change weren’t just empty political buzzwords, they were action.

Unfortunately, their “The New Deal” and their grandkids starting mucking all that up with “The Great Society” which turns 50 next year. But the poverty rate is exactly the same relatively as it was then. The longest and slowest recovery from a Recession since the Depression, run by Liberal Democrats who also lengthened The Depression because of their socialist ideals.

Do you think the Democrats will throw a party for the 50th Anniversary of their “Great Society”?

He saw Man land on the moon. So did I, but I was 6 so my memories aren’t so great on that.

Then came Vietnam and the end of the old world.

Nixon is impeached for his tapes and the break-in of The WaterGate Hotel. The Liberal mafia media found it’s voice.

After all, Obama lied massively and repeatedly for years and then came Benghazi and what happened to him?

He got re-elected. And he continues to lie his ass off every day.

My how times change.

The Ministry of Truth is in full control of their propaganda.

So one of the things I worry about when I’m 90 (and I hope I am) is that the world will be just as unrecognizable then as it was when my father was born, but not in a good way.

As I am fond of quoting about Orwell, thought control is the central thesis of 1984 and it has been the central tenant of Liberalism ever since.

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”

And who has controlled Education for generations?  Liberals.

Who controls the media, the majority? Liberals.

Who writes the oral and written history? Liberals.

“But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.”

“Orthodoxy means not thinking–not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness.”

So as successive generations are brainwashed into accepting the Liberal memes as normal and dependency and stupidity as normal what future is bright about that?

For if you can’t even conceive of rebellion, how can you rebel?

“Until they became conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious.”

And if you do rebel are you equipped to handle the roughness of self-reliance? I would say many, many people are not. That is scary. And so is, to them, the idea of going it “alone” without Big Brother and Mama Government there to soften the blows and hardships of life.

What’s a little freedom when you can have “security” right?

They are made into vassals for their Feudal Lords to rule over them. Vassals know their place and don’t get uppity, for if they do, then their Masters swift “justice” is upon them.

“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know what no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”

“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever.”

Is this the future?

With the current Democrat Party it surely is. But that doesn’t make the Republicans much better though because they like power just as much as the next guy.

Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. 🙂

It is up to the Vassals to take back America. It will not be an overnight process.

“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”

“The choice for mankind lies between freedom and happiness and for the great bulk of mankind, happiness is better.”

“We do not merely destroy our enemies; we change them.”

To the past, or to the future. To an age when thought is free. From the Age of Big Brother, from the Age of the Thought Police, from a dead man – greetings!”

The Real World

President Obama says his domestic surveillance practices are “modest encroachments on privacy.” Sure. And, as in Orwell’s “1984,” “Freedom Is Slavery” and “Ignorance Is Strength.”

Barack Obama is now not only following George Orwell’s model in his newly uncovered domestic spying practices; he’s copying one of the most shocking aspects of the dystopian society Orwell conjured: telling people the exact opposite of the truth with a straight face.

He boasted an executive branch with “the toughest transparency rules of any administration in history.”

But as the New York Times pointed out in a scathing editorial on the man it helped elect and re-elect, he now issues platitudes that “you should just trust us” because of our “internal mechanisms (that we won’t tell you about) to make sure we do not violate your rights.”

Obama has now “lost all credibility” on transparency, says the Times.

When a president who promised “the most open and transparent administration in history” must now scramble and assure the country that “nobody is listening to your telephone calls,” it exposes a grave breach of trust.

On top of the news last week that the National Security Agency has Verizon phone call records comes the revelation — once again, not from American news media, but from Britain’s left-wing Guardian — that a top secret program called Prism lets the NSA collect data “directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple” — without those firms’ permission or knowledge.

The president last month suggested that the global war on terror has ended. If so, why then are we laying the groundwork for a full-scale surveillance state?

Talk radio powerhouse Mark Levin wants Obama to “tell us why we need to live in this semi- or soft-police state, why we need to have all these records collected,” to “be honest with the American people” about the “fundamental transformation” he’s engineering.

Levin, appearing on Fox, provided a litany of intrusiveness — the Supreme Court letting police take DNA samples in arrests; the IRS collecting “extensive financial and personal information” into a database; ObamaCare’s “massive data collection … of our private, personal medical conditions”; the Transportation Department’s “proposed black boxes in all of our automobiles”; “domestic drones from EPA to make sure farmers aren’t stepping out of line”; Homeland Security “checking laptops and iPhones and other data.”

It’s a short distance between mere possession of so much information, and the politically corrupt misuse of it — a small step from Orwell’s 1984 to Obama’s 2013. (IBD)

“The Affordable Care Act is bringing the cost of health care in our country down.”–Nancy Pelosi.  But it’s the rate of growth that’s dropped, not the actual cost of care — which is still rising.

So yet again, a “cut” or “down” is a decrease in the increase which means the increase is just less than it was but still an increase.

Just like the sequester.

But that’s a triumph for the Democrats in “cutting” costs.

It’s like you paid $7 for that movie Ticket for Iron 3. But for Iron Man 4 you pay $10 but Obama, Reid and Pelosi come along and say, “yeah, but it could have $13! so we cut the price for you aren’t we magnificent! 🙂

then now

She also said it would create “4 Million new jobs”….
Months before ObamaCare takes full effect, its popularity has hit an all-time low. And that’s before the public experiences firsthand the many ill effects it will impose on the nation’s health care system.
Shortly before Democrats rammed ObamaCare through Congress, President Obama’s pollster, Joel Benenson, wrote in the Washington Post that “once reform passes, the tangible benefits Americans will realize will trump the fear-mongering rhetoric opponents are stoking today.”Not quite.

A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll finds 49% now say ObamaCare is “a bad idea” — the highest negative rating ever in that survey. And the share who feel “strongly” about this climbed from 38% in May 2010 — just after the law passed — to 43% today.

At the other end of the spectrum, just 37% believe ObamaCare is a good idea.

That’s in keeping with the Kaiser Family Foundation’s monthly tracking poll, which shows that support for ObamaCare is now just 35%, down from 46% just after Obama signed it into law. Even support among Democrats has softened considerably, falling from 78% when the law passed to just 57% today.

The Kaiser poll also found that more than half think the law’s critics should keep trying to block or change it.

The left continues to claim, as Paul Krugman did not too long ago, that the law “will become more popular once ObamaCare goes into effect.”

But its numbers are virtually certain to fall once millions of Americans learn firsthand that all those promises Democrats made — about how it would lower costs and let everyone keep their health plans and doctors — were bogus.

Last month, for instance, AP reported that millions who now have individual coverage could see their policies canceled because they don’t comply with the law’s mandates. Many will end up forced to buy far more expensive coverage in one of those ObamaCare exchanges.

Countless small businesses that currently offer health benefits will also find their insurance costs skyrocketing, thanks to ObamaCare’s myriad taxes, benefit mandates and intrusive market regulations.

Millions more will likely find themselves dumped by their employers into the government-run exchanges. The Congressional Budget Office expects that 7 million will lose their employer coverage thanks to ObamaCare, and says this figure could reach as high as 20 million.

Anyone want to guess how popular these real-world ObamaCare effects will be? (IBD)

Now ask, if the Liberals care…and you’ll have your real answer.

IT WAS BUSH/REPUBLICANS/RICH/CORPORATIONS FAULT! 🙂nixon
