“Police charged an illegal alien from Guatemala with sexually molesting a three-year-old girl in the ‘sanctuary state’ of Connecticut. Police arrested Douglas Hus-Flores, a 19-year-old Guatemalan national, and charged him with first-degree sexual assault, and risk of injury to a minor. The mother found the toddler bleeding and rushed her to a nearby hospital.” (…)

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy (D) sent a memo in February to law enforcement officials across the state demanding they refuse compliance with federal immigration officials in order to help shield illegal immigrants from federal immigration law.”

This is no where on the “mainstream media” national news.

NBC in NY:

A 19-year-old man living in Stamford who allegedly abused a 3-year-old relative was arrested just a day before he was scheduled for an immigration hearing, authorities say.

Milktoast it why don’t you…

12News Connecticut: Police say Hus-Flores is from Guatemala, and they are unsure of his immigration status.

NBC Connecticut.com (not TV): Stamford police have arrested a Guatemalan man in the country illegally who is accused of sexually assaulting a toddler, according to police.

This was the only one found on any “mainstream media than even mentioned the dreaded two words “illegal alien”.

No report on ABC, CBS,CNN could be found.

An MS-13 gang member who was previously deported four times was arrested in Long Island in March for sexually assaulting a two-year-old girl and stabbing two women.

Police suspect 31-year old Tommy Vladim Alvarado-Ventura, an illegal alien from El Salvador, sexually assaulted his victim on Tuesday night while her mother was at work.

After the assault, the suspect is said to have gone to a bar where he stabbed a woman over a dispute about marijuana.

Upon returning home early Wednesday morning, the two-year-old victim’s mother noticed injuries to her daughter and confronted Alvarado-Ventura, who then stabbed her as well. Alvarado-Ventura plead not guilty to the crimes Thursday.

The crime is “probably the most heinous criminal act I’ve ever seen. It really is nauseating,” acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter said at a news conference on Thursday.

Alvarado-Ventura was deported to El Salvador four times between 2006 and 2011, police confirmed, and had a record which included arrests for assault, contempt of court, drunk driving, disorderly conduct, and false impersonation.

The horrific crime comes on the heels of news that illegal alien Henry Sanchez-Millian, an 18-year old Guatemalan, and Jose Montano, a 17-year old from El Salvador, brutally raped a 14-year-old classmate during school hours in Rockville, Maryland.

Mainstream media: Bupkis… Not on the Agenda. But hey they aren’t biased….

I used to argue with my father about my chosen profession. I said journalists tried to objectively report the news. He said Dan Rather went home at night and stuck pins in a George Bush voodoo doll.

My father is still resolute in his belief. I’ve all but given up on mine.

It’s all Donald Trump’s fault, of course.

Actually, media bias was apparent long before Trump arrived. He has merely accelerated the collapse of journalism into tribal warfare that leaves readers not knowing where to turn for the truth.

Trump’s media boosters defend him no matter the crazy tweet, while his critics treat his every move as the end of civilization.

But no serious person turns to Sean Hannity, Rachel Maddow, Breitbart News or the Huffington Post for objective reporting and analysis.

A lot of serious people still turn to the mainstream media for that. By “mainstream” I mean the table-setters like The New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN.

I include CNN because president Jeff Zucker claims the network’s credibility is “higher than ever.” In fairness, he said that before the mainstream media officially jumped the shark last week.

They’ve been pursuing the Russian collusion story for months, which is fine. There’s no evidence Trump conspired with the Kremlin to turn Hillary Clinton into George McGovern. But there’s enough smoke to warrant an investigation.

There has also been smoke around Trump’s claim the Obama administration was spying on him. It got thicker last week with reports that Susan Rice, President Obama’s national security adviser, unmasked the identities of Trump associates incidentally swept up in surveillance of foreign targets.

It was curious that Rice said she knew nothing about the situation two weeks earlier. At least you’d think it would be curious to the capital’s intrepid journalists.

The New York Times buried the Rice story on page A-16. The Washington Post ran no story. On their evening news programs, CBS did 45 seconds, while ABC and NBC did zero.

CNN morning anchor Chris Cuomo called it a “fake scandal” with “no evidence of any wrongdoing.”

That exactly matches the amount of evidence Trump colluded with Russia, but nevermind.

CNN’s Don Lemon told viewers the Rice story was bogus, and “we will not insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise.”

This from the anchor who in 2014 posited that Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 might have been swallowed by a black hole.

I didn’t vote for Trump (full disclosure: I wrote in Rutherford B. Hayes). If the FBI finds he colluded with Russia, I hope he has to share a prison cell with a 300-pound illegal alien.

But there is no question Trump associates were caught in NSA surveillance and at least one name was leaked, which is a crime. Now a senior member of the outgoing administration is parsing words and playing dumb, and the whole spying issue is immediately dismissed as fake news?

If the Washington Post had the same curiosity in 1972, Richard Nixon might still be in the White House.

This farce is hardly surprising. Polls consistently show the mainstream media vote Democrat; yet they insist that has no bearing on their news judgment.

Yes, that’s how you end up with 100-inch investigative stories on Mitt Romney putting his dog in a carrier on the top of a station wagon in 1983.

That’s why The New York Times and Washington Post asked readers to help comb through thousands of Sarah Palin’s emails when she was Alaska’s governor.

Funny, I didn’t see the “Help Wanted” sign put out over Hillary’s email trove last year.

This bias subtlety manifests itself in story placement, lack of context and omission of relevant facts. Then sometimes, like Rice, it slaps you in the face.

This has left us with a media free-for-all. In one world, Trump can do no wrong. In the other, he can do no right.

If a reader wants an authoritative source objectively searching for the truth, good luck.

I don’t know where all this will lead in the next four years. I do know that the next time my father or anyone else says the media are biased, I’m not going to argue.

After all, I don’t want to insult their intelligence. (dwhitley@orlandosentinel.com)

On March 2nd, 13 MS-13 gang members, 10 of whom are illegal aliens, were indicted for a string of crimes including the murders of two area teenagers. That same week, two MS-13 gang members in Houston, Texas were arrested for murdering a teenage girl during a “satanic” ritual.

Three weeks ago, ICE issued detainers for six MS-13 members in Virginia involved in the January killing of 15-year-old Damaris Alexandra Reyes Rivas of Gaithersburg, Maryland. Two other bodies, suspected victims of the vicious gang, were discovered in Virginia only days before the detainers were issued. (http://oklahoma.247sports.com)

But I’m just a humble evil “white Privilege” “racist” who heartless wants to break up families by deporting illegal aliens, after all…  🙂
